I downloaded Angelina’s “Beyond Borders” with Clive Owens. Beautiful movie indeed. I can say I have seen all her movies including that one on the Texan governor.

There is nothing more admirable than “Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie…setting examples of how celebrities should use their fame and fortune to make this world a little better especially for the less privileged.”
Quite commendable, surely! However, removing unfortunate kids from the original biological parents or breaking family or exploiting the less priviledged poor is something to be considered also. At the same time, why not provide assistance to the entire family, including mom and pop if need be. There is no doubt that Brangelina can provide a better future for those children in which otherwise, probably, they’ll never have. In any case, I’m glad to see that both Brangelina are caring for those less fortunate kids.
Cambodian Maddox and Ethiopian Zahara were orphans when Angelina Jolie adopted them. Zahara’s mother died of Aids.

Thanks for clarifying it. I heard so much horror story about others taking the kids away from the real family since the family couldn’t afford to provide to the kids. A human travesty. I heard and read that Jolie adopted a kid in Africa while the parents still much alive. Is that the same child, Ethiopian Zahara?
I m also against the kind of thing done by Madonna re the child recommended to her to adopt. She will be in a great trouble for that later on no doubt. And for the kind of background Madonna has, I would not trust that child to her. At least, in the case of Jolie, the children she has adopted seems to have been a good influence on her, even in her choice of roles to play in the movies.
You bet, I know what it is to adopt a child. Fortunately, God has given me one of my own before I even thought of adopting one. But there is a doctor in our church who takes care of unwanted children. What he does his tell those unwed mothers to keep their babies and let him deliver and keep their babies instead of aborting them while still inside the tummies of their moms. Then, he looks for parents in our church to bring up those unwanted babies. I have actually helped in doing the paperworks for the adoption of those children so they can be taken with the adopting parents, who are mostly Americans, to take them home to America when their stints in Japan are over.
I do not think that adopting parents should be burdened with supporting parents who do not need them. That’s too much especially when the parents are in countries with governments with bad policies as in Africa and yes, the Philippines, where the government do not have healthier policies to uplift the poor from poverty that is more often than not even government or self-inflicted.
It is about time to save the Filipinos for example from being permanent parasites!!!
Something to consider, children are not somekind of commodity that can be bargain with of given away, they’re also human being brought on this earth for a real purpose. Of course, not the kind of bogus Gloria. How about Woody and Mia’s adopted girl, the one that Woody exchanged for Mia.
This actress has her heart in the right place.

The Sunday big event in Luneta is nothing but a CBCP prayer rally. What type of prayer being called is anyone guess. But, prayer is not going to work if it’s what we’re hoping for. It’ll take more than a prayer to rid of bogus Gloria. I’d imagine the people of the Philippines, at least many of them has been praying daily even the Priest and heads of their congregation, yet bogus Gloria still remain in Malacanang. Prayer is not the answer, and undoubtedly we all know what need to be done without so many words being said. Furthermore, their is life beside bogus Gloria even though she’s the major issue at hand.
I seldom make wishes in life; but one wish that I would like to see fulfilled is to see GMA be ousted in shame! Whatever Marcos and Erap had experiences and suffered even if both were the most evil in the eyes of their detractors, I hope to see this Gloria suffer 100 times more. If she’s dead and in grave, I may even spit on her and kick her tomb.
Today, some of you might have read in the papers that some GMA allies led by Jaraula are calling for Erap’s release and freedom. Why only now? A day after the rally? Why only now when their Cha-Cha was dumped by SC and the people? Obviously, the call is to soften the anger of the people majority of whom are Erap fans. Most if not all Erap fans were also FPJ supporters.
I also suspect that El Shaddai and INC, two groups closely identified with Erap called again for Erap’s release. At least for INC, Manalo has long been asking that Erap be placed on house arrest. When those INC officials visited GMA in Malacanang, Erap’s release might be one of the conditions.
Friends, whatever your stand is, and it should be respected, the Sunday Big Event will go ahead as scheduled.
And here’s a WARNING that just came in!
Already, they have attempted all sorts of tricks – from disinformation to outright threats, to reduce the expected mass of outraged people who will show up at the Prayer Rally at Luneta on December 17, in the hope of
trivializing the whole exercise.
The Malacanang text brigade is working overtime. First, a flurry of messages saying this was no longer about Con-Ass; it’s now about good governance. This was followed by messages that claim Bro. Mike will be giving a thanksgiving prayer for GMA, and that she might even attend. (At least, they believe that GMA’s attendance is a guaranteed turn-off for many people).
Then came out an intelligence report about a possible terrorist attack at the Luneta. When asked by a radio commentator, “are you now telling the people not to go, then?” The AFP spokesperson replied, “well… it’s up to
them. We warned them and if anything happens to them, then they can’t blame us.”

That’s why it’s important for all of us to go and be counted. That’s why it’s important for all of us to invite as many others as we can to show that we will not take these serious threats to our democratic way of life sitting down.
Our numbers on Sunday will determine the path this administration takes. A formidable number will make them rethink their fascist ways. But a mediocre showing will only embolden them to continue raping, not just the
constitution, but our sense of decency and dignity as a people.
There is a time to say, enough already. The time has come to act. Now na!

I hate to break the fun here, but, I just read in The Daily Tribune that “Rep. Constantino JARAULA (Cagayan de Oro) who is chairman of the committee on constitutional matters yesterday called for the IMMEDIATE RELEASE of detained President JOSEPH ESTARDA, saying that the opposition leader has “suffered too long in detention already.”” JARAULLA also said that Gloria ““…should also release Ka Bel, number one because he is still a colleague. Number two, he would not dare to go underground considering also his age and health. He no longer wants to go undergound, and he deserves to be released…””

I just happen to have inside sources and some connection; hence, I’m often way ahead of the others. Sometimes, I receive news much ahead of those being published the following day. For instance, I just received news that some GMA allies would be holding her hostage inside the Palace to demand her immediate resignation. It’s kind of inside coup in Malacanang. I won’t mention the names of these allies some of whom are even her closest and trusted cabinet members. Then, the big Fat Guy Mike would suffer a serious stroke resulting in his being disabled for life.

CBCP even has no moral authority to question Cha-Cha and Gloria because CBCP itself lacks credibility. Where was CBCP at the height of movement to oust GMA? Where was CBCP during those impeachment hearings against GMA? Where was CBCP when attempts by JDV’s House were obviously to railroad Con-Ass? Why only now? Asking for Christmas envelopes?

The softening in fact is all publicity. True there are priests who are getting more from the Switik and would not like to change positions, but majority of the priests and nuns I know are up to their neck against this Switik. Malacanang is deliberately passing on tsismis, threats, etc. kabulastugan in an attempt to frighten wannabe protesters to attend the rally.
I cannot even understand why they have to keep on saying that te United Opposition is not united even when we know that they are united in goal and spirit, and that the Switik, is indispensible even when all that she does is brag about her success in pimping Filipinos overseas even when they get raped, maltreated, battered, etc. Just who are these crooks kidding?
