Green Cross at Gold Cross

Gen. Renato Miranda at Brig. Gen.

Ano kayang taktika nila Major Gen.

  5. Statement of Lusterio’s lawyer:

Today, 20 February 2008, the undersigned received a Resolution dated 19 February 2008 of the Supreme Court En Banc, resolving to issue a Writ of Amparo in the petition filed by PO3 Emelyn P. Lusterio and Menchita O. Lusterio, wife and mother, respectively, of ex-soldier Monchito O. Lusterio. Petitioner Emelyn P. Lusterio is an enlisted personnel of the Philippine Navy with the rank of Petty Officer 3rd Class (equivalent to Sergeant).

The SC also ordered the respondents to make a verified return within five (5) working days and directed the Court of Appeals to hear the case on 26 February 2008 at 10:00 o’clock in the morning. The respondents are Executive Secretary Eduardo Ermita, PNP Chief Director Avelino Razon, Jr., DILG Secretary Ronaldo V. Puno, AFP Chief General Hermogenes C. Esperon, Jr. and Defense Secretary Gilberto C. Teodoro, Jr.

Before he was honorably discharged in 2005, Monchito had served the Philippine Marines for more than 7 years. He was a multi-awarded soldier with a Gold Cross Medal for gallantry in action. In 2003, Monchito was among those charged with the crime of coup d’ etat before the RTC-Makati City, in connection with the Oakwood incident. However, the DOJ, after conducting a preliminary investigation, dismissed the charge against him for lack of sufficient evidence. But the military charged him before a military court martial and he was detained for two (2) years at Fort Bonifacio. Upon his release in May 2005, he was demoted from Sergeant to Private. Demoralized and unable to support his family with his meager pay, he applied for discharge and was honorably discharged in 2005.

For the past 2 years, Monchito has been working as a security guard and personal bodyguard. On the side, to augment his meager income, he maintained a sideline making cribs (“duyan”), bags, belts and cellphone pouches at the backyard of his home in Laguna, which his mother, an ambulant vendor, would sell at the pier in their hometown.

After the Manila Peninsula Hotel incident on 29 November 2007, police and military claimed that Monchito was involved and they included him in their “wanted list,” together with 9 other military and former military men.

Thereafter, it was reported in various news programs on national television that the police and military are hunting down those in the “wanted list,” including Monchito, and their photographs were flashed on television screens. Their names and personal circumstances and the fact that they were being hunted down were also aired in news programs over the radio.

Worse, the photographs and personal circumstances of those in the “wanted list,” including that of Monchito, were placed in “Wanted Posters” that were distributed and are now posted and publicly displayed all over the country. At the top of the “Wanted Poster” is Capt. Nicanor Faeldon whom respondents had announced as having a P1,000,000.00 bounty on his head. Monchito himself has a P100,000.00 bounty on his head.

However, with the exception of Capt. Faeldon, all of those in the “wanted list” or the “Wanted Poster,” including Monchito, has not been charged with any offense either before the DOJ or any court. Yet, in the “Wanted Poster,” they were made to appear as fugitives and described as “AT-LARGE.” Moreover, while Monchito is a civilian, it was made to appear in the “Wanted Poster” that he is still in active military service with the rank of Private First Class or “PFC” and on absence without leave or “AWOL”.

Monchito’s being hunted down by the police and military, his having been included in the “wanted list” and “Wanted Poster” and having a bounty on his head, has forced Monchito to go into hiding and on the run.

The incarcerated officers have very brilliant lawyers! All we need to do is trust in them and PRAY hard that the HOLY SPIRIT will work on the panel, that they may discern the gravity of what they are being tasked to do- TO DESTROY THE LIVES AND CARREERS OF 28 HONORABLE MEN!

The panel should weigh if IT IS RIGHT TO ARRAIGN THESE MEN for withdrawing support from a BOGUS PRESIDENT(NOW THE WHOLE COUNTRY REALIZES HOW BOGUS SHE REALLY IS FROM DAY ONE!) and for not respecting the “cheat of staff” whom they perceived as one of the generals who helped her fraudulently win in the 2004 elections by using the AFP for the bogus victory.

LET US ALL PRAY FOR THE RELEASE OF THESE 28 men from asspweron’s prison! Let us also pray that justice will prevail in making sure that those who had put them in jail will likewise spend time in prison as well!

“PALPAK talaga ANG MGA TAUHAN NI GLORIA” – Pahiram Ellen

  13. Ellen,

Ang bobo naman. I really can’t help fuming mad at this kind of injustice, better still, stupidity of allowing a low class general to play god, defying all laws, even perhaps the law of God, just to show off. Point is why is this being allowed in the Philippines.

I wonder how this brave and gallant soldier feels for the ingrates who have made his life like hell. Masusumpa mo! It is no wonder that there are many ex-soldiers willing now to risk their lives in Iraq. At least, doon mamatay man sila, sulit ang pinagod nila—at least, by Philippine standard na mas mababa pa sa standard, I guess, ng Taliban and/or Al Qaeda.

Filipinos in fact should appreciate these bemedalled men now languishing in jail. Wow, for all that they have been made to go through, they still have that love of country, and are willing to stand by their oath to protect it and its people, even those who have caused them and their families these sufferings and humiliation that they don’t deserve.

Frankly, I don’t see any wrong in what the Magdalo, and these brave men. who had learned to stand on principle and refused to serve a criminal, did. Why should they pay obeisance to this criminal, who has trampled upon the Constitution and the laws of the land by which they have taken an oath to abide. It is just that they have literally seen the light before the others did. And look where the country is now!

Parang pinagtampuhan na ng tadhana—slipping slowly to oblivion, sabi nga!

  14. I’m no rebel, mind you, as I abide by the principle that my father had brought up my siblings and me with, that “one forfeits his rights and privileges under the law he breaks.” But as my father himself used to say, there are times when you have to make a choice between good and evil, right and wrong, virtue and vice, pleasure and pain. These brave soldiers choice what was and should be good, right, virtuous, and pleasure no doubt if they have not been subjected to this abominable pain by a criminal and her cohorts, who are implementing their own distorted rules and laws that are far from being inspired of God.

Ang bait mo naman. Gusto mo pang mabuhay si Mike Dorobo. Truth is if it is his time to go, he should go, and that for a lot many people is good riddance. God must have given him already enough time to reform his ways, and he apparently has taken that for granted. Kasalanan niya.

What a lot many people in fact do not realize is that God is a god of order, and He has set up rules that as the Bible says, “let not man put asunder.” (Matt. 19: 6; Mark 10: 9) or they incur the wrath of heaven!

Nakakatakot, di ba? If the Fatso dies now, sorry na lang sa kaniya. I just hope he has not done anything that God may not be able to forgive him, for there is what Christ has said about the “sin against the Holy Ghost” which is mainly the shedding of innocent blood, which IMHO is not only killing infants (as the child of the UP student who was kidnapped and now feared dead) but all those innocent people they have ordered kidnapped, murdered, tortured, deprived, etc.

I have a book that a prophet of our church wrote on the “Miracle of Forgiveness” with all the warnings, cautions, etc. about not incurring the wrath of God, and how really we can go to heaven. Maybe, if these crooks know that they are in fact losing rewards in heaven by getting them now while they are in this life.

May he rest in peace! 😛

This, my dear friend, is not life for reckoning as a matter of fact. It is a life to prepare to meet God, who actually does not want to lose any of His Spiritual children but He cannot force them to be with Him. God has given us set rules not to punish us in fact, but to help us be able to find our way back to Him.

Dito nga, those who can no longer be corrected/reformed are given death penalty. Court trials here in fact are to detemine whether or not a person who has committed a crime can be reformed in prison. Ironically, laws adopted and upheld by non-Christian Japanese have taught and made me to understand better Christian principles taught in church.

Will see if they will be careful not to vote for another philanderer or supposed to be one, McCain, who is now on a defensive regarding his affair with a former campaign manager of his, etc. Bible reading Americans surely know about unrighteous leaders who are caught with their pants down, and how God takes back blessings when the people are led by the unrighteous that why the likes of Gloria Dorobo has no recourse but pimp Filipinos overseas and incur billions of debts to cover up for what she cannot be bestowed with as blessings from Up Above.

This is in fact the kind of thing the religious in the Philippines should be doing. Tell them to about what God has said about philandering and corrupt leaders. They actually need not join rallies to show their support for the people. All they have to do is remind their congregation to do what is right all the time so that they may be able to see who among their politicians are following the Commandments of God as they themselves do or try to do.

In the first place sino nga ba ang mga napabalitang mahilig na magwiretap?

Look at what this Erwin Santos is doing, the filing of TRO by the discredited PNP ni Razon, the arrogant and challenging statements of Ermita, Bunyi, Lorelei Fajardo, Remonde, Gonzales regarding the threat of another people power, the insulting claim of Gaite, a lawyer (kuno) that he was a good samaritan trying to help Jun Lozada raise a half million pesos to defray his Hongkong expenses and worse, itong lantad na landad na pang gigipit kay Jun Lozada in trying to pin him down by bribing employees of PhilForest to come out in the open and testify against their former boss. NAKAKASUKA TALAGA.

  67. Eddfajardo:

Kahit na anong gawin nila lantad na sila. Lozada is a very credible witness, walang tinatago pati na iyong sariling ginawa niya at pinagawa sa kaniya. Golly, what more do the idiots there want?

Sa totoo lang, I find a lot of the questions asked him by a lot many of the senators foolish and irrelevant. Mas marami pa silang dapat na itanong but interrogators like Brain-damaged Mirriam, Enrile, and Joker Arryo to be verging on stupidity in their attempt to try to save the pork barrel, err Gloria Dorobobitch pala. Halatang-halatang groping in the dark ang mga ungas at gusto lang mapagtakpan si Gloria Dorobobitch!

If they think they can fool anybody, diyan sila mali! Hopefully, next time they run for office, nobody will vote for them and that some wind will blow them to their graves!
