Hindi interesado ang publiko sa kung anong listahan ng kanyang mga nagawa. Hindi utang na loob ng taumbayan sa kanya ang mga ginawang kalsada o mga tulay. Pera natin yun. Kumita pa nga ng malaki ang kanyang asawa at mga alagad sa mga proyekto na yun.
Kapag nag-iisa-isa si Arroyo ng mga construction na nagawa ng kanyang administrasyon, ang nasa-isip ng taumbayan ay ang male-maletang pera na hinahatid ng mga contractors doon sa opisina ng kanyang asawa sa Perea st. sa Makati.
Marami ang namatay dahil sa kaswapangan ni Arroyo ng kapangyarihan. Ilang buhay ng mga sundalo ang nabuwis dahil sa kanyang palpak na policy sa Mindanao?
Ilang Overseas Filipino workers ang namatay sa maltrato ng kanilang amo sa ibang bansa. Itong mga OFW ay kailangan sumuong sa malupit na kultura at lipunan dahil wala silang makain at makuhang trabaho dito sa Pilipinas.
Kahit gaano pa kahaba ang listahan ng sinasabi ni Arroyo na kanyang nagawa, yan hindi sapat sa buhay ni Marlene Esperat na pinatay dahil sa kanyang pagsiwalat ng P728 milyon na fertilizer scam – ang paggamit ni Arroyo para sa kanyang kampanya noong 2004 ng pera na dapat ay para sa abono ng mga magsasaka.
Multuhin sana siya at ang kanyang mga alagad.
Kahit siguro sasabihin ni Arroyo na bababa siya, marami pa rin ang hindi maniniwala dahil marami na beses na kasi siyang nagsisinungaling.
Pagkatapos ng SONA ni Arroyo ay pupunta na siya sa Amerika para makipagkita kay Pangulong Barack Obama. Noong Biyernes nagrally ang miyembro ng Concerned Citizens Movement sa harap ng U.S. Embassy para iparating sa pagitan ni Ambassador Kristie Kenney na huwag supurtahan ang plano ni Arroyo na pagpalawig ng kanyang termino.
Sabi ng abogadong si Harry Roque na sina sa convenor ng CCM na susulat daw sila kay Obama at naka-usap na ng isa sa kanilang miyembro si US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi na para personal na ibigay kay Obama ang sulat.
Maraming haka-haka kung bakit pinapunta ni Obama si Arroyo sa Washington D.C ngayon.Nandyan yung para daw sabihin na huwag siyang magkamaling magdeklara ng martial law.
Nandiyan din ang baka hindi na raw babalik sa Pilipinas si Arroyo at bibigyan ng asylum doon. Sana totoo yan.

MediCare and MedicAid are social programs, Social Security and Supplemental Security Income are tied to socialism, programs which are/were in effect even before Obama was born. Vic, I just have a short comment on what you said about Obama’s poor choice of words regarding that Harvard Professor Gates’ arrest by the Canbridge Police. Obama’s comment was not only of that of a President but an African-American who understands how the blacks suffered on the hands of these White Trash for so many years.
Prof. Gates was already inside his home. That white cop asked him to step out. He knew that the man could not be charged for disorderly conduct while inside his own home. When Gates came out of his home and protested, he was charged for disorderly conduct and handcuffed right outside his home. All these happened just because of a 911 call from a neighbor who was a white woman.
What is disorderly conduct? Did the professor commit an act that was harmful to the public? And when this case was blown up in the media that involved the President, the Police immediately dropped the charges. Why did they drop the case if they have sufficient evidence to charge the Professor.
Let’s face it. Racial profiling and racism are still rampant in America. I think I can say the same thing in Canada, according to my Canadian friends.
For somebody who is “supposed” to have been “invited (????)” to the White House, I find it really amusing that she would only be given a 20-minute audience with the POTUS himself, BHO. I-istirin na naman tayo ng bugok na insekto na ito. SHE INVITED HERSELF !! Obama just wants to play FETCH with one of his pet allies.

I don’t know if you agree that fellow Filipinos are also prejudiced and racist. The regional conflict still continue these days. Ilocanos against Kapampangan…against Tagalog…against Bisaya…etc. When a fellow Pinoy meets you abroad, the first thing he usually asks is from what province you come from. And if he finds out that you come from the same place, the rapport is automatic.

Still, non-white Canadians are treated differently than the mainstream. Canadian passport holders are indeed visa exempt to many countries; but recently Canada requires Mexicans to apply for visa before entering Canada. Mexico used to be visa exempt. What if Mexico retaliates by requiring Canadians to apply for visa too?
