To all our Volunteers, Supporters, and all Filipinos who believed there is hope for our Motherland,
The past 90 days had truly been an astonishing experience. At first, I had fears that my candidacy, platform and message would be unacceptable to the Filipino people. But as the campaign period went by it was apparent that such was not the case. In fact, by the first week of March, when our resources were about to be depleted, our campaign had been practically sustained and carried forth by an intense spirit of volunteerism all over the country and from all walks of life. This, plus the outpouring of goodwill and support from the different sectors of society, made our moral victory complete. Yes, there is hope for our country. YOU ARE THAT HOPE.
I admit that we still have a long way to go before we can claim electoral victory and, as I have said before, I expect this administration to cheat. Hence, we should not put our guard down. We must continue to be vigilant in the coming days to ensure that your collective will is respected and upheld.
To all of you, who participated or supported in any way in this campaign, I give my whole-hearted thanks. You will forever be my inspiration, my motivation and my strength.

Beautiful words & so inspirational. It is worth supporting a person like Sonny Trillanes. He put his life on the line, & most importantly, he gave the people HOPE in these dark days under this horrible regime of Gloria ! For that, words are not enough to say THANK YOU for igniting that spark..

I have not lost hope in this young man. I am happy for him. He could have higher votes in Japan had the voters here been assured from the beginning that he would not be disqualified. Those who voted early did not know that he would be allowed an interview that would be indication enough that Trillanes was going to be recognized as a legitimate candidate for Senator. Still he did not placed last in the race over here but somewhere in the middle.
The vote for Honasan could have been given to him as a matter of fact. Still the result of the canvassing of votes in Japan did not prove disappointing with 8 GO winning, 1 independent (Kiko because of Sharon Cuneta, his wife) and 3 stooges from the TU.
This election turned out indeed a national referendum on Mrs. Pidal. Now, the next step is to impeach her.

MANILA, Philippines — Seeing her son in and out of the Magic 12 as the canvassing of votes for senatorial candidates continues, the 68-year-old mother of detained mutiny leader Antonio Trillanes IV is not at all nervous.
“From the beginning, I have offered everything to God. That is why I don’t feel stressed,” Estelita Trillanes told the Philippine Daily Inquirer in a phone interview on Thursday.
Not even the threat of cheating worries her: “You know, when you pray, no evil can overtake you. Dagdag-bawas (vote padding and shaving) is considered evil. How can evil overtake goodness?”
The voices of her grandchildren playing could be heard as she spoke on the phone. She said she was in the house of one of her daughters.
Trillanes’ mother was instrumental in ending the Oakwood mutiny on July 27, 2003 when she personally met with President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo in an attempt to save her son as the ultimatum for the mutineers’ surrender neared.
On Thursday, she was monitoring the canvassing of votes through news reports. She said her family did not have enough money to pay for poll watchers. http://www.inquirer.net

Win or lost, ex-Navy Lt. Antonio Trillanes is the new rising star or hero in Philippine politics. The May 2007 midterm election is the defining moment of Trillianes’ advocacy. The ‘Oakwood incident’ had manifested specific action not empty words to fight against corruption in the bureaucracy. He deserves a seat in the Senate.

I am taking Trillanes’ statements as they are- I won’t even read between the lines because there is still no reason to. He has, so far, been consistent in his pronouncements leaving me no reason to doubt his convictions.
Trillanes never said he won’t run so even after he did, I won’t call him a liar. Trillanes doesn’t even have the means to call a COMELEC commissioner so even while he had consistently place within the Magic 12, I won’t say he cheated. In fact, his showing at the polls gives an entirely different meaning to the phrase “against all odds”… quite inspiring, don’t you think?
Somebody else said, right before Rizal’s grave on a most solemn day of remembering Rizal’s martyrdom, that, being the cause of the nation’s deep division, she won’t run. Wouldn’t you call her a liar, if she did run barely months after that particularly solemn day? Somebody else called a COMELEC commissioner about three years ago, asking that the commissioner ensure at least a million winning margin for her. Wouldn’t it be an honor for her to be called merely a cheater? In fact, her eventual “victory” at the polls gave an entirely new meaning to the salutation “Her Excellency”… quite depressing, don’t you think?

Susunod ay lilipulin na ang mga salbaheng ito sa pamamagitan ng mga tamang adhikain na ipapairal sa pamamagitan ng mga bagong magpapalakad na Senado sa Pilipinas tulad nina Trillanes, Escudero, Cayetano at ng anak ng aking kaibigang si Senator Pimentel na inaasahan ko rin na makakapasok sa Magic 12. Sila ay magiging magaling na tagapagtaguyod ng katinuan sa pamamagitan na rin ng ating tulong at halimbawa ng katinuan.
Nananalig akong di magbabago si Sonny Trillanes. Tutulong ako sa pagiging isa niyang ulirang lider ng ating sinilangang Pilipinas kahit na hindi na ako pilipino o kahit isa man sa aking mga magulang at kapatid ay di na magiginabang ng gagawin niya para sa inang bayan.

It is the people like Trillanes who give us the hope to turn the nation around. He inspired and continue to inspire a lot of young people to get involved in this election. Look at the active poll clerks, they are young and hopeful. Look at the people outside the canvassing headquarters, they are the young people who have so much passion for change!
Yes, we have to be ever vigilant to continue to fight the cheat who will do everything in her power(including selling her soul to the devil, if she even has a soul). Trillanes will win because it is God willing. A new hero of “TrillanesMania” Filipinos are not that dumb, they voted for him even he is such a blatantly inexperienced, but, simply he is the one of the few candidates who has a testicle fortitude who openly opposed the corrupt regime of the present administration. Sure the Pro-Gloria demagogues don’t like him, you don’t like him, your brother and your kumpare don’t like him and the “Macho Dancers” hates him. But, one thing for sure your wife or girlfriend are craving and fantasizing to date him.
Jonphil, look around you! If you are in the Philippines, look at your neighbor, look at the scavengers who live in squalor, do they have hope to escape the abject poverty? Look around Universities and College belts, most of the students are wearing white uniforms, Why? They want to become a nurse, a physical therapist because that is their passport to leave our country. Our country is suffering from a backlash of talented and gifted professionals because no job for them, only the son and daughters of the rich clan stays and get the nice job, padrino system, mostly are engaged in a political dynasties. The son of Pedro want to become a congressman and he is striving hard to get a good education but, because his father is only a fisherman and no money to buy votes his ambition is impotence. Trillanes win, open the door my friend. Not only the rich and famous will always win. Trillanes is an inspiration as well.

The best antidote to the balimbings is to not accept them into the fold. They should retire! Kailangang mag-stick ang mga pilipino sa mga bagong sibol. Got a note from my friend in Hong Kong. Nakapasok daw si Trillanes because of the votes of El Shaddai members. The trend is the same in Japan and else, 8-1-3 in favor of GO. Kaya bistadong-bistado na iyong mga ballot riggers na binayaran ng mga Pidal sa Mindanao na pati iyong mga patay nakaboto na ipinalabas pang No. 1 si Singson na taga-Ilocos Sur. I bet you, the actual trend there is also 8-1-3 kundi mang 8-2-2. Hindi na nila malulutong makaw ang mga boto kaya concede na sila dapat!

LATE BREAKING NEWS — DZMM is reporting that in Zambales, almost 100,000 votes were shaved off from Alan Cayetano and Chiz Escudero. Had it not been for the people’s heightened vigilance, this scheme would have gone undetected.

You bet! There was actually an attempt to condition the minds of the Philippine public that the partylists of the Pidals won in Japan with the AHO! being advertised to have gotten 537 votes and the rest getting 100 votes each from the Filipinos in Japan. It was of course BS because there were only 1139 votes received and the number of votes given to the partylists cannot be more than the ballots received with 104 deducted and a lot many people abstaining because they were not familiar with the partylist.
So, the first thing we did was notify the GMATV of the mistake and told them that the topnotcher among the partylists was GABRIELA with 127 votes followed by APO! with 86 votes and then Bayan with 75 votes, etc. The rest of the Pidal partylists did not even get any vote.
Fortunately, the Philippine Embassy also posted the tabulated results of the election in Japan to prove that the Malacanang robbers and thieves intended to pad the votes in Japan in their favor. But nice try! What they probably did not expect is that Filipinos in Japan, especially those with permanent residency, are untouchable and are ready to stop them if they try to mess up the results of the votes in Japan.
Now, we know why the idiots would not want to revise the OAV law and scrape that clause detrimental to the welfare and interests of permanent residents about going home to the Philippines after 3 years and residing there permenently or they get imprisoned for failure to do so. It is more to force them to be submissive and under the dictate of an idiot and a criminal who wants to be queen.
