Enchanted kingdom ni Arroyo

Nagyayaya si Gloria Arroyo sa kanyang “Enchanted Kingdom”.

Sa kanyang talumpati sa 27th National Conference of Employers sa Manila Hotel noong Martes, sabi ni Arroyo, “Indeed, we have survived and now we will compete and then succeed. We will be in enchanted kingdom.” (Tayo ay nagtagumpay. Tayo ay makipagkumpetisyon. Tayo ay pupunta sa enchanted kingdom.)

Talaga naman, ano.

Ang “enchanted kingdom” ay sa kathang isip lamang. Ang enchanted kingdom ay paraiso. Lahat doon ay masaya, tawanan. Walang gutom, magaganda ang bahay. Magaganda lahat.”

Sabi pa ni Arroyo. “Let’s stay together. Let’s dream together. And what do I mean by being in the Enchanted Kingdom, we can operationalize that? Let’s be among the countries of the First World in 20 years.” (Sama-sama tayo. Sama-sama tayong managinip. At ano ang ibig kong sabihin na nasa Enchanted Kingdom tayo? Sasama tayo sa mga First World countries sa 20 taon.”

Nagkahalataan na. Isip pala niya sa Malacañang pa rin siya hanggang 20 years o siguro habang buhay.

Siyempre binida na naman niya ang kanyang mga numero na nagpapatunay raw na maganda ang ekonomiya sa ilalim ng kanyang pamamalakad. Siyempre hindi niya sinabi ang tindi ng kahirapan ng karamihan ng Pilipino.

Bakit pa ang mga Pilipino ay kailangan pumunta sa ibang bayan, kahit sa mga bayan na delikado katulad ng Iraq para lang mag-trabaho. Bakit ba ang mga nanay ay tinitiis na iwanan ang kanilang mga anak para mag-alaga ng mga anak ng ibang tao sa Hongkong, Singapore at sa Middle East kahit alam na lam na karamihan sa kanila ay nare-rape?

Isa lang ang sagot. Walang makuhang trabaho dito sa Pilipinas. Mamamatay silang dilat ang mata dito sa paraiso ni Gloria Arroyo.

Ang daming mga batang nasa kulungan. Naipalabas ang kanilang kahindik-hindik na kalagayan sa international TV at naisulat sa pahayagan. Marami sa kanila ay ginagamit sa krimen ng pagnanakaw at pagbenta ng droga. Ang mga bata ay dapat naga-aral at nagsasaya. Bakit sila nalulong sa krimen? Bakit sila sa kulungan?

Isa lang ang sagot: kahirapan. Walang maipakain at hindi sila mapag-aral ng kanilang mga magulang.

Ayaw ni Arroyo isulong ang family planning dahil sinusuyo nila ang simbahang Katoliko para kalimutan ang kanyang mga krimeng nagawa sa taumbayan. Ang solusyon niya sa pagdami ng populasyon ay gawing peke ang mga statistics.

Nabawasan raw ang dami ng poulasyon. Minali pala niya ang mga numero. Iyan ang Enchanted Kingdom ni Arroyo. Sama ba kayo?

Ellen, you’re right…an “Enchanted Kingdom” is a place full of hapiness and love, where the people could live without HUNGER and FEAR, and live in HARMONY and PEACE. But how could our BELOVED country be an enchanted kingdom, when all of these characteristics are in complete IRONY. Millions of Filipinos are living in poverty, children are experiencing HUNGER, people are experiencing FEAR from this regime, just look at how these so-called ERAP supporters where FORCEFULLY TAKEN by heavily armed men(GOONS), right in the house of one of the victims, that at first both the AFP Public Relation Office, the PNP, and the ISAFP were denying (to their teeth) that they were the ones involved in the “abduction”, “arrest”, “apprehension”, “invitation”..or whatever term or word they always use everytime they use their “place of authority” in “BULLYING” and “INTIMIDATING” the citizenry, whose only CRIME is the “VOICING OUT” of their dismay over what this GLORIA MACAPAGAL ARROYO’s “kingdomship” corrupt and inept GOVERNANCE. Hindi lang pala sinungaling at mandaraya itong si pandak kundi gaya-gaya pa. Ang huling taong naringgan kong nagsalita ng “Enchanted Kingdom” ay si Bill Clinton noong APEC 1999 nang maglaro siya ng golf sa south island ng New Zealand dahil humanga siya sa kapaligiran ng golf course na pinaglalaruan niya. Paanong magiging enchanted ang bansa natin eh lumalanding ka palang sa airport makikita mo na agad ang mga kinakalawang na bubong ng mga squatters na may nakapatong pang gulong ng sasakyan. Kung ito ang “enchanted” kawawa naman si Snow White at si Cinderella dahil hindi pala naging totoo iyong – En dey lib hapili eber apter!

Last Tuesday, the ISFAP, according to col. kison, the UMDJ 5 was not in the custody of ISAFP, but yesterday, they were caught off-guard, the porstituted AFP of gloria, suddenly presented to the CIDG-DOJ the UMDJ 5, one even showed the torture mark on his body and claimed that his genitals was electrocuted, tsk, tsk, tsk….. are we in the state of martial law??? at first they denied it, per kison, that they dont inm their custody the UMDJ 5, after oresenting them to the media, the DOJ (another prostituted agency of gloria) will file rebellion charges against them. Was it yesterday when sen. jinggoy, in his sppech at the senate that the 5 were in ISAFPs hand??? was it the AFP who said that sen jinggoy has to come up with his evidence that the ISAFP has the UMDJ 5??? now, what can the AFP say now, that in fact the 5 were in their hands and even tortured one (perhaps its only one) to admit that he is and assasin as claimed by the DOJ.

Sa tingin ko napahiya na ang AFP ni gloria, kaya sinampahan na lang ng rebellion ang UMDJ 5.

Question right now is???? is the Philippines under the unproclaimed state of martial law???? everything that is happening to the criticis of the administration is being arrested-without warrant of arrest- ambushed/killed or even tortured to admit everything under the sun.

I call on the Filipino people to wake up, we have to put an end to this shenanigans of gloria and her clowns, we should put a stop on it. BTW, there is an amusement park in the Philippines called “Enchanted Kingdom.” I’m told that a lot many children have been ensnared into some kind of voodoo-voodoo resulting in some of them being literally possessed of the devil, and exorcisms performed on them.

I just read your article in Malaya Online (Our Apathy) and it reminded me of the same description of atrocities committed by US soldiers in Iraq that the AFP soldiers have ionflicted on their own fellow Filipinos, whom they should have been protecting from a suspected criminal.

The truth is I am a member of the International Criminal Tribunal for Iraq where I do translations, and I have a lot of pictures similar to how the wife of the leader of Erap’s group described how her husband and his companions were maltreated and tortured by those soldiers of the AFP whom
Filipinos should condemn.

Over here, in fact, we have submitted petitions for support from members of the Japanese Diet to pressure the Philippine government to free Ka Bel, et al., and stop the killings of journalists, human rightists, et al critical of the present administration of wannabe criminals.

Sorry about the following but just can’t help it and wish to address my sincere disgust towards the major human traficker illegaly occupying the seat of government in the Philippines, no other than the most immoral, the biggest liar, thief and cheat this country has known these last 10 years: GLORIA PUNGGOK MANDARAYA going by the name of President Gloria Pidal Macapagal Arroyo.

Hala! Ginalit niyo si Anna. I wanted to blurt out the same words but being a gentleman that I am, I refrained to do so. Its but proper to allow a lady like Anna to say those words. Pareho naman silang babae. The only difference is that Anna has principles and values and GMA has none of those. “Princess Lai-lai and utak” surely is in dreamland right now while the rest of the nation is having nightmares.

Yes, she is the biggest human trafficker, pushing her citizens to abandon their families in exchange for dollars to keep our sagging economy afloat. In the end, the next generation would end up with broken homes and love for the ever-powerful dollar. This is the reason why we have apathy, everybody is concerned only with self-preservation and love for others and country all thrown out to the gutters.

A mother, a role-model? GMA is none of those. Her legacy is one of corruption, deceit, and total disregard for basic human rights and decency. How I wish each and every Filipino will realize this before we are all drawn into the same hole our leaders are in, devoid of the values that make a nation great.

Anna: I could not help he expletive “tang na” too when I first read the news on Erap’s supporters, one of whom in fact is an officer (Sergeant) of the Manila Police. Pabor ako kung mayroong talagang HitList ang mga rebelde dahil iyan na lang ang pag asa natin na mawala ang hinayupak na Reyna ng Magnanakaw. Isa isahin na ang mga iyan para naman maka bangon ang bansa natin at hindi tayo pinag uusapan ng ibang bansa. Sa mga rebelde or ano pang organisasyon sa atin ay kayo ang may man power at armas bakit hindi ninyo magawa ang binabalak ninyo. Isang granada lang iyan at tapos na ang pag hihirap ng bansa natin. Puro lang kayo salita at kulang sa gawa (NPA.MNLF ETC.).. Ito ang tamang paraan para ipakita ninyo sa mga tao ang iyong pinag lalaban. Hindi iyun mahihirap ang iyung kinukunan ng tax. Hindi lang sira ulo… walang kamalaymalay sa sirang ginagawa niya. Umaasa siya sa foreign investors para magkararoon ng jobs locally ang mga tao. Paano lalapit ang foreign investment kung takot ang mga investor dahil toxic ang climate investment? Kailangan ang lagay sa lahat na panukalang magtayo ng business, bukod sa mga krimeng nagaganap na lantaran laban sa mga ‘destabilizers’.

Ellen, everytime I see that woman I want to retch. So, now she wants the Philippines to be an enchanted kingdom. I think she wants our country like the KSA. Di ba nagpunta yan sa Saudi at siempre nakita niya ang palace dun, so gusto niya ganun din and tirahan niya. How much more can we take of this idiocy from her. By the way, I heard from some Filipinos here who work in the oil company that the security around her during the visit was so tight, and that most of the employees complained because their movement was limited. Yan ang gusto niya, maging reyna. Please, tama na, Gloria.

One thing wrong with the Philippines is that the laws there are drafted, passed and approved only for the benefit of a few vested interests. At least,this is my impression after hearing of how a former Senator, I knew as a child to be brainless, would get a bill passed that he actually did not draft but agree to author for the benefit of some biggie entrepreneur who want to circumvent existing laws with the new law to be introduced by the said senator and asked his friends to approve into a law with konting balato from the money he gets from the lobbyist. Presto, you get a lousy law!

Now, they had laws drafted for them by the Americans based on American laws, but the Filipinos, despite the almost 50 years of US rule actually never became Americanish, and thus, the misinterpretation or mis-implementation of the laws tailored by the Americans unlike when our laws here that were supervised by the Americans when they were drafted, and the defeated Japanese though nodding their heads to the Americans were actually drafting some appendixes to the US-tailored laws with provisions that would make the unwritten laws of Japan based on ancient laws and rules likewise binding.

Also, what the Filipinos lacked at the time of its independence from the US were real concerned, honest and sincere leaders.

I was a young girl in 1952 for example, and though not in grade school yet would hear my parents talk of this and that anomaly during breakfast. In short, even then, there were rampant “kurakot”!

I have also found out in my research for our protest against the sales/lease, etc. of Philippine patrimonies in Japan that there a lot of anomalies regarding the reparations payments of Japan to the Philippines, mostly by Philippine officials who were connected with the negotiations for those payments.

BTW, the Bicolano Congressman Abante, worried about the lesser tong for their support of the Midget versus the planned impeachment claim by the Opposition has been harping lately about the sale of Philippine patrimonies in Japan. What this crook does not know is that any Filipino citizen is allowed by law to file a motion against such sale in Japanese court based on a clause that the Japanese negotiators for the reparations payments made sure to be added to the treaty to protect the rights of Filipinos or the people of the Republic of the Philippines to have a complete say on the disposal and/or development of the properties given to the Philippines as reparations payments declared in 1992 as patrimonies by the Philippine Supreme Court.

In short, buti pa ang mga hapon at naisip na pangalagaan ang karapatan ng bawat isang pilipino di gaya ng mga ibinoboto ng mga pilipino na walang concern sa mga kapwa nila pilipino! Tawag sa mga iyan, mga walanghiya na kurakot pa!!! Di ba nahihiya at nangingilabot ang mga iyan?
