Walang akong ituturo -Michael Ray Aquino

Thanks to Inquirer for the photo.

“ That’s the truth and nothing has changed since then. Then and now, I still maintain my innocence.”

Dagdag pa ni Aquino,”Gusto ko pong malaman ng sambayanang Pilipino na wala pong utos sa akin si President Joseph Ejercito Estrada o si Senator Panfilo M. Lacson to kidnap, harm and/or murder anyone specifically Mr. Salvador Dacer and Mr. Emmanuel Corbito.

Statement of Michael Ray Aquino:

I look forward to proving my innocence

Bago po ang lahat, gusto ko pong pasalamatan ang Poong Maykapal, ang aking pamilya at ang lahat ng taong tumulong at sumuporta sa akin for the ten most trying and challenging years of my life. You know who you are. Maraming salamat po sa inyong lahat.

Lawyers who were assisting me in my pro se case in the United States advised me that I have strong grounds to appeal to the Supreme Court the decision of the United States Court of Appeals allowing my extradition to the Philippines. After consulting with my family, I have decided that it would be best to let the extradition process take its course. I sincerely believe that this is my opportunity to clear my name, prove my innocence and finally put to rest all speculations about me.

Being falsely accused almost a decade ago for a crime I did not commit was not at all a surprise to me. What is tragic is that my family was not spared. My wife and son were regularly flagged down and harassed every time they left our home. Dumating pa yung panahon that my innocent son, young as he was then, began trembling, as if having anxiety or panic attacks, every time he saw uniformed police officers, and vehemently refused to go inside Camp Crame.

At that particular point, I knew I had to make some very painful decisions in life. I sacrificed my career in exchange for freedom; uprooted my family and went on self-exile; and pursued other goals. I feared not the prosecution but the persecution, and for the safety and security of my family.

I was interviewed by the media ten (10) years ago and I categorically denied any knowledge of, and participation and involvement in, the alleged Dacer-Corbito case. That’s the truth and nothing has changed since then. Then and now, I still maintain my innocence.

Moreover, gusto ko pong malaman ng sambayanang Pilipino na wala pong utos sa akin si President Joseph Ejercito Estrada o si Senator Panfilo M. Lacson to kidnap, harm and/or murder anyone specifically Mr. Salvador Dacer and Mr. Emmanuel Corbito.

Finally, I would like reiterate to everyone that I am now ready to face my
accusers and to prove my innocence. I just hope and fervently pray that this time around, my guaranteed Constitutional Rights to due process, to have an honest-to-goodness preliminary investigation, to a speedy and public trial, to have the compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in my favor, to present controverting evidence, to have the assistance of a counsel of my own choice, to enjoy my rights to remain silent, and to exhaust all available legal remedies would be respected and safe-guarded by the authorities concerned.

Salamat po ng marami. Diyos ti agngina kanyayo amin. Daghang salamat sa inyong tanan.

I still think that it is a former president before Erap who had a hand in the twin “murder”. But thats just my opinion.

“I look forward to proving my innocence.” ??? (is this a direct quoted statement from Michael Ray Aquino?

I thought the law is all about proving: :”I am not guilty.”

Because the law says: “Innocent until proven guilty.”

Can you explain how Michael Ray Aquino can “prove his innocence.”????

Let us stop the “bodabil”. And I suggest this is best done by not even covering his tawdry vaudeville. Useless chatter.
    lang ito.

Aquino was in jail in the USA…so ang opening statement of this article claims…”Sa kanyang statement pagdating niya dito kahapon ng umaga mula sa sampung taong paninirahan sa Amerika.” This is at best…partly correct and accurate only. He did live in the USA, (maybe even as an illegal alien, together with Cezar Mancao), until he was indicted, tried and found guilty of “conspiracy-espionage” with another Pilipino-American, ex-marine, ex-staff to Vice President Cheney of the USA…So, what’s the deal about…”nanirahan si Michael ng sampung taon”??? Nakakulong siya sa preso ng USA. Please, lang. OK?

This man has been found guilty of crime in the USA. And has been indicted, like his boss, “Ping,” the “Baker”, “71” (some of the aliases that Ping Lacson has used and as recorded in the court records in the USA), of many other crimes, in the Philippines.

This article “Blames GMA”, again for the charges against Michael, as if…

Now that he is back sa Inang Bayan, let us see (challenge) the POPelek Pee Ngoyngoy…”Aber, sige nga, tignan natin naman ang gilas mo…Mr. POPelek, AGCC (Against Graft, Corruption and Crime)…and, while at it…”Ano, Mr. POP PeeNgoyngoy, Ililibing ba o hindi sa Libingan ng mga Bayani?”

Teka, maiba ako ng usapan, saan nakalibing nga uli si Dr. Jose Rizal…the first and only official NATIONAL HERO of the Philippines???? Hala, bira, Kris. Tulungan mo ang Kuya mo. Sobra na ang kalat.

On another note, Tabloid reporting is acceptable.Masaya nga ang Tabloid…kung nasa lugar. But SUKA (Suck Up, Kiss Ass), tabloid or broadsheet noise reporting is not acceptable…lalo na the kind that thrives, as it seeks the lowest level of “blocktiming”, “yellow journalism”…and out and out mindsetting propaganda designed to inveigle the public towards…panay allegations, way namang prof.

Let’s get some solid facts…then hammer the interpretations to death, if desired…And facts are simply defined – in Philosophical terms – What is..and in real terms…What happened, what is happening.

And the facts that are irrefutable and undeniable are:

    1. Dobol murder was committed. Dalawang katawan proved that.

Aber? Hindi ba fact din ito?

    4. Yung suspekted and indicted mastermind na si AWOL-fugitive senator Panfilo M. Lacson ay pinawalang sala…ano ang basis nito: “Did he also prove his innocence”

    5. Fact to be in the days to come: Aquino will be declared by the court…innocent? (kasi, that is what he wants, hindi ba…to prove his INNOCENCE…)

Is there any difference between being judged not guilty; judged innocent; or judged not innocent (but not guilty)?????

    Noblesse oblige,

    Pepeton

  3. Nakalimutan mo yatang inumin yung gamot mo.

Nurse, paki-suot nga uli yung straitjacket.

  4. I made some corrections in the article. Ely Pua pointed out to me, Michael Ray Aquino’s son is into baseball, not foot ball.

    Mea culpa! Halatang Azkals fan.

  5. Mike Mike

Just learned in the news that Jo Ramos, the daughter of former Pres. Ramos passed away due to cancer. Condolence to Pres. Ramos and family.

  6. tru blue tru blue

“1. Dobol murder was committed. Dalawang katawan proved that.” pepeton

A tricky assumption but you got it right, even Weelie R will get it…wink!

  7. vic vic

it seems that michael ray aquino already started his campaign for a senate seat…and he will find good company in that hall of distinguished men and women…

    1. Dobol murder was committed. Dalawang katawan proved that.-pepeton

Pray tell me,where are the bodies?

  9. andres andres

Though its not the right time, i agree with Mike #1. Mukang may kinlaman si Almonte.

  10. I think I just got a headache trying o read Pepeton’s post, bottomline, he just wants to say “Gloria pa rin!” 🙂

  11. I hope Dacer and partner will surface soon, tama na ang good time, na “good time” na nga ang mga pinoy.

  12. parasabayan parasabayan

  13. Becky Becky

Mukhang hindi busy si De Lima.

  14. There are leads and clues much much more compelling than Mancao’s testimony. Ba’t ayaw sundan?

Yesterday, I posted a comment on Inquirer’s editorial on the same subject, linked John Marzan’s old blog entry, asked questions that no one there dared ever ask yet. What do you know, I get a red flag -27 which means my reputation as commenter is rock bottom negative. http://opinion.inquirer.net/7043/blind-alley#IDComment167748854

    WTF!

  15. ricelander,
i noticed the same thing, they’re banking so much on mancao’s testimony, “an overheard one” at that. what about the “bones” or supposed remains? did they look into those?

  16. Jug, ipinagtataka ko lang, how the hell did I get that -27p red flag. So far, that’s just the third comment I made on Inquirer over a long period of time and on all, they were pretty tame and civil, as always (haha). Dating kasi parang you are flagged down early on as a commenter of bad reputation, and all readers are better forewarned not to take this one seriously.

  17. Ricelander, I tried contacting Fr. Baldostamon in Sweden but the email address that I got was not correct. My email returned. Still finding a way to contact him.

    How about snail mail?

  19. I don’t know, nakakaumay na nakakaasar na kasi. I’m no big fan of Lacson nor Estrada but for the sheer absurdity and audacity of it all, this one assaults common sense in a screwy, in-your-face way. As a human being na kahit papaano naman e may utak, honestly, I feel gravely offended…
