Who’s the NBN mystery man?

Joey de Venecia’s affidavit, click here.

Joey de Venecia, son and namesake of Speaker Jose de Venecia Jr. vowed to identify in a proper forum the “mystery man” who was with Commission on Elections (Comelec) Chairman Benjamin Abalos when the latter allegedly tried to bribe him with $10 million.

He said Abalos brought the “influential person” with him apparently to make him accept the $10 million bribe offer.

The quessing game now is: Is it Mike Arroyo, husband of Gloria Arroyo? Or is it Buboy Macapagal, brother of Gloria Arroyo?

Joey de Venecia will appear at the Blue Ribbon committee hearing on Tuesday at 9:30 a.m.

Let’s watch this close together with the “Hello Garci” hearings which will be on Monday at 10 a.m.

They are connected.

n the TV interview, De Venecia described the alleged bribes as “a highway robbery and that is something I cannot stomach.”

Hindi lang highway robbery, air or sea robbery iyan. Space robbery puwede din. That’s more and worse than highway roberry. De Venecia is schedule to appear at the Senate hearing on Tuesday and is expected to tell all and who. But between today and Tuesday, anything could happen. Then, he would explain he has decided to back off due to family reasons. Gaya ni Imee Marcos noong impeachment, di daw nag-appear to keep her relationship with her mother Imelda. Let’s see…

Most likely it’s Diosdado “Buboy” Macapagal Jr. and with active participation of ‘Wack Wack Mafia’. By coincidence elections Chief Benjamin Abalos Sr. is member of board directors and past president of Wack Wack Golf and Country Club. The alleged ZTE payoff puzzle is getting interesting.

Buboy is my bet. Itinatago nila ngayon si Baboy!

    Maarte,

My guess is the husband..nag gu gulp na ngayon. Ang lakas din mag-higop at maglaklak. I was of the impression na hindi na iinvolve ang anak sa unang asawa.

Who is this NBN mystery man?

    happy thoughts:

during a ZTE all-expense-paid leisure trip to afghanistan, GMA & her entire cabinet, including FG mike arroyo, Comelec chairman benjamin abalos & spokesperson sergio apostol were seized and taken hostages by terrorists and, in a televised message, threatened to burn all of the hostages alive if their demands are not met.

as of the latest update, 500 liters of gasoline had been received as donations from anonymous donors, and counting.

NBN ‘mystery man’? i think there is no such thing as a ‘mystery man’. given the track record of GMA’s government, practically everybody & everyone are the usual suspects. no credibility.

Who knows the mystery man might turn out to be Gloria Arroyo.
It’s to hide her true identity.

Mr Misteryoso would be somebody from the family of the President. In a country that even the grandchildren of the President are vested with soo much power which the President will always back up, it could not be just anybody else. Not Mike Arroyo though, he was already in to many pickles that almost salted him healthwise, so it must be some healthier member. my bet is Junior Macapagal or is that Buboy? (what a nick)

Whoever this mystery man, He must be an important person. This political zarsuela is getting exciting. I remember watching “Smackdown” the mexican wrestler on the mask is Rey Mysterio, no wonder he was out for a long time.

Apostol idolized him, after his wrestling match with Eddie, Apostol asked him!—–Srenior luchador, como esta el coste de vida en Mexico?

Can you please speak english mister”

Okey, mestiri man,my quistion to yu is” How is the cost of libing in mehico?Me and master want to live in Tijuan,Mehico is like Manila,we can hire a lot of bodyguards and maids”

Mysterio told him–“Senior bulol,Mexico is better than your country,You buy the police, you buy the judge, you buy the warden in dollares,Better for you and your master to buy chiwawa”

Apostol told him “We have in comon, the same parehong peso”

“Ms. Ellen, you told Vic that “..the meeting happened before Mike Arroyo got ill.Remember, the signing (which Gloria Arroyo had to witness) happened with Mike Arroyo was in the hospital.”

    Dead on!

  22. Here’s the comment I posted in Schumey’s blog some 2 days ago:

“Trust me a deal this size cannot be signed without the blessing of Malacanang.

“Abalos who’s not even in the chain of command responsibility in the govt when it comes to DOTC loop so to say that he was the only man in charge cannot be believed? No way… no way, absolutely no way. If that’s how this goverment is trying to plot it, i.e., that it’s Abalos and Abalos only thing, people must be wary!

“Gloria, Mendoza, Formoso, Teves, Neri, Ermita through whose office whom all paperwork had to pass to get on Gloria’s desk including the legal adviser of Gloria (Apostol or Gungong Gonzales, don’t know who else) – they were all involved big time. Abalos may be or was THE ULTIMATE fixer but Gloria was the handler, officially represented by DoTC chief Mendoza. This former cop holds ALL the keys – his chief of staff knows EVERYTHING!

“Break the chief of staff of Mendoza or Mendoza himsel, you break the whole gang or break even Formoso, the Usec and you break the whole organized crime syndicate!

ZTE ain’t a lil entity – they won’t put upfront money which I reckon should be in the vicinity of 10% to 20% (I can only cite the going rate of many years ago for big projects) unless they had some assurance and evidence -FRONTAL, PHYSICAL, SOLID evidence – that the deal would push through – because the proof came from the highest echelons of power, i.e., Malacanang.

“ZTE went through Abalos, am sure not directly though but through someone else – I don’t know, perhaps through some big time Chinese bank CEO, Chairman of the Board, etc. who has a good link to Malacanang and who knew how to tactically get or FORCE Malacanang on side: Abalos! The guys around ZTE knew that Abalos was about to be THE MOST powerful persona during the election period; he would rig the elections for Gloria on the condition that Gloria OKd the deal with ZTE by turning her back on JdV3’s proposed contract of which I’m pretty sure, she knew the existence even before Abalos came to her directly or indirectly for the ZTE deal.

“(You know, with regard to big, major, govt projects with sovereign guarantee, kanya kanya sila diyan, eg., project X will be for Mr A, project Y will be for Mr B, project Z will be for Mr C particularly at DoTC – if you happen to know that there is say, a radar project, and your company is interested in making an offer, DoTC Usec will be very frank with you, example: “Di puwede, kasi iyang radar deal which is DoTC project Y ay na-promise na kay Mr B.” I’m pretty sure that the broadband deal had been promised to Joey in 2004 so ZTE had to go through another channel, bigger, more evil, etc. etc. to break Joey’s stronghold.)

“Believe me – Joey de Venecia is being wise, foxy in the extreme when he’s sweety sweety calling Gloria “my president, etc.” but he’s got a bomb in his hand – don’t know but he’s talking of a mysterious personality who was with Abalos at the time of their meeting, could be either Fatso or Ed Ermita in person. (If it’s Edong, Joey has got to be careful – Ed Ermita is no saint and perfectly capable of having him go pffft.)

“Abalos had to get someone BIG to convince Joey to back off and to show him that Malacanang WAS ALREADY IN ON the ZTE because Joey’s dad ain’t a small timer either – this points us all to the direction of Malacanang again!”

  23. I should have been more specific:

““Trust me, a PROJECT (even before it becomes a deal) this size cannot even begin to see the light of day without the blessing of Malacanang from day 1 it was put on the table.”

  24. Ellen,

The right person to ask on how a ‘project’ becomes AN OFFICIAL DoTC project is through Josie Lichauco…

  25. I understand she is your friend, a good one, she can tell you off the record the modus operandi of brokers, proponents, big time fixers, the works.

  26. Anna, Josie Lichauco said the NBN contact is illegal and unnecessary.

  27. Ellen,

Btw, a project similar to this has been in the pipeling since 1998 – Erap wanted it because he was lazy and didn’t want to hold cabinet meetings and thought a broadband network would also suit his purpose – armchair precidency.

  28. Ellen,

Josie knew about this “proposal” in 1998 and if she doesn’t remember, ask Jun Rivera.

  29. Kintanar was fired by Erap because he wanted to corner the deal even then.

  30. When the broadband hogged the headlines, I told myself, “Aha – so someone had picked up the broadband thinggy(t’was Joey).)

At the time of Erap it was still the very basic thing. Of course, ZTE corporation made it really sophisticated.

  31. Kintanar was the NTC chief I believe at the time – boy, that guy was corrupt through and through!

  32. I understand, when the broadband project was first proposed, it made sense because there was no Globe and Smart then. But with the extensive facilities of the two telephone companies all over the country, the broadband project has become obsolete. That’s the unnecessary part.

The illegal part was the lack of bidding.

The anomalous part is the price of P16 BILLION which is three times more than the original price.

  33. I don’t know if what you meant was the “telepono sa barangay”. It’s different from this NBN project. Ah yes, you said ZTE made it more sophisticated.

Josie opposed that telepono sa barangay project. I know that members of the Presidential Management Staff like (now Congressman) Crispin Remulla and Rizza Oreta (lawyer daughter of Tessie Oreta) also opposed it.

  34. Ellen,

All the flagship projects that were being initiated by Erap prior to his political demise were already allocated to many of the country’s biggest fixers. Dichaves who was a kingpin at DoTC was the lead fixer there.

The list contains fabulous projects with foreign proponents listing that I’m sure are being implemented today by Gloria’s govt. All they have to do is to pick out from the listing – Mendoza has a gold mine there.

DoTC is the biggest revenue generating (GENERATING not collecting only) agency of the govt (and not the BIR which is a TAX collecting agency), hence it is THE RICHEST agency, liquidity wise.

  35. Defence contracts are but a fraction of sources of bribes… A FRACTION.

All defence companies in the world have civilian component arms that can readily deal with any transport and communications department of ANY country… (after all, the technology used by these civilian arms of the government were defence derivations.)

  36. Ellen,

I proposed these telepono sa barangay project to Erap too…

  37. Someone close to Mendoza once told me that he has become tired of raising funds for Gloria and Mike.

I can imagine that if Mendoza is to raise funds for GMA and Mike, he would have to have his ample share.

  38. But on a BOO scheme, build operate own under a grant (no money from govt, grace period of 10 years and 3% thereafter… – at the time, we proposed a pilot project for some 100 baranggays only. But some folks wanted money upfront and we said no, to hell with you guys, it was taxpayers’ money and t’was govt to govt thing so we dumped it.)

  39. Ellen, the Erap broadband specs was different from the telepono sa baranggay.

  40. One of the fellows who couldn’t be bullied was the NAIA officer (Col Yap who was gunned down by Gloria’s troops)… that fellow knew what he was talking about technology wise…

  41. Re: “I can imagine that if Mendoza is to raise funds for GMA and Mike, he would have to have his ample share.”

Of course, of course – if he says he doesn’t, pigs might fly!

Perhaps, he’s tired of raising funds for them, not so much the funds per se but the modus operandi. For every DoTC contract he signs, it’s his neck that’s on the chopping board!

  42. During the time of FVR, one of the lead fixers roaming around Metro Manila was Peter Rodriguez.

  43. Joey Stevens, the husband of Amalia Fuentes was during the time of Cory Aquino.

  44. Btw, Ellen, did you know that Abalos and Butch Tuason (first degree and favourite cousin of the Fatso) are really, close friends, Abalos is closer to Butch than to Fatso.

  45. or at least WAS CLOSER to abalos than Fatso was… of course, times have changed.

  46. Ellen, Jaime Dichaves is a pseudonym – his real name is Chinese.

The “mystery man” or ang sugo ni Tiyanak ay si Ermita-nyo. Iyan ang lumapit kay JR. Tenga.

So if the meeting happened before Mike Arroyo got ill, then that mystery man could be him. When it was signed by Gloria, he was already in the hospital but he was not needed during the signing. I think Ellen agreed with me that it was Mike. The clues were very “powerful”; someone very close to Malacanang, someobe BIG, not a public official. Based on the past incidents even when Mike attended hearings called by Senate (remember the Pidal hearing?), his behavior was that of a very arrogant and provocative person. Nagmumura pa iyan di ba? I still think it’s him.

Ermita or matandang Ermitanyo? Puwede din. Naisip ko din iyan. But he’s a public official. If he’s the one, FVR certainly has a role kaya tahimik si Ramos. Usually nakikialam iyan si Ramos at nakikihalo sa media with that huge scandal. If Mike Defensor is a changed man now (medyo lumalayo na ng kaunti sa Malacanang), maybe he could tell us something about the anomalous deal. That would be his passport to the 2010 Senate election. Balita ko inalok siya ng isang position ni Gloria after his defeat but he declined it. And among the cabinet members, etong si Defensor ang medyo malapit kay Erap. Yes, he could say something about it if he wants. This is now the chance to redeem himself. If he does it and back up young JDV, he might win in 2010.

This is another interesting article from The Daily Tribune (09/17/2007):

Broadband builder ZTE Corp. a ‘hacker’
    By Angie M. Rosales

ZTE Corp., the controversial Chinese firm that bagged the Philippine government’s broadband project, is allegedly involved in “hacking” operations on German government computers and is supposedly now subject of an investigation.

Speculations are rife, based on reports that have been coming out in Germany since last week, that ZTE allegedly had a hand in hacking into the German government’s database, Sen. Manuel “Mar” Roxas II revealed yesterday.

This allegation against ZTE Corp. is another argument in favor of just leaving the Philippine government’s communications needs in Filipino hands, Roxas said.

What else is there to hack? Personal records of Esperon? There’s not much there.

ZTE would find more data in the cell phone of the fatso than anywhere – best thing to do for them is to steal it.

  64. Chabeli Chabeli

According to a report from ABS-CBN news (www.abs-cbnnews.com/topofthehour.aspx?StoryId=92709), “Roxas wants deeper ZTE probe amid spying claims”

Sen. Manuel Roxas II assured that the Philippine government’s $329-million national broadband network (NBN) contract with ZTE Corporation will not go untouched by investigators as he cited online reports alleging that the Chinese conglomerate and officials themselves are involved in the theft of state secrets in Germany and three other countries.

Roxas, chairman of the Senate trade and industry committee, quoted online reports as saying that ZTE and the Chinese government were implicated in the hacking of government files in Germany, France, Great Britain and the United States.

The reports are fully explained on the following links: http://www.lightreading.com/document.asp?doc_id=132902 http://www.taipeitimes.com/News/front/archives/2007/09/09/200337791www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/world/asia/article2393979.ece.

  65. pechanco pechanco

Speaking of Angara, he denied he’s blocking the ZTE investigation because ZTE has hired the service of the law firm where he belongs. Tell it to the Marines! Here’s a portion of that news item:

The Pidals are loyal to the Pidals only. They grab anything that they can grab including the moral fibers in eack of every decent law abiding Filipinos. Money and power is all about for them. Money makes them powerful. They can buy anything they want. Even people’s loyalty. As long as there are millions to give away to those people who are willing to sell their soul, they will be protected for now. At least for now…..but always bear in mind that power do not last forever.

  68. Chabeli Chabeli

Jadenlou, I agree with you. The loyal followers of the Pidals are only there for as long as they can be paid. When the money stops flowing, they will be in trouble. You’re right, to say that “power do not last forever”.

That is why the Pidals have to make sure they have tons & tons of money. The loyalty of their followers are all artificial. They are not like the followers of, say, Sen. Trillanes. That is why the Pidals fear the 11M+ followers of Sen. Trillanes. Sen. Trillanes had nothing compared to the Pidals in terms of money. The followers of Sen. Trillanes are solid. The followers of the Pidals are hollow. There lies the big difference.

  71. pechanco pechanco

I think Donald Dee is the brother of that Dewey Dee who escaped from the Philippines in the 70s for ripping off the bank industry. He’s reported to be in Canada and was very close to Enrile then.

  72. ocayvalle ocayvalle

what a shame this people are!! wasting the peoples money for a good time on their own!!this people FG and his group are known high rollers here!! as if they own fort knox.. when will their madness ends!! so greedy.. no shame at all!! what a hell this people are!!

  73. Chabeli Chabeli

Ocayville, what Pechanco is saying is what I also know. Donald Dee is also the head of some Chamber of Commerce here in the Philippines. The way also he defends Gloria is something else – he was also very vocal in the ouster of Erap then.

You said, “what a hell this people are!!” Hell is an understatement with these people.

    Appreciate your reply, Ocayville.

  74. pechanco pechanco

Thanks Chabeli. I’m not 100% sure if it’s this Donald or another guy named Howard Dee who’s the brother of long time fugitive Donald Dee. At that time, Enrile was the go-between of the bad guys and Marcos. Enrile was also connected to that Chinese drug lord Lim Seng who was executed during Martial Law.

  75. pechanco pechanco

Sorry, I should have written: Dewey Dee not Donald Dee who’s the fugitive brother. Compare those bad guys during the time of Marcos with the bad guys under this GMA administration, mga amateur lang ang mga iyon noon panahon ni Marcos.

  76. Chabeli Chabeli

Pechanco, Dewey Dee (I think) is the one who fled the country. His brother is this Donald Dee nga – President of the Philippine Chamber of Commerce (surfed the internet for that info). If I’m not mistaken, tawag pa yata dito sa tuta na ito ay Ambassador Donald Dee. He recently was in the Senate defending the JPEPA that pissed off Enrile – Donald Dee kasi was bastos when he was trying to ram the JPEPA down the throats of the Senators – napikon tuloy si Enrile.

  77. pechanco pechanco

Hindi napikon si Enrile. Arte at drama lang iyon. Enrile was very close to Donald’s fugitive brother Dewey. Whenever there’s an investigation like in the Senate, there’s the good and bad guy. These bad guys won’t act too obvious, will they?

Re: ZTE Corp. hacked German government computers

Gloria Arroyo and her cohorts are not interested in national security. First and foremost greed, they are concerned on personal gain or interest. They have gluttonous appetite for power and money. The China Eximbank, a government-owned bank is financing the ZTE-NBN and Cyber-education projects. There’s something wrong here. It appears that China Eximbank will pay directly to China’s ZTE Corp. including the additional $200 M Gloria-Abalos’ anomaly without public scrutiny and let the next generations to pay the bills. Hell, its Lutong Makaw, pancit Canton plus roasted Peking duck in a row.

  79. Yummmm… love peking duck but with me mamak (Malaysian pancit canton).

  80. mee (not me) mamak

  81. Valdemar Valdemar

There is no NBN mystery man.
There will be no impeachment of Abalos.
    Kiss and make up na.

  82. maarte maarte

Like the Teves scandal, mawawala din iyan ZTE na iyan. Pustahan tayo. Remember how hot the Committee on Appointment case was? May balita ba uli tayo? Wala.

  83. Valdemar, maarte – yup! It looks like Gloria will put one over Filipinos again, one more pile of shit, flushed and forgetten. Difficult to knock down an organized crime syndicate at that level.

  84. Not impossible but difficult.

  85. Who’s the NBN mystery man?

My first guess was that he’s the one who is as fat as a house.

  86. TonGuE-tWisTeD TonGuE-tWisTeD

Donald Dee is an ass-licker nonpareil. He was supersipsip to Erap then, he is supersipsip to Gloria now. He was appointed to the Board of SSS 2 or 3 years ago. Silang dalawa ni Miguel Varela, at the time of Erap’s impeachment was calling for a status quo in the country’s leadership because stories abound that time that Erap was to be ousted by a coup. Like the Pig, Varela is also from Ateneo’s Law School and a member of the Makati Rotary Club.

Dee is a tough defender of Gloria’s ecopolicies. He lists EVAT/RVAT, EPIRA, JPEPA, NPC privatization, even Con-Ass among the many heavier burdens to the poor, that his group has “championed” for the country. Look at the list again. Together with Miguel Varela of ECOP and Philexport’s Sergio Ortiz-Luis, this elite triumvirate form one facet of influential business sector. Other groups are the Makati Business Club, the Binondo Connection, the Coño group, Bankers Club and the ex-pats group among others.

Dee is an Special Ambassador for Int’l Trade Negotiations and the stench from his hand in JPEPA was as foul as the odor of garbage that Japan seeks to dump in our dear Philippines.

This crook is also lobbying for a monopoly, a single operator of all ports in the Philippines, a move seen by many in Makati as a means to create an all-crony consortium to prevent entry of foreign port operators to the country. Ricky Razon’s ICTSI and Asian Terminals, together with new smaller operators that include Chavit Singson (Poro Point), will virtually close the business from competition.

  87. maarte maarte

Thanks for those info, Tongue. Atenista din pala si Varela. It seems many of the kurakot are from that school, Ateneo.

  88. TonGuE-tWisTeD TonGuE-tWisTeD

From Ocayvalle’s list, I can recognize some of the lesser-known facilitators of the NBN deal.

Formoso is also the responsible for the Auto-Counting Machines that are rusting away in Comelec Warehouses. His brainchild seemed like a perfect crime, doesn’t it? That explains why Abalos is sticking to him.

Ruben Reyea, from Hello Garci, was at the top of the cheating operations in 2004. He also called Garci regarding the election supervisor from Tipo-tipo at which point Garci first mentioned his intention to kidnap the witness. He also foolowed up on Garci for party-list groups TUCP and ANAD. Garci later apparently called Ruben Reyes to ask him to remove Gen. Gudani from ARMM. And he did. Powerful connections, eh.

Edgar Dula Torre was Police Chief of QC when I saw the guy in the inauguration of ex-PCCI president Jimmy Tang’s new Building/Store in Cubao. He was wearing barong tagalog sheer enough to see the cal. 45 pistol tucked in his waist. Since he is now part of Abalos’ core group, I presume te purpose his intimidating presence was simply that: to intimidate.

Tangna itong Manila Standard. It calls Erap as convicted felon:

    Quezon City claims ‘Boracay Mansion’

A PRIME piece of property owned by convicted felon former President Joseph Estrada may not be claimed by the national government because Quezon City now owns it, an official said yesterday.

“Mike Arroyo slips out on eve of Senate ZTE probe

    By Tarra Quismundo
    Inquirer
Last updated 06:44pm (Mla time) 09/17/2007

MANILA, Philippines–First Gentleman Jose Miguel Arroyo slipped out of the country at sunset Monday, the eve of the Senate investigation into the controversial National Broadband Network (NBN) deal with China’s ZTE Corp.

Arroyo was last to board Cathay Pacific flight CX-918 some 10 minutes before the plane took off for Hong Kong at 5:55 p.m. It was not clear whether he was to take a connecting flight to another destination…”

Joey DV already denied speculations that the Mystery Man was Buboy Macapagal. Mike Arroyo leaving the Philippines on the eve of the Senate probe on ZTE-NBN, and in a very discreet manner at that?

    HHHMMMMMMMMMMMM……….

  92. The Wicked flee when no one pursuits… [but the Senate].

  93. pechanco pechanco

Will JDV III tell the truth? Will his father back him up? Please read:

De Venecia III revealed his anguish over the toll that his crusade against the ZTE deal took on his relationship with his father. The younger De Venecia is the son of the Speaker from his first wife, Victoria Perez.

“My father is allied with the administration. He is president of the party [Lakas-CMD] which has the President as the chairman. He asked me to say the truth but to also bear in mind that there are a lot of political issues involved here and we don’t know where the media will take the issue,” De Venecia III said.

He said his father told him he was waging a losing battle.

“You’re not gonna win this. You’re going against the DoTC which is a very powerful agency, and Abalos who is head of a very powerful commission. And who are you? Even if you are my son…,” he quoted the Speaker as telling him.

  94. Ka Enchong:

Am dead certain, the Fat Goon (FG) flew to HK to escape from Manila’s growing controversy heat and the imminent clash of the Titans as Schumey calls the current corruption controversy. While FG is on the run, who knows, there might be a meeting between him and some ZTE corporate guys or their rep on how he could escape the heat totally.

If that isn’t on the agenda of the FG (Fat Goon), there could very well be “un mouvement des fonds” (liberally translated, “movement of funds.”) The man, after all is a lawyer and knows how he can break the law without being caught red-handed.

Am I speculating again? Maybe… maybe not. But it’s all gobsmackingly realistic, ain’t it!

My question is, what is going on in this country that men in position, in the highest echelons of power refuse to abide by the Rule of Law? Will somebody please ask the National Bureau of Investigation to investigate into the alleged ZTE-Abalos-Mendoza, et al, corruption no matter who gets hurt and alert Sandiganbayan promptly? Sanamagan, it’s really as simple as that!

(Yeah, I know, pigs might fly… No, I didn’t see Laurence of Arabia passing, flying on his camel…)

  95. pechanco pechanco

Are we being hacked again? Nahirapan akong mag-log in at mag-send ng post.

Anyway didn’t I earlier say it was Mike Arroyo? No one thought of him. Why did this “Someone Big” leave the country a day before the Senate hearing when JDV III would reveal who the Mystery Man is?

  96. (Ellen took me hours to access this blog today…!)

  97. Pechanco,

We had the same experience – we posted comments (above) at the same time.

    Quezon’s blog is also incommunicado.

  98. Chabeli Chabeli

How strange that Mike Arroyo left for Hong Kong today aboard a CX flight..at the eve of the ZTE Senate investigation. And we were supposed to believe that he was taking it easy because of his health. BS pala !

Mike Arroyo left with some of the Pidal cronies.

  99. Hi Chabs,

Do you have the names of the Pidal cronies perchance?

  100. Chabeli Chabeli

Ans, What I gathered (I can’t verify though) was Ricky Razon & Rey David.

  101. Thanks, Chabs.

  102. Chabeli Chabeli

Ans, what I read naman from abs-cbn news, is that Mike Arroyo left daw with his cousin, Benito Araneta. Here’s a link to that story:

    http://www.abs-cbnnews.com/storypage.aspx?StoryId=92835

Also, I read an article on the web of Malaya, “Mike take a long trip”. Here’s the link to the story:

    http://www.malaya.com.ph/sept18/news5.htm

Here’s some excerpts of the story:

JOSE Miguel Arroyo quietly left late yesterday afternoon on a Cathay Pacific flight for Spain via Hong Kong.

He was accompanied by Rey David, president of the Development Bank of the Philippines.

A source in Malacanang said Endika Aboitiz, whose family dominates the power generation business in Visayas and Mindanao, is expected to follow.

The source declined to explain the purpose of the trip.

  103. Yes, this blog was inaccessible for several hours today.

    Nakakainis talaga.

  104. Wow! Big time talaga hah! “He was accompanied by Rey David, president of the Development Bank of the Philippines.”

Movement of funds in the offing from one offshore bank to the other perhaps via DBP? Hmmmmmm… suspicious.

  105. Chabeli Chabeli

    Ans, maybe Hypovereins Bank………..

  106. Chabs,

I can see David’s importance here. For any offshore anking transaction of large, enormous sums not to be suspicious, the transaction has got to contain the imprimatur of a govt bank certification. No one will be the wiser.

  107. David?

Trying hard talaga ang mga Pidal to get you out of the cyberspace!!! 😛

  108. chi chi

So, Gloria witnessed the signing of the ZTE contract to protect hers and the Big One’s interests!

A very important project indeed, witnessed by no less than the fake head of Pinas government herself without any Chinese counterpart!

  109. Diego K. Guerrero Diego K. Guerrero

Si FG Miguel Arroyo ang mystery man. Kasangot siguro sa ZTE payoff.

  110. kiko kiko

well the word is out now, si FG sangkot nanaman, akala ko ba papakatino na yan after his operation?

Pwe!

  112. maarte maarte

After his surgery, Mike Arroyo claimed he had become religious and learned to read the bible.

  113. Diego K. Guerrero Diego K. Guerrero

Hell! Pig is always a pig.

  114. Mrivera Mrivera

    dkg,
