It’s sad…very sad. Instead of fighting against foreign enemy, we see Filipinos killing one another. No one to blame but this Evil Bitch. How many young officers have been killed because of this senseless war?

Today, it has been discovered that those who composed the negotiating panel from the government side were fake. Fake in the sense that they were not really authorized to negotiate. The MILF side was fooled. It was confirmed by no less that the Solicitor General who told the Supreme Court that the government negotiating panel had no authority even if the MOA was signed. Imagine that?

  2. Chabeli Chabeli

The MILF should head toward Malcanan & fight with the one who got them into this mess; the one who gave them false promises; the one who gave them false hopes. The Filipino people, or even the Christians, did not start this war. Gloria started this war.

Let’s make the CHANGE we can believe in. Oust GLORIA !

  4. bitchevil bitchevil

minkay, the military claimed the rebels were already gone when they captured the camps. How could it be called “capture” when the rebels voluntarily vacated the places?

  5. PSB PSB

BE, heh, heh, heh…I thought of the same thing. How can one say captured when the camp is empty? They captured the “cows” etc and the arms the rebels want to leave behind. anyway, these arms will be resold to them at a later date by the same “sodiers” who found them.

  6. PSB PSB

This region had always been a source of “funding” for the administration from international sources( anti-terrorism kuno), electoral cheating and now this latest MoA almost changed the constitution to benefit the whore pandak.

  7. PSB PSB

There are so many factions in Mindanao. Couldn’t the local officials, for the sake of peace in the region, band together and start studying the issues of this century old war and come up with local solutions? Why do they wait for the Manila based leaders who do not know anything about the locals except to have their own egenda to exploit these
groups (MILF, MNLF ABUS and the list is endless) and milk the funds for this endless war?

I sense that NO ONE has a genuine solution to this war because everyone has to have “SOMETHING” for themselves in order to put an end to this huge problem. These rebel groups may just be used to leverage on issues that may benefit whoever is more powerful. This can mean nations who are interested in the region for strategic starwars, exploit the rich mineral deposits or simply for political gain as obviously done with the creation of the aborted MoA.

Power goes hand in hand with responsibility. You can’t have one without the other. Even if Aling Gloria is a fake president, she holds the power over everybody. So in the case of Mindanao whatever happens she can not wash her hands and escape responsibility by finger pointing to others. It is her total responsibility. But as everybody knows, she has that propensity of blaming others but herself whenever something bad turns out. She views herself as a portrait of perfection and she believes that she is just too good and infallible to commit mistakes. So just wait and keep guessing where the ax fall this time.

  9. bitchevil bitchevil

florry, the Evil Bitch never washes her hands…not even her ass.

  10. Toney Cuevas Toney Cuevas

I believe the soldiers are fighting the wrong enemies of the people. As I see it, the real enemy that causing all the killing and suffering is whore Gloria and incompetent pigs. Instead, the soldiers should turn their guns 180 degree north, toward Malacanang instead.

  11. Valdemar Valdemar

Why not give all the responsibility to the MNLF. Give the entire country to them. They might have a novel way to run the country. Lets give back to them the nation they knew before Spain spoiled everything. No need to panic becuase the surrounding nations are always interested to get a cut of the country should the MILF abuse their rule.

  12. Valdemar Valdemar

I meant the MILFs or the Bangsamoro administration.

  13. Rose Rose

  20. Attorney Efren Castro, nasaan ka na? Tagay ka naman dito para masaya tayo.Hehehehe!

Nobody oppresses the Muslims in Mindanao more than their fellow Muslims – the political warlords and the lawless armed groups who are foisting the bogeyman of Christian “colonizers” as the common enemy on a hapless populace they deliberately leave to wallow in ignorance. Look at the Muslims living in Luzon and the Visayas, or even in northeastern and southeastern Mindanao – they are doing well, they practice their faith without prejudice, and they live peacefully with their neighbors.

I saw the pictures of the Ilaga group in GMA news..To hear them talk of how they would fight gave me the creeps..They are from Panay Island and now are farmers settled in Mindanao..I am from Antique, and I would not be surprised if there are Antiquenos in the group..ibang klase pala silang lumaban…Piss to Gloria!

  24. Jake Las Pinas Jake Las Pinas

  28. The government especially our president should be transparent in all its plans and negotiations so as not to harm the innocent people.

Pandaraya!

    Tagairaya,
The wars in the south that I know of started with land disputes. One smart aleck in congress started titling lands including town plazas. His titling machine included his own henchmen at the Bulands. He sent his people to harvest the copra and of course the relatives who owned shot at the harvesters. Of course the congressmen reported the outlaws are harming his constituents. The govt sent the first marine war contingent but were massacred at Seit. Why? The marines made love to the lasses near camp. That infuriated high command so they sent in more expeditionary forces. So the war is a continuing exercise and the locals change in many colors. To learn of the stories, one must be there. There are two kinds of people there. The losing party becomes the outlaws.

Anong transparency?

Italy to pay $5 billion to Libya for colonial rule

    Source: Associated Press

In return, the European nation wants crackdown on illegal migrants

BENGHAZI, LIBYA — Italy agreed Saturday to pay Libya $5 billion as compensation for its 30-year occupation of the country, which ended in 1943.

Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi and Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi signed a memorandum pledging a $5 billion compensation package involving construction projects, student grants and pensions for Libyan soldiers who served with Italy during World War II.

“It is a material and emotional recognition of the mistakes that our country has done to yours during the colonial era,” Berlusconi told reporters at the airport on his arrival.

In return, Italy wants Libya to crack down on the thousands of illegal migrants smuggled to Italian shores. Libya largely hasn’t delivered on pledges over the last few years to eliminate the problem.

Rome is also keen on increasing its already long-consolidated energy ties with Tripoli. Libya is a big supplier of natural gas and oil to Italy.

She is a shame to this administration! Moreover, did you hear what she said on tv? …”gusto ko na umuwi na…” -Shame on you, Agnes!!!

Nabasa ko sa Abante Tonight, that Gloria was elected? voted? chosen? as #41 in the list of Most Powerful Woman in the world ng Forbes Magazine.

Adebrux, it is hard to say, the Philipiines can claim some sort of compensation from the U. S. government because we have been and still is recieving some sort of “aid” since inception of our socalled commonweath status. However, the occupation of Libya by France and that of the Philippines by Spain runs parallel to each other. There is that possibility but dont hold your breath about it.

For now, I believe, the gesture of France is to say let’s do business together. Libya, Kuwait, Iraq up to Iran has the best oil quality…which means cost of production and refining would cost less and increase the bottom line.
France was one of the worse and cruel colonizers inspite of the fact that after their revolution they adhhered to the doctrines of the humanistic movement.

I still believe up to this time that England with France who dominated the Middle East at the turn of the century erred in dividing the desert lands among bedouins and nomads and assigned who would be their rulers. Israel has to fight for their little space and is still struggling to hold on to it. My openion…..

    DAILY TRIBUNE’S HEADLINE NEWS, DECEMBER 23, 2007

Protests were raised yesterday over the government’s plan to hire an American lobby firm to spruce up the image of President Arroyo before institutions in the United States. When asked why the hiring of Covington and Burling LLP would cost the Arroyo government some $50 million for six months, which according to Roxas is expensive, Apostol was evasive saying he doesn’t know anything about it.

A year or so earlier, the Arroyo government was discovered to have engaged an American lobby firm Venable LLP, at a similar cost of $50 million, to primarily raise funds and support for Mrs. Arroyo’s campaign to change the Constitution. The signatory for the country was National Security Adviser Norberto Gonzales, who, when summoned by the Senate to explain why US funding was being sought for Charter change in the country, a business solely of the Filipinos, the NSA refused to divulge the terms and conditions, as well as scope of the Venable Lobby contract. The details of the Venable contract were never made public by Malacañang, although it was pressured to rescind the contract. It was not publicly known whether the Philippine government had to pay $50 million to Venable despite the cancellation of the contract.

This Forbes Magazine’s annual listings between world’s richest and powerful women are very inconsistent. Why? To be in the list of world richest people in the world, this Forbes Magazine have to do research about the individual’s sources of wealth. If Forbes Magazine found out that the sources of income is from illegal means, i.e. drug dealings and smuggling, that person is automatically disqualified from the list. That should also applies to the list of powerful women in the world. Why? This bansot came to power illegally by coup d’etat and stolen the presidency of FPJ in 2004. That bansot should be disqualified on the list of powerful women.
