Malacañang statement on SAF’s role in 2004 election fraud cover-up

Golez shrugs off report on 2004 Presidential poll fraud

“Don’t believe in the baseless allegation, but, instead, respect the decision of the Supreme Court.”

This was the reaction of Deputy Presidential Spokesperson Anthony Golez to the claim of a certain police officer that irregularities were committed in Batasan in connection with the 2004 presidential election.

“(At) huwag po tayong maniwala sa mga sinasabi ng ibang tao dahil nagsabi na ang SC. Mayroon ng ruling ang SC, ni isang balota, ang sabi ng SC, wala silang na-prove o wala silang nakitang ebidensiya na nagkaroon ng pandaraya,” Golez said.

Citing the SC ruling, Golez pointed out that justices of the High Court did not see a single vote of a presidential candidate having been switched or transferred to the winning candidate. “Wala silang nakitang pandarayang ganyan,” he added.

The SC had officially ruled that the President won in the 2004 presidential election, he said.

When asked if Malacanang was ready to face another move to question the SC ruling, Golez said the President would rather remain focus on improving the economy, helping the poor, and addressing the problems brought about by the high prices of oil and basic commodities.

While expressing puzzlement over the motive of the alleged new election fraud witness, Golez said Malacanang is not bothered at all by any renewed attempt to revive alleged irregularities in the 2004 presidential election.

“Well, ang nakikita po natin na matagal na, mage-election na sa 2010, ano ang intention ng lumalabas na iyan, dapat iyan ay noon pa lumabas, nung naghahanap ng mga ebidiensiya ang SC,” Golez said.

  1. This means that Malacanang is reading your article, Ellen! Wow! As for the SONA with the idiot saying, “RP survival depends on VAT.” “Over my dead body” daw. Wow! Who is she to say that?

She reminds me of boastful Koizumi. His rating went down when he said that Bush was right to attack Iraq. But unlike the garutay in the Philippines, he stepped down. His successor likewise did the same when his rating went down, too, and his was still in the positive 38.

  3. Yah, magaling sa katarantaduhan!!!

    “RP survival depends on VAT.”

  5. The Little Red Riding Robin Hood of VAT defends the VAT:the source of funds for political patronage for charter change!

Arroyo: ‘We need VAT to survive global crisis’

Ungas! You need VAT to survive your very self!

This is a sick, sick nation! Now, I tend to believe the late Max Soliven when he said that the country suffers a “national karma”. It is collective in a sense that the kapinuyan does nothing but to wait for the ‘stars’ to fall. Pathetic!

Respect the Supreme Court’s decision? Because SC is now owned by the Evil Bitch. Why don’t they remind Senator Enrile to respect SC’s decision? Enrile recently said SC made a mistake in not allowing second hand vehicles to enter the country. Enrile’s statement was as a result of the discovery that his Cagayan territory, the Free Port, smuggles second hand vechicles. It’s being operated by his son-in-law. As usual, JPE vehemently denied it. He reasoned that it was precisely why he placed his son-in-law to monitor the Free Port to prevent smuggling. What an excuse? Already caught and still denying. The foreign car exporters were the ones who exposed this when they visited the Cagayan Free Port, area owned by Enrile. The Senate would investigate it and his colleagues asked Enrile to inhibit himself. That’s what happens when you get too much power from the Evil Bitch…

  9. b/evil,
The bitch didn’t get the audience she wanted in New York in that $500 per plate dinner. The businessmen that attended were those who already have existing interests here. No new faces. They had to call in Pinoys from Manhattan and Jersey to fill the tables for the free dinner, I’m told. (Just like the previous Europe trip, the Zuellig main man had sponsored a dinner for investors but apparently, no one was interested.)

A perfect getback response to show Pandack who’s the real boss. Now they’re pushing it further, they mount an offensive against Enrile and no need to guess whose side the bitch has taken since it is obvious, she needs the Americans more than any of her bootlickers.

This issue isn’t over. The game has hardly begun.

Enrile like Miriam has been lording over the government for too long. He’s old. It’s time for him to hang up his gloves.
What does he still need? His two children, Jackie (now congressman) and Katrina are all well placed.

  11. BD,

That’s reason enough for old Enrile to sipsip to the inutil. Pare-pareho na sila.

I feel sorry for Enrile. What a waste of talent! Sayang siya, and so do the others.. But then, it is for that very same reason that a lot many talented Filipinos opt to leave the Philippines and try their luck elsewhere.

Truth is we were not actually hard up, but we left the Philippines anyway. Now, with all the news about Filipinos now eating garbage—mas mabuti pa siguro ang kaningbaboy—my mother thought now that it was probably Divine providence. But she said, even during WWII, she never heard of Filipinos eating food meant for pigs.

So, anong sinasabi noong Golez na credit it to the wisdom of Davide that Gloria Garutay is there acting like she is now the sole owner of the Philippines? Hmmmmmmp….ang sarap murahin!

  12. I didn’t watch the SONA but I saw in the news she was patting herself on the back (figuratively, of course since with arms that short, she can’t do it physically) for bringing down the cost of text messaging which the moron said was a “way of life”. From P1 per, it is down to fifty cents.

I looked at yesterday’s papers and yes, it looked like the 3 cellphone networks did grant her request BUT looking at the fine prints, it was written at the bottom of the full-page ad: “This promo is valid until October 22, 2008“.

BWAHAHA! BWAHAHA! Pathetic loser!

  13. Tongue, thanks for pointing this out. We are thinking of taking up that issue of lowered text cost for tonight’s Strictly Politics. I hope we can assemble a good panel.

  14. Whatever happened to just saying simply “No, there was no cheating in the elections” why does this administration quickly say “there is no evidence” or “go to the courts” and lately “go to the SC?”

  15. So that’s the reason why SAF was reportedly involved in plans to withdraw support from Pandack Omama. Because they had first hand knowledge of post-polls cheating ops. I didn’t get the connection back then since SAF was part of PNP and not of the AFP.

But why isn’t Franco in jail like his mistah Gen. Miranda?

  16. bitchevil bitchevil

Not to offend the Capampangan, Franco could be a cabalen…that’s why.

  17. Gabriela Gabriela

  18. bitchevil bitchevil

Golez together with that Fajardo are two nincompoops. They have replaced Mike Defensor as the Evil Bitch’s spokespersons…experts on lies.

  19. Just looking at Golez you already get the impression that he will always be up to no good. I doubt if he can win any government position unless appointed…

  20. Tongue,

Sponsor niya siguro iyong mga kompanya ng text messaging that’s why the plug in.

Yuck!

  21. bitchevil bitchevil

Grizzy, Enrile was actually already into smuggling of cars during the time of Marcos. If you meet him, ask him about a certain Peter Co.

  22. Kaya nga hindi makahirit e kasi maraming nakatagong bungo sa aparador (literal of the skeletons in the closet).

Frankly speaking, I never liked the political system in the Philippines. Ang dumi kasi especially with all those babaero and lalakerong mahilig magpasikat at mag-amu-amohan sa Pilipinas like you know who.

I hated politics and reason why I was not keen on Political Science, but simply took it as part of the curriculum in college. Political awakening ko talaga sa Japan. At least, dito, I feel fulfilled getting involved in networks for better governance.

  23. Respect the decision of the SC daw? Pakisabi nga sa Golez na iyan, “Tell it to the marines!” Gago!

  24. vic vic

And when did the SC becomes the Trier of Facts??

  25. Jake Las Pinas Jake Las Pinas

  26. True, Vic. This Anthony Golez is really weird.

  27. bitchevil bitchevil

Weird indeed. If not, why is he shaving his eyebrow?

  28. I saw Golez once in HEAT, EDSA Shang, right in front of me lining up for the buffet with a “spaced out look on his face,” seemingly undecided if he wants to get the grilled lamb or not, I wanted to say “hoy gising, marami pang nakapila dito!” buti na lang he moved forward…obviously the guy has a lot of things on his mind…

    Quotes for Golez (and Neri)…

“aanhin mo ang gwapo kung mas malandi pa sayo”
“walang matinong lalaki sa malanding Kumpare”
“wala nang hihigit pa sa malansang isda, kundi ang isang baklang balahura”
“Sa hinaba-haba ng prosisyon,, bading din pala ang iyong karelasyon”
“ang tumatakbo ng matulin may gwapong hahabulin”
“Matalino man ang bading, bakla parin”

  29. bitchevil bitchevil

I wonder if this Anthony Golez is related to Rep. Golez of Paranaque. Incidentally, Rep. Golez’s brother was just promoted as Navy Chief. Was it to make Rep. Golez, one of GMA’s critics, happy? If he changes his tune, then we would know.

  30. And he is always calle “Doctor” Golez. The spokesman, I mean. Gradweyt siguro ng VetMed.

    Doktor ng kahayupan.
