Ang rally bukas ay para ipa-alam kay Gloria Arroyo at sa kanyang mga alagad na ayaw ng taumbayan na amyendahan ang Constitution para lamang panatili sila sa kapangyarihan lampas ng kanilang termino sa 2010.
Simula lang ito. Habang pinagpipilitan nila ang pambabastos ng bayan, titindi pa ang kilos protesta.
Nangyari itong rally dahil pagkatapos ng pang-apat na impeachment na ibinasura ng kanyang mga alagad sa House of Representatives, nang bumalik dito si dating Agriculture Secretary Jocelyn “Joc-joc” Bolante na panay naman pagtatakip kay Gloria Arroyo ang ginawa, pagkatapos ng napakaraming pambabastos ng batas, marami ang nagtatanong, hanggang kailan pa ba ito?
Kahit sa mga inis kay Arroyo, magkakaiba ang sagot. Meron mga nagsasabi na kailangan sipain na si Arroyo ngayon. Ayaw maghintay sa 2010. Ngayon.
Kasama ako diyan sa gustong patalsikin si Arroyo kaagad-agad dahil hindi naman siya binoto ng taumbayan sa pwesto na yan.Kinuha ni Arroyo ang kapangyarihan pamagitan ng pandaraya- isang krimen sa ating batas. Bawa’t araw na kumakapit siya sa pwesto ng pagka-pangulo ay pambabastos ng sambayanang Pilipino mas maaga siya mapatalsik, mas maaga natin masi-ayos ang gulo na ginawa niya sa bayan.
Kung hihintay pa tayo ng 2010, marami pang krimen ang gagawin ni Arroyo para lamang ma-prutektahan ang sarili niya.
Ngunit meron din na nagbulag-bulagan, nagbingi-bingian sa mga krimen ni Arroyo dahil hindi naman sila datin apektado.Nakinabang pa nga sila e. Ang siang magadang ehemplo ay ang simbahang Ktoliko at si Mike Velarde ng El Shaddai.
Akala nila kasi pagbigay nila si Arroyo sa kanyang pandaraya sa eleksyon, okay lang inalagaan din sila.
Kaya lang, kapag gumawa ka kasi ng krimen, hindi naman yan one time lang. Siyempre, kailangan alagaaan mo ang mga kasabwat mo sa krimen. Paano mo gagawin yun. Di gagawa ka ng iba pang krimen para mabusog mo ang panga-ngailangan niyan. Kaya nangyari yang fertilizer scam ang NBN/ZTE dahil kaialngan magbayad ng utang si Arroyo sa kasabwat niya sa pandaraya at pagnanakaw sa taumbayan.
Paano na lang yun sa 2010, kapag bumaba na raw sa pwesto si Arroyo?
Siyempre hindi pwedeng bumaba. Kailangan forever sila sa kapangyarihan. Kaya kailangan charter change.
Ang problema lang, kapag charter change na magiging parliamentary form of government (magiging prime minister si Arroyo) mababawasa ang impluwensya ni Mike Velarde. Ganun na rin ng Iglesia ni Kristo. Kaya nagbabanta sila ngayon.
Inaasahan na kung hindi mapilit ng mga alagad ni Arroyo ang charter change bago matapos ang taon, sa Enero talaga ang aksyon.

ANother question thay they ask is??? what good will it do to them??? when marcos was removed from office in 86 they were promised of good life after the 1st EDSA. In 2001, the same was promised to them. But until now, they are still languishing, hardly enough food to feed their families, no livelihood, etc, etc….
So how can we encouraged these marginalized Pinoys to join the rally, if we can not even guarantee anything to them???

Rallies, to borrow a favorite line of the puppies of the evil bitch is a numbers game. The more participants, the better. But it should not only about quantity but quality of the organizers, leaders and speakers, people who will be able to connect, to leave an impression and impact on the audience and a pause to the object of the action.
The outcome of tomorrow’s anti cha cha rally may serve as a gauge of some things to come.
If success comes tomorrow the momentum should be maintained. It should be a no let-up affair. The hard part is to sustain and maintain a non-stop action. It’s not easy to convince people to always provide the crowd. That will be a problem.
Filipinos who are out of the country can only watch helplessly and pray for the success of the rally. We may not be out there physically, but surely our best wishes and prayers are for all participants and for the country that we may finally get rid of the evils in Malacanang. And of course we have some proxies who will stand in for us.

So far, ang pinaka consistently masigasig among our leaders mag call for the head of Gloria against the heat, water cannons, police brutality and against arrests is former Vice President Teofisto Guingona. He has been showing his support to our soldiers who have been captured by the enemy for resisting the GMA puppet government of the Americans and the Chinese.
He also tried to prevent the Americans from continuously conducting terrain familiarization, military exercises and preparation for military base establishment here.
These exercises only benefited the Americans getting more familiar with our terrain and winning the hearts and minds of our Muslim brothers. This is supposed to be the job of the Filipino soldiers among us.
As to the former VP, the rallies he has been joining are for the head of GMA and not just for the head of ChaCha. This brings me to this issue of rallies against ChaCha. Are we really after the head of Gloria or just the ChaCha. Suppose the ChaCha moves is shelved by GMA say tomorrow. Does that mean we have triumphed over evil already?
I am for the rally tommorow. But I hope this issue of GMA legitimacy and foreign collaboration is also settled at the right time not at the time too late. I hope we focus on the body and not the tail.
I’ve the feeling Malacanang would counter with her own paid pro-Cha Cha supporters. Lately, Malacanang has been sending pro-government rallyists. When asked what they were there for by the media, many could not give an answer. The report is that these people are being paid P500 each. It might happen Friday and on future rallies.

Not very good, but somehow better news from our side here..The Liberal Party just booted out their Leader Stephan Dion and forego their Leadership contest and instead acclaimed Harvard Professor and MP Michael Ignatieff as their New Leader ( the other two aspirants gave up their fight)and the two Leaders are talking and MAY co-operate to bring down a budget resumption of Parliament in Jan.27 that all can agree or if they agree to disagree then a change of Government or an Election, somehow it is going to be resolved one way or the other, peacefully and democratically.

That was good news from the Canadian side. Unfortunately in our motherland, Gloria won’t settle frictions “peacefully and democratically” because she gonna lose.

I never liked this Dion, Vic. For one thing, I didn’t like his English. He looked like a Paris clown. No matter how serious the political crisis, Canada knew how to settle it peacefully. Canada is rated as among the least corrupt nations in the world. Quite different from the US where lots of politicians were charged with corruption lately. Senate seat for sale? We have lots of that in the Philippines. Many government positions are for sale. Once, I came across a report that there were mid-level and upper-level positions at BOC for sale. An investigation was called but nothing happened. I won’t be surprised if even the judiciary is for sale. But more than being for sale, positions are given by Malacanang who expect the appointees to return the favors. That’s no different from position for sale. Malacanang pays for the position.
This evil administration spent over P36 billion in 2007, well above the sum approved by Congress for that year. This amount excludes funds they were not able to release in agency budgets including those transferred to over-all savings. That was last year. What about this year which is about to end?
Di na oobra ang mga peaceful-peaceful rallies at prayers. Show guts like those at the Thai airports, the Greece students or the Mumbai factor. That should do the trick. Imagine both sides pray to the same god and that god thinks badly of the oppositions always. Di niya yata kilala ang mga CBCP. And we sing the same tune “…alab ng puso, sa dibdib mo ay buhay lupang hinirang, duyan ka ng magiting sa manlulupig, di ka pasisiil…” but they have more gun bores and prodigious numbers everywhere..
Weather seems to be uncooperative at anti-Cha Cha rally. Malacanang could have sprayed chemicals at the above clouds to make the weather bad.
I pray that mamayang gabi matapos na ang ulo ni Gloria..ay nagkamali ako ang ibig kong sabihin ay matapos na ang gulo ni Gloria pero puede na rin silent “g” hindi ba? Sana gigisingin ako ng magandang balita na tapos na ang boksing at hindi lang si Pacquiao ang “hero” but ang lahat na sasama sa rally…GO!
