May nakakita

September 2006 raw yun. Huli raw niya nakita ang dalawa babaeng estudyante noong Hunyo.

Sana nga buhay pa sina Karen Empeño at Sherlyn Cadapan hanggang ngayon.

Pinuri pa todo-todo ni Arroyo si Palparan sa kanyang state of the nation address.

The Sumilao case is the best example how the Filipinos are treated by the three branches of the government. The executive – the President can use it for political purpose. The congress who produced the lopsided CARP law are controlled by landowners and family dynasties. The judiciary who are bind by the lopsided CARP law.

As I anticipated before, the President will side with the farmers. Today the President issued an order of revocation of 144 hectares of disputed Sumilao property. As I said before it will not the end of the story. Again in the Inquirer today, it said “No Tears of Joy” for the farmers. Marlon Manuel, the farmers chief lawyer realized that it will be start of the long legal battle up to the Supreme Court by then, Gloria will no longer be the President.

This is a typical cancer in the Philippines. Gloria Arroyo will be replaced and the cancer will still be there for the farmers.

Not only can Manalo’s testimony be used to persuade Universidad de Alcala to withdraw its medal awarded to Gloria’s regime, but also for the court to issue a Writ of Amparo to compel the military to produce those missing students/activists (including Burgos).

  3. I’m just passing by, but cannot help replying to this loop. The board of directors of that university that honored the idiot should hear the testimony of a witness who saw how the two UP students were tortured by the military on order of the crook sitting pretty at the palace by the murky river.

Filipinos should strongly protest against such award to the No. 1 Corrupt President of the Philippines. Shame on the directors of Universidad de Alcala. Sin verguenza!

Sorry, guys, but for all that is happening in the Philippines, I can’t greet anyone here a happy Christmas! They deserve what they get, sabi nga!

  4. I can’t remember already who, but one of the two women was pregnant at the time of abduction.

Pity the child, whose first sight of the world is one awful scene of barbaric cruelty and terror, of torture and pain, of sorrow and despair.

Those are worse than death itself.

Yet save for a few, no one seemed to care. What a pathetic society!

  5. Yuko,
While you’re there, paki tignan mo nga yung bahay sa Verducci Drive, baka nandun yung mga anak, paki-hagisan mo naman ng Christmas Card.

    Samahan mo ng bato.

  6. Tongue,

I will. Sa Daly City ba iyan? I saw the properties at Van Ness because I owned a 4-unit apartment in Pacific Heights and knew the area quite well from the Japan Town to Market St.

  7. Back to the two UP students, Tongue.

That is kung hindi walanghiya! Kulo, kulo, kulo talaga ng dugo!

My sympathy and condolence to the death of democracy in the Philippines!

  8. I have a complete report of Alston. I got it from AI and Human Rights Now. I understand AI Japan, etc. are writing the Univesrsidad de Alcala to inform them of their mistake in giving the Dorobo an award as a human rightist champion. Yuck! Magnanakaw talaga!

  9. Valdemar Valdemar

Why not send the sad stories to the Universidad de Alcala so those concerned would know and might even recall the honors inappropriately awarded. We can afford to lose the Spanish contract anyway.

  10. Valdemar,
Spanish LOANS, actually. After the cold-shoulder treatment from World Bank from the bidding scams, she portrays a defiant image and counts on her allies from China and Spain and the others that she is a STRONG leader.

    Oo na nga, strong na!

Ay, salamat at nakapasok rin ako!

Ay, salamat at nakapasok rin ako! Can’t help but sympathize with the parents of these 2 students!

I pray for it everyday!
    “Make it sooner, Lord!”

For the meantime, “Wishing you all a Happy Christmas and a “GMA-less” New Year!!!

Elvira: Just like you, I pray for the removal of the root of corruption in the Phil. I pray for a change of heart of the leader (kahit peke siya..kasi siya ang nakaupo at mukhang hindi niya ma alsa ang buli niya) and all her staff-military and all..to have a room for God in their hearts..Christmas should bring us hope, love, justice, truth, peace so we all will rejoice. In almost all catholic churches here in JC, with Filipino parishioners have the simbang gabi..I have never completed this 9 days Christmas novena in my whole life..but this time I am determined to do it (kahit na tgrrr grrr manong) and my primary intention and petition is for the removal of the root of evil…remove the c (as in conscience) in the word civil society and what we do we get “ivil” ..sana may concience ang mga ating pinuno..

  13. rose rose

let’s not lose hope..with all our prayers..united in prayers..Muslims, Christians, etc. God is our hope..”how long do we have to wait dear Lord..you are our only hope.”
BTW..nakita ko kanina sa TFC (sa restaurant) na 800 Muslims were stranded sa Mecca..kawawa naman..but when we come to think of many Filipinos are stranded in their homes because of poverty..many Filipinos are slaves in their own homes kasi hindi sila maka galaw..sa poverty..kailangan kaya sila makalaya sa slavery na ito..dahil sa ating mga politicians..sana bago matapos ang taon so we all will have a prosperous, holy and blessed 2008..

  14. rose rose

sabi kanina ng aming pastor…not all those who studied in exclusive catholic schools or Christian schools make room for Jesus in their hearts ..not all who went to Jesuit schools, Christian Brother Schools make room for Jesus in their hearts..not all of them are disciples of Christ–they don’t obey the commandments of God..He was not referring to Ateneo or de la Salle…St. Peter College (a Jesuit school) is just a block away from the church..Hudson Catholic High School (Christian Bros.) is just across the street..I couldn’t help but smile..how true.. and this is Jersey City..

  15. The Filipinos have lost their sense of rage. They are more concerned of filling their stomach. Gloria Arroyo made the people so poor that they have no strength to oppose her abusive and oppressive regime. Gloria Arroyo achieve this by conniving with big businesses and oligarch.

    Rose:
You reminded me of a Filipino priest’s (from Romee) sermon last Sunday. He emphasized the letter C for Christ, having Him the Center of our lives, not only during Christmas, but throughout the year! How great is it if each one of us could do it. How good an EXAMPLE would GMA be, before the eyes of every Filipino, if she could ONLY add a letter C to the word conscience. BUT…am I saying these words to a woman who has no C at all? Then, let us ACT on it …NOW!
    ,
    Hi Balweg,
You were asking me in a previous thread if it’s a Deal or no Deal for me. Of course , it’s a No Deal (to remain silent and accept all the LIES, corruptions, briberies, killings of jounalists and activists, etc, etc…And Game na Game na ako, matagal na)…na ipagpatuloy natin ang Laban para sa KATOTOHANAN!

  17. Elvira Sahara Elvira Sahara

Biruin mong kalbaryo iyan.

  19. Elvie:

Rome was destroyed from within. But what they seem to miss is that this Dorobo is a criminal who deserve to be penalized, not tolerated because she cannot be removed pronto as she and her husband have succeeded in putting all their friends in positions to protect and preserve her!

Pati pulis kurakot, what can you expect? Sabi nga ni Trillanes, “Tuloy ang laban!”

    Hi Elvie S.,

By the way, Merry +mass and advance Happy New Year….isama ko narin ang Hapi 3 Kings ha!

Victims of extrajudicial killings were parts of our struggle and dedication to pursue the freedom and better Philippines.

If anyóne stand in the path of truth, GMA regime and cabals of Generals tagged us as an enemies of our people and laws of the land.

They meant that they are the defenders of democracy, but in reality these people pahirap sa bayan at kaaway ng batas.

In 1Jn.3:10, “In this the children of God and the children of the devil are manifest: Who-over does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is he who does not love his brother.

Good question?

kahit itanong natin kina abalaos at garci.

  29. If you are not kissing Gloria’s ass, praising and adulating her, you are a communist? What a crap!

I can criticize our government over in Japan, and march down the streets of Tokyo against issues for instance but never once have I heard anyone calling me a communist because I am not!

I don’t even have the inclination to join the Communist Party of Japan even when it is a recognized political party. I’d rather be called “an activist,” a trademark of those who have graduated from UP as a matter of fact.

That it is legal to be a communist in Japan is what I call real democracy!

Come to think of it, but for the information of the ignoramuses in the Philippines and even in the US of A, both Russia and China are called “republic” not “communist.”

  30. Guys,
If a blog post comes from an obscure sender does the message reflect a bizarre world?

    Pronto!

  31. tongue,

May mga tao dito sobrang paranoid, tingin sa tin lahat komunista na at coup plotters (pilit pa akong paaminin ba) ano ba yan? Naiintindihan ba nila ang freedom of speech?

Tindi!

Freedom of speech? Under Gloria Dorobo, limited sa kaniya at sa ungas na asawa, anak, et al niya iyan. Otherwise, those who dare call them crooks are slapped with libel suits or threat of lawsuits kuno as if everyone is a dimwit like them!

Sarap murahin, but for the spirit of Christmas, this time, I’ll be kinder to the animals!
