Tessie Aquino-Oreta, Sen. Nene Pimentel, Sen. Serge Osmeña at Rep. Dilanggalen.

Sabi ni Embassy spokesperson Matthew Lussenhop “The gtovernment of the Philippines made a decision to transfer Lance Corporal Daniel Smith back to US custody, consistent with the terms of the VFA (Visiting Forces Agreement).”

Deadma lang ang Malacañang, Department of Justice at Department of Foreign Affairs.

Talagang ‘di tayo marunong tumayo at lumaban.

If anything happens like this in Japan, you can bet your bottom dollar there will be a public outcry starting with our media people who will definitely not stop until the PM resigns for this utter disregard for the rule of the law, for the PM cannot be above the law, nor can he meddle in the affairs of our courts.

As I have stated in previous posts, I have on several occasions translated for US servicemen caught doing crimes in Japan, and the US embassy does not at all get custody of them but allow their legal office to coordinate with the police, the prosecutor’s office and the court to try their offending nationals according to the rules and laws of Japan, an indication in fact that the Americans have more respect for the Japanese than the Filipinos, whom they apparently still treat as their subordinates and slaves!!!

Kawawang bansa! All the more reason why Filipinos should look at these Americans as ugly imperialists and not allow them to build another base in the country as stated in the 1987 Constitution and 1992 ruling against foreign military installations in the Philippines.

PATALSIKIN NA, NOW NA! BAKIT BA NADUDUWAG ANG MGA PILIPINO? DAHIL BA HAWAK NG MGA PIDALS ANG PALABIGASAN NG BANSA—ANG JUETENG?! PWE!

Aswang Gloria-Reyna ng Kadiliman. Vampire Gloria stalks at night for deception and prey. She and her cohorts sucked the national treasury dry. They deliberately sucked the overseas workers OWWA trust funds and farmers’ P729 M fertilizer funds for electioneering. Bitayin si Aswang Gloria!

  9. After the 150,000 heavy during the Catholic Prayer Meeting at Luneta, the Great Switik must have realized that the end is near and she needs to mend her relationship with the US government, now her only salvation. Thus, the swishing of the horny US soldier to the US embassy in the wee hours of the night.

I wonder how much was given to the Filipino guards at the city jail where the horny US soldiers was incarcerated to have him handed over to the Americans sans a court order!

Unbelievable really! This kind of blatant disregard for Philippine law is something that I have never heard of being committed by both Japan government and US base authoritiesb just to show you how the Americans can have more respect for Japanese laws (written in Japanese as a matter of fact—transolations into English are only for the perusal of foreigners) than for Philippine laws (written in English that majority of Filipinos do not ironically seem to even understand)!

  10. BTW, Tongue T, All, the new US immigration rule was protested by only 100,000 people compared to the 150,000 who went to the prayer rally at Luneta, but they made an impact. So, who says that the 150,000 rallyists (including you and all of us anti-Great Switik in this blog) cannot have an impact? Let’s wait and see!!! Kaya nga natakot si Great Switik and trying hard to solicit US help even by ignoring Philippine law, and criminal procedures re the case of the People of the Philippines Versus the horny US soldier.

PATALSIKIN NA, NOW NA! TAMA NA, SOBRA NA!

Arroyo’s New Year’s Resolution (by Perry Diaz)

The Christmas holiday celebration at the Malacanang Palace was — like those of recent years — pompous and elegant. President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo was resplendent in her trend-setting attire and the First Gentleman looked his best in his exquisitely hand-embroidered barong Filipino.

The by-invitation-only party brought together the rich and powerful people of the land — old rich, taipans, nouveau riche, patriarchs of the political dynasties, political leaders, business cronies, political allies, military top brass, and influence peddlers as well.

The sumptuous 18-course Chinese lauriat was flown in by private jet from the best caterer in Beijing — a gift from President Arroyo’s new friends in China. The beverages — which included cases of expensive Napoleon Baccarat Cognac — would make Prince Charles of England green of envy. And for the cigar aficionados, Cohiba corona especiales were flown in from Havana, courtesy of one of the world’s top arms dealers.

For entertainment, two dozen members of the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra provided an endless string of Christmas songs including the popular Noel to which the guests sang along. Upon hearing the word Noel, President Arroyo quipped; Of course, there would be No-el in 2007, to which the politicians clapped their hands enthusiastically as they all shouted, No-el! No-el! No election in 2007! Mabuhay si Gloria!

The dinner started promptly at 7:00 PM. At 8:30 PM, President Arroyo, after an introduction by the Speaker of the House, stood up and proposed a toast, to an enchanted kingdom by 2010. The spontaneous response of Gloria forever! Gloria forever! was deafening and the foot-thumping was earthshaking. The floor of the palace’s grand ballroom shook as if a locomotive had just passed by.

The exchange of gifts followed the presidential toast. The guests formed a single line to the presidential table. As each guest handed a gift-wrapped present to President Arroyo, the First Gentleman handed the guest a thick red envelope.

Then came the highlight of the evening — a presidential speech. It was a speech President Arroyo had never delivered before in previous Christmas parties. After six years as president of our beloved country, she said, I have reached the crossroads of my presidency — either it’s business as usual or do something that has never been done before by any president before me, and that is to finish the unfinished revolution started by our heroes in 1896. The guests gave her a standing ovation for five minutes.

President Arroyo continued, I believe that to accomplish this monumental task, I have to bite the bullet and do whatever it takes to make our nation great again. She paused to acknowledge another standing ovation. I have prioritized a set of goals for the new year, she said and brought out a piece of paper. This is my New Year’s resolution. The guests were silent and breathless with anticipation.

First, the president began, I’ll make sure that every child will get a mandatory education. As my friend George W. Bush once said, No child shall be left behind and I agree.A standing ovation of five minutes followed.

Second, the president continued, I shall ask Congress to pass a law that would give land to the landless. And I’ll ask Gawad Kalinga to build houses for the homeless Filipino families on these lands. Standing ovation for 10 minutes.

I’ll start the construction of the Pan-Philippine Express that would connect — with an unbroken railroad system — Aparri in the north to the tip of Sarangani in the south. We will build subterranean tunnels across the San Bernardino Strait, San Juanico Strait, and Surigao Strait, a feat that has never been done before. The railroad system will be completed by the end of my presidency in 2010.Standing ovation for four minutes.

Fourth, I’ll eradicate hunger. I’ll ask the 8.5 million OFWs to feed the 8.5 million hungry men, women and children here. I’ll make sure that there will be food on the table three times a day. Standing ovation for six minutes.

Fifth, I’ll make sure that every Filipino who is able and willing to work shall get a job. I’ll be twisting your arms — especially the taipans — to provide jobs for the jobless. Silence.

I must have said something that you didn’t like to hear, ha?, the president noted. Well, you ain’t seen nothing yet! The guests looked at one another without muttering a word.

Sixth, I’ll make the Philippines the number one tourist destination in the world. We’ll convert Clark Base to the ˜Las Vegas of the East.” I’ll create 100 new ˜Boracay islands” and make the Philippines the Paradise of the Orient Seas. Standing ovation for one minute.

Seventh, I’ll ask Congress to appropriate money to triple our military strength to fight terrorism and to quell the communist insurgency. I promise you that we’ll defeat them by Christmas Day next year. Clapping for 10 seconds.

Eight, I’ll stop the killings of journalists and activists. We’ll hunt the killers and their masterminds and send them to jail for life without parole. I’ll impose a moratorium on the manufacture and importation of firearms. We’ll put the ˜merchants of death” out of business by next year’s end. Silence.

Ninth, I’ll stop the drug lords, jueteng operators, human traffickers and other criminals. I’ll send them all to jail for the rest of their lives. Silence.

And last but not the least, I’ll stop corruption at every level of government and the private sector as well. Corrupt officials will be dealt with without mercy. Either they return the money they took or go to jail for life. Silence. The guests were stunned.

The silence was broken by my alarm clock. I woke up and asked myself, was I dreaming? Or was it something that I read in the newspapers? I looked for the latest Filipino newspapers and turned the pages searching for the story of President Arroyo’s New Year’s resolution. Nothing. I realized then that I was just dreaming. But what a wonderful dream it was. I wished I remained asleep for a lot longer to enjoy the Enchanted Kingdom of President Arroyo.

  16. By allowing GMA and her administration to openly flout the respect of the laws of the land, these Justices are also allowing the general break-down of law and order. What the public see’s the public follows and before long the people will also openly flout the law of the land, ignore such process as impeachment resulting in mob violence towards this evil woman and her administration, also during the stillness of night, as a way to stop the unlawful actions of an evil devil.
It is my hope that the Pinoy residing in the United States will group together to demonstrate in their streets the filipino disgust and to ensure that the american people know that their own usa government is recklessly breaking international law, without a court order, in a hosting country to assist a fake president again her own people. It is my guess that the general american populace will be embarressed that their own administration is assisting in breaking international law. As someone has already pointed out the american are proud to think that they are the bedrock of democracy, plus its a sure way of getting an international news reaction.

  17. As I understand Japan, if this were to happen there at least someone would have fallen on their sword in shame. But here you get a promotion to a higher rank. Is this because of culture or just that there’s no real shame in bad actions here, just words.

  18. Maybe the problem starts and ends with the so called ‘lay back attitude’ which covers up a multitude of sins, such as why the difficulty of getting people motivated to ensure good governance even though its obvious the ship is sinking abd sinking fast.

  19. I’ve long decided that the so-called ‘lay back attitude’ is a cover-up so that you don’t call a spade a spade. To say I will pray for a solution is a cope out in my books (be sure that Im not saying prayer is wrong). Nobody knows if your praying or not,(just like when the businessman is told the cheque is in the mail) so it becomes in danger of being just an expression to appease without ever committing yourself to a particular action or thought. It’s a cope out because you never take responsibility of being part of the solution. Worse of all it is downright lazy not to commit yourself to a problem that concerns the whole nation, that includes you.
Of course the bloggers viewing this have already been converted, but its a reminder that during our ‘normal’ coversations with people we should try to interject the basic problem of being committed to problems of governance.
Everyone reading this post could help by sending an email to an american newspaper ststing their disgust at the assistance given to the fake president by their Embassy in Manila to blatently assist in going against the rule of law of the Philippine Convention. Newspapers are scratching around for news this time of year.
Anyway Happy New Year, have a good one.

Your suggestion that we write to American newspapers is well taken. But why not start with local Filipino papers in the US. There are many like Philippine News that have quite a huge circulation.

  21. mandirigma:
That’s a wonderful idea, maybe you know of some local newspaper titles and post them so that we can look them up on the internet. We can measure the effect of our bloggers on these usa newspapers, in due time.

Thinking about the actions of these people is really mind-boggling. Can you imagine a host country lead by this evil queen in her desire to please her guest, practically begged her guest to rape her? It only shows that leadership in this benighted country is weak-kneed and need to be replaced.

  23. mandirigma mandirigma

Many of the local Filipino papers have affiliates in the Philippines. The problem is these papers might be identified with Malacanang. An example is Philippine News that’s perceived to be pro-Arroyo. Anyway, do you know what the explanation of DILG is regarding the midnight transfer of Smith? According to DILG Sec. Puno, it was to avoid traffic.

Could anyone in his/her right mind believe this GAGO?

    We will never learn:

Bihira kang makabasa ng editorial against Gloria.

    YSTAKEI,
You are so proud of Japan. Yet I find it supernally ironic that you are blissfully unaware that Japan is the perfect model of a compleat semi-colony of America. Look, her entire defense for a half a century was ceded to America. Her sovereignty is nonexistent even today. That is because unlike some of us, the Japanese long ago discovered that Americans are not a nation of rapists, either of women or Constitutions. And that Justice bears no nationality, because the love of justice, is a virtue greater than, bigger than nationalism, bigger even than patriotism.

I repeat: Japan is a perfect semi-colony of America.

The communication of politics I find is a problem of its own
I tend to use taxi’s a lot and usually the taxi driver has a general opinion that equates to the local people in that particular area. Sometimes the reaction can be frustrating to say the least. When the Bolante scan was all the talk in every newspaper, I happen to say to a taxi driver “what do you think about Bolante then” the taxi driver replied to me “who’s Bolante” I was amazed that he didn’t even know who Bolante was, amazing but is common. I talk to young people who cannot name a single senator, I guess the parents are the same, thats one of the reasons that this fake administration can get away with what they’re doing.

  32. GodSaveDConstitution:
What I recall is that at the end of WW2 there were two enemies defeated. One was Germany and forbidden to have there own military so defense was covered by the British Army and likewise the Japanese were forbidden to have there own military and the US covered their defense.
I don’t recall the Philippines being forbidden to have their own military after WW2. Are we comparing Apples and Pears here. As far as I remember the Philippines had a choice, didn’t they.

Most disgraced Japanese now do not do disembowelment anymore. They simply hang themselves by some hotel bathroom’s curtail rail, or jump from one of the tall buildings in Japan.

Harakiri (cutting the belly) is a thing of the past. It’s more messy that’s why. Labas na ang tae pugot pa ang ulo as the ritual requires someon cutting off the head of the one committing harakiri especially when ordered to do so. Besides, it’s against the law now to possess swords and firearms as they can kill people. The penalty is heavy.

Many of my relatives are in the US. More than ever especially with Saddam’s execution as ordered by the US (yes, the Iraq Court was ordered by the US), hatred for Americans have grown significantly. Kung noon masarap magyabang at i-display ang US passport, subukan nila ngayon at baka barilin sila ng taong nasa likod nila. As a matter of fact, Americans are off limits in other countries like Indonesia. But that’s the reality of life.
