Let’s make our voices of concern be heard

Gloria Arroyo’s cheating operating is still at work. If they have not been very effective so far, it is because of the vigilance of the people. But don’t count them out yet.

They are still at it in their well-planned, systematic and shameless plunder of our votes.

Please join the Concerned Citizens at a People’s Proclamation and Protest rally on Wednesday, May 23 at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC), where the Comelec canvassing is being held.

Assembly point: Star City at 3 p.m.

Please wear black. Bring your friends and associates.

Let us not allow this shameless administration to to murder our democracy again. Not Again.

Mabuhay and dakilang Pilipino!

    Ellen,
I’ll be there in spirit and prayers for the success of this assembly.
Let us all cry…NEVER AGAIN, Tianak! DO or DIE!!!

whatever comes and gloria macagarapal arroyo is still glued in her grabbed seat inside the malacanan palace, nothing changes except her new sets of defenders she can rely on to thwart another impeachment this coming july. with her another son in front line, expect the crispy “putang ina” to roar inside the congress during the proceedings.

  3. Mrivera Mrivera

sets of defenders she WILL rely on to …..

  4. Ellen,

We intend to make true our threat to embarrass the cheat here if she does not stop with her gimmicks although I have faith that God does not sleep that He will not allow these crooks to do as they wish. Evidence is the early detection of attempts to cheat our favorite candidates of their votes.

I have also faith that God will not allow those who have won their seats in the provinces with the help of this cheating machinery to be able to stop the inevitable—the final removal of the cheat from her present exalted position. Something dreadful definitely will befall them for God has spoken through the people.

Look at how the Heavens above will punish Maguindanao for what it has done to thwart the Will of God. Even now, we see the confusion and no one can say that election there was fair and clean. No wonder that it has in fact become more like a land cursed by God above.

You bet, the counting is not yet over, but God does not sleep, nor do we!

    This is interesting:

    Namfrel: ‘Voter turnout only 50%’

    By Thea Alberto
    INQUIRER.net
Last updated 05:46pm (Mla time) 05/19/2007

MANILA, Philippines — Citing its own records, the National Movement for Free Election (Namfrel) said Saturday that voter turnout during the May 14 mid-term elections was only around 50 percent, way below the Commission on Elections’ (Comelec) 60 to 70 percent announcement.

“Based on our record of [the] number of precincts tabulated as of 12:10 today, the total number of votes of people who voted and [which] we have processed…tend to show that the voter turnout for this year’s election may be closer to 50 percent than what we have heard [Comelec say] that is 70 percent,” Go told a press conference.

Comelec had predicted a 90 percent turnout before May 14.

    ***************************

Doesn’t this mean that if NAMFREL’s count is 50% of 45 million registered voters as opposed to COMELEC’s 60%, Abalos would roughly have 4.5M “voters” to play w/ to pad votes ?!?

  6. chi chi

Ano pa nga ba, Chabeli? Yun na yun! Abaloslos will swim in the unaccounted 4.5M votes!

  7. At least, I am relieved that Namfrel is not playing Gloria’s game but beware because it is not an official agency to announce the real winners. That is still the prerogative of Comelec.

The people can only make use of Namfrel’s and AMA’s tallies when Comelec tries to make monkey business, and by then, GO’s lawyers may try to gather all their wits and courage to oppose Abaloslos with the support of the 4M Filipinos who want the crooks out. This time there is the unseen Hands that will them to the right path to glory!!!

    No doubt about that!

  8. Chabeli Chabeli

    Chi,
Ang garapal ni Garapata (Abalos) !

To PICC on Wednesday then !!!

  9. Nakaka-over 3M na sina Escudero, Loren and Lacson. One more M and the counting is over. By Monday naman siguro we will know the actual result, daya o no daya. Then, we can try embarrassing the idiot whereever she tries to hold victory parties overseas. The victory party in Japan is scheduled on the 24th. A lot my friends have turned down the invitation to show their disgust for this creep calling herself president. Shame on those who are attending just for the heck of it.

  10. Chabeli Chabeli

Let’s keep praying, Ystakei. We must not let our guard down. Not just yet. We’re still in the critical period.

  11. With the invitation of international observers everybody including Abalos knows very well that the result is that the whole world can see how corrupt and violent our elections are not even with Abalos is in charge but BECAUSE this corrupt Abalos is in charge. Abalos has no shame what-so-ever. Not withstanding the padding of his personal finances he expects a reward of a position in the SC. better he’s used as a caddy at some elite golf tournament.
No wonder that observers around the world treat us as the top of the league of cheaters, thieves and most corrupt society in our region.
But lets face it. we allow this Bastard Abalos to do this bad reputation to us. Everyone should tell him at every opportunity, “stand down Abalos your rotten to the core! we can do much better without you and your corrupt commission.”

  12. This clown Abalos is supposed to be there to protect our vote – he’s a friggin bad joke!

  13. Chabeli:

Kontra Daya recommends as many Filipinos there are willing to sacrifice work days and nights to watch the counting at the Batasan and making sure that the boxes there are not stolen and/or switched with those made at some houses by the Malacanang robbers and thieves.

Good luck sa inyong lahat! We’re being vigilant overseas likewise. Cannot allow these crooks from getting their way. Enough is enough. Tama na ang mga kabulastugan nila!

  14. Here is a good quote I got: “To one who has faith, no explanation is necessary. To one without faith, no explanation is possible.”

Let’s just believe that this mid-term election is a referendum on Gloria Pidal a.k.a. Gloria Macapal Arroyo, ant that the Filipinos have made their mandate to remove this imp/feign!

  15. chi chi

Sige mga kapatid, sugod sa PICC sa May 23 at ipakita natin kay

    Dear Ellen

As reported by PDI from NAMFREL tally as of may 19/12:09 pm:

Eight candidates, 5 GOs, 3 TUs/Ind are more or less assured of winning. That’s like winning four first prizes in the Lotto (at P5 million per winning draw). Who are they? Legarda, Escudero, Lacson, Pangilinan, Villar, Noynoy, Angara and Joker. Legarda have already 4,055,737 unofficially counted votes while Joker has 2,641,917 votes.
The last four candidates occupying Nos. 9 to 12 are 2 GOs and 2TUs/Ind, namely, 9- Honasan; 10-Cayetano; 11-Trillanes; and 12-Zubiri. Tailor-made for Gloria? Not at all. More like devil-made for devil-woman (remember the song?) Gloria already has Zubiri, her young obedient Doberman. She needs 3 more ferocious ones like Defensor, Pichay, and Singson. Defensor and Pichay are true Dobermans. They are HOT. Singson is more of a Pitbull as clueless Erap later found out in the solitude and serenity of Tanay. Wise Gloria won’t make the same mistake.
But why DOBERMANS when there are other canines? A Doberman owner will tell you this canine is the best pet and security machine. From a family of masters, this dog will choose and protect only one master and will die protecting that master, which means never mind other cabinet members, snarl and bite only for the president. Cayetano and Trillanes should not be in the senate by all means. Cayetano has shown promising signs of being a Rothweiller while Trillanes having been trained to maim and kill could turn out to be a Pitbull.
So if it is truly devil-made, this election will have the following dogs (5 GOs and 7glorias) in the Senate):
Legarda – beautiful poodle turned hound dog, could one day turned pitbull by the Pasig.
Escudero- young Doberman who feigns barking at his master, potential pitbull by the Pasig,
    Lacson- Rothweiller with electronic necklace
Pangilinan- Pampanga native dog who loves singing poodle
Villar- debonair Doberman prince of gated villages and Ayala watering holes
Noynoy- smiling but friendly barking poodle
    Angara- smirking Doberman with eyeglasses
Joker- ageing German shepherd, infrequent high pitch bark
Zubiri- young Doberman best for dog shows
Defensor- Doberman with a long wagging tail
Oreta/Sotto/Recto/Singson- canines in the order of their master’s choice

The Senate is home for elite dogs. No Ascal in the Senate.
Dog lovers and dog experts anyone? Please feel free to improve on the above canine classification. My promise of numbers is yet to come.

I just hope the organizers are able to mobilize a lot of warm bodies.

We have to let Gloria know once and for all that decent Filipinos just have had enough of her.

Tama na. Sobra na. Mahiya na!

  32. Tuloy ang pagpapahiya sa Pandak sa Japan. We’ll see what God above will do to the criminal who is thwarting the people’s and even God’s Will as a matter of fact in this referendum.

Huwag pabayaan ang mga garapal na makapagdaya! The OAV in fact had an overall 8-1-3 for GO. The trend cannot be different back home.
Gotta go on with my fast tomorrow.

Ellen, there is an Internet Brigader here trying to condition the minds of bloggers here to lose hope that the Will of God is about to be thwarted, and they cannot do anything about it. I dare say otherwise. Bantay salakay sa 23rd. Dito din bantay salakay kami.

  33. Lumang tugtugin na ang ginagawa ni Pandak. Hindi na dapat umubra ang kalokohan niya. We have seen lots of miracles happening these past few days. We must not feel defeated at all because Somebody Up There sure do care and will not allow the dark forces to succeed in their evil schemes. Iyong nincompoop trying to discourage us should not be allowed to smirk at us. He does not speak for us. Sipain din ang isang ungas na ito.

Just have faith. Tignan lang natin kung may ibubuga si Abaloslos sa kapangyarihan ng Poong Maykapal. Hindi nga nila maipaliwanag ang nangyayari pagbibisto sa kanilang mga ginagawa. Now, they try the disappearing act of the newpapers on cyberspace so the people will not know the truth. Amazingly, nabibisto pa rin sila.

That arrogant husband of Vilma is still trying to squeeze himself in the Senate by all means! Now, I believe, he really belongs to the Tianak’s fold! They’re one and the same color! And he was even very confident to win in this seat without campaigning match! He thought he was his lolo’s son…Good for you, idiot!
Kung magnanakaw na naman kayo ni Tianak, galingan n’yo na, dahil I don’t think you gonna get it the easiest way! Not now, Tianak…Shame on you two!!!

  35. Diego K. Guerrero Diego K. Guerrero

Gloria Arroyo needs more certified TUTA (puppet) in the Senate like Defensor, Pichay and Zubiri. Most likely election manipulators are targeting Aquino, Alan Cayetano, Pimentel and Trillanes in dagdag-bawas scheme. Why the Abalos’ Comelec allow this to happen? Is the discredited NAMFREL part of the conspiracy? Battery of GO-UNO lawyers may not enough to guard the true mandate of the Filipino people. Continuous peoples’ vigilance against the cheaters until the last ER is counted. Ibasura ang mga bantay salakay-COMELEC at NAMFREL!

  36. Chi,

We must remember that Recto was not supposed to be voted in 2001, but after some manipulation with the ERs, he was able to get in. He’s trying to do the same again. This, Filipinos should not allow. Nagmumukhang walanghiya tuloy ang lahat ng mga Batangueno!

Yesterday, we saw how Among Ed – Anak ng Diyos – won over Kumareng Baby – Anak ng Jueteng – and Mark Lapid – Anak ng Bulkan.
    —–
Today, the brainless veep, Kabayan De Castro, berated Atty. Makalintal over the radio for volunteering for Fr. Panlilio. Atty. Mac (I hate this guy but in this instance, I am with him) was even reminded about Aristide, the Catholic priest who became Haiti president and was later overthrown. Was this dumbo hinting that Among Ed will suffer the same fate? They may be planning to unseat him ‘cuz the 11 mayors (out of Pampanga’s 14) supporting Pineda will soon lose millions of jueteng protection money should Fr. Panlilio be forced to clamp down on jueteng. Jueteng and corruption are the two pre-poll issues that made Pampangos gamble on the priest.
    —–
DZRH also today interviewed a teacher-now-whistleblower from Maguindanao who detailed how the 12-0 TU sweep happened in Maguindanao. She said they filled out the ballots a day before elections on orders of ARMM Gov. Ampatuan’s men.

Listen to this, the armed men even took some children to the safehouse where the ballots were being prepared so that the kids’ thumbmarks will be used in the ballots.

  45. Lesson namin sa Sunday School ngayon ay tungkol sa dasal and perseverance in prayer. It will give me more spiritual strength as I fast and pray for Sonny Trillanes.

Jesus presented the parable of the unjust judge and the widow.

Jesus presented this parable to a group of Pharisees.

Luke 18:1 According to this verse, Jesus gave the parable of the unjust judge and the widow to teach men that they should always pray and be tireless about prayer.

Elder James E. Talmage taught, “Jesus did not indicate that as the wicked judge finally yielded to supplication so would God do; but He pointed out that if even such a being as this judge, who ‘feared not God, neither regarded man,’ would at last hear and grant the widow’s plea, no one should doubt that God, the Just and Merciful, will hear and answer” (Jesus the Christ, 3rd ed. [1916], 436).

Luke 18:7; Alma 34:27 To pray always indicates that we need to pray throughout the day—at any time we need to communicate with Heavenly Father. And when we are not in prayer, we can have a prayer in our hearts throughout the day.

Luke 18:7-8; 2 Nephi 32:9, D&C 90:24 Blessings that can come to us when we pray always include protection and justice, the Lord’s support as we act in his service, and that all things shall work together for our good.

Persevering in prayer is an act of faith. Sometimes, when we have persevered in prayer and feel that we have not received an answer, we should heed the counsel of Elder Richard G. Scott, who said: “It is a mistake to assume that every prayer we offer will be answered immediately. Some prayers require considerable effort on our part. … “When we explain a problem and a proposed solution [to our Heavenly Father], sometimes He answers yes, sometimes no. Often He withholds an answer, not for lack of concern, but because He loves us—perfectly. He wants us to apply truths He has given us. For us to grow, we need to trust our ability to make correct decisions. We need to do what we feel is right. In time, He will answer. He will not fail us” (Ensign, Nov. 1989, 30-31).

Think about the principles and lessons you have learned as you have persevered in prayer. Frankly, we have gone to the 1st base as far as Trillanes election to the Senate is concerned. So far so good. Ipagpatuloy natin!

Meet Adel Tamano’s secret (and best) promoter

    AS I WRECK THIS CHAIR
    By WILLIAM M. ESPOSO

    THE PHILIPPINE STAR

Opposition spokesman Adel Tamano has endeared himself to media and is now the subject of talk that he could be the topnotcher of the next senatorial elections. Tamano’s cool demeanor and his facility at expounding the Opposition’s position in a simple, concise and credible way make him a natural winner before the public eye.

Ironically, Tamano’s greatest unwitting image booster is his counterpart in the administration camp – Tonypet Albano. Albano provides the perfect contrast to create more attention to Tamano’s depth of thought, substance, style and projection. While Tamano complies with media guru Marshal McLuhan’s prescription for television style and form, Albano projects the example of the opposite.

I wonder what Sabit Swingson did to the AARM leader to merit the first spot on the senatorial ticket? Isn’t it that the Muslims can have four wives? I wonder if this was their common link. They may have compared notes on the fascination of having so many wives! Heh,heh, heh. Whatever works, I guess. But since the Maguindanao system of voting is not really the traditional way of voting, would this be considered as suppression of freedom? Wouldn’t this warrant a disqualification of the elections in these areas and have a supervised excercise instead, one that is not rigged wholesale?

I am seeing more groups of supporters camping outside the canvassing headquarters all throughout the country. The numbers are great but the bottom line is, if the computers are hacked and the influx of people in and out of these canvassing places can not be controlled, it is so easy to sneak in a copy or two of the certificate of canvass to replace the ones already in file. These can easily be hidden in bags and in men’s pockets. I am very concerned with the length of time of the canvassing. Imagine, for each day a thousand votes can be shaved from the canditates. If the canvassing takes a month, THAT IS A WHOPPING 3 MILLION VOTES!!!! This is where the smooth operators make their killing! THESE CHEATS NEVER GIVE UP, DON’T THEY? The senatorial candidates in the top six positions may not be touched but it will be in the lower six positions where these cheats are going to operate! What kind of security are employed in these canvassing places? Are the watchers counter watched? If prior to the elections the teachers were allowed to bring home the ballot boxes, are the canvassers allowed to bring home the certicates to their homes too? How about that watcher (a teacher) who got caught with 20 ballots in the pocket of her bag? How many of the canvassers have the capability to do foolish things for money, position and debt relief? I hope the opposition watchers will have more than two eyes. I hope that they look around for any suspicious activity amongst them. Little pieces of papers are easier to conceal. If the disputed boxes in the 2004 election were infiltrated and replaced by freshly prepared ballots, even under the camera surveillance and heavy guarding, what makes us think that our peoples’ vigilance outside the canvassing headquarters will guard our votes? The key is, the counting has to be shortened so the errosion of the votes will be prevented. More opposition watchers have to be deployed. Although this may not be possible now. Watchers who were not registered then, can not be registered now. It will be an impossible task. Well, I guess we will just have to depend on the sole powerful poll watcher, SOMEONE UP ABOVE. I do not mean the tiyanak! I mean our GOD! It is HIS WILL that will prevail! OUR COUNTY HAD BEEN AND CONTINUE TO BE RAVAGED BY LEADERS WHO JUST HAVE THEIR INTERESTS ON TOP OF THEIR LIST. Maybe this time around we need a break from this horrible vicious cycle. Let us pray that we will be guided by the Supreme and may He give us the miracle we need, to have selfless and deserving leaders to head us in the next generation to come. May the deserving candidates win!

  52. PSB: The numbers are great but the bottom line is, if the computers are hacked and the influx of people in and out of these canvassing places can not be controlled,
    ******

This is why I would not agree to an automaton of Philippine election especially when over in more efficient and less likely to be dirtied election in Japan, we do not use machines to count the votes, and computers are used only for the over-all counting of already double counted votes.

I was telling officials of the Philippine Embassy in fact of the simplicity of Japanese elections. We do not even have to waste time to go and register. The city and provincial offices know who live in their cities and provinces because of a very systematic registration system. The voters’ rooster is taken from the register for local residents, and they are properly notified with their tickets mailed to them two weeks before election day so they can plan out their schedule. The notice does not even contain names of the candidates running for position as they expect the voters to find out about them on their own initiative. If there are three persons required for the position for example of parliamentarian in the Upper House, we select only one out of a list of candidates posted in the polling booth, and the three first high scorers get the positions available. Counting is easy because there are only 500 voters per polling precinct, and the stabs are sorted according to the names of the candidates voted. None of the candidates can get near the people assigned to man the election, or they get arrested by the police who are likewise not allowed within 100m radius of the polling area but are alert about any violation of the Election Code of Japan.

That is why I find it amazing that Abaloslos is still there managing the election despite these reports of cheatings under his supervision. Dito iyan nadakip na iyan.

It is really unthinkable especially for me who has worked for the police in Japan as an interpreter what is happening in the Philippines now. Ang tapang ng mga apog, and when someone like Ralph Recto goes to Malacanang to consult the cheat, dito iyan katakot-takot na imbestigasyon na iyan.

Golly, hindi lang nakakahiya iyan, nakakasuka pa!

  53. Hopefully, the volunteers of Namfrel will not be in cahoot with Concepcion in trying to have the TUta gain edge against the GO candidates. Kapag pinayagan nila iyan e isa rin pala silang alagad ng dilim!

They should bear in mind that majority of the Filipino voters voted for 8-1-3 or 8-2-2 in favor of GO. If this is thwarted, humanda na si Pandak. Tignan lang natin kung sundin pa siya ng mga sundalong uutusan niyang pagpapatayin ang mga hahadlang sa kaniyang ambisyon.

  54. The executives of Namfrel like Eric Alvia, Edward Go are okay. I don’t doubt their integrity. But I have doubts about their volunteers. Since they are undermanned, they have been welcoming volunteers with minimal background check.

That’s where they are vulnerable to infiltration. The people in the headquarters are dependent on the data being fed by their researcher-volunteers.

I was talking with Eric Alvia last We4dnesday and i expressed many people’s concern why Cebu’s votes were almost complete while Metro Manila was only 6 per centr. He said their practice is first in, first one. What ever, comes, they post. Since Cebu votes came in first, they posted it and sure enough, the TU candidates went up the tally. Ttillanes went down to no. 11.

He said they themselves are impatient with the slowness of the arrival of votes from Luzon. That’s where I suspect they have been infiltrated.

  55. Unbelievable! Ellen, over here the media and the police cooperate especially in exposing this kind of anomalies. A lot many of the tips on this kind of cheating in fact come from the media, but then of course, you’re one of a kind in that forsaken land of our birth. Dapat diyan marami nang imbestigasyon ang nangyayari.

I hold on to my opinion that organizations like the Namfrel should not meddle in the election if they cannot be as reliable as we expect them to be. Sira na sila sa totoo lang especially when it was exposed as just another US agency for the US to continue meddling in Philippine affairs. That’s why they should try to regain the trust and confidence of everyone by not being part of the cheating machine. Otherwise, they’d better go home and pack their bags if they cannot be effective in preventing these massive cheatings.

You bet, kailangan mag-ingay ang taumbayan!

  56. Skip, check out Esposo’s column before May 14 elections.

    dear ellen,
this is the 4th attempt to submit

    sorry but within election topic:

SONIA ROCO’s watcher should check NAMFREL REPORT:

    May19 at 9:47pm Roco… 2,712,929
    May20 at 5:43am Roco… 2,441,772
    DIFFERENCE . . . . . . . 271,157
    PERCENT DECREASED . . . 10% AFTER A FEW HOURS

well, dealing with numbers I found isn’t
boring at all. more like this coming.

    Jay,
I did not reply to any of your posts. Read again. I do not also subscribe to your forecast. Our computers are linked with UNO and we already have our figures as early as Tuesday. What we don’t have are numbers from areas where GO/UNO doesn’t have candidates or those where the ERs where denied our watchers (e.g., Pasig City), this is where NAMFREL comes in.

    Jay Cynnikho,
Not meaning to intefere, but based on the notes I have, it was Pichay w/ 2,712,929 votes as of 9:47 a.m. on May 19 2007. Roco at this time (9:29 a.m. on May 19 2007) had 2,076,202..would like to know whether my notes are wrong as I am really monitoring this counting of votes-jut my way of being vigilant.

Thanks for the correction, I checked, it was not Defensor but Pichay who had the same Number of votes as Ms Roco. So the posting should read:

Is it magic that Roco and Pichay had the same exact number of votes in their May 19, 9:47pm tally, to wit: 2,712,929 votes.

    But I don’t have Roco’s figure on May 19 at 9:29 am.
I only rely on PDI’s NAMFREL running account.

God! I didn’t know how it happened. I am sorry I should have double-checked. My reply was meant for we-will-never-learn. I am sorry and offer no excuses for that mistake.
