Press release nga mismo ng Malacañang, “like a thief in the night”.

Malacanang’s hand is evident in the Senate’s attempt to terminate the ZTE deal. What else is new? Investigation after investigation, hearing after hearing then no closure. How many cases involving the illegal occupants of the Palace ever prospered? Nada. And now the Senate led by Alan Cayetano want to investigate the South Rail scam? It’s the same banana. No closure to the ZTE and now they want to start another which is a copy cat of the former. What happens to those military and police goons who kidnapped Jun Lozada and almost liquidated the guy had it not for the media? Will they be allowed to go free not even a slap on their hand? I’ve always doubted the people in the opposition…From Manny Villar to Alan Cayetano…they are not genuine opposition. It’s time for Pimentel and Lacson, so far the only true opposition, to pursue the ZTE case and the others. If the Senate keeps doing what it does now, then it’s time to dissolve the Senate!

Bakit walang nangyari duon, at walang ebidensiyang nailabas?

  3. parasabayan parasabayan

Razon, one of the “Greedy five” in the ZTE deal and the purse holder in the 2007 elections allegedly funded Cayetano’s candidacy. Siempre bayad utang muna si Alan! Almost all these Tongressmen and senatongs can not be trusted! Only a few are really for the people but these few happen to have no money machinery so talo rin sila! She knows exactly how to manipulate the people and the system Magaling pang magpalapad ng papel! She looks for opportunities to exploit situations to benefit her so she can gain mileage. She must really be devil possessed because inspite of all her sins to the people, no one seem to have the power to oppose her!

  4. bitchevil bitchevil

I think Razon not only funded Cayetano’s campaign, there were many others. That’s the reason why we don’t hear much from politicians. They could not even compel Razon to testify in the Senate when in fact his name was prominently mentioned in the hearing. Big tycoons are untouchables. Wasn’t Lucio Tan’s name also mentioned by Neri as those monopolizing the economy? I dare any politician or lawmaker to invite him to the House or Senate. At the most, he would send his highly paid counsel, Estelito Mendoza.

    – German bank accounts expose ni Alan Cayetano, WOW also, in the billions of dollars yata or in peso equivalent

bitchevil Says: “If the Senate keeps doing what it does now, then it’s time to dissolve the Senate!”

i agree with you, we pay them to fool us and drown us in debt.

Si villar dati pa duda na ako dyan, even in his early days in politics.

Because the wicked refuse to do what is just, their violence boomerangs and destroys them.
    Prov 21:07

yan para sa mga senador, “who refuse to do what is just”

  10. Etnad Etnad

  13. I don’t think they are blind especially Cayetano…. they are just politicians turned actor and as actors they follow the credo of the show must go on……

Now that it appears that the ZTE-NBN deal is not a hot issue anymore they will of course turn to other issues where they can safely grandstand and be a mainstay in the media.

  14. uroknon uroknon

Ellen, I am just wondering now if China has found the weakness of the tongressmen and the senatongs and are now bribing them directly! China is known to be able to work around obstacles!

  16. bitchevil bitchevil

It’s been going on in the Philippines for a long time. The Tsinoy businessmen and tycoons have long found the weakness of the congressmen and senators. China doesn’t need to teach them.

  17. parasabayan parasabayan

Bitchevil,we know that the tsinoys in our country are now the tycoons but the ZTE deal and that of the Spratly’s are directly linked to mainland China. If the tsinoy tycoons are involved, siguro mga padrino na lang sila.

  18. parasabayan parasabayan

Thus the word “kulangot” lang ang kita. These tsinoys made their way up and made it! These are not the same tsinoys I am referring to. I am referring to the “red” tsinoys!

  19. bitchevil bitchevil

Well then, what do you call our Tsinoys in the Philippines? Blue, Yellow Tsinoys?

  20. florry florry

What is happening to Cayetano?. Is he showing his true colors? He just gave a million reasons to the palace occupants to celebrate by absolving the bitch. Is this his way of saying sorry for his sins against the evil couple or just acting his part as scripted?

Talking of evidence, criminals always clean up their tracks and never leave a trace of evidence linking them to a crime. But in the case of Gloria allegedly being not involved due to “lack of evidence” is like saying Gloria won the presidency fair and square because there are no evidence to prove otherwise. In both cases evidence are more than enough to prove her involvement in these crimes, but she is really a real lucky evil bitch to always come out a winner because she has all the resources and the money to buy off anybody who dare come out against her. The senator investigators can’t do anything and they are no match against her evil ways. And the people, it seems they are still fast asleep and can’t lift a finger to help in a cause for change. Maybe they are just as numb in their hardships just as the illegal malacanang occupants in their unabated stealing lying and cheating.

I don’t know if Cayetano gave in due to some pressures but I still want to give him the benefit of doubt and I hope I am not wrong in my belief about him. He is so young, talented and still has a long long way and a big future ahead and he should be wise not to ruin it this early in his life and career by siding with the most corrupt most hated and the only bogus president this country ever had.

At last, the government is unified, the three branches. Everyone there now sings the same tune. Its time to look for something worthwhile where we can polarize every red blooded Filipino. Who knows, Hawaii must have been ours before. Filipino blood might have passed their veins, those hawaiians are still trying to regain what was lost. At least Guam is ours. And Sabah, too. Or we can overthrow the church. Its still here aggressively killing us with over population or pollution. But what the heck.

i wonder how we filipinos is so blind in what happening to our country, left and right there is corruption and blatant dis respect of the law, but filipinos take it likely, i don`t know why!! we keep on hearing about our hero`s our forefathers fighting the enemies of our homeland and yet we do nothing to right the wrongs.. one example is jonas burgos, he was taken in broad daylight at mall, yet no one gives a hand to help him..now we see mr palaparan the butcher leading 30 armed men taking over a legitimate business and yet he is not charge and he still had the gull..this people, including the fake president GMA has done so much damage to our country and yet she keep on giving statement as if she has the solution to all the crises we are having now, but in fact she is the crises!! when we filipino`s wake up and see the truth! when we filipino`s band together and oust this people pretending to be the saviour of our country!! enough is enough!! and if we don`t do anything,we will one day wake up that even this country the philippines will no longer ours!!

  24. parasabayan parasabayan

    Or Fsinoys…Pilipino or Filipino tsinoys.

  25. bitchevil bitchevil

    Just call them PFsinoys…

    Good enough!

  27. Game, set and match. The effing Supreme Court justices delivered the trophy to Gloria’s court. Nothing much you can do about it anymore.

The battle moves to a different theater. There, it’s not going to be decided by what is legal or not. Or whose side has the evidences.

Unfortunately, it may also be one bloody mess.

To Florry: What do you mean you don’t know if Cayetano gave in due to some pressures and that you still would give him the benefit of the doubt? What Cayetano did was as clear as daylight. He has shown his true colors. And so what if he is so young and so talented “with a with a long long way and a big future ahead”? What kind of future could this turncoat senator give our country? Are you still hoping that you’re not wrong in your belief about him? Sorry to tell you but you’re hoping against hope. This person is nothing more than a traditional politician. We don’t bank our hopes on such types. What’s more is that your perception about the (Filipino) people “seem to be still fast asleep and can’t lift a finger to help in a cause for a change”, is incorrect. We, the regular bloggers at Ellen’s blog are indeed actively involved in keeping the anti Arroyo sentiment alive and stronger. We do not have a defeatist attitude. We will continue to propagate the truth until this present administration falls. I do believe in my heart it will. And when it does, how sweet it is.

  29. I’ll post the news item on that interview. I have not given up on Sen. Cayetano yet but the public must be vigilant for any attempt to give us another snowjob, just like what Sen. Joker Arroyo did when he was the Blue Ribbon committee chairman.

  30. lakay lakay

    I agree with desensitizerman.
I have watched the interview and I believe Peter Cayetano was just misquoted.

Our Senator are not blind…they only pretend to be blind…and that’s more dangerous than being really blind.
