    ellen,

  2. bitchevil bitchevil

I humbly propose that the first agenda your group could work on is to demand anti or pro Arroyo individuals to be brave enough to tell the truth and not to back track any statement they have made. First, Sec. Arthur Yap must admit that there’s a rice shortage. That’s all he needs to do and people may still understand him. Second, outspoken critic Archbishop Cruz should not deny his own statement. After vocally announcing on nationwide TV that he would not offer GMA communion for being a public sinner, Cruz now denies it and explained he was taken out of context. Come on Cruz…what happens to you? My respect for you is diminished after your denial.

Ellen, this group is a welcome development. I strongly suggest that you do research and continue to document all the anomalous and disadvantageous deals, contracts, transactions of the Arroyo Administration which would then be used after she is out of power.

I am wondering whatever happened to the “courageous” reporters of PCIJ. During Erap’s time they were so relentless in coming up with reports and articles about Erap and his family which eventually led to his ouster.

But right after GMA was installed, PCIJ continued to exist, but its former relentless, courageous pursuit of truth has ceased to exist. They concentrated on stories about officials and personalities at the lower echelon of the bureaucracy and society.

Is it because PCIJ, being an Ayala funded firm has lied-low on investigating issues concerning GMA and her family? Or is it because they accept that since GMA is part of the elite, it is alright to keep a blind eye on her?

Sobra yatang kita ang bias ng PCIJ! Pag di kauri, tulad ni Erap, kailangan bitayin, kapag ka-uri tulad ni Evil Bitch, pwedeng palagpasin.

I hope and pray that Ellen’s new group will continue the pursuit of truth and to document all the sins of Arroyo Administration.

Ellen, may your group uncover the truth in all the anomalous activities of this regime. You are our only hope in unearthing all these! More power to your newly formed group!

  5. Ellen,

I believe you are in good company especially Booma & Yvonne who did an extensive in depth report on pork barrel and the lousy electoral system. Hoping to see more of the same kind of reporting that truly informs the public unlike the ones dished out by the ATM Journalist.

There is a possibility that the “comrades” of Gloria will do it right if the corruption is exposed on both sides, the only problem is how to get those vital facts and info to show readers what really transfire in those backdoor negotiation.

The soft loan given to “comrade” Gloria’s administration is a start which is unlike what the western financial institution is giving to us with so many strict requirements this one is so looose that it is open to fraud.

On another note did you know that Gloria is gaining more supporters and popularity go check it out.

  6. Tongue, Luz and Yvonne are no longer with PCIJ. Yvonne teaches journalism at UP while Luz teaches at Ateneo.

  7. Valdemar Valdemar

I wish congress use this blog a must reading for their references. And even the administration offices. I am sure there are good ideas profounded by the bloggers all over. They should be grateful their shady projects and clouded plans have critics sometimes that help them with tangible improvements.

  8. Vera Files puts out in-depth authentic articles on current issues and welcome story suggestions. The public’s right to know being a fundamental need, the birth of the group is worthy. It would supplement the vast mass of citizen journalists who are not always realistic.
Presuming the group has outgrown the tendency of journalistic muck-raking, I initially offer these seminal topics that impact Filipino interests:
    On health — Food’s role on preventing chronic disease, water’s role in hygiene and sanitation, preventive medicine (a banana a day) as public health policy;
    On energy — energy conservation vs peak oil, nuclear vs clean renewable energy;
    On Rice self sufficiency
On Filipino hegemonies — burgeoning Orwellian government, suffrage reform

  9. andres andres

  10. andres andres

    Pedestrian Observer GB,

What do you mean that Gloria is gaining more supporters and popularity?

I was really surprised, after the ZTE and other scandals, how on earth can she rebound?

Every Filipino knows how corrupt and insincere the Evil Bitch is, so it is impossible for her to be popular.

  11. Andres,

awww, I don’t want to reveal why and spoil the fun, lol….. it’s a joke but true, Gloria Arroyo is really gaining more supporters and popularity. Check out the Cebu inmates who will dance to the tune of Gloria in support of Gloria and against Jun Lozada daw for his remark against their beloved cardinal Vidal.

So you see it makes sense that criminals stick together and I think they asked Gloria and Mike to be their lead dancers…… ok that is not true but if we really keep at it it just might happen….. cheers

  12. irene irene

    Andres & Pedistrian Observer GB,

  13. andres andres

    Pedestrian Observer GB/irene,

O my gosh! I didn’t get that one! Haha! Bumagal ata ang pick up ko ah! Hehe!

You are right, these prisoners idolize GMA, cause she is the ideal criminal! She commits crimes, she rakes in billions in taxpayers’ money, and gets away scott-free!!!

GMA and Mike Arroyo are now the Philippine Prisoners Idol!!!

  14. Elvira Elvira

    Ellen,
Have checked the Vera files. Kodus for thinking of one. Am impressed that there are more courageous women journalists who are out to FIND n FIGHT fo the TRUTH!
You know, we, the non-journalists, are just behind you!

    Pedestrian Observer;
Got curious after reading your comment on this Evilbitch gaining popularity. Agree..but in a negative way! Hik, hik, hik! Let’s follow the Pidal family’s tract record on raking the taxpayers money!

  15. Mrivera Mrivera

    he he he he!

    yehehehey!

another achievement of a great liar and cheat!

  16. chi chi

Congratulations to the newly-formed media group Verafiles and the courageous women behind it who are NOT Glueria Macapal Arrovo Pidal. Way to go, verafiles women!

  17. chi chi

Next time, Mike and Gloria Pidal will demand that zombies and worms dance macarena for them.

    bakit walang boys?

    nahihiya ba silang mabansagang ahay?

  19. P.O: Gloria Arroyo is really gaining more supporters and popularity. Check out the Cebu inmates

    ******

May kasabihan, “Birds of the same feather flock together!”

The Philippine Star is owned by Gloria hatchetman
Belmonte and Antonio Abaya of Standard (owned by
Enrique Razon who, according to Neri, is the ZTE funds
handler). These representatives of “civil society”
views are at the forefront of the unrelenting campaign
to confuse the nation and the youth about historical
truths, especially in the cases of Marcos and Erap
Estrada, who both had timely, appropriate and
necessary programs to serve the welfare of the people.
In the latter’s case, they should now concede the
Kangaroo nature of the Teresita de Castro Sandigan
court by the circumstances of her Supreme Court
promotion and her current pro-Gloria voting record.

  21. Ellen,
I am honored to be included in the Vera Files Blogroll. Though I feel I am not worthy, being included feels just great. Now I am pressured to update my blog more often, heheh.

    Thanks.

Malacanang just announced that it is now willing to cooperate on the extradition of Joc Joc Bolante. Quite surprising considering the current rice crisis. But let’s not be deceived by this Malacanang latest ploy. If Jocjoc is extradited and he returns to the Philippines, the Senate would not be able to extract any new information from him because he would be ordered by Malacanang to invoke “Executive Privilege”. Why does Malacanang now agreeable to his return just after the Supreme Court ruling favoring Neri?

  23. I agree with you bitchevil. I said it before, Joc-joc will be allowed only if they’re sure he is beyond the reach of the Senate.

If the US allows this, it confirms the US is in cahoots with this evil bitch.

  24. bitchevil bitchevil

The timing is suspicious and disgusting to say the least. Why agree now after the SC ruling? It indeed appears that Malacanang, SC and the US are in cahoots.

  25. MR, a lot of men are helping us too. Our lawyer is Harry Roque. His young associate, Atty. Romel Bagares has been very patient in helping us get started as far as making our group’s existence legal.

We will also be working with some male journalists in the future.

  26. Tongue, I’d like to borrow your surfing GMA animation. It doesn’t work. How do I do it?

  27. bitchevil bitchevil

Let’s congratulate the recent Bar Topnotcher, a certain Ono or Ona from Ateneo. May she start her law career helping the needy and the oppressed. May she not be tempted to join the Malacanang crooks especially at DOJ. Better still, may she join us in this crusade…join Roque and the other human right lawyers.

  28. irene irene

    bitchevil/tongue-twisted,

Just like what’s happening now.

  29. bitchevil bitchevil

Good point, Irene. I also noticed that trend. Malacanang covers up a scandal with another scandal. If there are too many scandals to investigate, people get confused and tired. Look at the “Hello Garci” and even that Jose Pidal scams. They seem to have been covered by dust now. So far, not even one culprit is brought to jail. Where’s Garcillano? Gen. Garcia, mastermind of the AFP Finance scam, is still to be sentenced. Where’s he?

  30. Ellen, I’m not familiar with wordpress. But you can do it by trial and error. Just make sure that the file extension of the output is “.gif”. Will email a working file.

  31. bitchevil bitchevil

Cong. Suarez and his gang plan to bring Archbishop Cruz’s case to the Vatican. They want to complain about his politicking.
Why did no one ever complain to Vatican about the late Cardinal Sin who caused the ouster of two legitimate Presidents?

  32. pingping pingping

my story got published in vera files (see jalosjos)..and i am a male…thanks to mam luz and mam ellen
