Tension in Tanay

Situation in the detention center of in Camp Capinpin of officers facing mutiny charges for allegedly withdrawing support from Gloria Arroyo is tense. AFP Chief of Staff Hermogenes Esperon has ordered them transferred to Camp Aguinaldo today, the day before their scheduled hearing tomorrow. They are resisting because they have learned of a sinister plot to link them to a fake destabilization plot and they will be incarcerated in the dreaded ISAFP compound.

(See earlier statement: Concerned voices from Tanay).

They sent the following message through their lawyers:

Basta ang stand namin dito:

1) Ayusin and trial procedures. Adhere to due process.

2) Dito ang hearing sa Tanay without handcuffs. All will attend hearings;not in batches.

3) No denial of right to peremptory challenge to officeers who have not yet exercised that right.

Jogy Fojas, president of the panel of the special general court martial trying the case of the 28 officers.

  1. Update:

No visitors are allowed in the detention center. The wives who are there are being asked to leave.

“Organic” personnel are on standby with their uniforms on.

BB, I second the motion! I feel so bad for these incarcerated officers who are being treated as “pawns” for power hungry politicos!
Why are the wives not allowed to visit their husbands? These are what the DOROBOS are soooo gooood at!
Let us all pray for our country. The DOROBOS are creating so much tension to effect a MARTIAL RULE para magawa nila lahat ng kabalbalan nila. Or worse!

As Ellen said: let us all be united and pray that evil plans will not triumph. I dread to think that something real evil will happen to them..and kung mangyari man that I think will be malaking gulo at maghahalo ang balat at ang tinalupan.

For the fence sitters, huwag na naman ninyong gagamitin ang mga nakakulong na mga opisyales na ito. They already paid their dues by incarceration for almost two years without clear violations. Gumawa naman kayo ng sarili ninyong gimmick! Do your own thing and suffer whatever consequences there will be. Kung lahat ng AFP ay makabayan katulad ng mga men of honor na ito, we would not be in a mess we are in now. Kaya yung mga nagtutulogtulugan dyan, GISING NA!

  7. Ellen: We pray that evil plans will not triumph.

    *****

Sinabi mo pa, Ellen. Let us not let them succeed. With God on our succeed, who can defeat us, and the truth and justice that we are fighting for?

Abangan…

  9. Mag-isnaban na sila kung gusto nila. Pareho lang iyan. Iyong isa purong panggalatok, iyong isa panggalataok na may lahing dugong aso! 😛

Point is why should Filipinos allow these two creeps to determined the destiny of their nation? Unbelievable! Kapaaaaal!

  11. If Romney makes it to be the Republican candidate for president, I will consider it a miracle. Hopefully, he will be inspired to fight it like what God must have wanted him to do as one ordained of God.

What many people do not know is that he is actually a priesthood holder who has led his life as morally upright and spiritually straight as he is capable of. I hope he will continue to live up to that, win or loose this election is going to be for him.

  12. If Romney wins in the Primary, I pray that it will be an inspiration to all as it is proof that God lives and answers prayers said from the heart still, and you bet, still does a lot of miracles that a lot many skeptics actually no longer believe in.

If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. (James 1:5-7)

Gee, asspweron says, one of the reasons of the transfer of these “plotters” (as he calls them) is medical. Some of the soldiers are sick. After two years it is only now that he realizes that? The families of these officers sacrificed for two years to visit their incarcerated spouses, a heavy drain to their finances and time. For those who did not have their own vehicles, they had to travel for about three or four hours one way to visit, transferring four or more times. The detention site is at the very end of the base in Tanay so these wives had to walk along with their children and baggages for their spouses’ pasalubong. Sometimes it even rained and some of their kids got sick. Maj Jason Aquino’s baby got sick because the wife and the child waited at the gate for a “GO” on their visit. Imagine that asspweron! Makakarma ka rin balang araw!

  14. PSB,

I believe in the Bible truth that one reaps what he sows. Esperon has no doubt sowed a lot of evil, making a lot of enemies on the way, and no doubt, he will suffer the consequences, etc. of his evil deeds.

Wala namang utang na di pinagbabayaran sabi nga. Kahit na mag-declare sila ng some moral bankruptcy, he papasa kasi alam naman nila ang batas ng Diyos at pati na ng tao na nilalabag nila. Everyone has to be accountable for his/her mistakes and sins, kundi man sa mundo sa last judgment.

Ito na lang ginagawa ni Gloria Dorobo na pagpapakulong sa mga ayaw sa kanya is very, very much against the order of heaven as a matter of fact as she prevents them from being progressive and useful citizens of the land just because she is afraid of getting removed from her stolen position. I doubt she confesses in the first place.

Baka matakot gumawa ng masama kapag nabasa ang librong iyon on what sins can do to men.

I’m told Republican candidate Romney belongs to Church of the Latter Day’s Saints. The fact that he got majority of the votes in Utah indicate that members of his church voted for him. This now brings us to the question of what if he’s elected President of America? Would he be torn between his duties as President and his obligations to his church? Needless to say, his decisions involving for or against church members or the church as a whole would be very difficult. Of course he like the others would say he would be very fair in his decision and judgment; but there’s no way ordinary Americans would be able to tell what’s in his hearts. Considering that faithful servants like Romney place God above everything, it would be easy to say that anything that benefits his church and the members even if these are unfavorable to the country would get his priority.
We could compare it to Bro. Mike Velarde who if he comes the President of the Philippines would of course take good care of his members at El Shaddai…more than the interest of the country.

    Brownberry;
I agree with you. When religious groups control or influence governments, the results are not good. That’s what I learned in my history, the examples of the Dark Ages in Europe, the Inquisition, the Salem witch trials, and by reading the Taliban in Afghanistan. If you really want to know about the dangers of an American theocracy, you need look no further than the state of Utah. The Mormon church, or church of Latter Day Saints (LDS), dominates public life in Salt Lake City. Ties between Utah public schools and the LDS church make life difficult for non-Mormon kids. Many of them convert just to escape the pressure. Parents who don’t like what goes on in the schools are free to file a suit, but chances are the case will be heard by a Mormon judge. The church attempts to silence ideas that it doesn’t agree with, and history is rewritten to cover the church’s mistakes. And this is life in Utah with some separation of church and state. If the laws were relaxed things would only get worse. As a government and a religious group become more entangled, the rights of the minority are undermined. If the US government became overtly Christian, unbelievers would become second-class citizens. Not only that, but a theocracy would, in a sense, weaken the church. People would choose Christianity for its social benefits rather than it’s truth. The choice that is so important to faith would give way to pressure, fear and coercion. Nominal Christianity would be even more prevalent than it is now.

Theocratic government would be dangerous:Kaya tama ka riyan why American voters are very seldom to vote for Romney.Never a minister become a president of America in a million years.

  20. Brownberry Brownberry

Cocoy, of course I take your comments about the Mormon Church as constructive one. I have an aunt who moved from California to Utah. Guess what? She and her American husband (non-Mormon) were converted. She said she had not too many choices if she wants to reside in Utah permanently. On the other hand, she’s now a changed person. From being an arrogant auntie, she is now very friendly. Her husband used to be a drunkard but now lives a clean life. Marami din Mormons ang mababait. Pero sang-ayon ako sa sinabi mo na whether we or they like it or not, the church and her members do influence the state affairs. Outcast ka kung hindi ka kasapi nila sa isang predominantly Mormon state and cities. May pros and cons naman. Romney if elected might have an independent mind. But if he’s a faithful member and holds a position in the church, he cannot avoid obeying and following the advice and wish of the elders. There lies the danger.

    My prayer at this hour:

“Lord, please save my beloved countrymen from the claws of EVILS! You’ve said to your beloved faithful, time and again, Ask and you shall receive! Please do it now Lord! Make haste for your people, we implore You!”

Sobra na ang ginagawa ng Pidal Mafia! Panahon na para magsigising ang buong Sambayanan!

  22. parasabayan parasabayan

Asspweron successfully brought down the Tanay boys. One wife witnessing the hancuffting of her husband passed out and had to brought to the hospital. Another officer was carried to the truck by eight soldiers like a pig ready to be butchered! Kids who were visiting their dad witnessed how their dad was treated!
When they reached Camp Aguinaldo, the officers were hungry. They did not have beddings and all. The wives who were to bring the food and beddings were not allowed to visit their husbands.
But like anything else, there is always an end to everything!

They will form the new faces of Magdalena punisher paratroopers, who leave no stone unturned in doling out retribution against military criminals, traitors to morality, or simply those stung lapdogs of Gloria and Esperon and they need a lot of volunteers at titignan natin kung hindi matatakot sina Gloria at Esperon.

We have read in many instances these lines in the Bible: He is a righteous man! He is a man of God! In choosing His leaders who would help Him, this usually what we read..Para sa akin..anyone who is a righteous man..will make a good leader…Wasn’t JFK doubted to bre president because he was catholic..religious affiliations I think not be a barrier..and if elected Romney will in most likelihood be a good president..

  26. rose rose

Catholico si GMA and most of her advisers are graduates of Ateneo., SBC, etc. bakit corrupt? Thomas More..has this to say to Cardinal Woolsley..”if a stateman removes his private conscience for the sake of his country, he leads his country into chaos”..isn’t this not what is happening now?

  28. Rose,

I can vouch for the personal honesty of Romney. Priesthood holder kasi iyan. I think he is also worried that his actions may be taken as something to get back on our church kaya iniingatan niyang magsalita ng tungkol sa religious beliefs niya.
redibility, and integrity. Pero mas gusto ko sanang ipakita ni Romney that he is what he is because of his faith in God.

I have not seen CNN and BBC today.

Walang pinag-iba kay Dubya as a matter of fact.

Sana inisip nila ito bago sila sumunod sa mga utos that will clearly break the chain of command.

also i do not get the issue with the handcuffs – kaya nga ng mga sundalong yan na makipagpatayan sa ngalan ng pulitika – konting posas lang e iiyak na.

  32. Rose,

Nag-quit na si Romney. Majority of our churchmembers must have told him to, and he must have been inspired by the Spirit of God that this is not the right time for one like him to be president. Pag naglaban si McCain at Clinton, I’ll take it more as a sign of the last days when the world will be saturated with evil leaders, and leave the devil to have his heydey with his minions.

    Heaven forbid!

  33. SULBATZ SULBATZ

    gilmore,
