It is so true that we have the best manpower skills in the world, sought after by first world countries. But due to limited opportunities, we export these resources. We are lagging behind in all aspects of governance. We seem to only be good in one and only one thing-CORRUPTION!
If we have to always change our leaders to effect change in governance, so be it! There should really be tougher laws to put a leader in jail when the leader errs! This way, the people do not struggle to oust anyone who has mismanaged our people and our resources. No more ERAP style- nakakulong nga sa resort naman niya sa Tanay. Na-convict nga only to be pardoned the next day! Para bang ang hirap tanggalin ang CORRUPT na Presidente!

The doll above reminds me of the Cory dolls being distributed by the DOT to tourists thinking that it would appeal to the them.
What the idiots did not know then was that there were people who would not want such dolls that looked more like the Japanese “wara ningyo,” or dolls used for casting a spell or curse. Over here they were/are actually made of straw from hay.
Those dolls did not click. Sayang ang nilustay na pera sa mga manyikang iyon that looked more to me like those wara ningyo. Ang sarap tusukin! Sana meron din si Gloria Dorobo niyan na may mahabang ilong para matusok din! Truth is I used the Cory dolls as cushion for my sewing needles and pins!
