Victor Corpus talks Dim Mak

Retired Brig. Gen. Victor Corpus has come out with new book “America’s Dim Mak Points”, Unrestricted Warfare in the 21 st century.

The book is only 160 pages but it delivers a wallop.

Corpus uses a lot of Chinese philosophy in discussing geo-politics. He defines Dim Mak as a form of martial art which literally means “meridian press.”

Meridians are energy channgels in the human body through which “chi or vital life forces flow. A weaker combatant skilled in Dim Mak will know which particular point along the meridians to strike in a given time of day in a certain way to defeat a more powerful opponent with a minimum of movement.

Here’s exceprts from the book:

“If ever a major war erupts between superpower America and the weaker nations like China, Russia, or Iran, we can expect the weaker ones to resort to unrestricted warfare.

“ It will not be confined to a mere shooting war. It will involve combat on land, lsea, air, in outer space, cyberspace and even into the microbial realm. It will encompass attacks on a nation’s electric grids, computer networks, strategic resources, oil supply routes, logistic, sea lanes, national currency, trade, banking and finance, stock exchange, basic services, and the nation’s social fabric. It will also include combat in the realms of media, the environment, diplomacy, culture and the struggle for alliances.

“Unrestricted warfare was conceptualized by two senior colonels of the People’s Libeation Army of China, Qiao Liang and Wang Xiangsui, in their famous book, “Unrestricted Warfare” published in 1999. Qiao’s famous quotes on the subject is that “the first rule of unrestricted warfare is that there are no rules, with nothing forbidden.” Usually, rules are laid down by the strong to dominate the weak. To level the playing field, the weak has to break the rules, avoid the enemy’s strength, and hit the strong side at its most vulnerable points.

“Another Chinese theorist on modern warfare, Chang Mengxiong, compared China’s form of fighting to “a Chinese boxer with a keen knowledge of vital body points who can bring an opponent to his knees with a minimum of movements.” It is like key acupunture points in ancient Chinese medicine. Puncture one vital point and the whole anatomy is affected. Acupuncture is normally used for healing. But some acupuncture points called Dim Mak, when hit in a specific way at certain times of the day can cause paralysis or instant death.

“If America ever wages war against China, say over Taiwan, then it should be prepared for the following Dim Mak points in its (national) anatomy to be the forces of attacks. Each one of these vital points can bring America to its knees with a minimum of effort:

*Vulnerability to Electro-Information Attack

*Dependency on Foreign Oil

*US Dollar Vulnerability

*Diplomatic Isolation

*Geographical Military Handicap

*Asymmetric Vulnerability

*Satellite-based Military Command and Control

*Aircraft Carrier Battle Groups”

Corpus gives some suggestions how US can effectively save itself:

“Reverse the policy of unilateralism in US foreign policy. Unilateralism has alienated the US from its major allies. It causes resentment, even hate, of the U.S in many parts of the world. Unilateralism fosters unbridled arrogance of power that turns off friends and foes alike.

“Stop interfering in the internal affairs of other countries. Respect sovereignty and territorial integrity of other countries. This will involve refraining from subversion of other countries in the guise of promoting democracy and human rights, such as instigation of “color” revolutions and giving clandestine support to separatists movements in other countries.

“Lead the world in the search for cures of drug resistant diseases and cancer, and take the lead in the global struggle against poverty. Influence the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank to lead in writing off foreign debts of poor and developing nations.

American’s Dim Mak Points is published by Anvil Publishing Inc and Powerbooks. It will be launched on July 30, 2009 at 6 p.m.Powerbooks Greenbelt 4, Makati City.

‘Dim Mak’ tactics are already being used by this illegal, corrupt and repressive government to weaken or silence the opposition, any organization or person it considers as enemy. These are:

    Intimidation
    Torture
    Assassination
    Kidnapping or forced disappearance
    Character Assassination
    Bribery (Brown Envelopes, tong-pats, dole-out)
    Misinformation
    Coercion
    Disaffirmations
    Illegal Imprisonment
    Raiding Opposition Newspapers
    Restricting rallies or demonstrations
Holding back pork barrels & other benefits
    Planting of evidence
    Right of Reply (Pending Bill)
    Martial Law (Coming Soon)

    Dim Mak!!!
Nasira yung “proper reason at common sense.”

  3. “diplomatic isolation” to be used against the US? because china attacked taiwan and the US “meddled”? uhh… besides the US has a very popular president in obama. the chinese leadership are oppressive unelected commies.

if china or iran confronts the US directly and declares war on them, no amount of “asymetrical” warfare can save their asses from total destruction. this will be like WW2 all over again.

On a serious thought, America has already been punctured in its weakest point, the American dream is no more.

    Who is this Victor Corpuz?

Does he has any right to write a book advising one what has to be done?

  6. US and China will not engage in a catastrophic war.Victor Corpus is wrong,USA had mastered that Dim Mak technique. You see what is coming very clearly its a rosy picture but will take years of work on all sides of the globe. I dont think humanity will destroy itself, we may not be smart, but we arent stupid. No one would make any money if we were all dead!!

The Chinese government does all that it can to avoid clashes with the United States, China would rather be on the same side of an international issue than at odds with the USA.

It’s true while the U.S. population is 305 million plus people, China’s is 1.3 billion, and India’s is 1.1 billion.
The US know ahead of time when do the Chinese attack, when there army do a jumping jack, there’s an earthquake.

China have no aircraft carriers and no ability to extend their military reach beyond the Pacific, and while their economy is growing rapidly, the focus is largely on domestic development.

Has anyone noticed how much of our products are from or made in China? They already control the economy. And the Chinese government is known for many human rights violations, and they are cozy with Russians, Venezuela, Iran– all enemies of Western civilization. If they choose to become hostile toward USA and Europe, all they have to do is stop all imports and the economy will collapse, making them easy pickings.

China is formidable, but it is not ready to supplant the U.S. anytime soon unless Pareng Barak chooses to weaken the US dramatically.

  7. I wonder how many people will buy Victor Corpus book.I’m sure he can sell more than 3 copies to his mother, father and parents.

  8. China’s big problem right now is food.It has a huge population, its agricultural lands have been disappearing to industrial development, its water supplies are under serious stress and the Communist Party has a long-term future to think of.

It should surprise no one that food security is high on the Chinese government’s agenda. And with more money in foreign exchange reserves, China has deep pockets from which to invest in its own food security abroad. As many farmers’ leaders and activists know, Beijing has been gradually outsourcing part of its food production since well before the global food crisis broke out.

Through China’s new geopolitical diplomacy, and the government’s aggressive “Go Abroad” outward investment strategy, some agricultural cooperation deals have been sealed in recent years to give Chinese firms access to “friendly country” farmland in exchange for Chinese technologies, training and infrastructure development funds. This is happening now with the Nunalisa government, a steady and familiar process is under way, with Chinese companies leasing or buying up land, setting up large farms, flying in farmers, scientists and extension workers, and getting down to the work of crop production. Most of China’s offshore farming is dedicated to the cultivation of biofuel crops. The rice produced abroad invariably means hybrid rice, grown from imported Chinese seeds, and Chinese farmers and scientists are enthusiastically teaching Filipinos to grow rice “the Chinese way”. However, local farmworkers hired to work the Chinese farms, for instance, often don’t know if the rice is to feed Filipinos or the Chinese.

any chinese- american war will be short,i.e., nuclear war, total annihilation.americans have learned this in the korean war. had they followed mcarthur’s advise to go atomic, there would have been no chinese problem today just like what happened to japan.in a prolonged conventional war, china has the edge unless japan becomes militaristic again.

Nah, hindi magkakarun ng gera between ‘merika and insik, at least not in Pareng Barak’s time. Ang gusto lang ni kumpare BO ay mag-gallivant in the world, pero hindi nagpapasyal sa rural US so that he knows more about the problems of the world than the poor sections of ‘his’ own country. Binagsak tuloy s’ya ng Ohio.

The meridien press of BO is exposed, madaling talunin si Uncle Sam unless its military will ignore him when war with China happens.

Ginamit niya ang galing in favor of Gloria and Mike Pidal in return for a luxurious life.

  12. Ang galing mo pala chi. Turuan mo ako niyan ha. Solar plexus? Crown Chakra? Dim Mak? Panlaban kay Pan Dak!

  13. chi chi

Tongue, ang pinaka-weakest energy point ni Pan Dak ngayon ay yung about 2 inches below the navel (bago mismo dun) kasi ay kaaahit. hehehe!

  14. habib habib

Chi, Two inches below the navel? Kaaahit?

Tama ka, isang istrayk mo lamang sa kanyang Adam’s eypol, ‘yung two inches below the navel niya, tigok agad. Galing mo!

  15. Danilo Danilo

    BGen. Victor Corpuz (Ret.)

According to former National Security Adviser Roilo S. Golez, he was his squad leader at PMA, before Roy was sent to USNA in MD.

Raided PMA armory defected to the CPP/NPA. Also involved in the MV Karagatan incident. Was sentenced to die by musketry along with Ninoy Aquino and Bernabe Buscayno. I was still a small lad back then, as a small child I had no interests on RPN 9 News, but wacky racers was funny.

He wrote “Oplan Lambat Bitag” based on his experiences with the communist movement, and how to defeat the CPP/NPA. It was sort of mandatory reading then. Lets just say, it was my venus flytrap. Class marcher. Impromptu speeches. Boring. I saw the NPA had its numbers cut down in the war of attrition, I am still under the impression that the final phase called war of rapid conclusion will not be so rapid.

On America’s Dim Mak points, yes it sounds interesting. Just because Gen. Corpuz served as GMA’s ISAFP chief I would not ridicule his observations. Its worth a look. The book has nothing to do with GMA’s weak spot such as that mole (nothing fancy just press to kill yun lang pala), or about Ador Mawanay on Sen. Lorens favorite number (3210) and certainly not about Sen Ping Lacson’s bank accounts in the US. There will surely be complementary copies at the Library. Try NDCP or CGSC.

    tongue n’ habib,

Mano ‘y mano, mati-TKO ko si Pan Dak in just a second!

It only serves one’s interest and pride.

  18. ARecarte ARecarte

I won’t trust anything written by this double-crossing bigot, who after finishing his government scholarship to the Philippine Military Academy decided to join the NPA and attacked the PMA armory. I have the impression that he himself is a hardcore marxist even before he went to study at that premier military school. He has published books about how to defeat the communist insurgents at a time when the rebellion has subsided and he decided to re -join the government at a time when the communist uprising is at its lowest point. Talking about good timing—-very similar to the style of Joma Sison who is now in Ultrecth. And now he is dipping into international power politics between the US and China?…once a marxist…always a marxist. i won’t trust him.
