We express our support for truth and justice. As members of the Armed Forces of the Philippines who have sworn to defend the Constitution and protect the Filipino people, we refuse to be cowed into silence and submission by a leadership anchored on thievery and deceit.
The events that transpired during the elections in 2004 have brought so much shame in the collective conscience of the AFP. A cabal of a few criminal elements in the Armed Forces led by Mister Esperon has wrought so much misery to our country and people. The silence of the majority reinforced this misery. There will be No Esperons, No Abaloses, No Pidals, No Garcias, No Bolantes, No Garcillanos, No Bedols, No Neris if only there were more Lozadas.Engr. Jun Lozada has broken the chain. And by doing so, he has been liberated. Our Armed Forces, whose chain of command has been used to cheat the people, lie to the people and oppress the people, has lost all its moral claim as protectors of the people in the eyes of whom we seek to serve. It is now time to break that chain and liberate the Filipinos. In the words of Mr. Lozada, “let us keep whatever is left of our souls”.
To the Filipino people, we are one with you. Your aspirations are also ours. Your dreams are also our dreams. Your actions may well be ONE.

Obstruction of justice raps filed vs Arroyo, 14 execs
President Arroyo and 14 other top government officials have been charged with obstruction of justice before the Office of the Ombudsman Friday for their alleged efforts to prevent a witness from testifying in the Senate inquiry on the botched broadband deal.
In a radio dzMM report, lawyer Romeo Capulong of the Public Interest Law Center said the respondents had allegedly conspired in order to prevent former government official Rodolfo Lozada Jr. from appearing at the Senate.
Aside from the President, the other respondents facing charges of obstruction of justice with motion for immediate preventive suspension are Executive Secretary Eduardo Ermita, Environment Secretary Lito Atienza, Commission on Higher Education Chairman Romulo Neri, Deputy Executive Secretary for Legal Affairs Manuel Gaite and his staff Marcelino Agana IV,
Philippine National Police chief Avelino Razon Jr., PNP-Police Security and Protection Office’s Chief Superintendent Romeo Hilomen and Senior Superintendent Paul Mascarinas, Presidential Adviser for Special Concerns Remedios Poblador, Aviation Security Group’s Roger Valeroso, Angel Atutubo and Octaviano Lina of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport, former Environment secretary Michael “Mike” Defensor, and lawyer Antonio Bautista.
Capulong said although Mrs. Arroyo could not be suspended by the Ombudsman pending the investigation on the complaint other high ranking government officials do not enjoy the same immunity.
Capulong said his group believes that Mrs. Arroyo and her officials had allegedly committed an illegal act because of the Lozada incident.
He said the group will bring the complaint to the Supreme Court if their allegations are proven.
Lozada flew to Hong Kong on the same day he was expected to give his testimony to the senators, prompting the Senate to order his arrest.
After several days, Lozada went back home but after emerging from the plane, he said, he was greeted by four unidentified men who escorted him out of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport.
Lozada said during the hours that he was reported missing he and his escorts drove around Laguna and Cavite. Fearing for his life, he said he texted his brother to tell him that he had been abducted.
The police confirmed that they were holding Lozada but they maintained that they did so only upon the latter’s request asking for security detail. The government said he was later turned over to the priests and nuns of La Salle Greenhills in Mandaluyong City as Lozada had requested.
A day after his reported abduction, Lozada surfaced and held a hastily called press conference where he revealed the alleged irregularities in the broadband deal. Lozada tagged former election chief Benjamin Abalos Sr. and First Gentleman Jose Miguel Arroyo in the controversy.

SC stops govt warnings vs airing of Garci tapes
The Supreme Court on Friday granted a petition stopping the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) and Department of Justice from warning television and radio stations from playing the “Hello, Garci” wiretapping tapes.
Voting 10-5, the high tribunal said the NTC cannot give similar warnings in the future because it is prior restraint. The majority decision was penned by Chief Justice Reynato Puno.
SC Spokesman Midas Marquez said the decision does not mean that TV and radio stations can play the tapes.
“The court said warnings issued by DOJ and NTC is a form of restraint against free press and free speech. This does not mean that the tapes can or cannot be aired. The issue settled was the restraint on media,” he told radio dzMM.
He said it is up to the discretion of the media if no laws are being violated by playing the tapes.
The “Hello, Garci” tapes contain alleged wiretapped conversations between President Arroyo and then elections commissioner Virgilio Garcillano during the 2004 presidential poll. In the conversation, Mrs. Arroyo allegedly ordered Garcillano to protect her one million vote lead over rival Fernando Poe Jr.
The tapes sparked one of the worst crises faced by the Arroyo administration, which culminated in two failed impeachment attempts against the President.

Grizzy, it was not an information from any source about outcome of the rally. It was merely my opinion. Sa tagal ko nang pagtutok sa mga nangyayari sa bansa na ilang dekada na din, talagang napansin kong walang gaanong pagkakaisa ang mga opposition at mga tao…and this could have partly caused the not so significant size of the rally. Of course as I previously mentioned, hindi nakapasok sa Metro Manila ang mga gustong mag-join mula sa province kasi hinarang ng mga sundalo. There are many different groups from the opposition today that even if they have one common goal to oust GMA, wala silang masyadong tiwala sa isa’t isa. I’m saying this based on facts. For example, most militant groups still do not agree and accept Erap’s pardon. Do you think this sit well with the Erap fans who are composed mostly of the poor masses. The elite Black & White are composed of upper middle classes; do you think the militant groups and the poor gladly accept these wealthy personalities? Sa ngayon kasi, may ibang agenda din ang mga Kaliwa. Kahit sinong leader ng bansa tutol sila. Kasi ang ipinaglalaban nila hindi lang corruption kundi pati ideology na pilit nilang baguhin sa bansa. Again, they may have a common goal of ousting GMA but behind this goal are different agendas and reasons of their own. Iyan ang isa sa dahilan kung bakit hindi masyadong solid ang outcome ng rallies lately.
BTW, do you think the 9,000 people who attended the rally is a significant number? Please don’t get me wrong; I’m just a bit disappointed again. Sa akin lang, kung hindi man lang 100,000 eh kahit 20,000 man lang. May kulang talaga. I’m not criticizing. The organizers must sit down and work this out. O baka kulang sa pondo. Let’s face it…a big rally needs lots of funds. Noon kasi, maraming malalaking business at negosyante ang nagpondo ng mga rally. Ngayon, maingat na sila hindi lang dahil mahirap ngayon ang pera kundi hindi sila sure kung saan tutungo ang mga ganitong activities. Looking ahead, I think we have all reasons to pursue this fight to end a tyrannical regime because of the ff:
1. Like in 1986, we now have a face of Good vs. Evil. The Good is of course, represented by Lozada against the Evil represented by GLueria and her Cabal of Plunderers;
2. Like in 2001, we now have the face of the Professional who saw Erap signing for the Jose Velarde account. This face is again in the person of Lozada himself;
3. The Revolutionaries of ’86 and 2001 have learned their lesson that they should not settle for something less than the resignation of the the Fake President and her Vice-President, who both benefited the Garcinous 2004 COCs.
I can’t help also but to contemplate on a scenario of a Lozada Presidency. Why not? I mean, he has conquered evil within and without himself, and is able to preserve, against the “norm”, his idealism, as opposed to the presidential hopefuls whose idea of good governance is as clear as bunker oil. He has now developed within himself an “antibody” against self-inflicted or externally-induced corruption.
But i give more consideration to the fact that he is an Engineer – something we haven’t tried yet, and the qualification by which our movement are advocating for. Besides, he is, by all indications, a capable administrator.

Dept during the time of Doctor Pulido..matalino ang kapatid ko sayang nga lang she died quite young..nagtataka lang ako sa gaya ni Neri..I don’t consider Gloria as a true alumna of UP..I was enrolled in UP but I got sick so I had to drop out..

Iyan ang hirap sa lahat ng grupong iyan. Kahit na sa hanay ng grupo ni Erap, may mga hindi din nagkakasundo. If they all continue to do this, I’m sorry to say that GMA would not only last until 2010 but even beyond that. I honestly estimated the crowd to be in between 25,000 to 30,000 based on the knowledge that I know on crowd control when I was still in the service. Contrary to Police estimate na between 6,000 to 7,000 daw lang ang dami, malaking kasinungalingan na naman ito. Sa number lang ng police on hand, around 1,000 na, military infiltrators at mga intelligence operatives siguro another 1,000, do you think sa dami ng tao na halos hindi ka na makahinga eh, 4,000 lang iyon? Mga gunggong at sipsip talaga itong mga problema na pulis (PNP) natin. Anyway, Bayan, umpisa lang ito. Sa Linggo another round with Tita Cory as the spearhead. Tuloy tuloy na ito, trust me . . .

Eddfajardo, I place the crowd at a little over 10,000. Binilang ko isa-isa pero hindi ako natapos kasi dumilim na…he, he. My friend, if you’re familiar with crowd estimate, mahirap malaman iyan considering the PNP, curious onlookers, shoppers and those going to their homes were there. Tulad noong Edsa Uno na may isang million daw pero kalahati doon curious onlookers lang na napasama. At isa pa, puro galing sa Metro Manila na tinawag lang ni Cardinal Sin sa Radio Veritas. Iyan ang laro naman…sa panig ng administration, sasabihin nila na maliit lang ang numero at tayo naman sa opposition naniniwala tayong mas higit pa. The reason they couldnt kill Lozada and was driving around Metro Manila for 5 or 6 hours is because they were waiting for orders from the Dorobos as to what to do with him.Apparenly it was a last minute scramble to take Lozada from the airport and orders were not complete…Thank God the Media was around and was able to spread the news of Lozada missing.The Media did a good job…

Natakot siguro that her visit there will trigger the full withdrawal of support for Dorobo. The PMAers reaction to her could have been the signal for the genuine coup Filipinos have been waiting for. Sayang may nakapag-tip off siguro kay Assperon, and so the Al Qaeda hoax.

Kailan ba naging political players ang mga military lalo na sa PSG? I remember during the time of Col. Erwin Ver, he never gotten himself involved in politics despite the negative publicity against his father, then Gen. Fabian Ver.

one thing about the opposition during erap’s time was that they stuck to the constitutional way of removing erap – through the impeachment trials.
nagkataon lang na bobo si Erap – he lost the congress and fell for the “second envelope” trap. think about it – ano nga bang damning evidence ang laman ng second envelope? WALA. it was a worthless bank statement, incapable of impeaching erap.
mas matalino si arroyo – binuhay nya si Lozada. imagine kung napatay si Lozada – no matter who killed him, the blame would fall naturally to the administration.
I just came from Baguio to attend our PMA class homecoming. These are the things I found out:
1. There is no assassination threat to Gloria.
2. The threat comes from Gloria’s fear that a display of disapproval of some sort regarding her leadership might be shown by the graduates.
3. That there were in fact many graduates and visitors ready to “BOOOO” her.
4. That there were some “Gloria Resign” posters ready to be unfurled.
5. That Gloria is in “deep shit” considering the talks going the rounds among the classes.
6. That Esperon is “sinusuka” na talaga.
7. The few Gloria lapdogs point to esperon as the albatross in so far as the military is concerned.
8. Something is “boiling” and “brewing”
9. Again, Gloria is in “deeeeeppp Shitttt”

When I was in Mindanao last month, I was talking to the tricyle drivers, Skylab and Habal-habal operators in Davao del Sur, Koronadal, Banga, Surallah, etc. Many of them want to go to North America because of the problems in the Philippines, like corruption and peace and order in Mindanao. Ang sabi ko hindi, pupunta na lang kayo sa Internet Cafe dito sa South Cotabato at gumawa ng comments para malaman ng Pinoy here and around the world. Si Elvira Sahara alam na alam niya ang Habal-habal at Skylab sa New Banate in Davao del Sur. Ang sabi ng Ilongo doon sa Lake Sebu ang meaning ng Mala-canang (mala is dry in Ilongo – simula ng kanyang pag-upo sa Palasyo).
