  1. I wonder if the Philippine Textile Institute of the DOST coordinated with BFAD if the materials used are HYPOALLERGENIC?

  2. I don’t know how that smiley thing appeared in no. 8 of first version.I’ve been trying to delete it. It refuses to go away.

A beauty expert said on tv :”Reduce Gloria’s gel on hair” for SONA speech..Adds to “kapalastikan?

Joeseg says (import ko from cocoy’s blog):

    SONA is:

    S-ame
    O-ld
    N-onsense from
    A-dministration

    SONA also means:

    S-oaring prices
    O-bjectionable contracts with foreign governments
    N-on stop extra judicial killings
    A-bject poverty of the masses

    ***

Kaya Duraza is redirecting people’s attention from SONA’s lies to Gloria’s GOWN.

Only in Gloria’s time when the SONA is equivalent to GOWN!
    Pinas…forward to perdition!

    Ellen,

You’re hacked. I submitted 3 comments and got “sorry, no post on this”. Ngayon lang ako nakapasok.

    Hmmmnn, may budget na naman!

  6. chi chi

May gel at wala si Gloria, pareho din…tupperware pa rin!

  7. Yan, nawala na.

  8. Hi Equalizer, I was trying to post a comment in your blog, it keeps on saying wrong password.

Anyway, since you are polling presidentiables, I’d like to tell you that in the website of Sen. Trillanes, they have a poll on presidentiables. Check it out there: http://senator.trillanes.org

  9. I joined the poll already, my bet from among the list was way below, then again, it’s still early.

  10. This Dureza statement is really funny. They are making fun of her!

  11. Jug, don’t tell me you voted for Noli de Castro!

Bakit may fashion show ba sa Batasan? Kahit ano ang gawin ni Gloria Arroyo, ang suma total peke at mandarambong siya.

  13. Are we going to allow Gloria to get away with Cha Cha and extend her reign indefinitely?

  14. bitchevil bitchevil

Of course no ! But how do we stop her is the question.

  15. ellen:

It is in the Constitution. Will post how tomorrow. It will not need the “help” of the Supreme Court.

  17. chi chi

I already voted early this morning (sa Magdalo at kay TE).

  18. bitchevil bitchevil

Atty, you might be basing on the SC’s decision on Erap’s ouster or even Marcos’ ouster. But, it is a different SC today. I don’t think today’s SC follows the constitution. SC follows Malacanang.

  19. langhab langhab

this reminds me of the fairy tale, The Emperor’s New Clothes

  20. I can’t understand how the gown of the idiot can be gauge of progress of the Philippines under her reign when everybody knows that it is not her gown but the OFW remittances that bouy up the country’s economy and even her bad taste in fashion now! What a crap indeed!

  21. Ellen,

No, never Noli de Castro! Actually I voted for Dick Gordon.

  22. This Dureza statement is “other-worldly,” where is it coming from? Mars? There’s so many critical issues here and they talk about a “gown?”
Personally I’m not concerned about the gown but THE THONGs, I heard CK daw (which is quite expensive, I saw the prices in Podium). Those who have high visual imagination skills beware, you might vomit any moment now!

  23. Sorry jug, mali ka. I can endure the sight or thought of even the most…….kwaaarrrkkk….haah.

    Tama ka pala. (Tubeeeg!)

Teka, ipinagmalaki pa ang PTRI, ha. While our neighboring countries are researching nanotechnology, biotech, and other highly-advanced fields, DOST remains primitive.

Our textile research is so backward they do not even have a telephone line in the building! It is in the same compound with MIRDC (Metals Industry Research and Development daw pero pinauupahan lang pala sa small factories yung facilities nila) wala ring telepono samantalang pagtawid mo ng kalye sa Upper Bicutan nandon na ang Main Bldg. ng DOST na naka high speed fiber network (daw) at may sariling broadband backbone (daw!).

Aside from these, DOST is into food processing tech where several years and millions of pesos of research has not produced technology that will allow us to transport mangoes and bananas to the States in their raw state without rotting after the month-long ocean voyage.

  24. Other-wordly indeed, Jug.

I forwarded Dureza’s text to a friend and she texted back,”I’m now convinced they really need a shrink.”

  25. Chabeli Chabeli

I am more pissed off at Gloria than ever before after listening to her SENSELESS SONA. If her purpose in her SONA was to show that she cares for her people, I am sorry to rain on her parade, but it was not believable at all ! She doesn’t have the look, much less the face, or voice for that matter, to play the part of being so concerned about the Filipinos.

As compared to previous SONAs, Gloria barely had any make-up (notice how her eye bags were so noticeable !), wearing only earrings & even her nails were not painted. It was soooooooooo studied. If her spin doctors thought that by Gloria looking kawawa, she would get the sympathy of the people, they are mistaken. No matter what the spin doctors try to do at this point, Gloria’s broken credibility cannot be salvaged anymore ! The recent polls taken by the SWS, Pulse Asia & Ibon Foundation reveal that majority of the people HATE GLORIA. That is her reality. That is the true State of the Nation !

  26. chi chi

Gloria is beyond repair no matter how made-up she is. That’s why I can’t fathom why Chiz Escudero is playing footsie-footsie with this woman who has -38 credibility. It’s a big minus for the neophyte senator (or inherent tradpol?) who has the ambition of leading this sick nation of her ninang.

  27. chi chi

Gloria has two more years at the helm, assuming the desperate passengers do not chuck her overboard. At the rate the ship of state is leaking and heading for the rocks, we will soon be back to where we started, washed up on the shores of hopelessness. – Malaya editorial

  28. The burning effigy of the ugly pResident Evil in a plane while the ship of the Philippines tipped over was a very fitting tell-all scenario of the decrepit state the country is now suffering, no matter how under-dressed (in a P600-per-meter fabric?) the thick-skinned idiot in the podium is, while her half-hour, hollow credit-grabbing even included the cellphone networks’ 3-month promo as one of her own accomplishments!

A first-class loser. I should have called her a moron, but it would be most unfair to al the stupid people!

  29. Grabe ka Tongue. In Strictly Politics, we are thinking of taking up that issue of lowered text cost for tonight. I hope we can assemble a good panel.

  30. Uyyy! This means yari na naman yung staff na nag feed sa kanya ng text cost good news na yan! How many times has Gloria shot herself in the foot because of wrong information? Ilang beses na yata…

  31. Chabeli: If her spin doctors thought that by Gloria looking kawawa, she would get the sympathy of the people, they are mistaken.

    *****

Now wonder they centered on the comments of the brain damaged Senator, who talked about the midget’s “teary eyes” (daw) while addressing the nation! What a lousy attempt indeed to get sympathy for the cheat!

As for the lack of make-up, Chab, I don’t think so. She was still heavily made-up but I guess the make-up artists of some moviemaker were hired to make her look kawawa if we can believe the news report that the actor son had a lot to do with the props for this performance of his mom. Buti na lang wala namang bumili, not even those paid to clap at her every pause, including Nograles. Nakakasuka ang pagmumukha ng isang iyan din! Grrrrrrrrrrr!
