All our constitutions are custom made according to the whims of the power in being. Like now, everyone thinks our constitution is topsyturvy and no one here wants it fixed up. Everyone is afraid of the robber next door. Someone has to start it and asap. If what comes out is bad, then we move for its amendment again. Meantime, I give away small lots to the Muslim vendors invading us north of the border to add to their turf rather than have those lots taken away by the govt squatters.

    ….govt squatter proteges.

You want to negotiate a Peace Treaty with the MILF? Then negotiate and finalize an agreement in a Peace Tteaty or Agreement, but for the sake of the future of the country hundreds of years forward, don’t tinker the Charter just for that one item…That is a short term outlook for a very suspicious motives.

Bansang Moro Region need to get a life! Mindanao and any part thereof are part of the Philippines and will always be Philippines when we all are good and gone. Bansang Moro will never be a State, all the Pilipinos will see to it. Charter Change is not about the Bansang Moro, it’s about whore Gloria’s staying in power.

Ermita and Dureza can take a very long walk on a short pier…They know and we all know that there is nothing wrong with the present system of govt, only those corrupt people that’re governing the country now that don’t even have a clue how to run an honest govt, the like of whore Gloria, AWOL de Castro, and the corrupt cabinets, et al, that are creating the most un-necessary problems with their dishonesty, lying, stealing and cheating.

Just imagine, if Charter Change become a reality it will be the same players be running the country without check and balance. It will get even worsen, surely. Desperation time for whore Gloria, ending is inevitable, getting much nearer for whore Gloria’s comfort, kaya bina-baboy na talaga naman.

    Mass lay-off sa gobyerno
Nina Noel Abuel at Rose Miranda

    http://www.abante.com.ph/issue/jan0308/news02.htm

    tsk. tsk. tsk. tsk.

Ganid kasi! Sa amin iyan, marami nang nagpakamatay.

Kaya, arya sa pagbatikos sa mga magnanakaw! Tuloy ang laban!

Cha cha a never ending story of Mr. Trapo De Venecia, former Tabako and Tita Glo labandera.

Dapat munang resolbahin ang mga problemang kinakaharap nila since 2001 till present?

    Retrieved and copied from:
Unfinished business by MR. EXPOSE (Amb. Ernesto Maceda)

    01/03/2008

As 2007 exited, unfinished business and projects dot th
    e landscape.

    Among the glaring example:

    1. NAIA Terminal 3 still remains closed and unable to start operations.

    2. Self-sufficiency in rice has not been seen attained with rice imports now reaching 2 million metric tons a year.

    3. The decline in the quality of education has not been arrested with millions of children of school age not in school or have dropped out.

    4. Corruption has not been minimized. On the contrary, it has grown by leaps and bounds earning for the government the second most corrupt tag in Asia and for GMA the title of the most corrupt president of all time.

    5. Many communities, including parts of Metro Manila, still do not have safe, potable drinking water.

    6. The promise to create 10 million jobs from 2004 to 2010 is way off target with millions now leaving for overseas jobs. Millions of Filipinos are still unemployed.

    7. The search for Jonas Burgos, two UP coeds and hundreds of victims of forced disappearances is still fruitless.

    8. The “war” against smuggling reiterated yearly by GMA has failed. Smugglers continue to thrive, some of them becoming “legitimate” operators of malls, or owning condominium buildings and seen in Malacañang parties.

    9. The illegal drug industry continues to defy police authorities and flagrantly does its business in many street corners.

    10. Cases of graft against former Secretary Nani Perez, Comelec commissioners, AFP generals and senior officers and other high officials of government are still sleeping in the offices of the Ombudsman on the Sandiganbayan.

    11. Joc-Joc Bolante is still abroad and the fertilizer funds scam, as confirmed by the Commission on Audit reports, have not been acted upon by the Executive department, the PAGC or the Ombudsman.

    12. The ZTE broadband deal is still under investigation.

    13. The campaign to arrest the 130 Abu Sayyaf rebels who massacred and beheaded 14 Marines in Basilan is still ongoing.

    14. The all-out war against the New People’s Army (NPA) is bogged down by AFP/PNP corruption and demoralization with the NPAs raiding municipal buildings and police stations unresisted. Meanwhile, the peace talks remain suspended.

    15. There is still no closure on the 2004 “Hello Garci” election cheating scandal. A fake president is still in Malacañang.

Resolution. Speaking over Umagang kay Ganda program on Channel 2 and ANC cable TV, former President Joseph “Erap” Estrada confirmed to Anthony Taberna that if the six opposition “presidentiables” do not unite, he may be persuaded to run. After 9 1/2 years of poverty, pain and suffering, crime and corruption under GMA, it is unthinkable and unacceptable that a GMA surrogate will occupy Malacañang for another six years. The opposition should field its strongest candidate. Vice President Noli de Castro is no pushover.

While GMA is enjoying a leisurely six-day vacation in Baguio, Erap has been busy preparing 30,00 gift bags and distributing them to poor people in Smokey Mountain, Vitas, Parola, Baseco in Manila, Payatas and Pagasa in Quezon City and the San Juan resettlement project in Taytay, Rizal. Erap also took time out to visit the 79 kids at the Damas house in Paco, a project he rebuilt in 1999 after it burned down.

One thing sure, Erap has his big heart for the poor still in place and his desire to help them is stronger than ever.

Erap personally ordered assistant Evelyn Carballo to buy Jollibee hamburgers and spaghetti for the 79 Damas orphans. Attention, Tony Tan Kat Tiong. Tie down Erap to an advertising contract and use that heart-tugging merienda scene of Erap with the kids. How about sending some burgers to the kids once a month, Tony?

Prejudging. The legal issue on whether Erap can still run for president in 2010 will have to be tried and decided by the Comelec and the Supreme Court.

Commissioner Rene Sarmiento, the commissioner who suddenly resigned from the task force to investigate electoral fraud in Lanao and Malacañang, has surprisingly come out with a statement that Erap is constitutionally banned from running again for president in 2010.

That’s prejudging the case. When the case comes before the Comelec in 2010, he should then in inhibit himself.

Rumors are going around that Loren Legarda might soon join the administration. Hmmm…kaya pala tahimik siya ngayon. Hindi ako magtataka sa babaeng iyan. Her ambition to be the country’s top leader has been hanging for a long time now. Popularity and rating wise, mataas pa rin. We’re not sure. Sawa na ang mga tao sa mga babaeng pangulo ng Pilipinas (no offense to women).

Ok, Let us for the sake of argument the country needs a charter change perhaps for the betterment of governance, electoral reforms, judicial reforms, equality in distribution of wealth, but the Charter is The Supreme Law of the Land, and it needs a very Careful and Diligent Preparation that also requires the involvement of All Parties of Interest for the Future of the country not in just for the Short Term but 50 years or More in the Future. so the Question is Why Rush when there are so Many unresolved issues still on the Table…The 2004 election, the Garci Tapes, The NBN Deal, the Malacanang after Breakfast giveaways, and many more and not a single one of them been resolved to the public satisfaction…

I noticed from the past few years ang mga OFWs/Immigrants eh dedma lang sa pampulitikang usapin sa ating bansa kaya eh iniasa lang natin sa ating mga kapamilya ang pagpili ng iboboto.

  44. klingon klingon

I dont think its fair to say they — Cory and GMA — were bad presidents because they were women. They were bad president because they made bad decisions. Those decisions were not made because they were women. They were made based on their own experiences and based on who adviced them, who surrounded them, whose self-inerest was promoted at the time. Besides, I hardly think that Cory and GMA are even in the same league when it comes to protecting personal interests and corruption. GMA surpasses even Marcos!

  45. Agree Klingon! “were bad presidents because they were women. They were bad president because they made bad decisions.”

  46. Was Erap any better? Was FVR more honest?

  47. or less dishonest?

  48. rose rose

klingon: you are right it is unfair to Cory..for one thing she didn’t wish to be president but she was duly elected and she followed the wishes of the people..She made a number of bad decisions because she was ill advised…Cory was not ambitious..but at that time the country needed someone to unite..kaya lang people like Enrile, FVR took advantage of her being politically naive..In goria’s case however, nangagaw siya…wasn’t it said that Erap has not resigned and she already was swore in by Davide…Then she said she will not run but she did (at mabilis pa) nangdaya para mabilis..Ang sabi nga Woman is fickle all false together..that is exactly what she did..And to lead a country? with so many lapses of judgment..ay ay kalisud!

  50. Rose,

But New Hampshire is around the corner — seems to me that early on in the game, Hillary was aware she might be thumped in Iowa, hence the focus of her efforts was New Hampshire. Her defeat in Iowa could resemble Bush v Reagan scenario decades ago when Reagan placed 2nd to Bush in Iowa but ended up winning party nomination.

A new year of our kababayang OFWs and Immigrants/Citizens worldwide to unite and to stand united against GMA regime and to all Trapo/Balimbing politicians now holding gov’t positions and/or elected last 2004.

Use our resources, like during Rizal’s time di ba noong nilimbag ang NMT eh ginastusan yan ni Dr. Mixomo Viola ang librong isinulat ni Gat.

dapat siyang kasuhan ng obstruction of height limit!

  53. “one month lang tayong di magpadala ng US$?”

That will surely dent this enchanted kigngdom’s “economic boom”…

  54. balweg balweg

    Hi AdeBrux,

Kumusta na! Recharged again, tuloy ang laban!

OFWs con Immigrants against GMA regime, maganda bang pakinggan?

Kailangan natin ang masusing pagpaplano to halt our padalang US$ once and for all, ito na ang tamang panahon to voice out our saloobin sa gobyernong Arroyo.

  56. Valdemar Valdemar

50% of OFW dont care what is happenning around here.
60% cant afford to miss installment payments on the house, on the loans, etc.
What about the school money, text money, hi-tech money, etc
Besides 80% are not with the opposition.
5% cant dent so much the economy by not sending home money. And what is held one month will be sent next month anyways. The foreign exchange might even go worst if they dont send promptly. Seamen dollars are collected in country every month. That leaves the dollar scheme a futile idea.

  57. balweg balweg

    Hi Valdemar,

    Happy 2008 to you.

  58. balweg balweg

Baligtarin mo man ang mundo ang aim ng mga iyan eh to separate from GRP and form their own country.

    Payag ba kayo?

  59. rose rose

AdB: You are right. I just got so excited about Obama’s winning.. and it was not the primary but simpoly a caucus.. because it is an indication of the people’s desire for change..if Hillary wins..it is still for a change..first woman president.. but would she be as strong or stronger as M. Thatcher to lead a country? And Huckabee, the evangelical presidential hope to be also won for the republican..again an indication for change…intereting.
sana sa Phil. ganoon din..it so frustrating to see FVR and Erap sounding off to run..pinaglalaruan lang nila ang politics sa atin..so with GMA..pinaglalaruan lang nila ang mga tao…as though it is just a game of “spin the bottle”. Nakakadismaya!

  60. balweg balweg

    Hi Rose,

    Happy 2008 to you!

Uncle Sam political wannabees have guts and decency in their lives, but compare to our politicians most of them are trapo, balimbing and corrupt.

  61. chi chi

    Balweg,

Huwag mo ng isaman si MV at EV. Si Among na lang!

  62. balweg balweg

    Chi,

OK! Si Among Ed na lang for President sa 2010….i wish na magmaterialize ito.

God willing gamitin siyang instrumento to lead our nation against the power of darkness now working in our midst.

  63. Rose:

I’m excited, too, about Obama’s Iowa Caucus victory, because I am not keen about Hilary Clinton and I do not like Edwards.

My folks are traditionally Republican but I’ve been anti-Bush since I can remember. The old man was a pest, and the younger one IMHO the worst president that has ever had.

Romney is a member of our church, and was a return missionary from Europe (France, I guess) but a lot many members of our church who are anti-war are disappointed in him for his support of hawkish Republicans and ambivalent stand on Iraq when the truth is they have no business being there and trying to take control of Iraqi oil.

With Obama as president (I don’t know if he will win but it’s possible with more than half of US voters Afro-American and non-white), hopefully, we can travel again in style, no more of those plastic cutleries, unlocked baggages, etc. Kaya baka lalong mag-abuso iyong mga itim. Heaven forbid!

  64. Yuko,
Si Huckabee, evangelist din diba? Pero napanood ko sa You Tube, aba, tumutugtog ng bass guitar at ang piyesa, “Freebird” by Lynyrd Skynyrd. Naki-jam pa sa isang blues band among other videos also in YouTube. The same tactic employed by Bill Clinton to reach out to the young voters.

  65. Yes, Tongue, Huckabee, according to him, is an evangelist, but with a lot many false prophets now snaring the faithful, we cannot be sure that this man will lead the Americans to heaven!

One thing sure is that Romney did not get any endorsement from our church even when one of his kins was a prominent member of our church hierarchy because we firmly believe in the separation of church and state.

My mother is voting for whoever will be chosen by the Republican to run for president. The rest of my siblings, I understand, are venting their anger on Bush by voting for the final Democrat bet in this year’s election except when Hilary is put in the helm or they stick to the Republican bet.

Ayoko sanang makialam but I have a lot many things at stake over there being affected by any wrong choice of president of the US of A.

  66. Si FVR, less dishonest? Sinong may sabi? Please, huwag naman kayong magpatawa!

  67. rose rose

Yuko: many are against Obama kasi he is Afro..so what..is the choice of presidency based on color? or race? I am not a registered democrat..but if he runs for the primary I will switch just so I can vote for him as candidate..kung hindi man siya lalabas as candidate I will vote for someone else..I too am not keen about Hillary..
..what I can not understand sa Phil. is out of the many millions of intelligent Filipinos, not one of them is a man of God or a righteous man? I don’t mean mga pari..they should be out of the political race..hindi naman kailangan pari or ministro para maging man of God or righteous man..We don’t need a politician but somebody like Thomas More..basta maki Dios. Wala ba? When Fernando Poe run a fellow Antiqueno asked me why I liked him..hindi daw nakatapos ng High School… samantalang si Goria ay may doctorate…ang sagot ko gwapo siya..si Goria ano? Napatawa na lang..

  68. chi chi

    Rose,

Well, pati ako napatawa sa sinabi mo why you liked FPJ. E ang tatay ko nga tinanong ko rin why he went all the way to campaign for FPJ, sabi ba naman e malapit raw ang bahay nila sa bahay ng pamiya ng Da King dun sa Q.C. noong araw at mabuti raw pamilya. Besides, he was an adopted son of Bataan.

  69. Valdemar Valdemar

    Balweg,
Good morning. There’s not much qualms if the dollar receded because malaki pa rin ang kinikita unless the OFW families would like to live up with the Joneses. Dapat may sariling garage sila.

National politicians and their leaders always promise our muslim broders some perks including the bangsa moro eternal dream. Now its time to collect again but theres the constitutional block always. Kaya hayan, naloloko lamang sila as usual. Malapit pa na puntahan sakali ng mga OFW natin as a stepping stone out. Wala naman mawawala sa akin. Laluna sa mga umalis na ng Pilipinas.

  70. “Why Rush when there are so Many unresolved issues still on the Table…The 2004 election, the Garci Tapes, The NBN Deal, the Malacanang after Breakfast giveaways, and many more and not a single one of them been resolved to the public satisfaction… – vic ”

I agree. Unless we can resolve these issues, we cannot hope to have “genuine, disinterested, constitutional amendments.” And when we find closure to the Garci tapes issue, the detained officers will be vindicated, let the truth be heard and accepted in this country for once, we owe it to ourselves!

    *****

Sinabi mo pa, Rose. Remember how she looked like when her father was the temporary occupant of Malacanang? I never ever heard anyone saying that the Dorobo was cute. 😛

  72. Rose, si Obama talagang Afro-American. Kenyan ang tatay niya at American ang ina. Laking Indonesia iyan sa totoo lang. Hopefully, he will not emulate the bad examples of Bush na ginagaya ni Gloria Dorobo.
