Hanggang ngayon, hindi pa nakikita si Jonas at piniikot lang ng military si Edith.
Sabi ng Universidad de Alcala, kaya raw binigyan ng award on human rights si Arroyo dahil sa kanyang pag-tanggal ng death sentence. Inalis mo nga ang death sentence na ipinpatong ng korte, pinagpapatay mo naman na walang hustisya ang hindi nagugustuhan ang pagmumukha ng mga heneral mo.

Huwag na lang tayo magtataka kung isang araw mapalaya si Larañaga. Ay kung si Romeo Jalosjos na nag-rape sa batang babae ay mapapalaya na nga. Yun pa kayang si Larañaga na nakukuha si Arroyo ng award bilang champion ng human rights?

For that kind of HUMAN RIGHTS CHAMPION award to be given to Gloria, really the most unlikely and the least deserving person to receive it, the Spanish ambassador to Manila must have gone on all fours along with the Philippine Ambassador to Madrid to persuade the university to agree to discern it on Gloria.
I am confident the French ambassador will be more discerning and won’t recommend such odious title as Human Rights Champion conferred on one of the world’s lying toads and human rights abusers by the Sorbonne University.

Siguro ang mga Pinoy ang Hispanic Asian. The Equalizer is right that Pinoys hve to start establishing their identity as Asians.
That’s what’s happening in Europe. There is a common identity that’s being forged, EUROPEAN. It helps a lot that a people, a group of pêople know their identity, i.e., politics and economics. Nations with a common identity with their neighbours can resolve their problems with less difficulty than going it alone.

The life-size masterpiece called “Hell’s Angel” was done by renowned sculptor Satan Claus who is a genuine descendant of the Christmas figure who migrated from Finland (and built his tribe in Hell, a village in Stjørdal, Norway). Due to previous commitments, Gloria cannot personally accept the award but has asked her spouse to meet with Satan in Hell to receive it.

Shitka, a city, in Irkutskaya Oblast, Russia in conferring an award to Gloria for her being resolute in her anti-corruption crusade. Her commitment has finally hauled in a big fish, a former President at that, but Shitka’s residents have not been informed that he was pardoned. Her government’s huge budget for these efforts was considered foremost in selecting this year’s winner. The government has so far convicted three people since she took power in 2001.
The unveiling of the cenotaph in Shitka’s Krook Memorial, which is carved in a black monolith will be witnessed by the Philippine Ambassador to Russia who will clap to chants of “Shitka! Gloria!”, as dictated by tradition.
5. Crookstown’s Best
The village of Crookstown in Cork, Ireland is presenting Gloria a Gold Medal for the economic miracle she has achieved for her country.
Referring to “manufacturing figures” as the top criterion, this town known originally for its brand of “Irish pun” has bestowed awards in the past for West African Presidents of Togo and Benin, which are both being elevated to the Hall of Fame for winning the award five for times. Insiders say that Gloria will be next year’s runaway sole winner.

MANILA, Philippines — As her chief political nemesis, ousted president Joseph Estrada began doing the rounds during the holidays in poor communities in Metro Manila, President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo will launch this week her own Christmas gift-giving program that will benefit some 600,000 families, Malacañang spokespersons said Tuesday.
Each family beneficiary — 400,000 from the 10 poorest provinces in the country and 200,000 from Metro Manila — will receive a bag of goodies containing two kilos of rice, noodles, and canned goods under the President’s “Pamaskong Handog” project, Lorelei Fajardo, deputy spokesperson, told reporters in an interview.
