Must be bi-polar – body language ang facial expression don’t match.

  2. Ellen,

Is that the challenge of Gloria? Game of suntukan with her?

Well, I accept to have a personal suntukan with her (mano a mano) but on the condition that if I beat her to a pulp, she’ll allow herself to be hanged by her toes from the highest lamp post in the Philippines. If she beats me, I’ll serve in her government (so that I can punch her again and again).

Problem is you can’t trust this moral pygmy. She doesn’t have a word of honor. She will say she accepts the terms but will renege on her word the way she spits at palabra de honor like it’s nganga in her mouth (yuck). So, with all the best will in the world, there’s not much one can do to answer her challenge of a personal suntukan with her.

  3. npongco npongco

It pays to be a killer…

The public praise of Maj. Gen. Jovito Palparan was a low point in the Sona. It’s certainly an official endorsement of anything and everything that Palparan, the “butcher,” has been doing from Mindoro to Pampanga. The record at present of 705 extra-judicial killings and 200 unexplained abductions will zoom up. More Palparans will come up.

The Sona was interrupted by applause 173 times. Unbelievable. Clearly as one listened to the applause after almost every half sentence, it was orchestrated and exaggerated.

That’s how stupid the President’s aides can be. They can’t even instruct their cheerleaders on the proper spots they should applaud so that it becomes believable.

  4. npongco npongco

The only credit I can give to Gloria as shown in the photo challenging her enemies into a fight is that she was “smiling”. What a very good director in the person of Lupita Cashiwara.

  5. alitaptap alitaptap

Bansot is smiling, in derision, at her audience. So okay …
IN THIS CORNER the feisty tongue of Europe… Aaannaahh
IN THIS CORNER … the forked tongue of the philippines … baannssooott… place your bet gentlemen and ladies… place your bets.

  6. artsee artsee

  7. Why do I have the feeling that gloria’s gestures and pictures are staged? Fake by all standards!

The image she projects to the public isn’t gloria at all…..parang masyadong put-up and fake to the nth!

People around her must all be in hell!

  8. Diego K. Guerrero Diego K. Guerrero

GMA facial expression reveals she is joking or lying.

  9. npongco npongco

That’s right, Diego. In fact, Erap is now complaining that the beautiful projects GMA was bragging in her SONA were actually Erap’s projects.

Gloria’s fighting and aggressive mood could have been influenced by the ongoing Lebanon crisis. Let’s discuss the subject for a change:

For weeks now, Israel was bombing areas in Lebanon close to her border excluding Beirut, Lebanon’s capital. When US State Sec. Rice landed in Beirut, it was noted that Israel’s bombs were fewer. Beirut was surrounded by US Secret Service to secure Rice’s visit. Today, even Beirut is now bombed by Israel; incidentally one day after Rice left the city. Folks, you now judge for yourself who’s the aggressor and vilain between Israel and Hebollah? Interviewed by foreign media, young children of Lebanon as young as five years old talked negatively about Israel. One child asked why Israel has to bomb them and his family (his father died). These kids’ hatred shall remain until they grow up. These are the future Hebollah and militants. If Israel and US think they could eliminate their enemies by such aggression unmindful of civilian lives, America will continue to be hated by the world even decades from now.

  10. pandawan pandawan

It was a good speech as good political speeches go, but it was not as she promised at the outset. She said she will not touch “pulitika” but went on to deliver a “kampanya”. She promised to deliver a State of the what the nation is today, but instead delivered a powerpoint presentation of what she promised the country will be 20 years from now. But yet, the problem is what she has done to the Philippines and what it has become with her as President. We must take care of this before we can even think about an Enchanted Kingdom that exists only in dreams.

You are right Ellen, it is time for a reality check. She thinks she is a good President and that she has done well by the people and is offering “Federalism” as a panacea for all the ills of our country today. WE say she is wrong and that she has brought our country to the brink. Ermita, Gonzales, Defensor, Bunye are backing her up together with Esperon who is boasting of a UNIFIED MILITARY. Erap, Lim, Magdalos, and implicated soldiers are all in PRISON in Tanay and the opposition are temporarily stumped.

A majority of the people wants Gloria out and they are up against the cheering squad of Gloria composed of her majority Congressmen and Mayors & Governors. Oh how they cheered her SONA, oblivious of the fact that THEY are glossing over what we have to do about our ONE PROBLEM – GLORIA MACAPAGAL ARROYO.

  11. alitaptap alitaptap

Change the subject??!! Question directed to those nagpapanggap na tupa samantalang nakalabas ang buntot at sungay.

  12. Gloria’s stance is boost by the support she gets from her BUTCHERs…..

    RE: gloria’s smiles…..parang hindi bagay….
parang hindi tunay/totoo:::::> not coming from the heart. …baka kasi walang heart siya anoh?
Everything that gloria exudes is fake, fake, fake!

  13. npongco npongco

alitaptap, I resent your comment. You’ve once been rude to me and I don’t want to let you go away this time. What was wrong to change the subject for a while and mentioned the Lebanon crisis? It didn’t mean I changed my position against GMA. Grow up my friend! Be like what others do in this group by sticking to issues. Ellen, please remind this lost sheep. I hope to see more intelligent discussion here…

Speaking of Lebanon, Amb. Bichara is complaining that Gloria has not sent the money promised to them…something like P 500,000. The Phil. Embassy in Lebanon is currently without budget. What is left is mere $5,000 not even enough for their operational expenses.

  14. vonjovi1 vonjovi1

  15. florry florry

Something odd and out of the ordinary about the picture. Notice the clenched fist of a supposed to be angry and serious speaker stressing a point but out of sync with her facial expression. Saan ka nga ba makakakita ng tao na supposed to be galit, naghahamon at nakatikom ang kamao but at the same time her grin is from ear to ear. Only Gloria can do that and the picture shows it all. The Evil personified.

  16. goldenlion goldenlion

Pangit!!! What an expression?!! Nakangiti, naghahamon sa kalaban. It only shows the true colors of lying, stealing and cheating. Is this the president we would the world to see for us Filipinos??? Yuck!!! Her words cannot be trusted, her face will never be an inspiration, and her gestures are all fake.

Wow!! As if the name gloria is copyrighted by her.

May I request all bloggers here to inform your friends abroad (US) about joc joc’s escapades. I have started writing my friends there to make petition or request to the government of uncle sam to deny bolante of political asylum since he is not politically prosecuted here.

  17. alitaptap alitaptap

I did not name names. If the shoe fits, wear it … by all means. Let’s carry on this discourse, intelligent or assinine, according to your light. Pretenders on this forum, like the pretender in the ‘palace by the murky river’ (by Yuko) are very transparent unbeknownst to themselves. They fulminate righteous indignation against bansot, but their posturings are not too bright.
Now, back to bansot … heaping praises on Palparan is very consistent. If and when Palparan is found guilty, there is no death penalty anyway, so what the heck. Murders and muderers go on the rampage … there is no death penalty anyway, so what the heck.

  18. Dominique Dominique

When I first heard about the change of the typhoon’s name from “Gloria” to “Glenda” because it coincided with her delivery of Sona, i thought it was a joke. Totoo pala.

Even the typhoon’s name is fake. Walang patawad. She is really hopeless.

  19. alitaptap alitaptap

That is what they are in power for, according to a former vice president. They are so vain, they would control everybody, even the weather, if they can.

  20. Dominique Dominique

Neal Cruz of Philippine Daily Inquirer said he was waiting for GMA’s nose to grow like Pinnochio while she was delivering her Sona.

I think she has reached a point where she believes her own lies.

  21. zenzennai zenzennai

    peace guys!

npongco, with all due respect, maybe its not necessary for ms ellen ‘para gumitna’.

alitaptap, i think sir, you have taken the gentleman’s comment out of context. nowhere in the post above, na may intensyon ilayo ang usapan; meron itong kinalaman sa pagyayabang ng pekeng Pangulo na kesyo may pauwi ng 300~500 kababayan, samantala tens of thousands ang stranded at walang means neither of communication and connection to safety and safely stay away from the fray. i hope that settles your ‘issue’ with the other party.

let us now get back to those keyboards and post them fiery and informative thoughts!

  22. myrna myrna

  23. The best description is: “Sino ba ang tinakot mo, Bansot?”

Whoever wrote her speech must be sick in the head, for I have never heard real great people utter such stupid things as “For those who want to pick old fights, we’re game.”

Just what old fights is she talking about? Her stealing or that of her father’s? Whichever, it is nothing old but rather becoming as fantastically evil as those glitz complete with such visual visions like that movie starring Denzel Washington and Russel Crowe to cover up lots and lots of lies while the majority of Filipinos are struggling to live like human beings with this regime making them more as commodities for export than as individuals and/or dignified human beings, who do not deserve to be treated like some scums of the earth!!!

This woman is trying to show her bravado, but she looks more like some lunatic trying hard to look normal!! How pathetic!!!

  24. npongco npongco

Thanks zenzennai. What’s wrong with this alitaptap? An appeal was already made for him to stop making side comments and yet he again mentioned about pretenders. I really don’t know what he meant. He could have been so frustrated with the current events that he’s now looking for someone to punch. Not me please. I don’t wanna start a word war.

Many doubted GMA’s sincerity at SONA and all the time she’s in public. Body language tells it all.

  25. Spartan Spartan

I too is one of maybe millions that did not bother to watch the “goin’ bulilit like” gloria in her SONA. But seeing and analysing gloria’s picture above…and if indeed this was her “acting” when she said… “For those who want to pick old fights, we’re game.” Kasi, her “dialogue” base on her script would have been like this…

SEQ: SONA ni PANDAK LOC: BATASAN PAMBANSA DAY/INTERIOR
As CAM ZOOM-IN, GLORIA with closed right hand fist would “strongly” and “angrily” says.
Pandak: …for those who want to pick old fights, we’re
    game!
    CUT TO…audience applauding…

kaso, supposed to be “galit” siya dahil “away” ang hanap eh…pero “nakatawa”, or “nakangisi”(parang aso talaga)…kaya ayun, dapat take two…galit si direk…hehehe.

Nahh…seriously now, the picture just shows the lousy “acting” of gloria or the “multiple personality disorder” that she got. Galit pero nakatawa…BALIW!!!

Ms. Ellen, this is an off-topic regarding the Michael ray aquino:

If I remember it correctly, wasn’t it mentioned that the documents gathered by aquino involves a vice president to unseat the seating president??? who is that vice president mentioned??? It sure is not erap, during his vice presidency. There are only two names that I could think of: 1) tito guingona, who openly calls for the resignation of Gloria and 2) Gloria herself, who after the force removal from office of erap, admittedly, in public that she talked to the generals. Please correct me if I’m wrong ms. Ellen. Thanks.

Going to the topic, isn’t ironic that her defender, the boy wonder said months ago, that they should stop this childish attack on each of them??? Tsk, tsk, tsk….. funny, her boss, the leprechaun of the enchanted kingdom is doing this childish attack on the opposition. We are more than willing to cooperate with her, as long as she can prove that she won the election fair and square by facing the impeachment process and telling the joke to clean their name regarding the fertilizer funds. Unless this problem/s that we encounter right now is not resolve, then it’s useless for her call to support her program.

On her pet projects for the mega-super regions, she claims “may pondo na tayo” para sa kanyang mga proyekto, yet some senators and other TONGressmen are asking where are we going to get the money??? Even her budget secretary is asking this question, this is an undaunted project/s, but where are we going to get the money??? She said the Chinese are willing to invest billions of USdollars, what will happen to this money, as long as the vultures in the house of representaTHIEVES are prying their eyes on the carcass/es, the money will just go to waste, and JUAN DE LA CRUZ will suffer again.

    jinx

  27. You bet, Alitaptap, the Malacanang Squatter, is easy to spot like the people around her. But then, maybe, you will have to have a special Urim and Thummim I guess to know which is which as when Christ has warned us of the coming of the wolves in sheep’s clothings, trying to look like angels, but look at the irony of even the choice of the Bansot’s attire. Flaming color of the devil in hell!

And look at the illusion of grandeur of this lunatic! Someone must have told her that she would look better with a Rizal hairdo in her saya!!! Trying hard to be a national hero? You bet, she is!

I don’t know why Filipinos would think it a desecration to be calling this crook all kinds of derogatory names when she has even apologized, though insincerely and taking it back, for committing something that even in Philippine law is considered a crime. A criminal does not deserve any consideration except perhaps the opportunity to find retribution for his crime or he does not get a free passage except to hell.

Surely, this creep does not even understand her own religion that she would think of herself as special and truly blessed just because she has managed to continue where she is still presently, not really because God wants her there but she is making it easier for God to bless those who really seeks for the truth and right, and eventually destroy these people who are trying to thwart His plan to bring to pass the immortality of men!!!

What this nincompoop is doing in fact is cutting off the opportunity of those who can do good for their fellowmen and prove their worth to go back to the Kingdom of God although God in His Infinite Wisdom will judge these victims of these military killings and atrocities ordered by the Bansot better than how they have been misjudged by their fellow creatures here on earth. For every shedding of innocent blood in fact, there is a heavy punishment awaiting these crooks in hell.

You bet, what I see in this picture is woman oozing in ignorance puffed up by her pride and conceits, but as the Scriptures say, “Because he hath despised the word of the LORD, and hath broken his commandment, that soul shall utterly be cut off; his iniquity shall be upon him.” (Number 15:31).

The ignorance of this Bansot and her minions of the ways of God will not save them as a matter of fact as when God says, “No one is saved by ignorance.” Let me remind you again of these verses in Romans:

Now I would not have you ignorant, brethren, that oftentimes I purposed to come unto you, (but was let hitherto,) that I might have some fruit among you also, even as among other Gentiles. (Rom. 1: 13)

For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. (Rom. 10: 3

For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. (Rom. 11: 25)

  28. Spartan Spartan

“OLD FIGHTS”…what does she meant by this? was she referring to her 2004 election fraud and the “resulting fights” that she entered into because of her “cheating”? was it about “the fights” her slave TONGressman did to kill the 1st Impeachment Proceeding last year? was it “the fights” that involve covering for two government “robots” of her called Garci and Jocjoc, who both did what “evil jobs” their were tasked on doing by their “master”, or was it the “old fights” concerning her abuse of power and blatant “twisting of the law” on her favor, like the CPR and PD1017?….not mentioned here are the other “fights” both “old and new” that she already engaged with, that if ones the “brawl” starts…”toughy” gloria would surely be “BLACK and BLUE” from all the “beatings” that she would get.

It is not conducive to unleash “them fiery and informative thoughts” when you get distracted by the BB (bansot brigade).
Let’s see her walk her fist..

Speaking of the Aquino case, the Malacanang Squatters are jumping like monkies thinking that Aquino’s confession will benefit most of all the wannabe criminal who cannot be caught right now because she has made sure she has people in the agencies responsible for catching criminals to head them and do her bidding.

They should beware because the table may be turned on them with all the kind of cards that you have presented above. As they say in Tagalog, “May araw rin sila” lalo na itong bansot na utak bata pa yata!

Ellen, your point is well taken. No personalan, gloriahan na lang. Ano…? bansot said ‘line them up, the thieves, corrupters, grafters’? That’s the mother of all lies. Her speechwriter should have realized that to make the statement true, they will need the great wall of china to line them up.

  34. soleil soleil

napakasakiiiitttt ate Ellen,….wat do we do to kick this bruha in the EK????? while we puke out all our anger in this blog…they are still wining and dining at nagpapakasasa sa pera ng taumbayan….kesyo mga calamity funds ay alloted to this calamity area ek-ek…but look at the situations of the evacuation centers???..whether wat we see in the news are true or not or what we hear are true or not…kawawa parin ang mga walang ma-afford to buy atleast few cans of sardines and kilos of rice to feed their 3-6 children!!!!…all this is a vicious cycle as i say it again and again…frm the EK to the LGU…puro pabeautification project but ang mga burak winalis lang sa ilalim at tinabunan ng aspaltong low grade, kaya konting kalabog or crack sira…sira lahat ng mga pangako na puro kabulukan at kasakiman….GRRRRRR….if only i can afford a missile from hezbollah or israel to target the bruha and her minions, i will volunteer!!!!!!!

  35. But don’t you notice that despite all her bravado, she has no peace of mind. Security in last Tuesday’s SONA was so tight. She is afraid of her own people. She can have all the applause she wants from her paid hacks but she is afraid to go out in the streets. She will be lynched.

…sori..i miss some words…”to kick-out frm the EK”…and out to hell where she and her kawatan belong!!!!
all she does ay akuin ang mga project na sinimulan ng ibang administrasyon….ur very ryt Yuko….kahit si erap may kapalpakan at pagka-engot in a way, he was never this gahaman…the diff i guess, si erap sinusulsulan, si bruha ay namimilit…takutan kung baga – “magbibigay ka o hindi, kc pagka hindi, sa pansitan din ang bagsak…ikaw pa nag kakasuhan ng corruption!!!!” i know of many foreign investors backing away kasi di kaya ang hinihinging “donation” ng bruha and his consorts. pero ang lakas ng apog nya, she keeps on repeating about the money or loan frm Japan(?, di ko sure somthing like that, kasi di ako serious sa pakikinig ng “suka” nya) siguro par ginagawa nyang force to good ang Japan Ministry na alam nyang nakikinig….halos kulang nalang banggitin lahat ng pangalan ng every country that she can name that will help the Phil…why didnt she mention Spain, or those that she just visited??? just asking….ummmmmm???

  39. Soleil,

My husband has informed me that Japanese companies are actually shunning away from the Philippines because of the 20% padded bills on Japanese donations and loans that I think is part of the secret deals the Pandak has been inking with China. Hindi lang makahirit ang hapon because of the Japan bashing in China that might spread elsewhere. Kaya hinay-hinay lang ang Hapon.

Now, the Foreign Minister is more I guess interested in the offer of haven for the US bases being removed from Okinawa, etc. and our government is willing enough to shoulder the expenses because it is the will of the people to have these military installations removed. There was a plebescite and the people voted against the bases.

It has nothing to do with whether or not Japan or the Japanese people approves of the Bansot. And that is the difference of the kind of leadership, and citizenry we have here from what the Filipinos have been trained to accept at right all these years of bondage even of Filipinos by their own compatriots who call themselves “chosen of God”!

Ang laking kahangalan talaga! Basta tayo dito, tuloy ang laban!!! It is not an old fight. It is an lingering fight as a matter of fact, and it cannot be old.

kaya nga nakaka hina ng loob yuko…seeing countries like japan, singapore, taiwan even thailand…their people first than the officials…talsik kung talksik…may delikadesa lahat…hindi takot mawala sa pwesto…while here, everyone is grabbing for the power pati mga spouses nakiki sawsaw to the max!!!! mga pu—t- talaga lahat….i am so tempted to get a kbb just to have them ambush these swines…for 5k they will gladly eliminate someone no questions ask and walang personalan, trabaho lang…i am sooooooo tempted na talaga…but takot lang ako sa karma yuko…kasi i love my kids so much…i dont want thwm to suffer my bad acts in this lifetime…just for a bs fake leader…

  42. Soleil,

I know the one in Cebu used up even some donated fund supposedly for the Department of Education!!!

  44. Soleil:

Have more faith! Madali makapagpahina ng loob ang intimidation ng mga galamay ng kasamaan, but God is there, tandaan mo!

Iyong experience namin sa mga properties dito sa Japan of how God does things for us on a silver platter is something that I don’t forget to be grateful for and give me incentives to go on kahit na sabi nga ni Spartan, “ang punong punung-puno ng bunga ay siyang napupukol”! Sabi nga ng Diyos, “To me belongeth vengeance, and recompence; their foot shall slide in due time: for the day of their calamity is at hand, and the things that shall come upon them make haste.” (Deut. 32:35) or “If I whet my glittering sword, and mine hand take hold on judgment; I will render vengeance to mine enemies, and will reward them that hate me.” (Deut. 32: 41) and “For the day of vengeance is in mine heart, and the year of my redeemed is come.” (Isa. 63: 4).

In short, dear Soleil, kunting panahon na lang. Ang kailangan ay kailangan kasing karapat-dapat ang mga pilipino or they end up again like what has happened now!!!

  45. Balik tayo sa litrato ni goria:

As of this writing, I heard that Ambassador Bichara is in hot water. I don’t know if this Bichara is related to one Governor Bichara of Bicol.

As for Michael Ray Aquino’s guilty plea, I think it was the right legal move. He pleaded guilty in receiving the information from Argoncillo; but he made it clear he has no knowledge about the espionage thing. We see a long legal battle of this case. But, that’s not of our concern. We’re concerned more about Bolante’s case. What’s up with his case?

  48. npongco npongco

Evidence that the accomplishments are so mundane and a pittance compared to what the citizenry pays for that the great PR effort needed additional bells and whistles.

Insults aside, the bells and whistles added to the special effects and nothing more.

The SONA is half-baked and the applause show that the audience was pre-programmed to applaud. Though the SONA admittedly presented grand ideas befitting a SONA it is absolutely silent on how we are to turn those dreams into reality. It does not outline the source of the funding required to realize those dreams. It does not outline the appropriations legislation needed nor the source of the
    funds to meet the appropriations.

  50. Alitaptap,

If there is no DAYAAN, I’m pretty sure I can pummel Gloria in a boxing ring with one hand!

  51. Anna,

You can stomp her to the ground with both hands tied behind your back.

    Soleil,

Maggots na lang, or beter yet, tics.

    Ellen,

Another great coup, a picture sure paints not a thousand but millions of harsh words.

To my “barkadas”, iniwan niyo na naman ako. I’ve been trying to access Ellen all day. Hell, I can’t even access my site until this afternoon. I’m glad to see you all here.

  52. Anna:

It’s been so long since I used my French. Come and join our forum on Aug. 23.

Ano ba iyan! 🙁

  54. npongco npongco

So, this blog is composed of old timers…like some kind of barcada thing. However, I hope no one and no group should claim monopoly of what topic or issue to discuss even if sometimes it appears to favor GMA. Let’s not wave the flag as if to show that this blog is exclusively an anti-Arroyo group and anyone who opposes this group’s views is persecuted…making him an outcast. I’m sure when Ellen came out with this blog, that was not in her mind.

Too much passion sometimes makes us forget that discussion group is all about issues. In view thereof, there’s no need to gang up on anyone and conspire to put another one down even if that person is a former member. For if this continues, we’re no different from this woman in Malacanang whom we hate and attack.

  55. Yuko!

    Your French is great!

Just a bit of correction: we say ” A BAS LES OPPRESEURS!” (Down to the Oppresors!”)

  56. nelbar nelbar

Re Jefferson Chiong’s message to Anna:

Jeff, ipinapakita mo nga na estranghero ka sa sarili mong bansa!

Re GMA’s message: “For those who want to pick old fights, we’re game.”

  57. Npongco,

I agree with you that too much passion sometimes makes us forget the issues raised in the blog.

However, I believe that for as long as there is no insultuhan, passion should be allowed, even a lot of it. Without passion, we cannot beat the demon who is wreaking havoc with her Legion in the Philippines.

In other words, I believe, that a revolution can only be possible if people very passionately believe it can be done.

  58. npongco,

Barkada means a group composed of different people, from different walks of life, with different views and different ideals. Barkada is friendship and family rolled into one. Old timers, maybe. But to claim monopoly on something which we don’t own, that’s absurd. Prejudice is sometimes misinterpreted but often than not, its just a state of mind which exist only to the insecure. If you feel you’re an outcast, sorry but that’s not my concern anymore. I don’t even know you and this is the first time I even comented on your views. We’re in a democracy here. I have not attacked anyone here. I try to limit my comments on the issues. There are no outcasts here. Didn’t you notice, Ellen tries to rein everybody in from time to time. She had been fair to everyone, and had not sided with any particular person. You may have personal issues with some commenters here, but please refrain from creating an air of divisiveness in this site. I hope you got my point.

  59. You’re right Ellen,

Without the paid hakot crowd and her phalanx of armed men around her when she goes on her sorties, Gloria is likely to be lynched.

Which reminds me that GLORIA IS THINKING VERY SERIOUSLY OF VISITING THE EUROPEAN UNION (she spoke to the Philstar’s European correspondent on the phone some 2 weeks ago, see column of Max Soliven – can’t remember which date anymore) and announced that a visit is in the pipeline.

When that happens, she will be in for a big surprise. This is no Middle East where her lackeys can cordone off would be protesters.

But you can perhaps access her blog: http://www.theeuropeandesk.blogspot.com

  60. npongco npongco

Schumey and Anna, I have no personal issues with neither of you or anyone here. I’m just astonished why this alitaptap’s targeting me for no apparent reason and then sarcastically seconded by this ystakei. Something’s wrong with some personalities here. Are we in a political discussion group or what? I would like to be clarified on this. If my presence is causing much suspicion and confusion to some, then I don’t mind signing off. Please review all my letters and see where I stand on political issues. I guarantee you that I’m no Malacanang boy. Thanks!

  61. npongco,

Point well taken. I do read all comments here regradless of whose side they’re on. Keep on blogging. No harm done to me.

    Anna,

Hope you give her the surprise of her life when she visits there. Time to kick dust in her eyes. That’s what I like about Europe, they’re more “in your face” than most countries.

  62. Npongco,

Although this isn’t my blog, allow me to say that you shouldn’t sign off. I’ve read your letters and wish to congrautlate you on your stand regarding issues raised here.

If I may offer some advice, don’t feel too sensitive about the comments here. You will notice that on the whole, the target of the comments here is the enemy in Malacanang and not necessarily the individual commenters.

Personally, I accept your word that you are no Malacanang boy. I suppose many commenters here will appreciate that.

  63. Jefferson Chiong Jefferson Chiong

    Nelbar,

O hayan para mas lalo mong maintindihan ang message, read between the lines. Is your selective reading is a ploy to gain sympathy? Well, change your tactic… just note this matalino na ang mga pinoy ngayon, marami na sa kanila ang nagugutom dahil sa masamang uri ng pulitika. Make your kind of politics clean and free from hatred, bayan muna bago ang sarili dib MenOk?

For those who want to pick up old fights, we’re game but what a waste of time. Why not join hands instead? Join hands in the biggest challenge of all, where we all win or we all lose: the battle for the survival and progress of our one and only country.

  64. Thanks, Anna, for the correction. The last time I used my French in fact was in 1982 when I went to Paris with a group of Japanese students on a study tour. We also went to Brussels and boy was I glad to use my French. I went to Normandy and Aunger as a matter of fact, and I enjoyed rubbing shoulders with the people there. I felt the blood kinship with the people there although I am not so enamored with the French as a matter of fact. I have more empathy with the British, who treated me well during my stint there as a student. Nice experience and good chance for learning about other people, and you tend to make comparisons. I kind of understand as well why Japanese or even Filipinos, perhaps, educated in UK are more down to earth and less puffed up than those who are educated in the USA. Search me why!

    galit-na-galit daw

  66. Ellen,

I wonder how much that huge necklace cost? Something’s missing in that photo, where’s the pitchfork and the horns?

  67. Schumey, Anna:

I wish this crook would stop calling her barging into some countries even as some kind of vanity trip as state visits, because they are not. Out of what the press in the Philippines in fact dubbed as state visits to Japan, six in all, only one was a real state visit that was supposed to be granted in fact to the duly elected president of the Philippines in 2000, but because the Philippine Embassy I am told insisted on having it granted to the Bansot on order of the Bansot of course, the privilege was granted to her, and that was that. It was her last visit to Japan as a matter of fact as the fake president of the Philippines.

I hope you will give her a hard time in France, etc. Magyayabang na naman ang ungas for sure.

  68. Jefferson Chiong Jefferson Chiong

    Korek k jan Taipan Ocho-Ocho!

You cannot argue with success on the economic front. “Our country is now growing over the longest period in the last quarter century: 22 consecutive quarters of growth,” President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo told the people on July 24.

Remember this; WE ARE A GREAT PEOPLE let us prove it ok? 😉

  69. nelbar nelbar

“two philippines”

  70. And Yuko, Schumey,

Her bodyguards will not be armed because it is forbidden here for officials not belonging to the nation’s para military organization to carry firearms. So, let’s see their tapang here! One of the Pinays I know here who is a vocal anti-Gloria is married to the chief of the police of one of the Belgian communes (districts)…

I’ve already alerted many Pinoy community leaders here and they are looking forward to throwing shitpies on her face!

Babatuhin pa itong mga officials ng Embassy dito ng kamatis na bulok paglabas pa lang nila ng embassy if they try to cordone off or intimidate OFWs here from attending protest rallies when Gloria comes. The co-chairman of the Federation of Philippine Associations in France also told me that Gloria will be in for an unpleasant surprise if she shows her bansot face here!

As I said, this is no Middle East where her paid lackeys, ass lickers and Phil Embassy officials were able to cordone off and intimidate would be OFW protesters during Gloria Bansot’s pilgrimage there…

  71. Anna:

You’ll be surprised to know there are also paid hakots that blocks entries to this kind of blogs. I suspect that we are not the only ones victimized. Kaya iyong mga iba through email na lang kay Ellen to get their messages posted and shared here.

One thing I have learned in my job as police interpreter is that majority of Filipinos with criminal inclination in fact can be caught by their own words. You only have to be watchful and know when to put your bait.

Of course, there are the denials.

Now, iyong magrereact, huling-huli!!! In the first place, why be in a blog like this just for the sake of messing up discussions, ang galing pang mamintas kundi may sakit ang mga ganyang tao ba o demonyo?!

Kung hindi naman importante,I don’t bother to read them. Pag nakita ko na ang pangalan after one reading and I found out to be from the same individual or group, I just pass their notes. I don’t waste time to read their nonsense. I don’t agree with him.

  72. Anna, i hope somebody does a Teresa Pangilinan to Gloria there. She should be shown that people hate her.

  73. Apparently, Amb. Bichara is in hot water. But he had challenged the DFA and OWWA to show the funds they said were already sent. He is open to any kind of investigation. It seems that the poor ambassador would suffer the same fate like former Sec. Fe Hidalgo. Mahirap talagang magsabi ng totoo. Malaking kahihiyan ito para sa administrasyon. To think that the pretender even bragged about the repatriation of our OFWs.

  74. See you guys later, I’ll go bowling. I’ll imagine the pins to be GMA and her LEGIONS. It does wonders to release stress. You guys should try it.

  75. I bet you’ll score high,Schumey. Let’s relax and enjoy whatever small blessings we have.

  76. Good game Schumey.

I agree with you that playing sports with Gloria in mind (like when I whacked a few balls the other day), is great stress relieve and absolutely great fun, even for other members of the family around! (My son laughed whenever before whacking a tiny white ball, I would say, “Ready idiotic Bunye?” and then I whack… or “Now, Gloria bansot, you’re about to be whacked 150 meters…” and whack I went…

  77. Dominique Dominique

Bichara’s revelation that they are short of funds for the evacuation of Filipino workers from lebanon gave a lie to GMA’s claim in her SONA that “we have the money… we have the money.”

  78. Toney Cuevas Toney Cuevas

You can dress Gloria Arroyo but still you got the same liar, cheater and thief inside the dress. The dress doesn’t make a better person it only cover up what has been there all along since Gloria was born and that’s not going to change. Gloria’s SONA was more of the same, empty promises and we know better to fall for it. What so amazing with the picture shown above, I must concede, Gloria is getting better of hiding what really inside her, she’s becoming an expert in cover up. I guess, she got more than enough of practice ever since she usurped President Estrada’s govt.

  79. npongco npongco

Merci, Anna. Comment allez-vous? Non…I’m not signing off. Not yet. I usually look at the total picture. A couple of bad guys here don’t bother me. I don’t easily give up like what I’m doing to this Gloria. I want to see her out NOW. I’m not over sensitive too. Why are these guys treating other members that way here? What has being a private or criminal investigator got to do with members here? Je ne comprends pas. Elles sont arrogants.

More than ever, we must unite and work for a change. Change means first ousting this bogus leader of the Palace down to every crook in the government. This can never be realized if even in this group there are those who think of hurting others’ feelings. If God commands us to love even our enemies, is it hard to love those they perceive to be Malacanang spies here?

    Bonsoir. A la prochaine.

  80. jeffersonchi-ong said:”You cannot argue with success on the economic front. “Our country is now growing over the longest period in the last quarter century: 22 consecutive quarters of growth,” President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo told the people on July 24.”

Any proof?

Just look at the people: if the citizens are satisfied with their government and the “servants” that make things happen, then I will by no means agree with you. AS OF LATE, I remain against the fakes, and that includes gloria pidal.

  81. Spartan Spartan

  82. Anna, Yuko, Npongco, nakakainggit naman kayo. Marunong kayo mag-French.

I took up Nivel 1 and 2 , French language course at Alliance Francaise (is this correct?)many, many years ago. I forgot all about it. It helped a little though when I went there a few times, official and personal.

  83. Mais, vous m’impressionez, NPongco! Ca va bien, merci. Et vous, vous allez bien? Il faut continuer a parler français NPongco!

Ellen, you should continue too. One of the best ways is to watch French movies or listen to French radio shows (even if you don’t understand everything they are saying).

You may try to be more daring by Frenchifying many common English words coz many words in English originated from French (a Latin-based language), which was the Royal Court’s language during the time of Guillaume le conquerant’s (William the Conqueror) and his heirs’ reign in the land of the Angles (England).

i.e, danncer = to dance, organiser – to organize, perserver = to persevere, chanter = to sing (close to the English word chant)

Common verbs in French as you probably learned in niveau 1 et niveau 2 of your French courses may end in either ER or RE. Syntax is the same: Subject + verb + object + complements.

I do find that speaking another language on top of one’s native tongue and English is an incredible advantage because one gets to read a wide range of books and opinions. It is really helpful. I also speak and understand a little German and am trying desperately to learn Dutch too or Flemmish (useful in Belgium but is so difficult because of the language’s guttural sounds). My oldest son speaks 4 languages as if they were his native tongues: English, French, German and Spanish while my other children are fully trilingual almost from the time they were born – English, French and German (German was learned with their first nanny who was Austrian and they continued learning it when they went to school). My daughter is starting to learn Chinese at the City Hall’s sponsored Chinese language course and am so happy about that. They all know many words and phrases in Tagalog but sadly, are not conversant in the language.

Ooops, sorry Ellen, for being off topic – am getting carried away there…

  84. By the way, NPongco, the family name of one of my closest friends in the Philippines is PONGCO and lives in Makati.

  85. npongco npongco

Are you referring to Irma Pongco? She’s my cousin. They were living in QC before they immigrated to Hawaii. The Pongcos are from San Fernando, Pampanga.

  86. npongco npongco

Anna, they used to live in Tondo, Manila. After she got married, she moved to QC and then immigrated to Hawaii decades ago. Please ask your friend if she knows Irma who completed her studies at PSBA in Manila. By the way, I may be originally from Pampanga but I grew up in Metro Manila. Many Kapampangan hate this Gloria!

  87. I watch movies in TV5. The one with English subtitles. I enjoy it better than Hollywood movies. The past two wednesdays, they had the movie on Felix Leclerc, the Quebecois folk singer and patriot.

  88. nelbar nelbar

  89. Hello Ellen, friends, Npongco, everyone, including the defenders and the admirers of Bansot and family,

Npongco, nope, my friend’s name ain’t Irma and both spouses still live in the Philippines. They have kins (sisters and parents) in the US but my friends decided to stay in the Philippines. They’re in mourning. Their 18 yr old daughter who was a medical student La Salle in Cavite died suddenly.

  90. npongco npongco

Oh Je suis de sole’…The daughter died? Please ask this couple of questions: 1. If the kins are in the US, are they in Hawaii and California? 2. Are they from San Fernando, Pampanga? If the answers to the above two questions are yes, then we’re related.

Merci, mademoiselle (or Madam?). Bonne journee.

  91. How sad.

What does “Bonne journee” means? Happy trip? I thought that’s bon voyage?

  92. Hi Ellen, Yuko, friends…NPongco,
