Rogue June 2010

Rogue June 2010
Rogue magazine asked me to write about the May 10 elections. I have not bought a copy of June 2010 issue yet but it looks interesting. As usual the cover is fantastic.

In this issue, “The state of the nation” by Jose Marie Ugarte, Quintin Pastrana, Annie Deen, and Katrina Lagman, “Who’s afraid of Winnie Monsod?” by Vanni de Sequera; “14 things you didn’t know about the next president” by Noynoy Aquino’s chief of staff Julia Abad and personal secretary, Mai Mislang; “Political Dirt” fromthe diaries of Ferdinand Marcos, Salvador H. laurel and FB Harrison; plus many more.

And of course, my article which they titled, “The last word on the elections”.

Roque is a glossy, classy, informative magazine in the style of GQ and George.

Ellen, this one looks interesting. It would have been more if you have posted here what Rogue magazine published.

Come on, Ellen, why not post it here so we can read your article without buying the magazine?

Geneva Cruz is still my favorite sexy girl ………..

Since it’s showbiz magazine…chika lang din. Why ABS-CBN is offering Bong Revilla Wowowee hosting Job. ABS-CBN is very instrumental sa pagkapanalo ni Noynoy by showing the life story of Ninoy and Cory…ano na naman ba balak ng ABS-CBN after six years they will have another artist na magiging VP (?).
This Bong should serve his country through making laws ano yan aalis tuwing tanghali sa Senate mag host muna siya.

Hay Showbiz nga naman buti na lang maganda yun babae sa magazine ng Roque.

  6. Yung babae yata sa cover e may bahid politika din. Diba yan yung apo ni ex-VP Doy Laurel?

  7. Yes, Tongue. She’s Denise Laurel.

Many of the articles in Rogue are political. I saw one issue with a lengthy article on Supreme Court Justice Antonio Carpio by Marites Vitug.

yes there is that Laurel feature in her ……

  9. I didn’t notice it earlier, Ellen. It’s your article on the header pala. Congrats.

Bad trip kasi, I’m using this old CRT monitor na dark ang display. Anyone knows where I can get my LCD monitor repaired? Nanghihinayang akong itapon na lang basta.

  10. I also didn’t see it at first, Tongue. I’m flattered naman that they made it the header.

I hope to get a hard copy tomorrow when I go to National Book Store.
