Inungkat ang PEA-Amari deal, Landoil, Northrail at iba pa. Sabi nila kaya raw mababa ang tingin ng taumbayan sa House of Representatives dahil sa maga anomalya raw na kinsasangkutan ni JDV.

Kung ayaw ni Romy Neri dahil takot siya na mabulgar ang relasyon niya sa isang “Tom” na may sarili rin raw pinagkakitaan, ilabas nila ang mga text messages ni Arroyo na nag-order kay Neri na aprubahan ang kontrata na magsasadlak sa taumbayan sa bilyon-bilyon na utang.
Nai-save ni Neri ang mga mensahe na yan. Alam yan ni Joey de Venecia. Alam yan ni JDV. Hawak nila ang ebidensya. Ilabas nila.
Ang nangyayari kay JDV ay example sa iba pa na kasamahan ni Arroyo. Dapat tingnan ng mabuti ni Neri ang nangyayari ngayon kay JDV. Kung wala na silang pakinabang sa yo, itatapon ka na katulad ng ginagawa sa maduming basahan.

Joe de Venecia is caught between the devil and the deep blue sea. If he spills all and it’s shown that he had been an accessory to dupe voters, his goose is cooked too. Maybe that’s why he’s doing it piecemeal; he’s probably testing the waters, don’t know to what end.
In any case, I believe he will do the nation a great deal of good if he goes and spills all related to Hello Garci election cheating. That by far is the biggest sin this woman has committed against the nation in the latter years!
JDV might prove to be more dangerous and damaging to Malacanang than Chavit Singson; that is, if he really cooperates in revealing all what he knew about GMA’s sins. But knowing JDV being a politician above anything else, mahirap din magtiwala diyan. Bakit ngayon lang?

As I write, JDV has finally been ousted; and as expected, Nograles was his replacement. But what I found ironic was when JDV was the one who nominated Nograles as Speaker when the overwhelming votes of the motion to declare the seat vacant became in favor of Nograles. Tapos na ang political career ni JDV. He now can join the opposition. Comes 2010, JDV can run as Senator under the opposition ticket and lets his son Joey runs in Congress.
I may be wrong, but after all the noise, Gloria might win this one too! I don’t think JDV is ready to go to jail with his benefactor, the queen by the Pasig river. He will swallow his pride.

What’s next? The 4th impeachment complaint against Gloria Arroyo this year is highly possible. JDV and his Lakas Party loyalists may join the opposition. There are presently 30 opposition members in the House of Representatives. It needs about 80 votes for the impeachment case to prosper and forwarded for trial in the opposition dominated Senate. Gloria Arroyo expects a stormy political climate until her 2010 term ends.

JDV is not known for being a warrior. He is more of a peacemaker, usually going all out to build consensus, striking compromises favorable to all sides. A backdoor negotiator. And last night it was his backdoor that got screwed. Big time.
But take a final stand against Gloria? I don’t think so.
Whatever aces he has up his sleeves will be played by the next guy he passes it to. And the Arroyos are determined to punish him some more. And by hitting JDV, it would be impossible not to hurt the puppet-master on whose lap this dummy sits on. FVR will be a an unavoidable corollary target once the Pig of a family begins the all-out offensive.
But FVR and his boys are all prepared. Even he saw it coming ever since the ZTE investigations took center stage it would be foolish to assume they will all just take it sitting down. Carague has been in COA for the longest time, I guess, clearing all tracks FVR and company may have left behind in such deals as Fort Bonifacio sale, Napocor-IPP contracts, Centennial Expo, PEA-Amari, the numerous privatization deals, among many.
And there’s Edong Ermita who’s finally getting shorted by Puno very very soon, Ermita holds as much “state secrets” in his Malacañang closet than any one’s ever seen. You then have all these AFP generals who are indebted to Tabako and his subalterns. And many many other FVR boys still well-entrenched and for so long may have gathered enough artillery in their arsenal to see this war through.
FVR’s legacy, and the strings that hold all his puppets together – the Lakas party – will be dangerously threatened by Kampi’s freshly-sharpened scissors he can’t risk being jettisoned to oblivion. I don’t see any political future for the likes of Lakas stalwarts Bunye, Apostol, Alvarez, etc. unless, of course, they start shedding their chameleon scales and begin their exodus toward the new forest where the foliage is greener (or haven’t they, already?). Kampi will be the new Billionaire Boys’ Club.
Though I’m not convinced Lakas as a whole, or whatever remains of it, will confront the palace by the murky river head-on the way JDV did last night based on those may-I-explain-my-vote speeches, JDV die-hards are on a war path, their lips still bitter from the latest conspiracy. They have nothing more to lose – they have sacrificed their committee positions by professing “principled” loyalty for JDV – and settle the score by making life difficult for the traitors and their principals. This will make the coming days very exciting.
JDV may not be the most credible in his gang, but if you have more acceptable people confirming and substantiating his charges, maybe, just maybe, the moral revolution may indeed take off.

I was surprised to find another die-hard Republican among the members. Apparently, Dubya Bush has done more harm than good not just to America but to the Republican. Mitt Romney should distance himself from the Bushes if he wants to regain his good name. Too bad for him that he is running at a time when the Republican reputation is at its lowest ebb.
