Okay ang ideya ni Ozamis Archbishop Jesus Dorado na hindi magbigay ng holy communion sa mga pulitiko ngunit mali yata ang rason.
Sabi ni Dorado na ang mga pulitiko na sumusulong ng batas para magiging legal ang abortion ay nasa “situation of sin” o nasa a na sitwasyon kaya hindi sila dapat bigyan ng holy communion.
Sa Kristiano lalo na sa mga Katoliko, ang banal na communion ay isa sa pitong sakramento na tinutupad ng mga nanampalataya. Sa communion, tuwing misa, tayo ay pinaalalahan ng sakrispisyo na ginawa ng Panginoon para tayo ay mailigtas sa kapahamakan. Kapag tayo ay mag -communion tinatanggap natin ang Panginoong Jesus sa ating buhay kasama na ang kayang mga itinuro.
Ang isa sa mga itinuro ng Panginoon ay “Thou shalt not kill” o huwag kang magpatay. At para sa kanila ang abortion o anong porma para maiwasan ang isang buhay na mabuo ay pagpatay.
Ang ikinababahala ng Simbahang Katoliko ay ang bill na naka-pending ngayon sa House of Representatives; “ An Act Providing for a National Policy on Reproductive Health, Responsible Parenthood and Population Development.”

Ang nangyayari, maraming Pilipino ang hirap na hirap, hindi makakain ng husto, hindi makapag-aral, tumataas ang kriminalidad.
Sabi ng mga pro-family planning, “Alin ang mas kasalanan, ang mag plano ng pamilya o hayaan magutom ang ating kababayan?”

Ang isa pa rin na utos ng Panginoon ay : Huwag mag-nakaw. (Thou shalt not steal.).
Si Gloria Arroyo ay nagnakaw ng boto na hindi para sa kanya noong 2004 elections. Bago pa diyan, inagaw niya ang pagka-presidente noong Enero 2001. Walang pinagka-iba yun sa panghu-hold up.

I know we should not judge as to what others do..but while there is a sin of commission there are also what we call sins of scandal and sins of omission. Cebu Archbishop Ricardo Cardinal Vidal on Wednesday urged legislators who support the “Deaths” bills to search their conscience and decide whether or not to receive communion.

If the Catholic church is against this bill they should hold a protest rally. A protest rally is not MEDDLING in the affairs of government but an expression of your disapproval.
Compare a CBCP protest rally versus CBCP visiting unanong ahas in her stolen office. If you call or visit unanong ahas or any politicians you are compromising your independence because they will only support you if you support them. If you do protest rally you are dealing in an even keel with politicians. You are demanding something from them. If they give in to your demand in a protest rally you are not obligated to support them, the politicians. See the difference.
Mahatma Gandhi during his time lead a non violence resistance because of injustices in his homeland. Did he hold a non violence rally to protest the injustices that pervaded India during his time? Definitely! Is that meddling in government affairs? Holding a protest rally?
So, that’s why CBCP should hold a protest rally instead of meddling in government affairs. Is non violent protest rally part of freedom of speech enshrine in our constitution? Is it?
