Di bale yan sina Defensor, Pichay at Recto.

I only know Sotto as one of the main show host of Eat Bulaga! He hasn’t done any extraordinary thing that could have made him worthy as a government official! Pang-Eat Bulaga lang siya!

Ano ang tawag sa taong mabilis kumambyo ng kulay tulad ng ginawa niya, from Opposition to B-administration?

    Klarong…Oportunista!

    Pwe!

  2. bitchevil bitchevil

When those idiots ran under the ticket of Evil Bitch, they were promised government positions if they lost. The administration team paid for their campaign and would be rewarded later even if they lost; so they got nothing to lose.
Pichay is itching to be appointed as BOC Commissioner.

He can easily change color, depending on the money being dangled in front of him. PWEEEEEEEEde ba wag na itong pabalikin sa opposition when they come to power.

  5. martina martina

Si Sotto, PWEEEEEEEde bang hindi na yan pablikin sa opposition kung saka sakali na it will come into power.

If you guys remember when Soto was still a Senator, he and his wife were caught bringing in lots of dollars at the US airport. They also own a mansion in San Jose, California.

Millions of the nation’s dollars were spent for the junkets of these hinayupaks while Frank’s victims were left dead on waters for many days, and the poor have no foods on the tables.

No wonder pinoys are living in Tralalaland.

  11. Gabriela Gabriela

Ellen,Chi, pinapahirapan nyo pa ang sarili nyo describing Sotto as “hindi malalim at lista”,

Bakit hindi nyo na lang sabihing “bobo”?

  12. Gabriela Gabriela

Tongue-twisted, I answered your question re P500 million Northrail official.

  13. Chi and everybody,

Although, every now and then when the situation is really infuriating, I allow curses, I’m really uncomfortable with the “P.I” word.

If many of you notice, I have been deleting that phrase in your comments. Let’s spare ourselves the offensive phrase.

  14. bitchevil bitchevil

I don’t see anything wrong with “P.I.” word. What’s wrong with “Philippine Island”? Oh…maybe it means “Pidal Idiot”.

  15. bitchevil, you know what i mean.

  16. spread eagle spread eagle

    Ellen,
If my memory serves me right, that means Mike Defensor’s appointment at the PNOC Petron BOard last year, was a clear violation? How come no one raise this issue?

  17. spread eagle spread eagle

That’s a lot of SOB’s (Sons of Batasan), calling the attention of the empty suits from the Custom’s, how much hot items do these SOB’s brought with them from this junket? Well we dont have to call the attention of the Budget secretary for he was with them.

Did they account to the House what they achieved from this stupid trip? The people has the right to know, they are PUBLIC SERVANT and not PUBLIC ROYALTIES.

  18. Eggplant Eggplant

After all who will take him seriously? Better he will be the spokesman for queen as no one is taking them seriously, and he could really do justice to his role as a clown, “clowning” for the palace. Altogether they can convert Malacanang into a world center for comedy…why not sometimes they do things that make them a laughing stock (all over the world?), he,he.

  19. chi chi

Ok Ellen. Hindi makontrol ang emosyon minsan. Thanks for the reminder, again.

    Gab,

Kaya nga ako nagtatawa e, nahirapan akong maging mabait kay Sotto, heheh!

  20. chi chi

    eggplant,

If true, no more hope for Romy Neri’s dream of going back to NEDA.

I was just kidding, Ellen. I knew the meaning. You’ve been very tolerant with us. I hope others won’t abuse your kindness.

For drug syndicates to control the market, they need people who hold powerful positions in the government. And Sotto could be their man inside. With Sotto as the head of the Dangerous Drug Board, these drug lords would remain untouchable. Remember Sotto was once implicated to have connection with a certain Tiongco, a drug lord. In his younger days, he was a street bump; a member of the notorious Tilt Down Men Combo.

  24. Golberg Golberg

    Babalik ang mga talunan?
Babalik sila para magpatalo ulit o para may ipatalo? O wala lang kasi talo na talaga? 🙂

nag punta ako kanina sa exhibits re the Phil, WW II veterans at na mention na Vice Pres. ng organization who was in Washington DC na sa Congress pa ang Equity Bill..at they still need 60 votes for it to be approved..the trip was for nothing..

  26. rose rose

RE..GMA’s $3,000 dress made of Phil materials..I understand she is promoting it…who can afford to buy the expensive dress..to be able to sell the product, dapat maganda ang model..pero si Gloria? kung sa bagay siya lang ang may kwarta..

  27. Philippine politics, economics, society, peace and order, its all looking like a bad movie…we keep looking for that happy ending or at least a “and justice prevailed” scene even if the leading man takes a hit (I’ve long given up the hope of a big production number ending with singing, dancing and fireworks).
    …but then again, who knows…

  28. nelbar nelbar

Tito Sen or Goma for Sebu Repablique?

  29. Rose, Bunye is now with the Monetary Board It’s Dureza who is now the press secretary.

  30. chi chi

    Rose,

She already promised and boasted of the passing of the bill before the veterans on Bataan Day at Mt. Samat.

Servants accuse an Emirate family of maltreatment in a chic hotel in Brussels

(The servants originated from the Maghreb region, Iraq, Egypt, Indida, the Philippines and Sudan, etc. Grouped according to their religion, muslims on one side and Christians on the other, they don’t have enough beds and had to take turns sleeping for 3 or 4 hours a night. Ther passports were confiscated [by the princess.]…)

I wonder if Amba Ortega has been notified and if she is doing something about this.

Jersey JOurnal 7-8-08: “In April, the US Senate passed the Veterans Equity Bill, which would give Filipino Soldiers veteran status. The House of Representatives is expected to vote on it soon. If passed into law, Filipino veterans will receive the same benefits American veterans receive.”

    Rose,

Some veterans I know have already Parkinsons, Alzheimers or very ill, hindi na nila mahihintay ang EB. Lalo pang nagkakamatay-matay dahil sa kahirapang dala ni Gloriang Korap, sinungaling, mandaraya at magnanakaw!

Salamat at mabuhay si Mr. Diaz.

  40. Anna, I’ll ask people in the DFA re news item that you cited.

  41. Chi, DFA has really degenerated.

You have ambassadors whose concerned is to be citizens of another country. Remember our ambassador to Spain, Lani Bernardo whose wife is Conchitina Sevilla, who applied for Spanish citizenship after his term?

  42. Spread eagle, In Strictly Politics tonight, Pia Hontiveros asked Mike Defensor about his appointment in Petron and he said it’s not included in the constitutional ban because he is representing the private sector although he said it was Gloria Arroyo who put him there.

    Pinapaikot lang tayo.

  43. chi chi

Oo nga, Ellen. And those DFA employees who used to be courageous in exposing DFA anomalies, where are they now? There are insider sources but beyond that NADA.

Dati ay medyo bilib pa ako sa DFA until it turned into a mere GMA propaganda machine and tapunan ng basura ni Gloria.

  44. Thanks, Ellen!

  45. bitchevil bitchevil

FYI…Neri is being appointed at SSS while Ralph Recto at NEDA.

  46. chi chi

    Thanks, bitchevil.

What will Neri do at SSS? Kahit saan basta maipasak sa pwesto so he won’t cry. He’s not qualified at CHED, ganun din sa SSS.

  47. bitchevil bitchevil

What will Neri do at SSS? Sex, Sex and Sex.

  48. chi chi

    Heheheh!

  49. What’s the fuss about the green card of Salas when she has by virtue of her position since 1997 a permanent resident of the Philippines even when she holds a green card to the US as claimed verbally allegedly by her as long as she has not violated the rule on the citizenship of wannabe Philippine ambassadors.

I find worse those designated as ambassadors of the Philippines and claim that they cannot speak Pilipino and act more like foreigners than Filipinos. Worst is the ambassador to Spain for asking the Spanish government to grant him Spanish citizenship while still an ambassador for the Philippines.

There is also a ruling about marrying foreigners while serving as diplomats of the Philippines. By rule, they are supposed to resign and seek employment privately. Delia Domingo is an example even when technically she is very qualified. There should not have been any exemption to the rule especially when it comes to diplomats for fear of espionage, etc.

There is another one with the rank of ambassador likewise whom the Filipino residents of Japan would not like to see assigned back to Japan, and have asked the Japanese Minister of Foreign Affairs not to accreditate in case some idiots in the Philippines deploy her here. I understand that she is hated everywhere she goes, and people wonder now if they can impose that written board exams should not be enough to qualify for positions in the foreign service, but that diplomats should be exemplary and strictly abide to the idea and principle of diplomacy. That Philippine diplomat surely fails in this. She should in fact be sacked.

Truth is they should professionalize the DFA, and lessen the appointees put there by politicians. Likewise, career diplomats should band together to demand for better treatment than what politicians have relegated them to positions of atsoys and tsimays of politicians who, more often than not, get elected only by cheating/vote rigging. Time for these bureaucrats to tell these politicians that they are like them only public servants!!!

  50. andres andres

  51. bitchevil bitchevil

In 2010, it would be the same scenario. Celebrities identified with Malacanang will not win. Less popular candidates from the opposition have better chance. Our only concern is the battle at the top not down at the Senate and Congress. The opposition needs a single presidential candidate to be able to beat Malacanang’s annointed one. But as it is now, there is no unity to speak of.

  52. rontoniotrill4 rontoniotrill4

  53. bitchevil bitchevil

When Sotto joined the administration, he defended GMA by saying that there was no cheating. Yet, Sotto was with FPJ during the campaign and election. At least, Tessie Oreta is more quiet even if she also joined the administration.
