Comelec’s idea of “successful” election

Comelec has declared the special elections generally peaceful and successful.

Here’s Inquirer’s report:

The watchdogs were no match for the cheaters and the just-ended elections here were not only “not credible” but worse than those of 2004 — the year of the “Hello Garci” tapes.

This was how the monitors of the National Citizens’ Movement for Free Elections (Namfrel) assessed the regular and special elections held in Lanao del Sur province.

  1. COMELEC is an agency that’s not only incompetent, they are dishonest.

With Abalos at the head, there is no way we can advance in democracy.

As Yuko says, this agency must be scrapped. Abalos exists because Gloria exists and needs him. Abalos is the most incompetent election chief I’ve ever seen. Even the Afghan election agency did a much better job during their elections.

How can we even begin to call this country democratic? There’s no respect for the integrity of the ballot, there’s no dignity in our officials, there’s no respect for the voters…

  2. Kontra-Daya rally at the PICC where Comelec is holding the canvassing starts at 1 p.m. Assembly point: Star City

  3. alitaptap alitaptap

If this poll body called COMELEC not only condones by promotes cheating in contravention to its existence as the institution of suffrage, COMELEC has no right to exist and the commissioners are liable to punitive measures as embodied in the constitution of the republic.
AWAY WITH COMELEC – ABALOS TO THE GALLOWS!!

  5. Sarmiento said “I’m willing to resign if it is proven that it (the transfer to a hotel) is irregular,? he added in an interview”. Asking to be re-assigned is not the same as you RESIGNING you liar.
Sarmiento said he was resigning due to health reasons, and asked the Comelec chief, Benjamin Abalos Sr., to appoint another commissioner to head the task force Maguindanao probe, even when Sarmiento is the logical choice to do this, having experienced and witnessed for himself the poll cheating in the ARMM.
Speculation was rife yesterday that Sarmiento was under heavy pressure from Malaca񡮧 to ensure that at least three more TU bets would enter the 12-man slate and that he had succumbed to Palace pressure, as the poll commissioner clearly contradicted himself earlier on the transfer of the blank ERs to a hotel in Iligan. As reported in the Tribune.

Hope that the demonstration on Wednesday reminds Sarmiento of his vow to resign – lapse of judgement or the new phrase HONEST MISTAKE! If he was Japanese he would commit suicide.

Simple lang, the Comelec has declared the special elections generally peaceful and successful due to the following:

    1. There were many brigadier generals sent there by Mrs. Arroyo thru Esperon to command their men for the much ballyhooed command votes, kaya generally speaking, these generals were promised of additional one star kaya walang hunos dili silang sumusunod. Star margarine!
    2. It’s peaceful because the military and police were there, the armed goons were there all pointing the barrels of their gun to the takot na takot na voters. Walang makapiyok, kaya tahimik, peaceful.
    3. Successful because they succeeded in threatening the voters, the board of inspectors, the teachers, the watchers. Mission accomplished ang pandaraya.

  7. One things for sure, in that I WITNESSED Sarmiento being interviewed at an Iligan hotel on television that there were blank ERs to a hotel in that Iligan hotel and he lied to the camera with a smile on his face that there were no ER’s there then when shown proof that there were ER’s there he immediately agreed that there were ER’s there. Are you being CLEAN & HONEST I don’t think so Commissioner Sarmiento

  8. Sarmiento – if you cant commit suicide then just resign because you’ve lost your credibility shown before the whole world.

  9. xanadu xanadu

    WWNL

Sarmiento is indeed under heavy pressure from Malacanang to facilitate the counting in favor of the TUtas. He is also under pressure by the people who were with him fighting the dictatorship that what they fought for is not what he’s doing in helping thwart the people’s will in the region he is responsible to.

Earlier, I asked him to resign, suntok sa buwan, but if he will do it, make a last act of heroism. If he cannot be a suicide bomber and blast himself with Abalos and the rest of bad Comelec officials, he will emerge a better man by revealing all what he knows of the shenanigans in the Comelec. Make an honorable about face.

Government officers and employees who on official trip should be frugal in their traveling expenses. Ibigay na natin yong P8T plane ticket but the P30T hotel expenses is too much unless may sponsor. And we know, he got sponsors not just by Zubiri but also those who are clinging in the vine to be able to barge in the Magic 12 na pilit minamagic. Kuripot naman ni Zubiri kung P2M lang. And how about Recto, one of the richest senators, Pechay can pitch as much as P10M and perhaps Defensor who’s smarting for not having smelled what is to be in winning circle even for a moment. Nakakaawa naman. Tinalo pa ng isang nakakulong.

Siyanga pala, after their Mastercard run of credit limit, there’s Visa.

  13. Successful election? Comelec hasn’t even been born – it doesn’t know the meaning of the word successful.

I’ve just gone to visit Quezon’s blog where he quoted News break item that said that “operators moved only recently to buy votes for their clients”.

I am simply flabbergasted – “moved only recently to buy votes for their clients”? That scenario from the Newsbreak report is shocking but I can very well believe it; just that it’s one thing to hear it but another to read it in black and white and there’s no reason whatsoever to doubt the veracity of this Newsbreak report.

Our elections are a total disgrace. The Philippine political and election situation is just so gobsmackingly pathetic in the extreme. I just can’t believe how low the Philippines has become! Even war-torn Afghanistan had a lot more credible and infinitely more lawful election in their 2005 National Assembly and Provincial Council Elections.

Afghan woman, shown casting her ballot during the country’s 2005 election – there were no gun-toting troops guarding or telling her what to do; the election went quite peacefully and very orderly!

The Afghans exercised more civility during the voting and followed due process in counting the votes during that election period when millions of voters across the country exercised their democratic rights to elect legitimate representatives to institutions that would govern the country at national and provincial level for the coming years. There were no gun toting goons nor rampant vote buying, padding, shaving, hocus pocusing…

How extremely nauseating Philippine politics and Philippine institutions have become under the command of this horrible midget – from top to bottom they’ve become all alike. How these so-called educated people, God fearing people, purporting to be civilized have all hit rock bottom!

Wala nang pamupuntahan si Sarmiento. He was proven guilty-by Carandang- kaya nagresign siya for “health reason”. Is his conscience bothering him? Not a bit wala na man siya noon. Sa tingin ko, Recto will up his bid to topple Zubiri dahil malaking kahihiyan kung maunahan pa siya ng isang bagito. Kaya lamang, hanggang pang 13 place lang siya. No way siyang mapasama sa Magic 12. Sakit noon, hirap sikmurain.

Meanwhile, over at the TU camp, grasping at straws seems to be the order of the day. Amid fallen crests and droopy shoulders, somebody suddenly comes up with the bright idea:

TU 1 : (TING! Light bulb goes off)
Heck, why not accuse the opposition of cheating!
I’m such a freakin’ genius. You have to pay me more.

TU 2 : You have no evidence, dumdum.

    TU 1 : We’ll manufacture it!

TU 2 : But it would take days to manufacture it
and in case you haven’t noticed, the old fool
has run out of excuses to delay the proclamation any
    longer.

TU 1 : (TING! Light bulb) We’ll go to the media NOW but we’ll ONLY say that we are still getting Ready to Present Evidence of Cheating.

TU 2 : Wow! What a great idea! That’s the best you’ve had since floating the name of Cesar Montano!

TU 1 and TU 2 slap each other on the back.

Well sige na nga — but they have to know staging something of that sort is not a walk in the park. They’d have have to write a rudimentary screenplay and have to make sure the camera-work is cinema-verite.

So hala, may shooting sila ngayon.

In broader sense, it also means, vote shaving, threatening and if the meaning is still Clueless to you…KEEPING BLANK ERs IN A HOTEL! sounds CLEAR & logical, RIGHT? And for all other reasons, this word SUCCESSFUL, could really mean for the people’s unproclaimed word of mouth…TOTALLY UNSUCCESSFUL for Gloria’s TUTA!

Arroyo safe from impeachment by House — Palace official

Opposition doesn’t have numbers, says Ermita

    By Lira Dalangin-Fernandez

Last updated 02:06pm (Mla time) 05/29/2007

MANILA, Philippines — Assured of the numbers at the House of Representatives, President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo is safe against another impeachment attempt from the lower House, a senior Palace official said Tuesday.

    —————————————————–

Yeah. But it doesn’t change the fact that Gloria is a cheat and a liar and a thief and a murderer.

Oh, we’ll kick her out alright.

  27. I will consider this election successful if Abaloslos will honor and respect the rule of the majority, at least 8 votes for the GO senators. Otherwise, it is the same brand of Pidal election that Filipinos cannot get used to—a sign in fact that they have not been completely possessed by the devil as personified by the criminal squatting at the palace by the murky river!

Pwe! Kakadiri as in Zubiri!

  28. Skip,

The results of the senatorial elections should have more potent implications than an impeachment- I see the results as 12-0 (two candidates from TU in the Magic 12 were oppositionists, Gringo WAS anti-Gloria, and Kiko called on Aling Gloria to resign), a resounding vote against Aling Gloria by the nation at large. If we look at the house composition now, we may say that impeachment may be improbable. We’ll get a better picture after reallignments are drawn on the first session day. I am still optimistic that the house will learn how to read the writing on the walls.

AS to COMELEC’s harping on the elections as “successful”, I suggest we refer them to the cheapest dictionary… no, better yet, have grade school pupils lecture them on the definition of “successful”.

    ystakei,

Gloria doesn’t inspire too much goodwill, does she? Yep, it’s industrial-strength fire and brimstone for her.

    Ka Enchong,

Oo, it’s obvious that the electorate has rejected Gloria in the rudest way possible. The non-GO in the Top 12 are not her allies at all. 12-0 nga pala talaga, come to think of it.

And because of this strong message coupled with Gloria’s increasing perception as a lame duck, it’s really not impossible for allegiances to shift in the House.

    Yan ang masayang abangan.

Sinabi mo pa. Kahit nga kapatid niyan sa ama, wala siyang goodwill e dahil masama daw talaga ang ugali. One thing sure is she has some tililing in her head. Ang galing pang magsinungaling. And one thing really amazingly incredible about this idiot is she believes in her lies and lives them out as when she tries to attach herself with an old Manila chieftain but refuses to acknowledge paternity with that Macapagal from Macacabebe with his spelled with a “k,” but his descendant trying to remove the stigma attached to the name had insisted on the “c.”

Now, we hear of the husband also suffering from the same mental illness of illusion of grandeur as he imagines himself being descended from a Catholic saint, whom I heard did not marry and did not have children. Maniniwala pa siguro ako kung sinabing kamag-anak nila iyong tikbalang at aswang sa Panay!

This reminds me of my elder brother who had to have all the banana trees by his window cut after reading from the Philippine Free Press about the Filipino belief of these tikbalangs leaving the lower half of their bodies under banana trees. Talaga namang nakakatakot especially when you imagine these tikbalangs flying under a full moon!!!

Yikes!!! 😛

Iyong camera ko at least may night shots. Parang katulad ng ginagamit ng mga kano sa Iraq when they go on night raids. kahit walang ilaw kita nila ang kalaban.

  32. Ano daw? Successful, peaceful elections daw? Wow!

Nasiraan na ng ulo ang COMELEC…

  33. Meawnhile, news flash says that Philippines “regrets” Myanmar’s refusal to release Suu Kyi!

Unbelievable! DFA officials have no business “regretting” Myanmar’s odious attitude towards Suu Kyi when we have dozens of dozens of militants, activists, anti-Arroyo proponents in MILITARY and POLICE captivity whom Arroyo and her dog, Esperon don’t want to release.

Sanamagan!

Puro kagaguhan. Ano yan, Department of Foreign Kalokohan?

    ystakei,

Could be that a generational curse is upon this unhappy bloodline. In all likelihood, she is related to the Major Makapagal who carried out the execution of Bonifacio.

    Dugong traydor.

    The wikipedia entry partly goes:

Major Lazaro Makapagal, along with four soldiers, was given orders to lead the Bonifacio brothers to Mt. Nagpatong. Makapagal was also given a sealed envelope with strict orders not to open it until they reached the mountains. On May 10, 1897, at Mt. Nagpatong, Major Lazaro Makapagal opened the letter, faced the Supremo and his brother, and read its contents aloud. Andres and Procopio were to be executed by firing squad or he himself would be shot. It was signed by General Mariano Noriel. Makapagal turned his back and his soldiers opened fire on the Bonifacio brothers. The Supremo was only 34 years old.

Remember Antonio Luna? My maternal grandfather was his nephew and sidekick. My grandfather, the British mestiso, saw his granduncle killed by these Macabeben bodyguards of Aguinaldo.

I am told that he himself was wounded but he survived, but not the hatred that he felt all his life for Aguinaldo, whose name was taboo in my grandfather’s household. It was why I wondered why Filipinos called Aguinaldo a hero.

I did not know that this Makapagal had a rank. Ang alam ko si Antonio Luna was called “General” but this Macapagal being a Major, I doubt.

That information must have come from the squatters of Malacanang who have been trying to whitewash their family trees, lots of fairy tales posted in their family websites including those posted in the Marikina home page. Ang galing ng mga sinungaling. Baka kalabas-labas, descendants sila ni Cain!!! 😛

Ellen, I observed this in PDI COMELEC tallies:

1- Tally dated May 24/11:58 pm was carried thru up to – as of Tuesday May 29/6:31 pm; date below the tally was the same as if there was no change in the the number of votes. as if COMELEC has not given update figures from Thursday May 24/11:59 pm to Tuesday May 29/6:31pm.

    2. BUT There were changes in the number of votes; those ranked 1 – 16 (ie. Legarda -Pichay) got additional more than 1 million votes

    3. the two sets of tallies are both labeled underneath the data as dated May 24/11:58 pm

    4. It is INTERESTING to look at the percentage increases of candidates in two sets of tally having ONE DATE SAME HOUR.

    5. from the TUs:
    Honasan- votes increased by 15.09%
    Arroyo by 11.33%
    Zubiri by 14.31%
    Recto by 13.55%
    Defensor by 14.65%
    Pichay by 14.65 %
    Magsaysay by 14.32 %
    Singson by 15%

    6. from the GOs:
    Cayetano by 12.27%
    Trillanes by 11.41 %
    Pimentel by 13.79%
    Osmena by (find that out)

    7. There is really nothing in these percentages, but why two sets of figures, could be more but I noticed only two.

    8. The rankings show Zubiri, Recto, Defensor, and Pichay breathing down the necks of Pimentel and Trillanes.

    9. When newspapers report that it’s still GOs winning , look underneath the figures especially for those veterans of mind conditioning.

Same old story as a matter of fact. Macapagal was the president of the Philippines when I was an undergrad student at UP. Iyong professor ko galit na galit kay Macapagal at ang sabi sa amin, “Filipinos of this and future generations of Filipino will never be able to pay the debts incurred by Diosdado Macapagal.”

Rice was imported from Vietnam that was politically in turmoil then.

Requirement ang written and spoken Japanese.

Golly, main industry ng Pilipinas, human trafficking! Yikes!

  40. This mid-term election can be considered successful only when Abaloslos and his fellow crooks in the Comolec concede and declare the 8 or 9 GO candidates for Senator as the genuine winners, not the hocu-pocus victory of lulubog-lilitaw Zubiri as in kakadiri!!!

Filipinos will not wait till 2010 Mr. Abaloslos for you to declare LEGARDA, ESCUDERO, LACSON, AQUINO, VILLAR, CAYETANO, TRILLANES, PIMENTEL, ROCO/COSETENG/OSMENA as the victorious winners.

Let’s all demand for the resignation of Abaloslos and all the Commissioners of the Comolec regardless of whether or not they are in cahoot with the Malacangn squatter and her tribe of election hooligans.

I was reading the postings here and I wrote
    what comes to mind:

The watch dogs were no match for cheaters; the COMELEC as watchdog is actually the brains and muscles of cheating. When there is no election, when cheating is under control by the COMELEC, the AFP and the PNP, election is not only peaceful but sleepy and boring disturbed only by stray reports of heroic reporters who have to stay awake doing their jobs.

The election “not credible” (so says NAMFREL in Lanao del Sur) is the understatement of gloria’s decade (wake up, could be more) of rule. The statement made the serious crime against suffrage, a child’s misdemeanour.

AdB says: COMELEC is an agency that’s not only incompetent, they are dishonest. I say it’s worst, it’s a criminal institution whose leaders should have been burned at the stake after the 2004 elections.

Abalos is unicellular, like the amoeba, when he infects the political digestive system, Abalos can turned honesty, self-respect and love of country into a diarrhea of contaminated blood, sputum and feces found only in a coroner’s toxic waste. Abalos amoebaiasis is a disease found only in the Philippines. No human bacteria can be so lethal that death of the afflicted means only multiplication and rejuvenation of the pathogen.

I just started but I got to go, do something else.

  43. luzviminda,

I may still give Arroyo a second chance considering his roles in arguing against PP1017 and EO464, but that’s another story altogether. What’s becoming clear is that his inclusion in the Magic 12, together with Angara, Kiko and Gringo from outside the GO ticket, is attributable to his previous oppositionist stance. It appears to me that the voters’ real intention is 12-0, not 8-2-2. If it were Defensor and/or Pichay in the Magic 12, then, I’d read it as it is. In other words, kahit 8-2-2 yan, malinaw na malinaw na- the majority sentiment is against Aling Gloria and against any of her proven lapdogs. Those who underestimated the intelligence of the electorate were proven wrong this time. Sana, magtuluy-tuloy na.

    luzviminda,

With the indulgence of Ms. Ellen, I just would like to share with you my thought processes while I was considering my bets. I posted this in my fraternity’s Yahoogroup a few days before the elections.

    —————————————————-

    REVERSALS

I’ve always had a soft spot for Joker Arroyo.

His defiance of the Marcos dictatorship was like a solitary candle raging against the darkness. I cheered, quite lustily, when this administration senator spoke out against Gloria’s EO 464 and Proclamation 1017. I applauded his brave stand against Gloria’s self-serving Charter Change. All in all, his brand of centrist, freedom-fighter politics had always sat well with my own.

But this time, I will not waste my precious vote on him.

All that goodwill he was able to stir in me had all but dissipated when he cast his lot with Team Unity, Team Arroyo (TUTA). His campaign line “Pag Bad Ka, Lagot Ka” rings so hollow and is so laughable that Pichay’s retarded “Itanim sa Senado” sounds brilliant in comparison.

Heck, his boss Gloria is as bad as they come and yet he rewards her with his affiliation? Heck he could have run as an independent. But no, the erstwhile maverick had inexplicably developed a yellow streak and traded his principles for campaign funds and machinery.

Should he win, fine. If a TUTA candidate should defile the Senate, then it’s better that the
least repulsive of them do it. If he loses, good riddance.

Obversely — I’ve always viewed Ping Lacson with askance. His involvement in the Kuratong Baleleng rubout was like a cloud that threatened to descend on our hard-won freedom and democracy. I shuddered, quite fearfully, when this former Estrada Police Chief was linked in case after case of human rights violation, the most chilling of which was the disappearance of Bubby Dacer.

All told, his reputation as a ruthless executioner did not sit very well with me.

That is why I never thought I’d say this BUT — I have found myself seriously thinking about whether or not to give him the last slot on my ballot.

It started when his name kept cropping up during conversations with my friends. The recurrent theme? Lacson’s strong anti-graft advocacy and how it is is making a lot of headway. Which, of course, got me thinking — whatdafuck are these people talking about? He had freaking blood on his hands, for crying out loud.

I wanted desperately to keep my notion of him as a hellspawn. But I have to admit — despite the countless times that this admninistration has mounted a campaign to pin
him down for his alleged crimes, they have so far managed to come up with diddley-squat.

Come to think of it, with all the money and resources and clout of the government, you’d think Gloria would nail him for at least one murder.

But I don’t know. I’m not certain yet whether I’ll vote for him.

What I’m certain is that no Spice Boy will ever get in my list. It’s quite easy — there are only two of them and both have shown an aptitude for at least one thing — kissing Gloria’s ass.

It wasn’t a difficult sell at all — I have succeeded in blacklisting both batang trapos among majority of my friends and almost 100% of my relatives.

Here’s my list. I need one more name.

    1. Trillanes, Antonio IV

    2. Cayetano Allan

    3. Escudero, Francis

    4. Aquino, Benigno III

    5. Bautista, Martin

If I have my way into your selection although everything is over but the shouting (after the proclamation), I will go for Lacson. I was angered by his temerity to pursue his run for the presidency without giving way to FPJ thus installing a cheater, his audacity in going against Gloria Arroyo and her evil forces all throughout made me vote for him this time. Unlike Angara & Enrile, he never wavered on his stand in casting his lot with the opposition,

  46. Chabeli Chabeli

Here’s something interesting about COMELEC Commissioner Rene V. Sarmiento:

“Sarmiento graduated Magna Cum Laude from San Beda College, A.B. Political Science, and was also given the Rector’s Award for overall academic excellence and outstanding leadership in campus activities especially in the field of Catholic Social Action.” (From the website of the COMELEC)

No doubt the man is intelligent, however, he used it for evil purposes – cheating. Sarmiento is also a human rights advocate.

  47. Chabeli,

Sad that such a man should now use his talents to advocate for the wicked.

But he chose his bed, he’s got to learn to sleep on it.

A man has 2 choices to make in life: the right or the wrong choice. If Sarmiento made the wrong choice, in this case boils to a bad choice, he should be man enough and must have the moral courage to accept the consequences.

In our country, sadly, we are saddled by so-called leaders, men and women who are lacking or do not possess the moral courage to face the consequences of their wrong choices in life.

I have not an iota of respect for these pathetic individuals.

  48. Those who refuse to face the consequences of their choices and who instead, continue to insist on taking the evil road, i.e., Gloria, Abalos, Esperon, and all of Gloria’s cabal of evils are vultures and hyenas.

Such individuals must be brought or put down, like we put down rabies infected dogs!

  49. Chabeli Chabeli

Amen to your comments, AdeBrux !

By the way, I heard that from Australia, Gloria is going to go to China & then to Rome. what’s strange is that she will not pass by or land in the Philippines before proceeding to China & Rome. Is Gloria avoiding the Philippines, by any chance ? She can’t take the heat in the kitchen !

Looking back at the political ads of the senatorial candidates, although I did not vote for him, I would like to be kind to Joker Arroyo this time because of his PAG BAD KA, LAGOT KA! I think it boomeranged to Mrs. Arroyo’s governance that’s why not one of her annointed candidates did not figured well in the race except for Zubiri who keeps popping in and out in the tailend but will be finally counted out.

  51. Chabeli,

Is that right? China and Rome? What on earth for?

Is she going to Rome to see how she can fix up her family assets? (By the way didn’t Elvira tell us that the mother bank of the German bank wherein Hose Pidal is alleged to have stashed stolen millions is a Roman bank?)

  52. skip skip

    Chabeli,

I was already in the precint when I finally made up my mind to vote for Lacson. In the end, it was his refusal to avail of his pork that did it. That, and his Pidal exposes.

I guess she is going to Rome to attend the Cannonization of the foundress of the Assumption nuns- this Sat. I just hope she does not malign the name of this nun. I hope Vatican will not give her a chance to talk kasi sabihin niya Presidente siya- and the Phil. is a catholic country). She is there not as a President of the Phil. but just a pilgrim who is a graduate of Assumption. To her co Assumptionistas- are you honored that she is from Assumption (from grade school to college)? What a product!

    What a “babaeng aso”!

Bantay Salakay ang Comelec. There’s no doubt that supposed to be an independent electoral body, the COMELEC is under the influence of Gloria Arroyo. Elections chief Benjamin Abalos is hell vent for massive and systematic election fraud in Maguindanao, Lanao Del Sur, Davao, Cotabato, Sulu and Basilan in favor of TU bets. Election officers and deputized cops and soldiers are helpless to stop vote-buying inside precincts. Minors were allowed to vote in Lanao Del Sur special elections. It may take a lifetime before election cheaters are punished. Philippines’ justice system is rotten and impotent. A known Jose Pidal pet dog Ombudsman Malditas Gutierrez cannot be trusted to uphold criminal justice and rule of law. It seems that Hello Garci boys and clones are untouchables. I think Filipinos will support “revolutionary justice” meted out against crooks in the Comelec. It’s not right to steal the true mandate of the people. Hang them high in one most expensive lamppost at Cebu Int’l Convention Center.
    Rope for Abalos, et al!

  56. TonGuE-tWisTeD TonGuE-tWisTeD

C’mon y’all, it was “successful” enough that we had rejected Gloria totally. 8-2-2 seen from Ka Enchong’s viewpoint coud have actually meant 12-0, a cleanup by oppositionists, although of different shades and hues – white defeated black!

Looking at this recent exercise in a positive light, we could safely assure ourselves that whatever doubts we had regarding the “masa”, the uneducated ones, the fence-sitters, whom we first thought would all sell their votes proved us wrong. The Pinoy voter has matured and after all those long years of telling them “accept the money but vote with your conscience”, it has finally sunk in. Hey, they did us even further by the phenomenal vigilance we never thought they were capable of.

While we celebrate with these victories, big or small, I couldn’t care anymore for those cheating-tolerant fools in ARMM who are still at it, they can only get the government that they deserve. But don’t come running to Manila because they’re hungry, sick, and unemployed. They have sold out on their own future, and that of their children’s, too. They had the chance to make it different this time, just like the rest of the country did, but no, they chose the old, easy and convenient path and lamely watched as their last hope for decent living was stolen before their very eyes.

While many of them are known for their dedication to Islam as the “religion of peace”, I cannot understand why they can blow yourself to pieces against their enemy but avoid a little suffering for the benefit of their family and community.

I pity their kind. They just missed the bus.

  57. TonGuE-tWisTeD TonGuE-tWisTeD

    Slip of the TonGuE:
“…I cannot understand why they can blow themselves to pieces against their enemy…”

  58. TonGuE-tWisTeD TonGuE-tWisTeD

I hate to say this, as much as I try to avoid any religious slant, but my question is: Will we allow the whole national elections to be held hostage because of a few Muslim warfuckinlords?

We’ve given them autonomy, that’s it! Let them vote for their own officials but the ARMM Governorship should be the highest post they could elect. Shall we allow a mere Maguindanao or a Lanao or Sulu to frustrate the elections for the whole of the country? Or a Rey Sumalipao, formerly a visitor of that house in La Vista, now ARMM Comelec Head, to dictate the results for all us voters?

No more Macarambons, Ampatuans, Akbars please. No more Garcillanos, Sarmientos, Abaloses, too. No more Gloria, finally.

  59. Rose: What a product!

What a shame- it seems to me that these two schools – SBC and Assumption failed to teach the ten commandments at kahit magna cum laude and valedictorian nila ay hindi na intindihan ang utos ng Dios. Baka absent lang sila noong itinuro.

  61. parasabayan parasabayan

Oo nga naman ano. What if Angara and Arroyo are trully opposition by heart but just because they wanted to save on their campaign monies, they joined the tiyanak. Sayang nga naman ang retirement savings nila. Then Honasan is really kontra Arroyo but he has to show that he is willing to work with the tiyanak because he still has a pending case. Ibang klaseng maglaro itong si tiyanak. She is downright dirty. Mr Sharon is leaning more towards the opposition too. Kawawa siya kay Sharon pag nagkataon. So, really, the Senate will be filled with all “opposition” sa totoo lang.

The fact that the uncounted votes are all coming from the supposedly rigged places where there were no real elections or where there are the “command votes”, namimiligro talaga ang mga nasa anim na puwesto ng magic 12. This may be how the tiyanak had designed this whole thing about the local elections. They made sure that the disputed places will be for the TUtas and that the votes coming from these places will be brought out the last so that the opposition will have no time to dispute the results. They will do the proclamation in the wee hours of the morning and all those who had been in the magic 12 will all be shocked big! ITO ANG SIGNATURE STYLE NI TIYANAK! TRAIDORAN TALAGA!!! This is why the tiyanak is going all over the globe so the Filipinos will think that she is not behind the election fraud going on now. But, the whole plan was conceptualized in the Fatso’s room at the St Luke’s and all the money distributed to all the cheats to insure the victory of the TUtas by hook or by crook. The only thing these cheats did not factor in was the vigilance and watchfull eyes of the people. But depending on how much money were distributed in Mindanao, the tiyanak and her operators may have succeeded in buying up all the votes in that region and this is what the four Tutas are expecting to play out in the next weeks to come. Smooth operators they are. This is why the dirty tiyanak is always out of the country lately. She wannts to be out of the kitchen. She will just come back when all the plan has been executed!!! This is the bogus President of the Philippines. Very brilliant indeed. Whether the Filipinos will continue to be deaf and blind is another story. We should all wake up and continue to be vigilant!!!

may masamang balak yan si mrs pidal na toh pag nasa ibang bansa, remember noong kasagsagan ng pagpatalsik kay erap eh wala sa pinas yan…iwas pusoy baga ginagawang ang mga pinoy…liar of all liars..

  63. Rose:

  64. Tongue,

“I hate to say this, as much as I try to avoid any religious slant, but my question is: Will we allow the whole national elections to be held hostage because of a few Muslim warfuckinlords?”

These warlords only happened to be Muslims, and I don’t think their being warlords has anything to do with their being Muslims. If at all, their being warlords has everything to do with wealth, which is quite omnipotent if seen against a backdrop of extreme poverty, as it is in Maguindanao.

Salamat din sa mga updates mo in previous threads detailing the race in Pasay. Somehow, I lost touch with politics in Pasay when I left the country in 1994 and the family moved back to my father’s hometown in Cavite. I grew up along Tengco-Zamora Streets. Ikaw?

    Enchong

  65. TonGuE-tWisTeD TonGuE-tWisTeD

Eksakto ka, Ka Enchong! Zamora Street ako, the block bounded by Taft Ave. and EDSA.

Pakamatay kami dito sa Pasay para mabokya ang mga TUTA, which to me was one big success, 9-1-2 with only Angara making the cut, partly because he is Trindad’s party president, tapos pag dating sa ARMM, wala namang nangyaring eleksiyon, babaliktarin ang resulta ng buong Pilipinas.

Agree! We must give those bastards NO QUARTERS! Things should be done right, NO EXCUSES! Don’t care for litte mercies either.

Time Pinoys became more demanding; don’t accept any more abuses!
