Mukhang tuloy na tuloy na ang eleksyon sa 2010. Noong Martes, nagdesisyon ang Supreme Court sa na ituloy and election automation kahit hindi pa nagkaroon ng testing sa dalawang syudad at probinsya sa Luzon, Visayas at Mindanao ayun sa batas.
Sa botong 3 (No) – 11 (Yes) at 1(hindi bomoto), sinabi ng mataas na hukuman na “waived” o hindi na naga-apply ang batas na yan.
Ay ewan. Magdasal na lang tayo na hindi magkakalat ang Comelec at Smartmatic-TIM sa 2010 eleksyun at ang kagustuhan ng taumbayan ay lalabas.
Busy na ang lahat na partido sa preparasyun para sa 2010 na eleksyun. Walong buwan na lang. Si Noynoy Aquino, nagpahayag na kahapon na siya ay tatakbo bilang presidente. Sinabi niya na inalok niya kay Sen. Mar Roxas ang pagka-bise presidente. Wala pa raw desisyun si Mar.
Sa aming pag-uusap sa ibang miyembro ng Liberal Party, Noynoy-Mar daw ang tiket nila. Sa susunod na mga araw na nila ipahayag yun para siyempre mas palagi sila sa diyaryo.
Si dating pangulong Joseph Estrada ay may ipapahayag daw sa mga araw mula Sept. 23 hanggang Sept. 30. Sabi ni dating ambassador Ernesto Maceda na siyang spokesman ngayon ng United Opposition ay nagpa-feng shui daw sila at sinabi na yung daw ang magandang mga petsa para kay Estrada.
Marami kasi ang nagtatanong kay Estrada kung siya rin ay aatras para kay Noynoy dahil itinaas niya ang kamay ni Noynoy noon sa kanilang pagbisita sa Payatas. Sabi ni bisita, bakit naman daw aatras si Estrada ay mataas siya sa survey. Photo-op lang daw ang pagtataas ng kamay ni Noynoy ni Estrada.
Ewan, ano ba yan. Hindi pala siya seryoso sa kanyang ginagawa.
Dapat siguro mapagisip-isip ni Estrada na mas makakabuti sa bayan kung gagamitin niya ang suporta niya galing sa masa para suportahan ang isang mas batang kandidato kaysa ipagpipilit na naman niya ang kanyang sarili. Hindi lang naman siya ang nag-iisang taong pwede mamuno ng bayan. Mas hahanga-an ko siya kung tutulong na lang siya sa isang oposisyun na kandidato para masiguradong matatalo ang kandidato ni Arroyo.
Napabilis yata ang pangyayari sa pulitika dahil sa ginawa nina Mar Roxas at Noynoy Aquino. Si Sen. Chiz Escudero na sana ay mag-aanunsyo ng kanyang plano para 2010 sa kanyang 40th na kaarawan sa Oct. 10 ay balitang magpapahayag na sa susunod na mga araw. Magkakaroon daw ng miting ang Nationalist People’s Coalition para mamili kung sino kina Chiz at Sen. Loren Legarda ang kanilang magiging standard bearer itong buwan.
Sa kampo naman ng administrasyon, sa Sept. 15 daw magpapahayag si Bise Presidente Noli de Castro ng kanyang plano. Siya ba ay tatakbo bilang kandidato ng administrasyon? Kung ayaw kasi ni De Castro nandiyan si Defense Secretary Gilbert Teodoro na .02 per cent ang nakukuha na rating sa mga gusto sa kanya magiging pangulo na naghihintay ng basbas ni Gloria Arroyo.
Sa Nacionalista party naman, hindi na sila kailangan mamili dahil desidido na sila kay Sen. Manny Villar na nangunguna ngayon sa survey.
Umiinit na ang election fever. Sana ito ay magiging daan para maayos natin ang ating bansa.
Villar has money? Then he will cheat…

The opposition candidates (daw):
1)Erap – He has been there. He already knows the ins and outs. No more on-the-job-training for him. Contrary to some beliefs, he did not blow his chance on his shortened term. His term was unconstitionally cut short and his chance was blown out of the Palace by the evil society supported by Cory and her group. He showed his soft side and sacrificed himself when he voluntarily left the palace to avoid bloodshed. Nobody knows how he really performed if he was allowed to complete his term. He deserved another chance.
2)Chiz – (iffy) among all the candidates Erap and Chiz are the real oppositionist. While it is true that Gloria is his godmother, the fact is in politics brothers, sisters, parents and in-laws differ in beliefs and opinions and belong to opposing camps. He was not a part of those who railroaded erap’s fall. He is brainy compared to any of the presidentiables. He is young, energetic and not short of experience as a minority leader in the lower house. He can be the hope of the future.
3)Villar – The greediest and most opportunistic of them all. He is the not so secret anointed horse of Gloria.
4)Noynoy – So bland and no charisma. He has nothing yet to show except that he is an Aquino. He is still dreaming that it is still 1986. He thought that the Marcoses are still his enemies. He intentionally forgot that the enemy at hand is Gloria and her families with their illegal and stolen wealth which are being headlined by Vera Files. He is not a chip of the old block. He is more of a Gloria. Cannot stand on his own without the sisters. More of a follower than a leader. His performance in his many years in Congress and later in the Senate gives us a hint on what he is capable of – Nada as in nothing – because he did never have a clue on what he is supposed to do, and now he wanted to become a president.
Oh, please, come on, give me a break!
Ellen Chiz was the one saying that he is open to being Erap’s vice. It was in the Inquirer.
Tigas naman ng ulo ni Erap. As long as he does not clear himself and his conviction remains as is, he cannot run for office according to the law. Pampagulo lang siya. Wala na ngang mabotong matino, pinapahina pa ang mga kalaban ni Gloria Dorobo, who may not run for the presidency but the husband will surely try to remain as the Philippines’ Rasputin no matter what.
Gumawa na lang siya ng mga documentaries ala-Michael Moore, baka may matutunan pa ang mga kababayan niyang tinatanga nila.

Bakit malakas loob ni Erap na tumakbo at mag gastos, gayong hindi siya sigurado kung allowed siya under the law? Isang consideration yan na dapat linawin dahil sayang lang ang boto sa kanya kung disqualified pala siya.
Valedictorian grumaduate sina Escudero at Alan Cayetano sa pagka Certified Tradpol (CT). Itong si Adel Tamano ay soon to graduate also, promoted kaagad, hindi pa man naka enroll sa school of politics. Sorry to his fans here, pero that is how i percieve him right now.

Who would want to go to Libya anyway. I for one wouldn’t want to, even if it’s FREE! But if it’s USA or Europe, siguradong sangkaterbang sipsip ang sasama. Besides, it’s election fever na nga and the tongressmen are busy campaigning already.
Parang gusto pang ipagmalaki ng palasyo ni Gloria na walang solons ang sasama this time around. Duh?!
Why does Erap threaten to run?
Erap can run if he wants to. He doesn’t have to threaten the other opposition forces to unite or else..he will run. It’s a rather arrogant egotistic and bullying stance, isn’t it?
Does he consider himself the father of all the opposition forces? Who is the opposition in his view? Does he consider Villar part of the opposition? Has he talked to Villar to withdraw? Does he intend to talk to Villar at all?
And who will initiate these talks? Has he actually personally contacted all the parties he considers as opposition?
In fact, is Erap part of the opposition at all? The way he has been acting lately, it seems he really does intend to run anyway. And this is the reason why talks abound that he may have gotten into a deal with Gloria.
Erap should make up his mind now to run or support other candidates. He is not helping the opposition forces any. He is actually weakening them.
Maganda sana kung ibalik na lang ulit yong “two party system” na gaya noon na NP at LP lang ang naglalaban. Mamimili na lang sila kung sino ang karapat dapat na itapat nila doon sa kalabang grupo. Hindi tulad ngayon na labo labo. Total mahilig naman tayo talagang manggaya e di gayahin na lang nila yong style ng Amerika. Hindi tulad ngayon na pati Pari, Pastor ay puwede ng lumaban.
I’m not opposed to having many parties if only Pinas had run off elections system, primary elections to determine two highest scorers who will battle it out in the final elections.
The one that has majority of votes wins.
That way, the winner will at least have a clear, even moral mandate. Very difficult to govern when a president’s final mandate is based only on a quarter of total votes cast.
There are two candidates who are still a bit of a puzzle for me. Can’t put my finger on what they really are. Chiz and Gibo.
Chiz, very very young, is NPC. NPC is Danding’s party. Chiz is open to be Presidential candidate of NPC. But also open to be VP of Erap under PMP. So Danding has a candidate in NPC and in PMP.
Then there’s Gibo Teodoro, practically an unknown entity, used to be with NPC of uncle Danding. He’s now with Gloria, with Kampi. Shooting suddenly for the Presidency. Question: Why did he leave NPC to join Gloria’s camp? Why does Gibo have the audacity to push himself or allow himself to be pushed into that candidacy when his chances of winning are practically nil? He’s at the bottom of the barrel in the surveys. He’s not that stupid nor naive.
Are both Chiz and Gibo part of a complex brilliant strategy of NPC and Kampi?
Chiz and Gibo are really a puzzle for me. Like wooden pieces being moved around on a chessboard by an invisible controlling hand.

Danding is a corporate “chess” player so I won’t be surprised if he is moving these gentlemen around as his pawns.
If he is a master of his craft, expect him to spring a surprise, eg., field an extra pawn to disrupt the main players; that way, the main players will be forced to call for the invisible controlling hand to intervene.

Who is Amay Bisaya?
PSB, I don’t know who is the source of the Inquirer for its story. Just this afternoon, I was talking with Chiz’ very close friend who is helping him. They have lined up something in the coming weeks.
It’s up to you who to believe.
I’m making the correction because I don’t want this blog to be a vehicle for misinformation.

Sorry Ellen it was I who first posted it (Chiz & Erap team-up). I posted a link of the Inquirer report above (# 3 post).
Just talked with Chiz’ public relations officer. Chiz said he was misquoted. He will issue a statement denying the story.
I will not insist to you if I were not sure of my information.
Anna, Chiz said it’s the second time that the reporter misquoted him. I’m not exactly surprised.

Amay Bisaya is a character actor. He usually ends up being pulverized by the punching prowess of FPJ in his movies. An ardent supporter of FPJ during the 2004 presidential elections.
Mike, it’s not your fault. It’s the report. That’s why I’m correcting it because I know the report is wrong.

Indeed, the election fever is really heating up. Even “deceptive and twisted” media reports such as the Inquirer’s on Chiz & Erap supposed team-up is gaining momentum favoring (or un-favoring) potential candidates. I wouldn’t be surprised if misquoted reports keep popping up more frequently till election day.

I usually read almost all papers and the Inquirer is one of those I frequently read much more than the others. Maybe the writer is a paid one. I hope not. Point taken. Parang mas OK pa para sa akin si Harry Roque, but I would not advice him to run. He is more effective as a crusading lawyer, who loves his country and people too much to make those sacrifices he does now.

For me, he can make amends for what he did by helping educate his people and the voters especially by making films. Diyan niya ubusin ang pera niya, both legally and illegally acquired. Why can it be enough that he has hoodwinked those who voted for him because they thought he was a genuine opposition and would do his best to ouster the creepy criminals squatting at the palace by the murky river? Ang Jueteng sa Ilocos hanggang ngayon ay talamak. Hindi na si Erap ang Pangulo … ngayon sino ang beneficiary ng mga Singson. Kahit sa Pampangga di ba yon din ang problema ni Among Ed. Doon sa Probinsiya ni Padaca di ba hanggang ngayon meron pa. Hindi ko makita kung anong kasalanan ni Erap dito at gaya ng nasabi mo na hindi siya nagnakaw ng kaban ng Bayan — si Erap ay malinis. Hindi pumunta si Erap sa ibang Bansa para mag-Golf at mag witness sa isang signing ng ma-anomalyang transaksyon. Hindi niya ibinenta ang Fort Bonifacio. Kung may kasalanan man si Erap konti lang ikumpara sa mga ginawa nila Ramos at Arroyo. Siyempre hindi rin perpekto si Erap mayroon din siyang nagawa na hindi ayon sa Batas yon nga lang pinapalaki na lang nila ang istorya.
Sinabi mo pa, Tedanz, but it is not enough reason para pabalikin pa si Erap.
Truth is I did not support EDSA 2. I thought it was wrong because there was no reason for Erap to be removed at that time especially with projects already ongoing and needed to be done before the expiry of his term. At least, we knew then that there was no money in the coffers for him to steal so the guy had to make do with those bribes to push his projects.
Amenado ako for instance doon sa efforts ni Erap to scrap the Japayuki deployment as requested by Japan. Kaya galit na galit kami ng mga kaibigan ko sa movement against the deployment of Filipino wannabe prostitutes to Japan when Gloria Kulimbat even made it her No. 1 Export Industry!!!
But as I have mentioned above and in the other loops, time for Erap to give way to better wannabe presidents the way. The best thing he can do is make movies to educate his people, and to remember him by.

As for the anomalous deals with other countries during his time, I doubt na wala. Bantay sarado nga kami sa mga bisita niya noong sa Tsina, Korea, etc.

Filipinos are very clannish as a matter of fact. They recognize kinship ties merely by having the same family name. They abide by the saying, “Blood is thicker than water.”

Erap is okay as a person as a friend. He is not evil like some people we know.
But why does he have to always alienate the rich and moderately rich? It is always a common theme for him. The rich vs. the poor. The rich vs. the poor.
I find this rather shallow and hypocritical. Always using the poor to win his political battles. Then surrounding himself and carousing at midnight with his rich circle of friends.
