Wahab Akbar

Update: Not-so-great Basilan solon laments link to atrocities

Thanks to Newsbreak for posting the speech of Basilan Rep. Wahab Akbar last Tuesday.

I’m recalling this story told to me by a high-ranking military officer involved in securing the release of the Sipadan hostages during the term of President Estrada.

Robert Aventajado, personal representative of Estrada for the negotiation on the hostages, was to go up to the lair of the Abu Sayyaf in the mountains for a meeting with the leaders, Abu Sabaya and company.

It was discussed that the presence of numerous soldiers with Aventajado was not advisable as it would only contribute hostility to the atmosphere.Akbar offered his own men to secure Aventajado in addition to only two military men that would accompany the president’s negotiator. As a security measure, the military officer distributed pins to bodyguards provided by Akbar as a distinguishing mark who are part of their group.

Once they got to the Abu camp, after the initial greetings, they all sat down for the negotiations. Surrounding the Abu leaders were their guards whose heads were covered.

The military men accompanying Aventajado was shocked when they saw that those hooded men had their security pins. Nakalimutan tanggalin yung pins that they gave out!

By the way, one of Akbar’s wife is now the governor. Another one is the a mayor of Isabela, one of the towns in Basilan. He is right, “I am Basilan.”

Hahahah!

  2. TurningPoint TurningPoint

According to Manila Times, Basilan investigation ends, offensive poised. In the front page are marines boarding the transport to bring them to Bssilan.

According to Mindanao News – Basilan probe over, but the probers declined to discuss details of the findings. Copy of the findings will be first given to the Peace Negotiating Panel, then submitted to Mrs. Gloria Arroyo.

Japan and Canada warned that if there will be an offensive by the military, they will stop their projects in Mindanao.

Wahab Akbar declared that he is Basilan.

Given these scenario, will Mrs. Arroyo reiterate her SONA statement that the president is as strong as she wants to be?

  3. parasabayan parasabayan

Tiyanak does not have any moral ground to stand on, on anything! She has negotiated with the underworld for her survival. What makes us think that she will raise a finger in running after the killers of the 14 marines? Particularly if the same killers aided her in hanging unto her bogus presidency. This is a No brainer!
I actually prayed that justice would be done for the 14 marines when the tiyanak and asspweron were in Basilan. Yes, you know what I mean!

  4. we-will-never-learn we-will-never-learn

I read the whole speach word for word and in a nutshell my opinion is that I also feel that without obtaining the hearts and minds war is fruitless whereas talking and investing in the lives of the people living there is the right direction to go.
Wahab Akbar made mention of the devils, but he didn’t say who the devils were. He gave praise and thanks to Mrs Arroyo and her military leaders. Wahab Akbar spoke of the expenses of bullits (13peso each) and made a monetary account of the cost of battle against the AFP suggesting that the money was better spent on planting rubber trees.
When he named the beheaders there was no suggestion that these murderers should be surendered, no suggestion that there should be a compromise of the two sides.
It left me feeling that neither Wahab Akbar, the MILF or AFP really want to give up milking-the-cow, who are us the tax payer.

  5. parasabayan parasabayan

WWNL, you should say milking the cows- the first world countries who are giving a loy of aid to stabilize Mindanao. But the tiyanak and asspweron have to stir the pot for fresh funds, at the expense of the marines!

  6. Mrivera Mrivera

I’m sorry if this is again off-topic ms ellen, but it might just get your attention:

According to unverified report (UN)justice secretarr gonzales is now confined in an unknown hospital, being a journalist, ms. ellen maybe you can ask some of your source/s to get confirmation on this.

Regarding the ruling of judge pimentel that only 11 million out of 85 million only voted for trillanes, I think we should tell him to correct his mathematics. Pls tell judge pimnetel that is 11 million of the total; voting populations voted for trillanes and pls tell him not to count my 11 month child that forms part of the 85 million filipinos he is mentioning. Stupid is , as stupid does.

I have a first hand testemonies that corruptions in the AFP happen at all levels, although in different scopes and categories. I have a few friends, who served the Marines and saw action in Mindanao specifically, Lanao, Basilan and Sulu and told me even the regular fighting soldiers do sell their ammo to some Muslims in an individual transaction basis. And these will surely end up in the enemy hands. And this was in the 80s, so it is nothing new, only the generals and the colonels are making the “killings” (as in big time) when it comes to dealing with the enemies in business transactions as the articles linked by johnmarzan…

  10. cocoy cocoy

Since Marcos time the Philippine government and the Mindanao muslim warrior, have been coming up with peace initiatives to solve the conflict. Yet they always fail. If they are going to devise a solution, they must first understand why the conflict continues to exist. They must relate to the situation from the bottom up.

Smuggled weapons sales by the corrupt military must be stop: If there is strict policies ban on arms sales to this Muslim extremist , there would be no more “radical head-choppers honcho ” the conflict would end. Another problem:—- Corrupt leadership of both sides: It isn’t peace between military and Jihadist that interests the peace talk, but rather the continuation of the conflict. The way they do that is by corrupting/controlling the political leaders of both sides. Political leaders are not at the helms of peace talks because they will topple any leader who doesn’t cater to their desires before the needs of their warlord. If elected leaders are selected and deemed popular by their own people, both sides are more interested in pleasing their masters the peoples. Peace can be achieve.

Wahab Akbar people must learn they will never achieve anything through violence, most of them are uneducated, they are told what to believe regarding the reason for the continuation of the conflict, as if their opinions and feelings are actually relevant to what is happening on the battle ground to fight for a cause. with all this immorality conflict nobody ever points a finger at the corrupt military or accuses them of acting immorally by selling arms to these barbaric people and exploiting the peace and order of the region.

Rep. wahab akbar & another gov. akbar of basilan are actually not sincerely serving their people (non-MILF) but MILF alone ! I don’t consider these people as a public servant in our republic but their own (MILF), they are all hypocrites ! gloria should not give her trust to them.

  12. I told you, guys, that Gloria is nothing but “yabang”! Just where is her “Isang bala lang sila!” now? Point is for how long will Filipinos tolerate this criminal? How many more lives should they let be sacrificed for this creep to stay in power even beyond 2010? Kawawang bansa!

4 Abu Sayyaf members linked to beheading of Marines–probe

    By Joel Guinto
    INQUIRER.net
Last updated 04:03pm (Mla time) 08/02/2007

(UPDATE) MANILA, Philippines — Four members of the Abu Sayyaf are responsible for beheading 10 Marines during an encounter in Basilan province last July 10, Acting Defense Secretary Norberto Gonzales said Thursday.

Gonzales was quoting from the results of the fact-finding mission that had been formed to investigate the incident.

In its report, the Coordinating Committee on the Cessation of Hostilities (CCCH) identified the four bandits as Umair Indama, Nurhasan Jamiri, Buhari Jamiri, and Suaib Kalibon.

  14. Cocoy:

The Moslems are not the only uneducated in the Philippines. Most Filipinos in the provinces are, not just the Moslems. Don’t blame them for that.

The Moslem struggle is not something new as a matter of fact. There has been that animosity in fact between the Moslems and non-Moslems in Mindanao because of ignorance, and now, even neglect because of patronage of crooks like those warlords who have helped the squatters at the palace by the murky river steal votes that have placed the like of the and Dayana Zubiri in positions they do not deserve.

The Moslems, I bet, are not the only ones at fault there as a matter of fact. Nothing good will come out from these talks between the Moslems and the government of creeps, who themselves have encouraged the Moslems to split into various groups in the vain hope to weaken their stand.

There has been a lot of these creepy negotiations and stabbings of the back by government agents and negotiators themselves that make these talks between the Moslems and the Philippine government especially under the who has not “palabra de honor.”

  15. MR, that’s a cop out. We all know that those elememnts are MILF on Monday, Abu Sayyaf, Tuesday, whenever it’s convenient for them.

But what is underscored here is the weakness of the government. I’m wondering how the already demoralized Marines would take it.

  16. Yuko, lease stop using hte word Pootah. I’m turned off by curses. I can’t be erasing and erasing them all the time. I don’t have time.

As I have told you before, you can express your opinion in the strongest words without cursing.

  17. This should read: “There has been a lot of these creepy negotiations and stabbings of the back by government agents and negotiators themselves that make these talks between the Moslems and the Philippine government especially under the who has NO“palabra de honor”USELESS!”

Kawawang bansa! Patalsikin Na, Now Na!

    TP,

No surprise if Gloria d’Cheatah does’nt want to release the findings of the probe. We know very well that Her Kapangitan has a strict policy on replacing the truth with her own fantasies and scripts.

Political payoffs to Wahab Akbar might be the costliest in terms of human lives, blackmail monies, and instability of the nation. She is no match to “Basilan”!

  21. chi chi

I would like to suggest to the US, Canada, Japan, Australia and other foreign donors to hold your purse.

This fake president is a useless piece of crap, talaga!

  29. chi chi

Bossi at horrible deaths of the marines ay nagpakita lamang sa tunay na sitwasyong sabwatang political between the “president who is as strong as she can be” and the “I am Basilan”!

  30. rose rose

Kung si Wahab Akbar ay “I am Basilan” ang gusto naman ni Gloria at Esperon na ipakita sa atin lahat ay “we are the Philippines”. They may not have said it in words but in their actions they sure do- actions speak louder than words ang sabi nga. In response we can tell them to go to hell where they belong..we can show our response in words and actions; prayers, the power of the pen, and deeds- rallies and demonstrations all throughout the world, wherever we maybe. Let us join hands, feet and be united in our heart and love for the land of our birth.

  31. rose rose

  32. For what happened to the soldiers in Basilan, this governor, too, should be made responsible for his failure to keep his province free of hoodlums and criminals like these tulisans calling themselves as MILF, ASG, etc. exotic names. Bobo!

  33. Rose:

Baka mabuhay pa kung magpapaopera si SiRaulO. Daming available kidney donors sa Pilipinas ngayon because it is now one of the human trafficking industry the criminal is promoting overseas now. Human organ trafficking naman ngayon after a lot many countries now have taken steps to curb the influx of foreign migrant workers as what Japan is presently doing to prevent the human trafficking from the Philippines, etc.

I don’t which to pray for this idiot. I don’t know if I should pray for his death or his enlightenment, the latter mukhang malabo kaya mas mabuti siguro iyong una.

  34. …I don’t know what/which to pray for this idiot….

  35. Harion Harion

so much hate i can’t believe you guys can still type legibly. everyone’s foaming at the mouth. does anyone in here actually have any direct relations with those beheaded marines?

please do not desecrate these honorable soldiers by picking up their heads and waving it for everyone else to see, and use them as flame-bait in your hate mongering against Mrs. Arroyo

Yuko, if we go by your suggestion to make the governor of Basilan responsible bec of his failure to keep his province “hoodlum-free,” I’m afraid we’ll have to take to task every other governors here in the Philippines, for no province is ever hoodlum-free. criminal-free much less.

“Let us join hands, feet and be united…”

if she is unelected, we couldn’t possibly call her president can we? i hereby suggest that this phrase “unelected president” be stricken as oxymoronic…

“Noong magkita si Pangulong Gloria Arroyo at ang pari, sinabi raw ng una na ’14 sa sundalo ko ang napatay at napugutan dahil sa iyo.’…”

“Ang trapolita na ito at lahat ay inaari! Hoy, Crapolita Gloria, sundalo namin ‘yan at ng bansa. Hindi ikaw ang nagpapasweldo sa kanila, kami. ”

Well, it is natural for a commander to call his/her soldiers “my soldiers.” the argument on who owns them though, still remains. and i’d rather thought penury and slavery has been a thing of the past. granted these soldiers pay come from taxes which come from you, i wouldn’t say you or the taxpayers “own” them. nobody can own anyone jz bec they pay one’s salary. or are you that mired in hate you forgot that?

btw, are you a taxpaying citizen to be this livid? i hope you are, for every rant you’ve jz said becomes meaningless.

  36. TonGuE-tWisTeD TonGuE-tWisTeD

Oo nga naman, why do you hate Gloria?

-She will make our country first world in 20 years!

-She is innocent of all your rantings, she didn’t plot Erap’s ouster with the Generals and the leftists, it must be Lt. San Juan and Trillanes who did that.

-It’s the courts that decide our cases, not her. Davide is right in declaring her president. Even if it was not in the constitution, it is standard practice in many countries in West Africa.

-Of course she won fair and square in 2004. They spliced the tapes so that you hear her voice but it’s not her speaking. It was her call to Gary.

-She’s reponsible for our strong peso, not the OFWs. Don’t even listen to WB, ADB, IMF, Fitch, S&P, Moody’s. They’re destabilizers.

-She has nothing to do with our being #1 in corruption in Asia. Don’t you watch the commercials on TV every half-hour that says PERC was misquoted? We’re still number 2!

-She did not benefit from the most expensive street in our Solar System even if it was named after her father.

-It’s not her fault that Jocjoc’s orchid fertilizer evaporated during that summer. It was not used to bribe officials for her reelection. Jocjoc was never FG’s co-Rotarian in Makati, like Genuino. She’s innocent even in the record release of those funds. Blame Boncodin and the Hyatt ten for that!

-No it’s not true that we are second to Iraq in violence against journalists. It’s just that reporters all over the world are liars. Gloria is no liar.

-Gloria does not steal, in fact. Like her husband and children, they all come from a family of saints, except maybe one Gov. Arroyo who was dismissed by Pres. Quezon for bringing jueteng to Cebu, they’re future candidates for sainthood also. Mikey made big movies, bigger than Sharon Cuneta that’s why he is now worth P200M from nothing a few years back. The Arroyos are not jueteng protectors. They’re just close to the Pinedas being townmates and kumadres. Go ask Chavit!

-Gosh, you are all imagining things. It just happened that Gen. Palparan was her friend that’s why she had to mention him during the 2006 SONA.
She does not even know anything about the murders of 800+ militants. It’s the NPA doing it to their own. They also abducted Jayjay Burgos. Of course the license plate was a a fake.

-Gloria has nothing to do with the beheading of the Marines, she is only a Commander-in-Chief, how can she stop the bolos from slashing through the soldiers’ necks. It’s the radioman, it’s the lady commander, it’s the pilots and the planes’ fuel that are to blame. Not her. She can always say “my soldiers” not “our soldiers” but she isn’t responsible for them if they die, it’s war isn’t it?

-We can’t say we own anything because we paid for it with our taxes. The bridges, roads, airports, buildings, dams, etc. etc. etc. are simply not ours. That goes with the soldiers, and other civil servants. The whole Philippines doesn’t belong to Filipino taxpayers. They’re Gloria’s.

Stop hating her. Instead, love her. She’s God’s gift to Filipinos, she said so. She talks to God even, she said so, too.

  37. Diego K. Guerrero Diego K. Guerrero

A lie repeated often enough becomes the truth. Gloria repeatedly said: “I won fair and square”. Everybody knows even her dogs that she cheated and lied hundred times. The legitimacy issue keeps haunting Gloria Arroyo.

Pinoy by birth and diwa at isip at panulat.

thank you TT. you proved my point quite well.

    and oh, what’s this?

“We can’t say we own anything because we paid for it with our taxes. The bridges, roads, airports, buildings, dams, etc. etc. etc. are simply not ours.”

Nahh! That can’t be right. We own these things. Well, at least those that were built with our taxes or those built at the time we started paying taxes. of course the older ones were owned by the past pinoy generations before us who paid their taxes as well.

“That goes with the soldiers, and other civil servants. The whole Philippines doesn’t belong to Filipino taxpayers. They’re Gloria’s.”

This one I’d really like to take exception to. As I said, no one can own anyone. And I mean, no one – anyone. So yes, soldiers and other civil servants DO NOT belong to taxpayers no matter how diligent they may be in paying taxes. but they can be neither Gloria’s as well, dnt cha tink? it’s terribly barbaric of us to think of persons as properties, right TT?

Its why these thoughts of people like Harion have that make the International Community concerned about the future of this country with the web of lies, corruption and fantasy spun by this present administration.
This woman you are defending thinks she can buy and own any military leader, judge, comelec, congreessmen etc. in fact she does this regularly to survive.

  45. Harion Harion

“I don’t call Gloria president..I refer to her as panggulo ng Pilipinas..”

Rose: thank you for that information. but i didn’t say you called her president. so no need to address that statement to me. unless you feel the need to defend Chi who did call Mrs. Arroyo “president” and unelected at that! either our constitution now allows for individuals who are unelected to be our president or there must be something I missed with Chi’s statements.

and don’t take offense at my comment abt Dr. Quak2. if you’ve played it, then you’re familiar with it. it’s a nursery games where you form a circle and join hands, then wind everyone up into a twisted jumble so that Dr. Quak2 can come and fix you all up. that image just vividly went to mind when you said to join hands, including feet, to be united.

sorry. that just really made me laugh real hard. and i imagined you and folks really rallying joined hands and feet, your buttcheeks doing the walking for you…

cnt u be less dramatic and remove “feet” from the statement. im sure everyone sympathetic would understand and still join the cause.

    Oh, and this is precious.

Do quote me where I praised her to “high heavens”

Heavens, it’s really getting quite hot in here. everyone’s breathing fire!

“Hoy, Crapolita Gloria, sundalo namin ‘yan at ng bansa. Hindi ikaw ang nagpapasweldo sa kanila, kami. ”

“Pinoy by birth and diwa at isip at panulat.”

Oh right. you mentioned everything but the one thing that truly matters. no wonder this country’s going to the dogs.

    arf! arf! recognize them? heeheehee.

meksens: thank you. and thanks for the warning. lahat pala ng andito “malakas ang puso!” im glad. im really glad. that saves me from the guilt i might experience when all of you die from hbp trying to contradict me. nga pala, bat ako mag-iingat sa mga kumento ko? ala Gloria ba si Ellen na ipaliligpit ako pag di nya nagustuhan sinabi ko? o ano naman ang tungkol sa palda? di naman ako nagsusuot nyan. at ba’t mo naman sinisiraan si TT? di mo ba alam na ang pagsasabing baluktot ang dila eh ang ibig sabihin sinungaling? eh nakow, talagang tunay na kunsumisyon ang mga sinungaling, ep yu no wat ay min.

do-not-include-me: eh? this woman I am defending? pray tell, WHEN did I defend her?

Okay, listen up people! there’s an army of you here. it’ll be very simple for all of you to search the other threads and collect every comments i’ve posted and quote back to me the exact words wherein “I defended ‘this woman'”

And then, when you have done so, then, and only then will my comments makes sense much more than what meksens can make sense. makes sense? like milk in your cereal, coffeemate in your coffee?

    countdown begins

  46. luzviminda luzviminda

    TongueT,

I like your numerous reasons why “hate” Gloria. Hahaha! SAPUL! Maybe you should post that to all Pro-Gloria blogsites para matuwa sila!!!Hahahaha!

  47. TonGuE-tWisTeD TonGuE-tWisTeD

No, luzviminda, we don’t hate her. We love her, diba? Takot yata tayo sa kanya!

  48. luzviminda luzviminda

OO nga pala I “love” Gloria… Opps Sorry Lord, I LIED!

  49. luzviminda luzviminda

  51. Wow, Tongue, that was great!

Outrage expressed in this blog is a sign that we have not lost our adherence to truth and justice. It’s healthy to be outraged by lies, deception, corruption. We should be angry over the gross injustices being perpetrated by those in power so that they will remain in power.

Not to be outraged means you sense of right and wrong has been numbed. That means you are a walking corpse. You are of no use to this world.

By keeping alive the sensitivity to truth and justice, we do our share of making this world worth living.

  52. luzviminda luzviminda

“Not to be outraged means you sense of right and wrong has been numbed. That means you are a walking corpse. You are of no use to this world.”

Tama ka Ate Ellen, but the sad truth is maraming pa rin talagang walking corpses. And that is why they seem not to understand why we are so outraged with this evil regime of Gloria!

  53. TonGuE-tWisTeD TonGuE-tWisTeD

Right, Ellen. That’s what this blog is all about. It’s about truth and justice. I found it here from day one. My advocacy, too. Never left since.

Gloria, the character, is but consequential, I would have done it if it were a different person.

    Truth and Justice.

  54. chi chi

Fact is my hubby is thankful of Ellen’s blog, nakabalik raw ako sa sarili ko na maingay kung nagagalit. heheh!

  55. cocoy cocoy

    Chi;

  58. chi chi

    Rose,

  60. nelbar nelbar

    good morning! gandang umaga!

    heto ang bottom line(BAD):

    yung iba nag-yoyosi talaga?

  61. Harion Harion

I’m glad I’m not a walking corpse. At least ppl here can still outrage me. Madam is outraged with you as well Ellen. How dare you make sira of her. Though I doubt that is a sign she’s still in touch with truth and justice.

Outrage over evil sure is right. But there is out rage, and there is: OUTRAGE!

and there is: sigh, we’re so content OUTRAGING amongst ourselves we could care less if we’re making a dent in Madam’s plans. we’re so content, why don’t we jz stay here in our safe, happy place, and keep on spreading the outrage from here?

Ellen, if you are the least bit more intelligent than your admirers, then you would know me for who I am.

Chi, tnx for believing in me.

Martina, do not, puhleeze, compare me with that guy. i hardly agree with anything that comes out of that guy’s posts. if you would know my inclinations, they are with the views of people like Randy David.

  62. goji goji

Who are you Harion? Are you a former blogger or a new member?
You seem to know everyone and some recognize you. If you’re familiar with this blog, you should know that the above post criticizing Ellen and attacking other bloggers usually result in automatic censorship. Be thankful your post has been allowed to remain this long. We’re not suggesting that you must go with the flow; but you need to tone it down.

  63. Ok lang yan, Goji. Strong opinions are encouraged here. As long as we conduct them in a civilized manner. No personal insults.

And don’t try to distract or divert the discussion to something else.

  64. Harion Harion

Goji, Im a long time blogger, yes. but a first time visitor and member in Ellen’s blog. some have told me that attacking ellen might result in what you’ve said. though i certainly haven’t attacked her, personally or otherwise. criticize? if you meant me quoting her words abt keepin the outrage alive, you should read my words agn and perhaps you’d realize i am actually agreeing with her. in a sense.

And Ellen, much, much tnx. (for ur patience) i’ve tried to stay within the boundaries of your rules. yuko’s post really surprised me. imagine, kakatuntong ko pa lng d2, unang post ko, ni di nya pa nga alam kung pro or anti GMA ako, tas he2 sya magmamando sakin PRO ako…

study agn all my comments. there is not one word where i expressed my support for her lowness. all my disagreements abt the others here were abt ideas and abt what they think they know abt me. it’s conditioning, i think. you’ve conditioned them to consider anyone arguing w/their views as Gloria’s servant. even Goji here keeps accusing me she is my master. forgive me if i offended. someday, when u meet me, u may yet discover i hate her more than any of you do. peace out!

  65. Rose:

In Ilocano “takaw” also means “to steal.” Frankly, I don’t know Visayan but when I was doing translations for the National Prison in Fuchu and read those letters from families of prisoners from the Visayas, amazingly, I could translate them into Japanese when I try to understand them in the context of Ilocano. Apparently, there are lots of common words among the languages of the Philippines denoting common origin, which is Malayo-Polynesian.

  66. Tongue T: Stop hating her. Instead, love her. She’s God’s gift to Filipinos, she said so. She talks to God even, she said so, too.

    ******

Are your serious? Of course not, kasi parang sinabi mo mahalin natin ang demonyo! 😛 You can’t mean it for sure!

  67. I’m reading Isaiah and boy, lots of allegorical quotes applicable to Philippine situation as in Chapter 1 verses 3-7, 13 & 15 put in simple language state (I have substituted the Philippines to Israel: “While the ox knows his master and donkey his owner’s manger, the people of the Philippines have become less obedient than dumb animals. The Philippines has become a nation that is continually disobedient and burdened with wickedness and is raising an evil and corrupt generation. The people have disregarded the commandments of God and have provoked the Lord to anger. They have returned to their sins. Why do the people of the Philippines continue to disobey and not learn from their mistakes? While God has visited upon them every type of punishment, intending that they repent, they continue to rebel. The leaders of the nation devise evil plans and the people choose to be part of such wickedness. From the leaders down to the common people of the Philippines have become wicked and in their iniquity they don’t seem to care. They won’t try even the simplest forms of repentance. Therefore, the Filipinos will be destroyed, their cities will be consumed by fire, and foreigners will plunder the land even as the people helplessly look on. Stop any further hypocritical sacrificial offerings. They are disgusting to me. Your celebrating of religious holidays and solemn assemblies on the Sabbath are just as revolting. Enough: I can’t stand them. When you pray with uplifted hands, I will not hear you. If you continue to pray I will not listen because your hands are covered with the blood of your innocent victims.”

    Nakakatakot, di ba?!

  68. luzviminda luzviminda

Outrage?! Yes, Good people are so outraged about evil things, and evil ones are so outraged about good things!
    So, where do one belongs?

  69. TonGuE-tWisTeD TonGuE-tWisTeD

I’m sorry Yuko, I can understand your sense of humor is at the lowest ebb these days. Very hard to cheer someone in your situation.

Love her? Of course we do. I can’t even imagine how boring my future blogging life would be without her. Hehehe! O, tawa ka na!

  70. cocoy cocoy

    Tongue;
Maybe we can impose strict clothing policy.Everyone must wear a loose jeans.

  71. cocoy cocoy

    Tongue;

  72. goji goji

I can still see some guys wearing baggy pants.

  73. florry florry

Ellen, can’t suppress a little smile upon reading the account of your story. I can’t imagine how these people gave out their identities just like that. Men suppllied by Akbar as security escorts for the govt side, turn out to be the same men as guards of the Abu Sayyaf. From there we can make our own conclusion who is Abu Sayyaf.
Akbar painted himself as a self-made man, although from his own accounts, not always within the boundaries of the law. He declared he is Basilan and the Abu Sayyaf no longer exists in the province. He is right, Abu Sayyaf has no more reason to exist because Akbar already owned the province.

  74. Mrivera Mrivera

    tongue,

  75. OK lang, Tongue. Kaya lang kahit biro, hindi ko puedeng mahalin ang kampon ni Satanas that the Unano is for me. First time na-encounter ko iyan, hindi ako makapaniwala kasi may pagka-tsismosa.

Hindi pa siya politician noon as a matter of fact. Kaya sabi ko doon sa classmate niyang nagpakilala sa akin sa kaniya, “Sorry, but I can’t work with someone with a tililing in her head!” Patik ang dating kasi.

That’s why I did not support EDSA 2 even when I was not 100 percent for Erap, a lot of whose appointees in fact I knew so very well, and a number of them not as honest and competent as he thought they were.

Kawawang bansa!
