Little black president pa.

I think Mayor Binay of Makati City is well prepared and qualified to be President of the RP. He may well be what we need to stamp out this pervasive graft and corruption. With his survey rating down in the bottom, it is but right that he starts his campaign early. He should make known his plans to as many people as possible. I await what he has to say about his plans. I hope he has many in store for the likes of gloria and all corrupt government officials.

  2. Can Jojo Binay unite the opposition ?

It’s hard to tell — especially when we don’t even know the temperature at which water boils.

While others worry that politicians who want to be the next president are getting dumber, I’m excited about a future in which Binay is one of the smartest people in the country. His accomplishment in Makati will win Nobel Prizes in economics and government, like kickassedness and noyoudidntity. He can run an Ivy League university solely based on his insights:

If Obama is considered by many American as Black Jesus Christ.
I can see the “Birth of Pinoy Jesus” in Jojo Binay and I don’t know if those CBCP bishops who are calling for radical change will agree with me.If they don’t I won’t drop any change on their offertory box.Hehehe!

It’s a strategy cooked up by the Erap camp. Binay is ripe for Vice President but not President. Binay is only popular in Metro Manila. I think the purpose of his declaration is to feel the pulse of the people and unmask those who don’t unite with the opposition. While Villar, Legarda and Escudero reacted positively, Mar Roxas warned that the opposition would not be united; and each one would go his own way. With his comment, I think Erap would erase Roxas’ name from the list.

Erap has never been serious in running again in 2010. It’s a bluff. If indeed he makes good his intention when the opposition fails to come up with one single candidate, then he is justified in running. An Erap-Binay team is not too bad.

  4. chi chi

Trillanes was at the bottom of the survey also when he announced his senatorial bid. Well, his story was different from Binay. But, who knows?

  5. bitchevil bitchevil

Maybe the Pinays would vote for Binay. The campaign slogan “Pinay for Binay” would be a good one.

Binay is no saint, he used to be a “struggling” lawyer in his younger days. But after so many years as mayor of Makati, he too accumulated a lot of wealth. I remember a book written by his nemesis, Bobby Brillantes In the book, Brillantes has exposed the corruption of Binay and has identified several properties and other “hidden wealth” of Binay. I’m not saying that what’s written in the book were true or should be accepted as gospel truth but the mere fact that such allegations has been going around for several years now should be looked into or investigated. There’s a saying.. “where there’s smoke, there’s fire.” Having said that, I very much agree too, that Binay, for all his short comings (no pun intended) has made Makati one of the best cities in the country.
I always believe that most politicians in this country are crooks. Most used their positions in getting themselves rich, but there are two types of them “crooked” politicians. One type steals but at the same time, also work hard for their constituents. The other type just steals and and doesn’t give a damn what happens to their constituents.

  7. Mike Mike

    Will Binay unite the opposition?

I doubt, no such thing as “unity” in Philippine politics. The opposition congressman and senators can’t even agree on so many things, the latest of which is the impeachment case against GMA. Everyone, whether pro or anti has their own agenda in mind. In fact these same traits can also be seen beyond our shores. For example, in Guam, there are I think around 250k Pinoys living in that island state. If you think about it, with such numbers, the whole Pinoy community could have voted into office a Pinoy senator, etc. But then, there are so many factions and groups opposing each other. Quite sad no?

  8. bitchevil bitchevil

Nowadays, it’s close to impossible to find a public official 100% clean. The least corrupt also succumbs to so called “padrino system”. One needs to be flexible in entering politics.

Someone mentioned that Binay’s problem is his close association with Erap who was convicted of plunder. The question is: Is it advantageous or disadvantageous to be supported by Erap? Given the mass support and his popularity, the answer is advantageous. In fact, all opposition candidates hope for Erap’s endorsement. On the other hand, any candidate endorsed by the Evil Bitch and Malacanang will certainly be rejected by the people.

  9. “Malawak ang karanasan ni Binay sa pakikibaka laban sa diktaturya at corruption.”

This explains why he still believes that Erap is not guilty of plunder.

If we are still looking at Erap as the strong man to unite the opposition, I think we are trapped in the cycle of corruption. We need to define the true opposition, hindi yung balat-kayo lang.

I met Binay a few times and I may even be taller than him(when on heels…heh, heh, heh). This man may be small but may sinabi din kahit papaano. He may be the Robinhood of Makati. Get from the rich and give to the poor!

I agree that the pronouncement of his candidacy may just be testing the waters for an opposition candidate.

Two years ago Obama was virtually an unknown. After a brief stint as a congressman, he immediately eyed at the senatorial seat. In his brief senatorial position he was known to have abstained from a lot of critical voting. In other words he was playing safe almost all the time. But he was very focused in his quest for a higher office. He was so focused on which segment of the population he wanted to bouy him up! He knew the people to summon for support. He showed his genuine support for the middle class and he is very smart! He is a phenomenon! He got very lucky too because he ran when the dissatisfation sentiment of the people was at its highest. It could have been any other Democatic candidate and the Americans would have voted for any opposition candidate anyway.

Binay is very visible. He is already a “politician”! Although he may be a smart and hardworking mayor, he had his records of corruption, nepotism and close association to Erap. Obama was an “unknown”! Maybe it is just the color of his skin that is akin to that of Obama’s and nothing else.

Binay’s supporters should have a little bit more of an “originality”. Huwag naman gaya gaya lang. His being an effective Mayor of the richest city in the Philippines where he got an International recognition as one of the Best Mayors in the world (although Fernando Bayani’s wife in Marikinina already made it to another International list-I wonder if it was the same List) should be a good enough start. I would supoort him based on that rather than the Hot Pink Bayani!

  12. parasabayan parasabayan

I personally prefer that Erap stays away from running again in the 2010 elections. He should do a “Hillary Clinton” by endorsing the opposition candidate instead whoever he or she may be! The opposition should also control their ambitions by not running all at the same time and splitting the votes as it was in Lacson’s quest for presidency. Kaya lang nanganganib talaga ang 2010 elections. With a Tongress that is dominated by the evil bitches’ cronies, a Supreme Court which will soon be filled up by almost all her appointees, anything and everything is possible for the evil bitch to do another unthinkable number! Didn’t she succeed in using the Left and the Military and the civil society to oust Erap? Her lap dogs Reyes and Davide sealed the sweet victory for her. That was not enough. In 2004, didn’t she use the military again to rig the election to secure her win by employing the asspweron to do the dirty work for her? Thus the “Hello Garci”! Then again, she tested the Cha cha train by using the same lap dog asspweron to shove the MoA through to ensure that she can change the 1987 constitution. It was just aborted by her own supposedly “supporters”, ironically.

Our only hope to have an election is to make sure that this evil bitch is guarded in all fronts to make sure that that she does not pull another stunt from her hat! A vigilant nation of over 90 million can do it! As Obama had said “YES WE CAN”! If the US could go though the barriers of “race” which the black people fought for over 100 years, the Philippines can pick a President who can have the “unifying” factor but someone cleaner that any of the traditional “trpos”!

Jobama Binay for President 2010! He is a real opposition. I want to see a Binay-Lacson tandem.

I think Joe Burgos’ WE Forum’s printing plant was raided and padlocked by Marcos’ Gestapo agents in December 1982. Ang Pahayagang Malaya began publishing after the release of Joe Burgos Jr. from prison.

Jojo Binay is the better timber among the opposition wannabets and can hurdle all the mounting blocks true and imagined. I laud all his supporters of all the efforts they will contribute. Gogo Jojo. But I will be the water boy behind Bongbong for I respect the word faithfulness as a principle.

  16. chi chi

I like what Binay did…declared his intention this early.

Tingnan na lang the three branches of the government ngayon, maliwanag na may mga lagayan.

  18. Isagani Isagani

  19. bitchevil bitchevil

Forget about Bush! He might not have been involved in corruption; but his aides and Republicans were charged for various corruption offenses. He did not steal election; but his brother, the Florida Governor Bush, could have been instrumental in the Florida cheating. The case was only resolved by the US Supreme Court on a close 5-4 votes.

  20. bitchevil bitchevil

Most of all, Bush’s biggest sins to the American people as well as to the entire world was that he initiated the invasion of Iraq.

Now, Toney and Cocoy could disagree but I don’t care. Let them support Palin for President in 2012. By then, Palin would be a lot sexier and more attractive to the male voters. Joe the Plumber won’t no longer be called such…but Joe the Adviser.

  21. chi chi

Forget Bush, tapos na yan. Forget Palin, US senator ang takbo niya sa 2012. Let’s be vigilant of Gloria, yan ang salot sa Pinas na dapat ay tapusin na rin.

  22. One good thing about Binay, totoong tao siya. He visits his poor constituents EVERY morning. Before the shanties along the railroad were cleared, he would be seen there early in the morning in his short pants with little Junjun in tow. He would walk from his old house in Palanan to the tracks then on to Pasay Road for breakfast somewhere in Makati Square or Mile Long. He’d also make regular visits along the more depressed areas in Pasong Tamo, Tenejeros, Sta. Ana, etc and everywhere he goes, poor folk would hand him or his aides written requests, petitions and solicitations which were always responded to. A typical mayor’s routine.

I think he learned that from former Pasay Mayor Cuneta who held the post for 33 years. Cuneta made sure all complaints, requests, solicitations were all acted upon. That earned him enough supporters to keep him in office, never mind if the city’s communities never progressed and even accelerated its decay. Binay however saw to it that progress sould work for all sectors, especially for the investors who pay his city’s taxes and kept the funds flowing.

But Binay as president? Well, until he can convince me that the high-end condo units (from the past projects that I was in) that were said to have been concessions in exchange for billions worth of occupancy permits are mere rumors, I won’t vote for him.

  23. Toney Cuevas Toney Cuevas

    bitchevil:

Why are you keep attacking Honorable President George Bush? Your statement is misleading, “Bush’s biggest sins to the American people as well as to the entire world was that he initiated the invasion of Iraq.”

It’s not that I want to disagree with you, just want to set the record straight, with the lie that you seems to ignore completely as long as that you get the chance to trash an honorable President. Invasion of Iraq was approved by the U.S. Congress, if you’ve the understanding of the US Constitution on the declaration of war. You need to educate yourself first, to what lead to invasion of Iraq. How it came about and what Saddam Hussein did to exterminate his own people.

Why again, you keep degrading Governor Sarah Palin, an honorable woman, happily married with five children and one of her oldest son is in the military station in Iraq. What has she done to your ego to deserve your unrelenting attack on her?

bitchevil, you should care, only because you’re spreading lies about those two honorable people.

By the way, the topic is about Binay.

  24. Toney Cuevas Toney Cuevas

Dream on! Mayor Binay is just another Pilipino politician as I see it, just happened to be on the opposite side of wh*re Gloria. I no longer trust anyone in Philippines politics until I’m proven wrong, I just seen too many dissapointment. As I see it first, all of them, Pilipino politicians need to do lots of many years of convincing before I get on board to their way of thinking. Them, politicians, as to my opinion, has no credibility. They just use their power and position, not because they love their country, they do it for their own self-interest and to get their enemies. Laughable to even compare Binay to Obama, since Obama has not done anything notable, except got elected.

  25. bitchevil bitchevil

Why are you so offended by my criticism of Bush, Toney? Is he your godfather? Even Americans themselves attack Bush worse than I do. If you really cared about him, you should have helped him improve his popularity rating. Or you want to borrow the Evil Bitch’s line that popularity is not important as long as the President gets things done. What has Bush done? Poor McCain. A good decent man has to retire for being linked to the world’s biggest terrorist.

By the way, I still cannot forget your inclusion of my sisters in our recent exchanges. Toney, we share the same opinion about GMA; but differ with Bush. We don’t always have to agree…but don’t include my family members!

  26. bitchevil bitchevil

And by the way, for many Bush is not Honorable. You can address him as “Honorable” if you want.

  27. Thanks, Tongue, for the tidbits on Binay. Medyo uneasy din ako sa kaniya sa totoo lang for all the family corporation they seem to have established at the Makati City Hall.

As far as I am concerned, any product of this corrupt generation of Filipinos unless one detaches himself from the system and is exceptionally different, should not be nominated nor voted for office, especially for the position in the palace by the murky river.

Meanwhile, kailan ba talaga magkakalakas ng loob ang mga pilipinong sipain si Gloria Dorobo who should be arrested and charged with the same corruption cases against that US official named “Jefferson” such as racketeering, bribery, obstruction of justice, moneylaundering, embezzlement of public funds, etc.

    Kawawang Pilipinas talaga!

  28. BE:

Majority of US citizens now admit that Bush is the worst president the US has ever had. Pati bad rating ng tatay niya, na-surpass niya.

As for Palin, sobrang ambisyosa ng aleng iyan. Groping in the dark, ‘ika nga.

Gustong maging Maggie Thatcher, hindi naman bagay. At least, si Maggie matalino—chemist from Oxford U at saka with honors nang nag-graduate.

My family in fact is traditionally Republican. I would have kept the family tradition. Pero sabi ko naman, no way kung extension lang siya ni Dubya re policy toward the countries the US invaded ala-Hitler’s German Army.

  29. bitchevil bitchevil

Bush is the most hated US President as Gloria is the most hated RP President. It’s on the record. Why this Toney doesn’t like my criticism of Bush, well, he’s among those Republican losers.

Even Toney’s favorite woman Palin told media that their defeat was largely due to Bush. What’s there to argue about Toney?

  30. florry florry

Binay? If the evil bitch is a candidate, I’ll go for him, but as things stand now I have no comment. I still need a lot of time to think about it.

  31. I have heard so many criticisms against Binay. But I can see some of his strong points:

    -fearless
    -TRUE oppositionist
    -human rights advocate

  32. Isagani Isagani

Uy, ano ba kayo.

  33. bitchevil bitchevil

Bush will always be an issue. When you speak of Obama and McCain, Bush’s name will always be mentioned. Just like when you mention about Binay or any presidential candidate, the Evil Bitch’s name would be included.

  34. gapoboy gapoboy

  36. Mike Mike

Admittedly, among the so called opposition “leaders” that we now have. Si Binay lang ang matapang at consistent being a true opposition. Now wether he still is a “human rights advocate”, well he USED to be one during the Marcos era. Yes, tutoong opposition nga itong si Binay unlike the other wannabes who has moist eyes for the highest office of the land, walang dating, malamya at parang mga bading. Di sila sigurado sa kanilang mga sarili. Kaya if the election will be held today at walang ibang alternative opposition candiates, no choice but to vote for Binay. Sana lang may lumitaw pa na ibang mas qualified.

Binay says he’s the Dark Horse in 2010. Well, he’s dark but not a horse.

Binay is of course better than the Evil Bitch. Any candidate is better than her and her annointed one in 2010.
I prefer Lacson-Binay and not Binay-Lacson. Lacson is ripe for presidency while Binay is not. But then, Lacson and Erap have not fully reconciled. Erap wants to be courted while it’s not Lacson’s character to court and ask favor.

Who says Erap is the reason why people don’t want to overthrow Gloria? It’s because of Erap that there’s still Opposition today. Erap cannot do it alone to overthrow the Bitch. He needs the church and military support.

  53. chi chi

I long for the day when Pinas election is decided by the people alone and no military and church involvement. Not in this lifetime for sure.

  54. bitchevil bitchevil

Military especially the church will always be involved.

  55. deanr deanr

  56. ipaglaban_mo ipaglaban_mo

    are u saying binay is a bull sh*t artist? i don’t think so… but, obama is… 🙂

obama kept his nose clean all those years as a senator because he’s scared to pick controversial issues that would ruin his name. he’s got no cajones, that’s how he kept himself untainted. 🙂

  57. chi chi

Do you remember an instance when Binay was frightened by the threats coming from the impaktang pandakekak or bulok na puno?

OK lang si Binay o si Lacson o si Gen. Lim.

  58. masha masha

    chi,

  59. masha masha

obama is still a politician. he was just able to market himself as an outsider (and therefore an agent of change). it’s crazy (and scary) how some people think he can do no wrong. on of his most recent moves smacks of cronyism-he is trying to influence the gov of illinois to appoint obama’s close aide and confidante, valerie jarrett, as his replacement in the u.s. senate. that’s just same-old same-old. the gov would certainly have to consider the wishes of the president, lest he loses the latter’s support for future projects or something.

  60. chi chi

    masha,

ang pinag-uusapan natin ang erap factor sa “overthrowing” of the bitch, hindi eleksyon ni erap. “erap is the big reason why people are not keen on overthrowing gloria”. that’s what you said. The middle-class does not make “people” as a whole, nor the masa.

  61. bitchevil bitchevil

Masha, from what planet did you come from? Where did you get that information that Erap shot and killed the popular basketball player Tuadles? If that was true, it would have been all around the four corners of the Philippines. Get a better story!

  62. bitchevil bitchevil

The Philippines has no strong middle class…actually none. The Philippines is composed mostly the poorest and the richest the latter of which comprise 10%. Erap is loved by the 80% poor and hated by the 10% elite.

  63. masha masha

    TonGuE-tWisTeD,

ang kagandahan sa campaign ni obama is that it was a movement-ground up not top down. kaya kailangan ng transformational leader. people were so excited (and worried that another repub would take over) that they got over any qualms to knock on doors, make phone calls and talk to people about obama.

and they were organized. each block was accounted for and they knew on whom they can count.

at invesco field, tickets were given to those who pledge to make phone calls to their friends. they were also able to gather emails from their events to beef up their database. these are the people they sent fundraising emails asking for 5$ a piece. at pag may event na nakakainis, tulad ng speech ni palin sa convention, hala email kaagad at donate naman ang mga tao. 10 million in 24 hours.

  64. chi chi

    be,

Sino ba si Tuadles aside from being a basketball player as you said at pagtitiyagaan siyang ipa-kill ni erap?

  65. masha masha

    bitchevil,

nakakawalang gana sumama sa rally pag nandun si erap. he was ousted for corruption. that’s part of the reason why there’s no middle class support for recent moves to oust gloria.

sure, as i;ve said if erap runs again, he will win because of the masa. no argument there.

point is i dont like erap and i hate gloria. we need to look elsewhere for new leadership.

  66. masha masha

    chi,
gambling ang connection. di nag-ca-casino ang lolo?

    nagkapikunan. nayabangan. ayun.

  67. masha masha

    chi,
i should have used middle class instead of people. you are right. excuse me for that.

“out of election” overthrow does not come from the masa. parang people power, hindi yun masa.

  68. masha masha

now i’m not sure about binay.

i;d rather have somebody who can inspire and release the goodness in people so everybody takes the responsibility that we are all in this together, and that the future of the least among us be made just as important as those who have the best in life.

  69. chi chi

    masha,

  71. bitchevil bitchevil

Erap didn’t have to shoot and kill someone as popular as Tuadles. Erap could always order his bodyguards. Anyway, it happened in San Juan and a place owned by Erap; so a cover up could be possible. But then, why was this not played in the media? Not all the media were for Erap. In fact, most including the giant networks were anti-Erap then.
I’ve a huge circle of friends and acquaintances many of whom are with Erap camp. This Tuadles incident happened years ago. I should have known this.

  72. bitchevil bitchevil

Whether the rumor was true or not, anti-Erap groups could have used it to attack Erap in 1998 when Erap ran for Presidency…or even today. But we never heard about the rumor…just from you, masha.

  73. kabute kabute

I suggest we listen to what Mayor Binay says about his plans or what he intends to do. Same goes with Sen. Lacson and the rest of those who would aspire to be President of RP. Though offhand we could immediately eliminate those that really do not deserve our votes, say, anybody gloria and her cabal endorses or supports or anyone who works for gloria, say the likes of santiago, enrile, teodoro, nograles, mitra and many more. We’d be fools to do so.

  74. chi chi

    Thanks, be.

  75. ASIII ASIII

kaya ko nang palampasin you having the nerve to compare yourself with Obama

  76. bitchevil bitchevil

More on Tuadles: Why would Ambet Antonio owned up the killing for Erap when he had his security personnel with him? One of his bodyguards could have admitted the crime and go to jail instead of Antonio. Anyway, masha said it was a rumor…so it remains a rumor.

  77. be, chi, masha,
That issue came out in the Senate hearings prior to Erap’s impeachment. In fact, it was the Indian guy Danny Devnani and his handler, (I forgot the name of the Ilocano lawyer who was said to be an NPA scholar who also one of the private volunteer-lawyers in the impeachment hearings)who was supposed to have presented him to the Senate but the group of Drilon was not impressed with the Indian because some of his businesses in San Juan were illegal he blames Erap for closing them down. He would therefore be just seen as sourgraping and would not strengthen their case against Erap’s supposed corruption.

Devnani used to own the bar where Tuadles was shot by Antonio. He was shused by the lawyers when he was being interviewed by media as he said he knows who really killed Tuadles, obviously hinting at Erap. The shushing was simply an act to make it look that the lawyer did not approve of him making that comment while letting fly a new rumor that they hoped would spread. It didn’t; looks like only masha here picked it up.

Back to Tuadles, Tuadles at that time was already hard-up and earned money by neing a “tirador” in bigtime gambling. I used to see him drinking Cuatro Cantos regularly with old pals and co-PBA has-beens Reymonte, ex-Ginebra players Jimmy and Pablo Javier in Villa-San, a basketball dirtcourt (lupa, not paved) 2 blocks from my house. Tuadles was dumped by his wife for his vices and was addicted to gambling. He looked unkempt though he still drives his old Toyota Crown.

Tuadles also sleeps in whorehouses owned by his Cebuano-kababayans in my barangay but when he is called for his “pusoy expert” services, he would get a percentage of the winnings or a minimal fee if he loses. Simply, not the type of person that Erap would even spend time with, much less kill for, right? Masha might have confused that story on Erap with Atong Ang who shot and killed a guy in a cockpit.

I believe the other story that Ambet shot Tuadles for deliberately losing Ambet’s money which he had left him to get some sleep. When he came back, all the money was gone and he can’t believe he was even indebted to his opponents. And if you know the awesome amounts of money these guys play with, I’d say that would be something to die and kill for.

  78. bitchevil bitchevil

Tongue, you seem to know as much if not more than I do. Tuadles even in his PBA days was reported to be involved in game fixing. Then, San Juan Vice Mayor Philip Cesar was also his drinking buddy.

About Atong Ang killing someone in a cockpit, I didn’t know about that. I only remember that he got into a fight with a Congressman at the cockpit. Atong’s bodyguards beat up that Congressman.

Erap was then Vice President aiming for Presidency. Why would he hang out with an undesirable guy like Tuadles?

  79. Sorry for the long tsismis, este, comment.

In Manolo’s latest blog entry, he said that he, together with some bloggers including our ellenite Ambet/AWB,and Ria Jose, Marck Rimorim aka Marocharim, and blogger-lawyer (Jun Lozada’s) Edwin Lacierda, Ret. Gen. Abat, and some other individuals have signed as interventionists in the impeachment complaint in order to include the MOA-AD fiasco as an impeachable offense committed by Gloria Arroyo.

The leftist oppositionists have rejected the request to endorse their intervention because we all know that Satur Ocampo was in that same uneasy flight with Kirstie Kenney to Malaysia. That opened my eyes (finally) on what these communists’ agenda really is – to weaken our country to make it easier for them to conquer. Though Matias Defensor who heads the House Committee on Justice was quick to dismiss the move as a “new” complaint therefore invalid, the signatories persist that this item be included and hope that the legitimate opposition endorses it on Monday as Defensor’s committee will meet on Tuesday.

I’m intrigued by a letter that Manolo is sending to all the congressmen, each containing a CD which covering letter also says on the latter part:

May I respectfully invite you, then, to endorse our intervention, so that ample opportunity may be provided for the President of the Philippines to air her side, and for the public to be informed, through you, once and for all, about the circumstances surrounding the agreement.

I am confident that you will respond to the overwhelming clamor of the citizenry, throughout the country but particularly in Mindanao, for public policy to be conducted in good faith, without recklessness and imprudence, and with the true interests of the nation at heart and not just partisan political convenience for the administration.

May I also invite you, on behalf of myself and my colleagues, Jarius Bondoc and William Esposo of the Philippine Star, Ellen Tordesillas of Malaya, and Manuel Buencamino of The Business Mirror, to state, for the record, your response to these two questions:

    1. How do you intend to vote on the impeachment complaint already filed before the House? Will you be present at the committee level and plenary voting on these charges?

    2. Are you in favor of including the BJE-MOA among the impeachment charges, and why or why not.

We trust you will give your answer to us by Wednesday so we can publish them.

Could you please enlighten us, Ellen?

    ***********

BTW, My hat’s off to our fellow bloggers Manolo Quezon, Ambet, Marck, Ria, Richard, Atty. Edwin and the others who are showing the youth (and old folks too) that if there is some good we can do out of the many hours we spend in blogging, it is by direct action and not mere words that will help us achieve our goals. Let’s walk the talk, walk the talk, walk the talk.

  80. parasabayan parasabayan

May we have more of Manolos and Ellens! The youth should also be as vigilant! Obama won because of the surge of very young idealistic first time voters. I hope that our country’s youth will do the same. It is not too early or even too late to start a crusade to clean up the country via any legitimate means, impeachment or elections.

  81. parasabayan parasabayan

Itf there will clearly be elections in 2010, I am willing to come home to my country and campaign for whoever it is I believe in to lead our country using my own resources!

  82. masha masha

    thanks for that tongue,
nope, am not the only one who believes it plausible. i did hang around with ‘government lawyerly types’ who get around who spoke about it. but that’s beside the point. the point is the middle class/the ones who went to edsa 1 & 2, are not encouraged (to say the least) when they see erap carrying the banner of the opposition. again, if he runs, i think he will win.

youre right bitchevil, it is a rumor. but it is one of the rumors and the many objections to erap leading an opposition to gma.

cant we find a better, more credible leader?

  83. bitchevil bitchevil

I never trust the leftists and the militant groups. Don’t tell me they are not also corrupt. They are not there to improve the government but to overthrow it regardless who the leader is. It’s about ideology, nothing else.

  84. masha masha

    bitchevil,
re: Erap was then Vice President aiming for Presidency. Why would he hang out with an undesirable guy like Tuadles?

erap is charismatic but he is a careless man. he thinks he can get away with inappropriate behavior.

one time when he had to sign papers, lenny de jesus approached him for something and as she left, he turned his head to look at her legs and then he looked at his visitors and did a lecherous “mmm” complete with raising his eyebrows. those visitors were not from his inner circle and could talk but he didnt care. there are so many stories like this and that’s not including those times when he was drunk.

  85. bitchevil bitchevil

Erap was a womanizer and he loves women. Erap’s lack of education and street manners continued even as President. He liked to drink and gamble. But, people knew all these vices way back as a Mayor and they have learned to accept him not only for his good points but also his bad points.

  86. masha masha

unfortunately, his womanizing and drinking not to mention his uncouth ways affected the way he governed.

  87. masha masha

at the beginning erap inspired a lot of people. the davids were among this group. but as the days and months passed by, they realized he was all talk and that his desire to help the poor is not backed up by resolve. he was petty and insular.

  88. bitchevil bitchevil

Erap is like Marcos. Well anyway, what about Dolphy? Wasn’t he a womanizer yet is well loved by people up to this day? Remember “John & Masha”?

  89. masha masha

erap at times couldnt get up in the morning and attend to official functions because he was drinking until 4am. and when lacquian joked about the drinking, erap fired him and pointedly removed his security immediately. mar roxas stepped in to make sure lacquian got to the airport safely and that no “accidents” en route occured.

erap has his good points, and perhaps, the sc unduly considered him resigned, and that gma is worse than he is, but he was in no means a good president.

  90. masha masha

oooh, seems like erap is not the only petty one.

  91. masha masha

dolphy, i hope, will not run for any office. i remember him saying he’s scared he would win, and then what would he do.

  92. bitchevil bitchevil

Erap was a toughie not only in the movies but real life. But, he has a very good heart especially for the poor.

  93. chi chi

    tongue,

Thanks very much, wala akong alam dun ah!

Erap is not my guy, sa mga Ellenville residents nuon pa ay alam iyan. And I believe that Erap is many things but I am more than 100% sure that he is not a killer or will never ask someone to kill for him.

  94. bitchevil bitchevil

Chavit Singson’s claim that Erap wanted him killed during a traffic light stop by the Police was also a lie. Singson rides in a bullet proof van and backed up by several convoys of security.

During Edsa 2, Erap’s Presidential Security at the Palace wanted to shoot the civilians outside the gate; but Erap did not allow them. Instead, Erap left Malacanang to avoid blood shed. What he did was similar to what Marcos did during 1986 Revolt when he turned down Gen. Ver’s request to bomb and shoot the people at Edsa. Now, do you think the Evil Bitch would voluntarily leave the Palace if there’s going to be another People Power?

  95. atty36252 atty36252

I’ve read the Supreme Court decision about Tuadles. Erap was in Tagaytay when that happened; so said the trial court.

  96. chi chi

Close case naman pala. Thanks, atty.

  97. bitchevil bitchevil

That’s why I don’t understand why this Masha brought it up.

you also mentioned Philip Cezar, would you believe I slept in his house beside his wife’s (April) grandma and bro-in-law Jay? Hahaha! Jay was a former classmate who refuses to drive when drinking. Since I didn’t drive yet back then, we’d just sleep over at Philip’s after downing a few beers while waiting for the drag races in Greenhills.

  102. We should support the intervention on the impeachment complaint that Manolo Quezon and other bloggers filed. I’ll be writing about it in the coming days.

I’m sorry that I have not attended to it yet because I’m so busy with personal matters.
