P1M reward put up for arrest of Faeldon

President Arroyo on Saturday has approved a P1 million reward for the capture of a fugitive military officer involved in Thursday’s failed rebellion in Makati City.

According to information sent by the Philippine National Police (PNP) public information office Mrs. Arroyo approved the recommendation of PNP chief

Director General Avelino Razon Jr. for the offer of P1 million for information that will lead to the arrest of Marine Capt. Nicanor Faeldon.
“We expect that the reward offer will encourage people in the community to provide us with information that will lead to the early arrest of persons involved,” Razon said.

The information sent by police said P1 million will be given to any person who will provide any information that will lead to the arrest of Faeldon.

Faeldon was among the Magdalo officers who walked out of a Makati Regional Trial Court hearing before noon Thursday along with Senator Antonio Trillanes IV and Brig. Gen. Danilo Lim. Lim who was charged in a separate trial in relation to the aborted mutinous action last Feb. 2006 stood as a witness in the Makati court hearing.

Faeldon joined the march in Makati led by Trillanes and Lim and other armed members of the Magdalo group along with some civilians after which they holed up inside The Peninsula Manila hotel.

Trillanes and Lim called for the people and the military to withdraw support from President Arroyo and also asked Mrs. Arroyo to step down.

After a six-hour standoff police and military forces started to storm the hotel and Trillanes and Lim eventually surrendered peacefully.

Faeldon and other unidentified members of the Magdalo group however were able to escape.

Faeldon was among the junior officers who stormed and took over Oakwood Premier Hotel in Makati City in 2003. He escaped from military detention last Dec. 14, 2005 and rearrested a month after.

He was known for his elusiveness after claiming that he visited three military and police camps — Western Command headquarters in Puerto Princesa City, Southern Command in Zamboanga City and the PNP headquarters in Camp Crame, Quezon City — while an inter-agency task force was hunting him down.

Faeldon posted pictures and videos on his Web site www.pilipino.org.ph taken inside the three camps to prove his claims. The site has been dismantled by the government.

  1. One million lang?

Whoever came up with this amount, should take a refresher course in Arithmetic.

Capt. Faeldon might cost this Midget her seat.

And the P500,000 per Congressman won’t be there to help her when the time comes.

Nice analyzation sampot.
Pero you know what my dear Gloria the tiyanak?! if I knew where Capt. Faeldon is, I wouldn’t even report it to you or your evil empire no matter how big the reward is. So, count me out!

In my opinion, from a military point of view , what Gen. Lim and Sen. Trillanes did was a case of a good strategy but as to whether it was a wrong tactic, its too early to tell not withstanding the issue of legality( cases that will be filed against them) and the damage to properties, effect on the economy, etc.

Gen.Lim and Sen.Trillanes of all people know the sentiment of the majority of the AFP regarding the issues against GMA and they also know that there are diversities involved within the military establishment as to the methodology of bringing about reforms in the country. These diversities are by-products of brainstorming (shoptalk) within the ranks of the officers and enlisted personnel but one needs to understand the military mindset, they don’t appreciate brains without “balls”. So, the idea and methodology of one that has the “balls” will eventually dominate the establishment. The word “balls” could mean guts, valor, bravery, courage, sticking ones neck out, and sacrifice.

So,the cases that will be filed against them, all the criticisms, flak, namecalling(stupid, coward, fool, crazy…),invectives hurled against them by the civilian populace does not matter to them because all this things will fall under the “balls” category which the military(Junior Officers,Enlisted Personnel and a very few Generals) honors and respects deeply. One should not wonder that the highest award/medal given to a soldier is not a medal of academic excellence but the medal of valor.

What Gen.Lim and Sen.Trillanes did, will serve as a double edged dagger piercing through the conscience of a number of Officers and enlisted men, and Esperon knows this very well hence the need to augment the NCR Command with forces from the 7th ID and the 2nd ID.

  4. but one needs to understand the military mindset, they don’t appreciate brains without “balls”. So, the idea and methodology of one that has the “balls” will eventually dominate – ace

    Agree.

  6. On Dec 30 (or 31 was it?) 2002, Gloria admitted to the nation in a speech that she was (and continues to be) the cause of the divisiveness in the country and that because of this she pledged like a lil good girl, she wouldn’t run in the 2004 elections. She broke that pledge and forged ahead, stole votes with the help of Garci, Esperon and various military hatchett dogs and “won” the spurious vote count.

Today, she continues to be the cause of the huge political and cultural divide in the country, i.e., between those who lick her ass and those who don’t as well as those on whom she bestows Christmas bags with hundreds of thousand pesos and impoverished families who live on a meagre 1 dollar a day (as opposed to the horses of Jr Corleone Mikey Arroyo fare on hundreds of dollars of food daily), etc., etc..

And as if she’s not content dividing and corrupting the nation, she has now decided to teach the Filipinos to turn against each other, by SNITCHING on their fellow Filipinos.

True to the name she carries, Makapagal, and her traitorous bloodline, Gloria will stop at nothing to bring this country and its people to her gutter level which, in theory, is the habitat she and her family belong!

1M ? Hahhhhhaaaahhhheeeh ! It’ll be tougher this time around to find him. It’s not about the money. It’s about principles. Gloria just does not have that.

  8. Chabeli Chabeli

Maybe we should offer 2M NOT to have Faeldon captured ! Hahahh.

  9. Chabs,

You are absolutely spot on — Gloria just DOES NOT HAVE principles.

  10. Gloria is instilling in the nation her own principle: TRAYDORAN!

    She is absolutely pathetic!

  11. klingon klingon

Teka, its disturbing to hear that his website has been dismantled by the government. The government! Since when has that been legal???

I compare now Faeldon to Gringo…ang galing tumakas ng taong ito. Btw, who is telling the truth Razon is saying the MP switch to Magdalo or o si Esperon na MP did not switch side. Di ba ganito nangyari noon kay Gringo sa gitna ng dagat eh nakatakas pa because his guard symphatize with him..then the reward of 5M for his capture.

It is Christmas time and you know what, everyone would need “aguinaldo”! Lalo na a lot of those policemen have several families “kabit system”. Maybe it is a group of policemen (very good in kotongan) who took him so they will have their bounty. But only one million? Payat yan! These policemen can do better with their kidnapping and carnapping businesses!

  18. PSB: Lalo na a lot of those policemen have several families “kabit system”.

    *****

On the other hand, I hope and pray na safe si Faeldon regardless of whether or not na nasa labas o loob siya.

  20. Just checked on the background of Faeldon at Wikipedia. Wow! If he has escaped, we can bet our bottom dollar, he will be more careful this time not to be caught ever again.

He will roar like a lion, no doubt! Leo pala siya! Kaya walang takot!

  21. Yuko,

Meanwhile, Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo is finally on a Philippine flight that will take her to London, Madrid and Lourdes in France.

But why Lourdes? I thought they had a distant who’s a Spanish saint… If she or her greedy family needs some spiritual intercession, why not go to a member of their family who’s supposed to be a saint? They don’t trust that saint? Why? Is it because Gloria and her husband know the stuff their own family is made of?

(Don’t mean to malign real saints but we must understand that this putragis na dwendeng Gloria is prepared to lie about her and her husband’s piggy bloodline all the way — buti na lang iyong saint na sinasabi niyang kamaganak niya ay hindi nagalburuto at binisto sila na puro sinungaling ang putragis na pamilya nitong walanghiyang Gloria Macapagal na ito!)

  22. Yuko,

Capt. Faeldon and company; godspeed to you all!
One day, we will be victorious…

  24. jewel jewel

I agree with you all bakit nga naman may reward pa eh yung mismong kriminal eh “nakakapamuno” pa ng bansa at nakakapag “pilgrimage” pa???? the height of “irony” in this country…sana nga nakatakas si Faeldon…

  25. Anna: But why Lourdes? I thought they had a distant who’s a Spanish saint…

    *****

I don’t think so, because the Spanish saint could not possibly had gone through a virgin birth like Virgin Mary since she died unmarried having entered the nunnery since the age of 19 or even earlier.

Frankly, it means only one thing—may sira sa tuktok and must be having hallucinations to be claiming that they are descended from a virgin saint!!! Yuck!!!

I like your story on the Iggy brother! Napa-may I go out tuloy ako!!! 😛

  26. Chab:

Puedeng duraan ang litrato niya kasamang plema, then send it to Malacanang! Para ka na rin nakadura in person! 😛

  27. ipaglaban_mo ipaglaban_mo

  29. ipaglaban_mo ipaglaban_mo

Alam mo na, the usual diversionary tactic nila… 🙂

  30. masha masha

Ito talagang si gloria oo, napakatiyane. 1M? PHP?

  31. Yuko,

Right!

  32. chi chi

Pinatakas ni Sen. Trillanes at Gen. Lim si Capt. Nick Faeldon. Yehey!

Naku! Kung aasahan mo yung mga congressmen to up the reward pot from the funds inside those brown bags from Malacanang, e, good luck…

Asking them to part with the Php500k is like asking them to part with their first born!

  34. rebelfiancee rebelfiancee

WhaaH! 1M for Capt. Faeldon, how about Bedol? Between Faeldon and Bedol? Who is credible? this bogus Arroyo government has done nothing but to suppress those who wanted to air grievances. GLORIA deserves nothing but a BULK OF SHIT!… As long as Gloria is gloriously staying in Malakanyang, there would be another TRILLANES who will come out. TRILLANES is the ghost that will always haunt GLORIA! You can incarcerate TRILLANES AND OTHER PATRIOTIC PEOPLE but you can’t incarcerate their PRINCIPLES!

Trillanes and those that walked out during the trial and after that they went to Manila Peninsula maybe to have coffee. What’s wrong with that. That trial was a one-sided Court trial anyway. Watching those armored tanks, I thought there was a declaration of war. All the Arm Forces were out there, pala nag coffee break lang si Senator Trillanes. Ang galing mag drama nitong si pandak. Sobra na ang guinagawa mo sa Filipinos. Darating din an panahon mo.
