    Good job! Excellent presentation.

Mga klasmayts try to view this excellent report of the above concerned individuals.

Trillanes..to air their grievances and mayroon silang basihan ng kanilang complaints..eg the way they are being treated as “convicts”..ang kailangan lang seguro ay “dialogue” a true honest and goodness..talking to each other; listening to each other; hearing what each one has to say and then together solve the problems para naman ang Pilipinas ay maging isang bayan..governed with justice and for peace..
Hindi pa naman huli…ang sabi nga better late than never.. what sayest thou Mrs. Arroyo? what sayest thou Mr. Esperon? what sayest thou Mr/Madam Justices of all courts? what sayest thou Mr. Congressmen? what sayest thou Mr. Senators..can we all put our personal interets behind and let us all work together..ang lahat na may pagmamahal sa bayan..puede naman makatulong kahit wala physically sa phil. anong say nating lahat?..Ang sagot ay personal nating commitment..how committed are each and every one of us..Do I sound desperate? In a sense yes..but we still have hope…and God is our hope..Ang hinihiling ng lang lahat hindi lang sila Sen. Trillanes..ay Katarungan, Kapayapaan/Katahimikan ng Bayan at Kaunlaran..Is that too much to ask?

  3. balweg balweg

    Hi Rose,

RE: In a sense yes..but we still have hope…and God is our hope..

Unahin ko muna ito, Isaiah says, There is no peace,”Says my God, “for the wicked”. (Is. 57:21)

Open rebuke is better than love carefully concealed. (Prov. 27:5) If your enemy is hungry, give him bread to eat; And if he is thirsty, give him water to drink; For so you will heap coals of fire on his head, And the Lord will reward you. (Prov. 25:21-22)

To do righteousness and justice is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice. (Prov. 21:3)

Ang babala sa Balana, THERE IS A WAY WHICH SEEMS RIGHT TO A MAN, BUT ITS END IS THE WAY OF DEATH. (Prov. 14:12)

  4. rose rose

balweg: I agree with you..”kung iisa isahin natin sila” and that I find not only sad but pathetic..I didn’t know what “civil society” means but now I am getting to understand who they are..many I think are graduates of “good
catholic schools..and yet..I am sure many of them read the
Final Judgment found in Matt. 25 ” I was hungry and you feed me not..I was thirsty and you give me no drink…”
when you do this for one of the least important of these brothers of mine, you did it for me”. Is this too hard to understand? Hindi naman so bakit hindi magawa? Seguro mahirap gawin kasi they are comfortable where they are seated..” tragic!

But then, where were the other Bishops like Cruz? Lagdameo denounced the arrest of the media; but Rosales, Villegas, et al…not a single word of comment. Busog kasi ang mga iyan.

    Sen. Sonny,

  7. chi chi

Eh, eh, eh, my faves Rosales and Villegas…eh di hindi na sila nakasama sa baul-baul na pera next time! Huh, kumulo na naman ang dugo ko by the mere mention of these names!

  8. chi chi

Don’t count them out!

  9. Diego K. Guerrero Diego K. Guerrero

Bawal mag-hostage ng baboy. Bantay-salakay ang mga pulis ni Burias. Sinabi ba ang kanilang karapatan (civil rights) bago iginapos sila Sen. Trillanes, et al?

Simulan na ang election protest against Me Girl So Very!

Good, we need you to stay that way!

I again declare my full and unquestionable support to Sen. Trillanes, Gen. Lim and Co.!

    Hi Chi,

Till the end of wickednessed and power of darknessed in our Land.

Maging ilaw tayo ng ating Bayang Minamahal!

Nene Pimentel did a good job commiserating with Trillanes. But he and the other leading members of the opposition could have done better. If they went to the hotel at that time before the siege, the peaceful protest of Trillanes and company would have made a difference. Quite possibly, they might not have known about the Trillanes “march” to the hotel. By the time text messages started flying, the police/mil siege was over.

I hate to see other oppositionists (Jamby and others) laying the blame on Trillanes. Under the circumstance, the best thing they should do is to keep silent, and then seize a part of the “cake” later when it is cooked.

    Rose,

We know that whoever is born of God does not sin: but he who has been born of God keeps himself, and the wicked on does not touch him. (2Jn. 5:18)

Beloved, do not imitate what is evil, but what is good. He who does good is of God, but he who does evil has not seen God. (3Jn. 1:11)

In this the children of God, and the children of the devil are manifest: Whoever does not practice reighteousness is not of God, nor is he who does not love his brother. (1Jn. 3;10)

Little children, let no one decieve you. HE WHO PRACTICES REIGHTEOUSNESS IS RIGHTEOUS, JUST AS HE IS RIGHTEOUS. He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. (1Jn. 3:7-8)

    Hi Hawaiianguy,

Pimentel?

  20. Valdemar Valdemar

We have hardened politicians and neophytes. Trillanes is a neo. For want of a few more dollars (pesos), see what happened starting at EDSA 1.

  21. Btw, Ellen, Inquirer reports “President says Ranario case proof of gov’t rights policy”

What does the Ranario case have to do with human rights violations that are committed under her watch in the Philippines.

It’s the Emir of Kuwait who is liable for human rights violations committed in Kuwait where Ranario’s rights were violated so for Gloria to gloat about govt policy concerning human rights in a foreign country shows she’s a complete idiot!

She’s answerable for human rights committed in her own backyard and that’s that!

  22. chi chi

    Anna,

Well, because Gloria is an idiot she thinks that Kuwait is part of Pinas, under her kababuyan regime. Ay tanga!

  23. Anna: Btw, Ellen, Inquirer reports “President says Ranario case proof of gov’t rights policy”

    *****
It only shows that the creep was advised to take advantage of the clamor for her to intervene in this case just to validate the new image being projected of her by her publicity agency. Iyong bibilib, talagang may sira na sa ulo! 😛

The detention now even of the lawyers of Trillanes, et al is proof enough that there are human rights violations in the Philippines, where even lawyers have no protection to be able to protect people they are supposed to defend. Their presence at the Peninsula should actually be considered valid since there are there to defend and even counsel their clients. Is that difficult for the judges there to understand and take into consideration? How about the bar association where these lawyers are affiliated with to protect them? What have they been doing?

Over here, this kind of incarceration can mean even debarment if the lawyers are proved to be guilty of rebellion. Otherwise, it is the bar association VS the state.

  24. ….since they were there to defend and even counsel their clients…..

  25. Mabait din si Senator Pimentel because he duly acknowledged and thanked Puno for granting their visit to Trillanes, et al. However, I don’t see no reason why the good senator would feel indebted (hopefully not) to this wannabe Rasputin.

Never of heard such in Japan as a matter of fact, because here, when they feel that it is their duty and responsibility to do so, it is just proper for the authorities concerned to grant such permit or they face the wrath of the citizenry, especially those who demand strongly for such visit to inquire on the welfare and interests of the detained fellow Senator, et al., and see to it that justice prevails. No one has to feel indebted to anybody sitting in the government in the government as a matter of fact.

Frankly, I can’t understand such subservience to public servants in the Philippines. Filipinos should abide by the law, but not to any personal order by one who should be acting like one–a public servant.

Yup, Gloria Dorobo is supposed to be one, and therefore, she should not act as if she owns the Philippines. Her husband, too, should not have those privileges, etc. being granted him for he is merely, without an official portfolio, a personal escort especially of one who is a suspected thief.

  26. …Never heard of such in Japan…

  27. I find it extremely difficult nowadays to visit blogsites especially after the Manila Pen incident. As we normally do when the need arises (simple things like when someone gets shot), wherever we are, we travel and try to give moral and whatever support we can give, down south we watched the whole thing on live TV. The “P” word (in reference to someone’s mother) was used rather liberally, called everybody we knew on the mobile, even the ones on the other side. The “hootings” that followed were deafening, and one of my friends even cried, who do these people think they are? let them try to shoot it our here and see for themselves if its easy.

The issues were never acted on before, now Sen. Trillanes and Lim put their necks on the line again. At least some people in the media understand, and these people are the ones that count, don’t mind the paid hacks. I opened my laptop and using the weroam (quite slow really) and we were able to access the internet and I showed everybody how to reach Ellen’s blog, at least the idiotic “hooters” are a minority here, don’t go anywhere else or you’ll just hurt yourself (to add to your gunshot wound). I even pointed out Ellen (remember you were in the bus talking to Mike Enriquez (the guy on tv) and you were saying something like you didn’t allow yourself to get handcuffed.

And then that gruesome scene Sen. Trillaness being dragged by Barias, the “P” word was liberally used again. Someone even commented, bata namin yan, kami’ng nagpalaki nyan (meaning they knew him since plebehood).
You meet these type of “persons” in your youth. At times when your bunkmates complain of hunger at night (because they weren’t able to eat in the mess hall for obvious reasons) and someone slips out of the window wearing nothing but pajamas and a bathrobe and slippers (and a towel?) This is against the rules so these guys risk getting caught and “kaldag” or blows to the stomach so hard at times you forget to see stars and just pass out. When you reach the mess hall, you go to the place they put the leftovers, mostly rice mixed with the night’s viand, add some used table napkins, put everything in a plastic bag and you’re good to go. Out of the corner of your eye you see other robe clad looters but you don’t talk, you just get in get the boodles (food) and get out and run back to the room where the room mates greet you (actually just the food with quick hand-to-mouth gestures). Pasensiya na bok wala mayadong ulam but I got this – a bottle of catsup now thats a treat! You find out later that not all “take lifers” got away, some got caught and “suffered the consequences.” At this early age, some people already risk pain for others, imagine what they will do 10 years after?

So let me take this chance to thank you Ellen and those media people and everyone who understood. The military may not be that popular today and so many people have something to say but I can’t say I don’t care, it hurts really. Some bonds make you closer than brothers and neither time nor popularity (or lack of it) can erode it.

Maybe if they posted marine battalions, once in position these would do an about face and you’ll see the unmistakable red cloth in everybody’s upper arms?
You will find it hard to believe but a revolution is the last thing in Sen. Trillanes’ mind, if he did, why didn’t he ask help from several “loose cannons” who will jump to his side with one call? Hindi siya nanggugulo, its the overkill of GMA’s domesticated german shepherds thats making things appear this way – enough to declare “emergency powers?”
Imagine what these “dogs of war” (kahit mga askal lang)can do to Gloria’s german shepherds?

  43. Anna,

Unless I prove to the company that the Philippines is an important, no, vital market. I’m working very hard on it though, last time I looked we we’re neck to neck with Malaysia. But this guy Trillanes inspired me, going against all odds, Pinoy power!

  44. Apparently, I was right. I doubt that Senator Trillanes has read my posts in this blog on the Pen seige, but what he said were exactly what I thought happened based on what I saw on those video clips transmitted for showing in Japan that I had the privileged to translate in to Japanese.

It was obvious that the idiots who ordered the attack on the Pen hotel had wanted to show that there was a skirmish with the Magdalos and should they get killed, they could always say the Magdalos fought fiercely and it was necessary to kill them that was why the shooting was even amplified as it looked pre-prepared. Fortunately, the media were there and though they actually did not have anything to do with the walkout by Trillanes, et al, and the attack by the military looking police or vice-versa, they kind of saved the few good men.

I heard likewise that the true and real criminals have even ordered that media will have to be subjugated to prosecution if they fail to abide by the new rule to be implemented from tomorrow. If so, this should be strongly protested and condemned.

I feel that Senator Trillanes’ chance of getting out of jail is slim, if not nil. It’s been four years and no sign of progress is evident. On a lighter note, Senator seems to be looking very attractive these days. I’ve read several forums that talk about his being attractive 🙂

  49. Freshie,

Unfortunately, there are forums asking for his exclusion from the Senate.

Bakit Army at Air Force and nagbabantay kina Sen. Trillanes et al? FYI, they are only guarding the perimeter and the court hallways. Ang talagang nagbabantay, yung mga PNP. The Heroic 12 (minus Capt. Faeldon who is still out) were handcuffed to their police guards for the duration of the whole trial. Bakit kamo walang Marines? Dahil sa Marines matindi ang dissatisfaction with the corrupt administration. Puno, DILG Sec., does not trust them.

  51. klingon klingon

Insider info: Gen. Lim was outstanding on the witness stand, according to those who had the privilege of seeing him. Without exaggeration or excessive emotion, he exposed Esperon as the one who voided the Oakwood agreement that led to the resolution of the situation.

Maybe this is the real reason for the overkill. Because there were so many guards (there was even one police officer stationed behind the witness stand!) there was no room for the press. My guess is that anyone who would have heard Gen. Lim would doubtless have immediately seen how correct and how brave they are. He places all resistance into context.

Imagine, this officer, upon hearing that he had men in Oakwood, went there within hours after hearing about the incident. And he stayed there, for the negotiations, for the packing up, he even went with them to Fort Bonifacio and made sure the men had their dinner. When Gambala and Maestrecampo were transferred to the ISAFP, it was Gen. Lim these Rangers trusted to accompany them. All these he did even as he had only been occupying his position in the First Scout Ranger Regiment for three days when Oakwood happened.

Juxtapose that with the kind of officer that Esperon presents, and suddenly Truth seems to be the most subversive idea ever to hit this monstrous regime.

RE: I feel that Senator Trillanes’ chance of getting out of jail is slim, if not nil.

Tama yong feeling mo Pre!
