Noong Biyernes, namatay si Leopoldo Odulio, 60 na taong gulang, nang mabunggo sila ng army truck na may sakay na mga aso para sa security ni Gloria Arroyo sa Nueva Ecija.
Nakasakay si Odulio sa motorsiklo na menamaniho ni Ronel Tecson, na nasa ospital hanggang ngayon. Si Odulio at Tecson ay ahente ng mga appliances at motorsiklo at kung ano-ano pa para lang mabuhay.
Tatlong araw bago nangyari yun, nabundol naman ng sasakyan ng presidential security group sa Bayombong Nueva Viscaya ang isang tricyle at nabundol ang 19 taong gulang na si Lynnete Laoste. Bali raw ang kanyang balakang. Dinala raw ng helicopter si Laoeste sa AFP Medical Center sa Quezon City
Nangyari ang sakuna noong Biyernes nang si Arroyo ay pumunta saNueva Ecija para magpasinaya ng Cabiao bridge.
Tuwing may lakad kasi si Arroyo sa labas ng Malacañang katakot-takot na security ang kasama. Maliban sa kanyang convoy, may nakapwesto na kung saan siya pupunta bago siya dumating. May mga naka-uniporme, merong hindi. At may mga asong nahasa sa pagamoy ng bomba.
Ang truck na bumunggo kina Odulio at tecon ay may sakay ng mga aso. Nawalan daw ng preno.Kinasuhan ngayon ng recikless imprudence ang driver si Staff Sgt Joel Sumahit. Kawawa rin ito dahil hindi naman niya kasalanan na bumigay na ang lumang mga sasakyan ng Philippine Army.
Maalala natin na nuong isang buwan, bumagsak sa karagatan ang isa sa dalawang C-130 ng Philippine Air Force mula Davao papuntang Iloilo City. Siyam ang sakay ng C-130 sa pangunguna ng piloto na si Maj. Manuel Sambrano.
Galing Mindanao ang C-130 na yun para magdala ng mga sundalo at supplies sa mga sundalo doon na nakipag-giyera sa mga rebeldeng Muslim dahil sa hindi natuloy ang pirmahan ng MOA-AD (Memorandum of Agreement on Ancestral Domain) na magbibigay sana sa kanila ng malaking parte ng Mindanao.
Papunta ang C-130 sa Iloilo City para sunduin ang mga PSG na nag-secure kay Arroyo ng binisita niya ang namatay na si Lt. Col. Angel Benitez. Namatay si Benitez, kasama ang mga 30 pang mga sundalo at sibilyan, nang sinalakay nina Kumander Bravo ng MILF ang dalawang bayan sa Lanao del Norte. May kinalaman din ang MOA-AD dito.
Sabi nga ng marami, swerte pa rin ang mga PSG na bumagsak ang C-130 nang papunta pa lamang. Ngunit kawawa ang siyam at ang kanilang mga pamilya.
May anak si Odulio na 13 taong gulang na ngayon. Hindi ngayon alam ng kanyang asawa kung paano pa ito makapag-aral dahil sa hirap ng buhay.
Sobra-sobra na ang salot na dala ni Arroyo sa sambayanang Pilipino. Maliban sa mga nababangga ng kanyang presidential convoy o mga bumabagsak na eroplano, patuloy ang paghihirap ng taumbayan dahil sa garapalang nakawan sa kaban ng bayan.
A Military truck with PSG soldier driving had break problem? I can’t believe it. PSG personnel are among the best trained. Presidential Security vehicles including trucks are inspected regularly. How could there be some mechanical problem? It’s just an excuse to avoid prosecution. I bet you the driver won’t be charged and jailed. For GMA, the dogs’ lives are more important than Filipinos’ lives. Next time the Military truck has an accident, why not run over the Evil Bitch?

cabiao is part of nueva ecija but a lot of people from this town are kapampangans. i hope the kapampangans will soon disown the arroyos. in fact some of the people i knew to be kapampangans around here now say they are not as a way of disowning gma. this is the difference between the kapampangans and the ilocanos who were loyal to the marcoses even at the height his unpopularity.
i have a nephew who was a pilot 10 years ago after graduating at the pma. after a year he resigned after flying some of the planes. he followed his family in the usa where he worked as a janitor but was able to study to become a nurse which is his profession today.
as i have said before, i am not a lawyer, but the driver of the vehicle in cabiao must be liable if he is a private person. being in the military could be that the officer who ordered him to drive may be held responsible, but in the end, politically at least gma is responsible.

Everything is going wrong in this country because a certain plague named Gloria is out of control, causing havoc and it seems nobody can stop it. When bad things continue to happen, the natural reaction is to change the course. How to do it however is easier said than done.
The curse had been with the country ever since Gloria forced her way into the presidency. What happened at EDSA 2 was not people’s will or God’s will. It was the will of traitors, schemers, plotters and evil minded people because of greed and lust for power. It’s been said very often that the voice of majority is the voice of God. Joseph Estrada was elected with the biggest margin in any Philippine election and if we follow the saying, his election was not only the will of the majority but the will of God. And when the traitors and schemers ousted him from his rightful seat, they violated not only the people but also God.
Came Election 2004, we know what happened then.
Gloria is by far the worst and most corrupt president the country ever had and that’s why we consider her the plague. The irony of it all is that while the guardians of morality, righteousness, justice and honesty do nothing to stop and kick her out, they did it to Erap who by now we know as the lesser evil between the two. That is not fair play and the people’s and God’s will were violated.
Now, what I am driving at is the plague that is Gloria has been implanted by God himself in the midst of the people because they allowed His will to be violated and they failed to rectify by their failure to act. People only deserve what they get as a result of their actions. And if they lose sight and be complacent again, the possibility that this plague will continue to reign on the country is not a remote possibility and may last until thy kingdom come. God forbids.
