When I got home late last night, my sister-in-law told me that my blog was mentioned in TV Patrol. It was in relation to this photo of Medy Poblador, presidential-legislative liaison officer.
Earlier, before 7 p.m, I got a text from Leah Navarro, one of the convenors of the Black and White Movement, saying, “Oh my God, ANC just used my photo of Medy Poblador.”
Much earlier, Lynda Jumilla of ABS-CBN called me saying that someone had told her that my blog has a photo of Medy Poblador. I told her, yes, the photo came from Leah Navarro. It was taken last year when the House of Representatives was deliberating on the impeachment complaint filed by a number of civil society groups, including Black and White.
In my earlier post, I did not identify Leah as the source of the photo (I just said ‘sent by a friend’) because I had not asked her permission. Now, she said I can say it was from her.
Lynda’s story is about the resumption of the “Hello Garci” hearings in the Senate. In the hearing last Sept. 7, former intelligence agent T/Sgt Vidal Doble said he met Poblador at the residence of then AFP Chief of Staff Efren Abu where he was brought by Bishop Socrates Villegas from San Carlos seminary.
Poblador offered to help him with the needs of his family.
Poblador was also mentioned by Bishop Villegas as the one who requested him to take Doble out of the San Carlos seminary.
Poblador has been invited to attend the Senate hearing on the Hello Garci tapes on Monday at 10 a.m. Will she attend?

In the Senate hearing of “Hello Garci”, Bong Revilla asked Doble how does Medy look and if he can recognize Medy once he sees her.
Pictures like this is important so that Doble and other people can know how she looks like.
I hope more pictures like this will crop up.
