They could have disappeared forever

Lawyer Argee Guevarra said the arrest of four members the staff of Sen. Antonio Trillanes IV by plainclothes men gives an idea how extra-judicial killings and involuntary disappearances happen.

Dominador Rull, Romel Solis, Chito Cariño and Jerry Delfin were about to board their vehicle on makati Avenue after attending the Interfaith rally in Makati last night when seven plainclothes men arrested them and forced them to board a van where two members of the Special Action Force, an elite anti-terror unit of the Philippine National Police were waiting for them.

The four were told that someone complained that they misrepresented themselves as policemen which the four vehemently denied. They were brought to the Southern Police district where
Southern Police District head Chief Supt. Luizo Ticman accused them of laying spikes. They were also accused of having Magdalo paraphernalia in their van.

When lawyers Rey Robles, Ernesto Francisco and Guevarra arrived, the complainant who said the four posed as policemen disappeared. Ticman couldn’t produce the spikes he was talking about. They also could not cite a law that prohibits Magdalo paraphernalia.

Reporters tried to interview the arresting officers but they hid from media. Francisco believes they were agents of the ISAFP (Intelligence Service of the Armed Forces of the Philippines).

After three hours in SPD, the four were released. No charges were filed.

Guevarra said they plan to file charges of illegal arrest and detention.

ABS-CBN online report:

Trillanes’s staff harassed after interfaith rally

Four members of the staff of detained neophyte Senator Antonio Trillanes IV were taken to the headquarters of the Southern Police District (SPD) by seven men in civilian clothing following the interfaith rally in Makati City.

The four were identified as Dominador Rull, Rommel Solis, Belenchito Cariño and Jerry Delfin. The four reportedly works at the office of Trillanes and was in Makati to attend the rally.

Rull and Solis were among the civilians who were “processed” by police after the filed November 29 Peninsula Manila hotel rebellion in Makati City.

Rull said they were loading their things inside a van when members of the Traffic Management Group (TMG) on board two vehicles stopped them for verification.

The TMG personnel checked their car registration and license and made them wait for 15 minutes.

Minutes later, seven men in civilian clothes arrived and told them that there was a complaint against them for posing as policemen.

One of the seven men said that they will only be invited to headquarters but they refused when they found out that they wanted to take them separately.

A team from the Special Weapons and Tactics unit even rode inside their van to the SPD headquarters while the seven men tagged along in convoy.

However, when they reached the headquarters the SWAT team and even the seven men in convoy suddenly disappeared.

Rull’s lawyer Ernesto Francisco believed that the men who harassed his client’s group were members of the Intelligence Service of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (ISAFP).

They were released since there was really no complaint filed against them. The incident, the report said was recorded in the police blotter. With a report from Jam Alindogan

PNP Ticman accused Sen. Trillanes’ staff of laying spikes and having Magdalo paraphernalia in their van.

Just by reading accounts of victims of police and miltary harassments, it’s really very very scary that you can feel a chill down your spine. What’s more about the victims? Extra-judicial killings have been the policy of this evil government and I can’t imagine their fears and thoughts at the very moment, thinking that maybe just like the other victims they will just dissappear into thin air and instead of seeing the faces of their loved ones on their last moments, are the ugly faces of their abductors.
Well the staff of Sen Trillanes are lucky. They are not yet destined to go. It’s not yet their time in God’s own time.

The arbitrary arrest of four Sen. Trilllanes staff is a planned harassment and intimidation by Gloria’s Gestapo. Why the members of the Traffic Management Group (TMG) need a SWAT team and seven men in civilian clothes to do the arrest? What’s their alleged crime? It’s very scary situation. The incident is a shade of a police state. Jonas Burgos was abducted by armed government men in a broad daylight and still missing.

This kind of harrassment should be stopped.

It’s about time these idiots realize that reign of terror is coming to end, and their tactics have become obsolete, oversused and rendered useless. Kung mag-succeed naman sila, they are committing murder and making themselves like the criminal they support, serve and pledge allegiance, too, for money!!! Bistado na sila. Nagmumukha lang silang mga mokong!

Puede ba mamili sila ng gagaguhin nila. Nakakasuya na e!

Nabanggit mo na rin lang si Jonas Burgos, meron article sa http://www.abs-cbn-news.com about documents that were voluntariy handed to Mrs. Edith Burgos by sympathetic man in uniform.

Part of it: Burgos and his wife Marian were mentioned in the “RECOMMENDED FOR DELETION IN THE OB [Order of Battle] 2nd QTR 07”.

The report also mentioned the aliases allegedly used by Burgos such as “Ramon/Raymond/Mon/Simon (TN: Jonas Burgos Y Tronqued) and the position “Prov’l Intel Dept of BPCOM-Head.”

The last column on the right side of the page had the remarks “neutralized”.

They could have disappeared…absolutely, if by chance that no witnesses like the media are present when these four civilians got apprehended, who knows what ill incident have already befell them. Headline…4 suspected carnappers killed in a shootout with TMG personnels! Knowing the notoriety of these TMG policedogs in peppering vehicles with hundreds of rounds while their occupants were still inside with their hands up on their heads. But such fate would be prefferable compared to just disappearing without a trace like so many of our countrymen. Such was already scripted for Jun Lozada when he returned from Hong Kong last month.

  10. Come to think of it. Reminds me of that movie “Dekada ’70.” It should be stopped by all means. Sabi nga nakalista na ang kanilang mga kasalanan and that is better than nothing.

Tama Na, Sobra Na, Patalsikin Na!

Subukan mong bigyan ng exam ang mga TFC o kaya Kapuso subscribers eh 99% perfect ito, bakit ka mo i will give you my personal life here.

I’m only working 5days a week, 9 hours a day with 1/2hour breaktime ok! Ang distance ng aming office from my house around 50kms, ang speed ng car ko going to work eh 110 to 130kms/hour and during our working hours paglabas namin ng work eh pwede pa kaming mashopping dahil tabi-tabi lang ang Malls o kaya supermarket.

Tuwing may rally then, it would be best to go in bigger groups. It would be a plus to have someone in the group with a video camera or a digital camera at all times. Try not to use any flash so hindi halata. It would also be a plus to have a lawyer in any group. It would also be a plus to have the names and phone numbers of people who can be called to expose any untoward actions against any of the demonstrators. This way, ang lahat ay documented talaga. The more this Evil Bitch want ot cling on to power, the more she will do anything to prevent the people from massing up! We have to be very vigilant talaga.

When you are a politically marked man, expect spectacular things to happen. They are wallowing with fundings to do their thing. But to stop or wire tap bank robbers, cell phone snatchers, boodle-boodle gangs, street criminals, NPAs, Abus, they seem to be tothless. Or they could be part of these problems.
