No deal

Katulad nitong mga opisyal ng PCGG (Presidential Commission on Good Government).

Magsaysay, no deal. Kung gusto niyang kumanta, kumanta siya. Walang kundisyon.

Tama. Kung ayaw niya, mabulok siya.

Bolante stands to lose more and to even say that they will never find him is absurd. He can’t leave for any other country. He knows he’s cooked. He only has two options left, to be deported here or to rot in a Wisconsin jail. Let’s see what he chooses.

  2. TongueInAnew TongueInAnew

Walang are-areglo.

Testimonial and documentary evidence gathered by the Philippine senate the release of multi-million agricultural funds intended for election purposes in 2004 national elections is solid as a rock. Gloria Arroyo and her cohorts are responsible for the fertilizer scam. Hindi puwedeng mag-exile sa San Francisco dahil sa “no safe haven for kleotpcrats policy” ng Amerika.
Saan kaya? Sa South Polar region o China.

  4. Lakas ng apog, kapal ng mukha!
HU-das he think he is? ….saying what he wants done or else…..

Grabe naman itong kampon ng lagim!

Beggars cannot demand anything.

Can’t we encourage those wanted people like Joc joc Bolante to sing. This is a welcome development to consider because the fertilizer scam would be solved at last. Of course not on J. Bolante’s term. A blanket protection must be extended to him and to his family as no. 1 counter offer. Second, it’s up to Sen. R. Magsaysay to give-in on some terms requested by Joc joc for as long as it is not detrimental to the Senate investigating panel as well as to the existing laws.

Who’s loss is it.

Strike a fruitful deal or nothing!

  7. TongueInAnew TongueInAnew

Para sa akin the only deal would be, help us put Gloria and her husband behind bars, return whatever money he got from the scam, and I will allow him to return to the Philippines and give him close-in security.

  9. Jon Mariano:

Wow ha! Is that so? That vote rigger Garci is running for position in the bogus government? Sinong boboto sa kaniya? Pag nanalo iyan, it means talagang wala nang pag-asa ang Pilipinas! Might as well cut off the ties with the Philippines forever! But no, definitely not! Patigasan tayo. We’re here to stay to pester these kutos out of the system, and return the rule of law by all means possible to topple the bogus government, and put him and his fellow crooks in prison! That should be our goal! By God, it should be our goal!

  10. NO DEAL! Who told you that this guy is really willing to talk—talk on whom? Talk about the people who are paying his bills at the moment?

Iyong amo nga niya says something today but says something different tomorrow—hindi pa tomorrow but after a minute or two! Nakaka-insulto lang ang animal!

I’m glad that Jun Magsaysay is sticking to his guns. There is no need to make a deal with a criminal. He should be made to confess in full. Di mabulok siya sa bilibid para matakot din ang mga katulad niya especially when the Pidals abandon them all!!!

  11. Yuko,
I’m also very dissatisfied with what’s happening in the Philippines. And just like you, I’m following the developments of issues. These developments give us ideas as to what’s going to happen next and for those who are in position to influence things, gives them a change to prepare (e.g. senators) their course of action.

Garci – Wanted ng Senado. Nagtago ng matagal. Nang nasa senado na, walang nangyari. At oo malamang tumakbo bilang congressman (just google on him running for election…)
Sabio – Wanted ng Senado kasama ng iba pang officers ng PCGG. Anong nangyayari? Wala di ba?
Bolante – Wanted ng Sendo. malamang pag umuwi iyan, wala ring mangyayari!

  12. Our government… teaches the whole people by its example. If the government becomes the lawbreaker, it breeds contempt for law; it invites every man to become a law unto himself; it invites anarchy.

  13. Amen to that Cory by the the Sea. But this has been going on since I was a kid as a matter of fact. I actually had the impression that laws in the Philippines were made to be broken!!!

It was one main reason why my father finally decided he had had it, and packed his whole clan to the US, where at least he said people in general knew where they should cross the street—where they had the white lines especially in busy thoroughfare!!!

Dito, sasagasaan ka na lang and you cannot sue the person who runs over you because he has the right of lane!!!

  14. Jon,

If you and I won’t give up, I guess, the Senators themselves will be inspired to do their best for justice to prevail. But then, the Senate is actually not in a position to prosecute anyone. Its function is to find out the truth and then recommend removal and prosecution may be. But if the Justice Department will not cooperate, then that’s it, unless they make a motion to remove the idiot there running a zarzuela and making a mockery of justice in the Philippines. I cannot also understand how people who have not been confirmed by the Commission on Appointments can function as judge in the Supreme Court for instance. Sobra ang anomalyang iyan. Turuan na lang in fact ang nangyayari!!!

I would not even commend anyone in the Senate for a job well done kasi binabayaran sila to do those jobs. Encouragement, yes, but not commend them as in “to flatter”! Lumalaki lang ang ulo kasi like the tendency of praising for example Villar!

  15. npongco npongco

If Iggy “Pidal” Arroyo was able to win as congressman in Negros, what would stop this Garci from winning too? These days, these crooks in Malacanang are trying to place all their allies in all positions to have better control.

  16. Elvira Sahara Elvira Sahara

Bolante is acting like a monkey! Now that the lion is about to devour him, he uses every means to get out of it, even to the extent of offering to sing his theme song! Didn’t I say, it’s a No Deal for the Senate? Let’s hope and pray everything will turn out to be just what we’ve been hoping for.
You’re right, Ystakei! It’s been a “turuan” system eversince Gloria’s government illegally took over! Yes, this biggest idiot at the Justice department is second to none! I hate to mention even his name and what more see his face on the papers! Wonder if he ever was confirmed by the CA ( No chance to read the paper yet.

  17. OT but somewhat rlated, kasi we’re “DEALing” with JUSYICE, right?

Eniweyz, I just read RinaDavid-J’s column and it smacks truth where it lies! GONGGONGzalez, siRAULo is at it again! As if selling Justice in that rape case!

Where in the world will you find its justice secretary siding with the enemy?
    Susmariosep! Onli in da Pilipins!

  18. Frankly, Jon, my reading on the posts of the Internet Brigade is for you and me to give up. It is what they are aiming for as a matter of fact as when they say this blogging is even a futile attempt to arouse the Filipinos to action.

Futile? It took Filipinos centuries to form the KKK to fight the Spanish conquistadors, and a decade or two to really be able to muster strength against Marcos, for instance and only with the help of Uncle Sam.

This time, it is even just a few months after the Ale Boba stole the presidency that we saw thousands of poor Filipinos marching with nothing but the will to fight for what they thought was right, and in the clash with the battle-geared police had to try to pick up whatever they could get hold of to retaliate and show their disgust for the usurper.

This time, hopefully, the US may provide the means but will leave the Filipinos to solve their own problems and miseries. Kaya nga trying hard iyong mga ungas to discourage us by trying to brainwash us that the Ale Boba is now invincible and cannot be toppled! Thanks to the remittances of the OFWs, the foreign loans and aids given to the bogus government even for natural disaster and calamities, the crooks have money to burn for bribing their fellow crooks in the government agencies that can help her stay!

The key word, Jon, in fact is “tiyaga,” and yes, “faith” in God and even in the Filipinos — at least, faith in the likes of the journalists for instance who are being sued by the Fatso, who is definitely making this filing of libel suits his other means of income!!! I would believe him if he did not ask for the million pesos damage fees daw!!!

So, tuloy ang laban! PATALSIKIN NA, NOW NA!

  19. Raul Gonzalez’s confirmation as Secretary of Justice is up with the CA I think on the 25th. He’s not yet confirmed, and the CA is expected to bypass him once more. However, it is also expected that Gloria will re-appoint him. Noted, ika nga!

  20. Sorry, Jon, but I find it really stupid that a non-confirmed idiot like SiRAULo Gonzales could have such power. Over here, no confirmation, no job, for the truth is the job of the minister is more or less just formality since the power is supposed to lie in the people who expects the minister to serve them as their servant.

Iyan ang tinatawag na democracy—a government OF, FOR and BY the people, hindi a government of, for and by the Pidals!
    Mamamatay na sana sila!

    PATALSIKIN NA, NOW NA!

  21. npongco npongco

Off topic: What’s your stand on the Pope’s recent comment against the Muslims? About Bolante, it’s a test case for the US. Let’s see how far they go to prove that they have a better justice system.

  22. Oops, this should read: Over here, no confirmation, no job, for the truth is the job of the minister is more or less just formality since the power is supposed to lie in the people who EXPECT the minister to serve them as THEIR LOYAL SERVANT.

  23. Right from the start, siRAULoGONGGONGzalez have been siding with the enemy. He has been rooting for the american side.

    Sounds familiar? Baka takot ma-bolante!
    Nyah-hah-hah!

But with Abalos, et al there at the Comelec, with or without the consent of the people of what province this Garci is from, he will surely win especially when the riggers are paid very satisfactorily with all kinds of funds available for the looting!!!

I know, because a very popular candidate who was supposed to have even the patronage of 8M OFWs lost to the bum from Negros posing as the real owners of the properties now in question in SFO (they were actually pinpointed to me by a friend when I visited the US last Christmas), and bragging that his aunts would soon be canonized as saints!!!

Yuck!!!

House panel to restore ‘pork’ to P21 B
    By Jess Diaz
    The Philippine Star 09/19/2006

If the proposed 2007 budget provides P40 million per congressman and P120 million per senator in pork barrel funds, the House will increase such allocations and restore them to their previous levels.

Albay Rep. Joey Salceda, who chairs the House committee on appropriations, told reporters yesterday that his panel would restore pork barrel funds for next year to P70 million for congressmen and P200 million for senators.

He was commenting on the clarification made by Budget Secretary Rolando Andaya Jr. that under President Arroyo’s proposed P1.136-trillion budget for next year, House members would each have P40 million only, and not P70 million as Salceda claimed last Friday.

Malacañang cut the lawmakers’ allocations to P40 million for House members and P120 million for senators two years ago due to the financial difficulties the nation was then facing.

However, since then, Congress had either enacted new tax laws or increased existing tax rates, including the expanded value added tax, resulting in additional revenue collections.

Restoration of the pork barrel funds would mean that there would be a total of P21.3 billion (P16.5 billion for the House and P4.8 billion for the Senate) for members of Congress to share.

Salceda said while pork barrel allocations were reduced two years ago, pro-administration congressmen have actually been receiving an additional P30 million from the Palace, bringing their annual pork barrel funds to a total of P70 million.

He said the restoration of such funds to their original levels “is reasonable, since next year is an election year.”

Besides, he pointed out that the annual budget has grown from P800 billion to more than P1 trillion.

He admitted that there is tremendous pressure from his colleagues to “officially” restore their funds to P70 million each.

Opposition congressmen led by Minority Leader Francis Escudero said there should be a provision in the annual budget law banning Malacañang from “hijacking or impounding” funds allotted to congressional districts.

They said the allocations, even if increased, won’t matter if the Palace routinely withholds funds for areas represented by opposition lawmakers.

In the case of some militant party-list representatives, allocations dating back to 2004 have not been released.

Many opposition congressmen have been complaining that the funds they have allotted to the Philippine Heart Center, National Kidney Institute and other government hospitals in Metro Manila and the provinces for sick constituents needing their help would soon dry up.

They are pleading with Salceda to help them in the release of their funds.

Before the House killed the new impeachment complaint against President Arroyo last month, her chief of staff, former Quezon City Rep. Mike Defensor, was quoted as saying Malacañang would not release funds to opposition congressmen.

Why would the Palace make taxpayers’ money available to those out to impeach the President? Defensor asked. CHED allots P187M in ‘pork’
The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) has reportedly allocated P187 million in “pork” for members of the House of Representatives who voted to kill the new impeachment complaint against President Arroyo last month.

“Anti-impeachment lawmakers are now reaping the benefits of their act,” Rep. Teodoro Casiño of the militant party-list group Bayan Muna, who exposed the allocation, told a news conference yesterday.

He said 187 House members would get an additional P1 million each for their scholarship and educational assistance grants for their “favorite” college students.

“This is a one-time program that is obviously designed for political purposes since the May 2007 elections are fast approaching,” he said.

Casiño likened the project to the distribution of health insurance cards by Mrs. Arroyo during the 2004 election campaign.

In a statement yesterday, members of the House majority branded as unfair and unfounded Casiño’s allegation, saying they had voted in clear conscience to uphold the House justice committee’s report junking the impeachment complaint for insufficient substance.

Those who took exception to Casiño’s allegation include House Deputy Speaker for Mindanao Gerry Salapuddin, Davao Oriental Rep. Joel Mayo Almario and Leyte Rep. Eduardo Veloso.

Salapuddin said the allegation that lawmakers benefited from their anti-impeachment position via the Emergency Funds Assistance for Students (E-FAST) program of CHED is baseless and unfair to the President, the representatives of the people, the CHED and student beneficiaries.

Salapuddin explained that the E-FAST of P1 million is to be given to plan holder students who were affected by the financial problems of some educational plan institutions like the College Assurance Plan and is not in any way a reward from the Palace.

“With the timely assistance of the President through CHED, those affected plan holders have a new lease on life to continue their education. I don’t think any leader with a conscience should put political color or throw mud at a noteworthy cause meant to save the youth to assure them of a good future,” Salapuddin said.

He pointed out that even a private person like former congressman Mark Jimenez understood the plight of the affected plan holders and donated P20 million of his personal money to help them continue their studies.

In the same news conference, Bukidnon Rep. Teofisto Guingona III, who belongs to the minority bloc like Casiño, exposed another Arroyo administration program that the opposition claims is for election purposes.

Guingona said the President, by issuing Executive Order 558, is reviving the “discredited” credit programs of the Marcos regime that results in the loss of at least P40 billion in taxpayers’ money.

He said the two-sentence EO 558 repealed EO 138, issued on Aug. 10, 1999 by then President Estrada, which disallowed 111 government agencies that were not financial institutions from undertaking credit programs.

He said among the agencies banned from lending taxpayers’ money was the Department of Agriculture, which implemented the Masagana credit program during the Marcos regime.

“All 111 government agencies that served as distribution outlets of funds failed due to political patronage. Politicians intervened as to who should be the loan beneficiaries. Because the loans came from agencies, beneficiaries treated them as dole-outs,” he stressed.

Guingona pointed out that the World Bank, Asian Development Bank and even the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas have expressed alarm over the revival of the Marcos-era credit schemes.

“What was achieved by EO 138 should be restored and safeguards against policies that were proven ineffective and disastrous should be established. Enough of bad economics,” he said.

Deputy Minority Leader Alan Peter Cayetano said “with projects like these that are clearly intended for political purposes, the country cannot hope to improve its image and ranking in terms of combating corruption.”

“This administration is not fighting corruption. On the contrary, it is creating opportunities for corruption,” he said. — With Delon Porcalla

    ystakei,

  27. Cory by the Sea, if you get into the same position as Nicole in Japan, rest assured that you will not be treated like a prostitute by the people who are vested with the power to uphold the law.

The truth is I have already talked to people who are against the US bases in Japan to prepare a protest group to force the Japanese government to try these horny soldiers in Japan if in case they are returned in Okinawa where they are home based. Baka ang gawin ng US military diyan iuwi na ang mga salbahe directly to the US kung walang gagawin si Pandak to have these rapists convicted.

It reminds me of the 12-year-old rape victim of a Japanese pedophile. Napilitan lang silang makinig nang makialam na ang isang grupo ng mga abogadong hapon who demanded that if the Philippine court would release the Japanese pedophile, dito siya kakasuhan sa Japan, and with a pending case here, pihadong mabubulok siya sa bilangguan.

Two years ago, in fact, I translated a document of a case of a foreign lady who was assaulted and raped by a US serviceman outside of a US base in Japan. The serviceman said the same thing that it was a consensual sex, but with the evidences presented like medical certificates and pictures of the battered woman soon after she was raped and reported the case to the police, he was convicted. 10 years without parole with forced labor.

If such can be done in Japan, why can it not be done in the Philippines? And why should these horny soldiers be kept under the custody of the US embassy while they are being tried in a Philippine court? Why are they not being turned over to the Philippine court?

Sorry, Ellen, for using profanities but I just cannot find the right words to express exactly what and how I size up these idiots, including that foreign Catholic priest who tries his best to make these horny soldiers look like saints! Susmaryosep!

Pag-aralan ninyo ang kasaysayan lalo na noong The Great War(1914-1918).

Galileo, Copernicus, Darwin at marami pang iba?

Just to clarify: Azulay Horn & Seiden IS NOT the second largest law firm in the US. That distinction belongs to Jones Day Reavis & Pogue based in Cleveland, Ohio. The biggest is Baker & MacKenzie, based in Chicago.

The Azulay firm is a specialty firm (called a “boutique” in US legal circles), concentrating on immigration. But it is the 4th biggest (in the US) in its field.

They are good. Joc joc must have lots of money to hire these specialists.

I agree with you all, we dont have to really believe joc-joc bolante, taht he is willing to sing a new song, provided that his visa be restored, problem is the visa thing is purely/entirely up to the US government INS. If he really wanted to sing, why the heck did he hide or snubbed the subpoenas by the Philippine senate??? IF he really wants to sing, why only now???why took some three months before he decided to sing??? another thing, sen magsaysay is right to say, if he really wants to sing he should send a letter/affidavit to senator magsaysay or the senate, (provided that the letter/affidavit is duly notarized and in-front of the Philipine embassy/consulate officials and other witnesses, who is willing to certify that authenticity of the said letter or affidavit)

Going to the pork allocation, isn’t is odd for salceda to increase the prok barrel of our legislators amidst the election in 2007???hmmmmmm…… funny thing, i’m thinking that this will be used by these crroks for their re-election in 2007.

ANother thing does anybody read in the editorial section of the Philippine star last sunday, 17 Sept the request of the vice president for his own pork barrel??? according to the editorial it is for his constituents??? MY GOD CONSTITUENTS??? when did the vice president has a constituents??? he was/is elected nationally, why constituents, will somebody pls tell him that he is elected nationally and that he does not have a constituents. ok, ok for the sake of argument/s, his constituents is all FIlipinos, and pls tell him to stop using the word constituents.

Finally. why is this administration blaming erap on the failing marks given by the WB on the Philippines anti-graf and corruption rating??? erap who is already in jail for the past six years (almost) is to be blamed for the poor performance of this administration????tsk, tsk, tsk…. I dont think so, this administration is fond of pointing the blames to someone/somebody else. This administration, who has been in (stolen) power for the past six years (almost) is blaming others for their failure. SHAME ON YOU GLORIA!!!!! you who has the gall to LIE/STEAL AND CHEAT is blaming others, why dont you just go to hell

BOTTOMLINE, WE SHOULD NOW STAND UP AND MAKE A STAND, PATALSIKIN NOW NA!!!!!!

On DFA Secretary Romulo’s comment that he will be filing a diplomatic protest against the US on the count of visa cancellation of bolante??? my question is, why??? is bolante a government official??? i thought he is not connected witht he government anymore??? somebody should tell the DFA that the US visa cancellation is a matter of US govt. Now, will the (IN)justice secretary raise his right hand and brands the US govt as destabilizers??? I dont htink so. He who cannot even passed the CA for confirmation should know when to quit, kapal din naman ng mukha, ayaw talaga paawat, hehehehehehehe………maybe someone should check his diapers, baka puno na ng weewee at UU, hehehehehehehe……….

Typical Abante columnist style. Siguro, siguro, siguro, Isang ayaw magpabanggit ng pangalan, Maari, Diumano, etc.etc. Puro tsismis, puro intriga. hehehe.

  34. kitamokitako kitamokitako

Talagang malala na sa pinas. It has already been the norm. It is standard now to lie, be greedy, be corrupt. Out of place ka if you are not one. Have a friend working for the govt and he has not been promoted for long. All bec he does not have money to share with the bosses. He does not have the means bec he does not involve himself in graft and corruption.

NOW NA.

  35. God Bless You, jun…

Sayang nga lang, walang dice ang mga girls kay Pol Lozada because he has a preference for boys.

  37. Sorry, Apolinario Lozada’s nickname is “Jun”.

Anyway, pity he lost the seat in Negros… Incredible!

    Jun:

It was a figure of speech, “nanginginig na siguro ang tumbong”. It was well known Bolate is politically connected to both illegitimate Gloria and Miguel. Hence, the saying is more appropriate, especially when funds were misplaced and fugitive Bolate flew the coop to avoid prosecution. And to deny you of the truth of fertilizer scam. You, if you’re still citizen of the Philippines deserve to know the truth of P728 million to where it went. Aren’t you curious?

Your selfish certainly is misused in this forum. None of us here I believe has something to do in grabbing power and overthrowing unconstitutionally legitimate President Estrada. You should’ve directed more appropriately to the person or persons that deserve the adjective – selfish. Moreover, how many here own properties in San Francisco and accounts in Germany? Selfish is when you lie, cheat and steal to get rich. Lets not forget killing innocent people to be added to the resume of selfish illegitimate Gloria.

Wasakin ang Bansang Pilipina? Illegitimate Gloria already did the job since she grabbed power and it hasn’t stop, if you haven’t notice. Remove your blinder, if you would please.

  39. Anna:

Lozada’s real name is Apolinario. Sayang talaga siya. I hope he will stick to his principle and run again versus the Iggy kapag nakulong ang isang iyan for contempt and being an accomplice to the crime being committed by his sibling.

  40. Toney,

Anyway, “nanginginig na siguro ang tumbong” is enough.

Besides, we don’t want Ellen peering into the tumbong of anybody – gosh, let Gloria’s friends and supporters verify that and report duly whether the tumbong was nanginig or nanginginig…

If Gloria and her supporters/friends and asslickers want to show proof that “nanginginig na siguro ang tumbong” ain’t true, well, let them show proof it ain’t.

After all they are the asslickers and should know better!

Gloria has been ruling on lies, I wonder when we’ll all have enough before we replicate Hungarian abhorrence for a LYING LEADER?

  42. Anna:

Sino daw ang nanginginig ang tumbong? Iyong mga tabatsoy sa palace by the murky river?

  43. Yuko,

Kaya nga, itong mga supporters ni immoral bansot – sila itong asslickers ni Gloria, so they’re the ones who should verify the intensity of the nginig of the tumbong, di ba?

    And not Ellen!

  44. Anna:

Sabi ko, hindi pero pupunta ako now that they have informed me.

Glue’s world is becoming smalller every second.

Sasamantalahin ko na itong blog mo, and thanks a lot. The last time I check, he’s in Canada. Jo, this is AQ, one of your best friends.

  48. Hahahahah!

“Talaga naman ang mga hampaslupa! Right, Anna, bakit kailangang tignan ni Ellen ang mga puwit ng mga iyan?”

  49. Ryoukai, ystakei-san! Sumimasen ne, waza-waza.
Will do that. Iron-Transfers are better than the tees.

Or better, “dila-puwit” sila!

May disiplina pa! Hindi umooo kung saan-saan! Yuck!

Nagkalat! 😛

  53. Anna,

What happened to the T-shirts? Gosh, friend, baka pina-blacklist ka na! Freedom of speech, ipaglaban mo!

The Bumbling, bungling RCMP Plus CIA=This:

Talking of justice; here is a good one on how justice should work. Every government, or government agency makes mistake sometimes without malicious
intent, nonetheless after mistake had been committed and no one willing to assume responsibility or owned up to the mistake, no matter if not an intention, but an innocent citizen was victimized, justice has to be pursued. Such is the case of Mahir Arar, A Canadian of Syrian descent who
upon the stopping over in the U.S. was pick up the Authorities as a suspected terrorist, deported to Syria for interrogation and torture, all because of the bungling of the Canadian spy Agency and the RCMP.

It took Justice O’CONNOR headed Judicial Inquiry 2 ½ years to complete the findings, but he left no stones unturned, no power left hiding behind any skirt and in his report he put the blame squarely where it should be; the
spy agency, the RCMP and the U.S. officials. He also asked the government to work out a compensation settlement with the Arar family that could run into
MILLIONS (the govt. announce today that it is going to work out a satisafactory settlement with Mr. Arar and family) And along with his findings, his recommendation for legislative measures to be considered into law, so the same unfortunate event may never happen again and also to look at all the other cases of suspected terrorists deported to their Home Country where they may have been subjected to
torture. To check more on related articles check torstar.com Sept l9 for more updates.. thanks and finally after three years Mr. Arar was vindicated. Justice as we see it happens.

  59. Phil Cruz Phil Cruz

According to one of Gloria’s apologist columnist trips-abroad-hitchhiker, Gloria proudly told her audience in Hawaii that she was the first Philippine President to have in fact asked help from Amnesty International to resolve the extrajudicial and political killings in the country?!

    Naks!! Hustler talaga!

  60. Phil,

“…Philippine President to have in fact asked help from Amnesty International to resolve the extrajudicial and political killings in the country?!”

How on earth can Amnesty International resolve the extra-judicial and political killings in the country? And even if they do, what can they do about it?

Gloria was using AI as publicity gimmick and to blur the issue!

  61. norpil norpil

npongco,i also read your entry but did not comment since you said yourself it is out of topic. nelbar answered it nice and proper and i agree with her though i am a catholic. then your answer to the comment, seems to me that you are in a fishing expedition. i thought that all those who take their religion seriously think that their church is the only true church for otherwise they will move to another church not unless they are again like me who is too tamad to find and learn of another religion more suitable.

  62. npongco npongco

norpil, you think I’m on fishing expedition? Why respond to my post? There are churches like the one I mentioned the one who belongs here believes theirs is the true church. I just thought of commenting on the Pope’s recent statement that angered the Muslim community. You’re free to share your views or shut up. It’s as simple as that.

BREAKING NEWS…Coup d’etat in Bangkok while Thai Prime Minister is in New York addressing the United Nations!

  66. You’re right Chabeli!

    Here’s breaking news from BBC:

    “Thailand calls state of emergency

Thai Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra has declared a state of emergency in Bangkok amid rumours of a state coup.
“I declare Bangkok under a severe state of emergency,” he said on television. He is currently at the UN in New York.”

  67. BANGKOK, Thailand (CNN) — Tanks have been seen rolling through the streets of Bangkok, Thailand, on Tuesday amid rumors of an attempted coup, witnesses tell CNN.

Thai Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra — currently at the U.N. headquarters in New York — went on a government-owned TV station and declared a state of emergency, The Associated Press reported.

  68. Chabeli Chabeli

“Soldiers seize government house” according to BBC…”the arm forces say they control the capital” according to CNN…

People on the streets seem so relaxed.

  69. Anyway, am not too worried for the Thais coz they have a king who will ultimately pacify erring factions there.

The Thais are luckier in that aspect, they have a Solomon of some kind whereas we in Pinas, have just a demon.

  70. Chabeli Chabeli

    Anna de Brux,
Je ne suis pas pour un coup d’etat, mais what if this happens in the Philippines? Just a thought…

  71. Chabeli,

Here’s breaking news from Agence France Presse:

“Des militaires thaïlandais se sont emparés, mardi 19 septembre, du siège du gouvernement à Bangkok. Le premier ministre, Thaksin Shinawatra, a déclaré l’état d’urgence dans la capitale.”

Thai troops took over, on the 19th of Sept, the government’s main office in Bangkok. Prime Minister Thaksin xxx, declared a state of emergency in the capital.

  72. Just sharing. This was sent to me re the Hawaii trip of the Ale Boba. This will give you a complete idea of what kind of lies she uttered there:

Earlier, excerpts from the interview appeared in print (hard copy)

I produced the attached Word file by cutting and pasting the
transcript from the Web edition of Monday’s Advertiser. To enhance your
ease of reading, I’ve bolded the Advertiser’s questions while inserting
    spaces between the questions.

The full citation appears in the header of page 1. The appropriate

In her opening statement, the President refers to the Advertiser’s

On the preceding Sunday, I e-mailed a letter calling on the
President to take exercise leadership in the face of murders of
journalists in the Philippines. I sent this letter to the editors of The

I have sent the attachment to Ellen of the Word document prepared by Mr. Pollard for future reference as a matter of fact.

  73. Chabeli,

Very, very deppresing thought as far as I’m concerned!

There’s not one leader in the military who is good enough to take over as current military leadership stands today.

A coup d’état will be just as bad as Gloria, I’m afraid given the record of those who are in the military’s top brass ladder.

The young ones, from major rank down, aren’t equipped mentally and intellectually to lead a government yet.

  75. Chabeli Chabeli

You are correct, Anna de Brux, to say that the thought is “depressing.” It would indeed be a jump from the fire to the fying pan! But with the current administration so weak, this threat remains to be a plausibility…Triste.

  76. Chabeli,
Possible?

  77. Chabeli Chabeli

You are correct, Anna de Brux. Merci beaucoup pour votre opinion.

  78. Chabeli Chabeli

But you know what, Anna de Brux? Some IDIOT in the military will have the nerve to think that he has the courage to do so! That would be horrible!

  79. oops, erreur de frappe: desolée Chabeli!

‘à l’heure qu’il est’ (au lieu de: “alors qu’i est”)

    merci.

  80. Anna:

At least, the Thais still have respect for their king. We’ll see how King Bhumipol will appease his people. Dapat kasi, hindi na pinabalik si Thaksin after the expose on his family.

  81. Phil Cruz Phil Cruz

Ahhh…Anna and Chabeli,…Such beautiful language. If only I could understand it.

Please translate in English. Baka ma charge pa kayo ni Raul of destabilizing for using language he cannot understand.

  82. norpil norpil

npongco. as i said before, nothing is so simple specially when one is writing things. things would have been easier if you write things directly instead of indirectly.sharing views is ok but hurling insulting things is not ok.

  84. True, Yuko!

That is one good advantage the Thais have over the rest of mortal Asians, excepting Japan: their King!

  85. Hahahahahahah!

“Baka ma charge pa kayo ni Raul of destabilizing for using language he cannot understand.”

    Hihihih!

Just that Chabeli and I have started a sort of commenting/corresponding in French in another blog but here is the translation for you my dear Phil (Yuko speaks and understands French so she knows what was said); just the same, my apologies to those who do not speak French (and so as not to be charged with destabilizing Gloria’s wretched govt, here’s the translation):

““Il faut avoir beaucoup, beaucoup de audace et un véritable courage pour sauter un pas vers un vrai coup d’état. Or, alors qu’il est, il n’y a pas un militaire aux Philippines qui possède le courage moral et physique pour réussir une aventure telle qu’un coup d’état.”

(One must be very, very audacious and must have real courage to jump towards launching a real coup d’état. But as we speak, there is not one military man in the Philippines who possesses the moral and physical courage to succeed in an adventure such as a coup d’état.)

  86. Yup, Anna, the emperor is a good buffer! He does not have any political power, but the people respect him even when they have been reduced to being something like a celebrity!

Sa UK, medyo binabastos pa ang royalty because of the fact that sa totoo lang mga estrangero naman kasi—from Germany but through intermarriages among the European monarchies, naging heir tuloy iyong pinakanuno ni Queen Elizabeth. Kaya popular si Princess Di. It was because she was a direct descendant of the English King James.

Papano iyan kung ipursige ni Abueva iyong Charter niya to help this crook be a queen. Position ng Duke, Earl, Count or Baron? Langya, ang tayog ng mga pangarap!

  87. Con’t of translation:

“A vrai dire, Chabeli, c’est tentant d’avoir un coup d’état à l’heure qu’il est, mais ce n’est pas la meilleure solution aux problèmes actuels dans le pays.”

(To be honest, Chabeli, it’s tempting to have a coup d’état at the moment, but it’s not the best solution to the problems facing the country today.)

  88. Hey, Yuko speaking of royalty, Prince Andrew is slated to visit RP in November according to Bunye.

I can bet my bottom yen that Gloria & cohorts managed to sign a contract with a UK company during their trek to London.

  89. Phil Cruz Phil Cruz

Thanks, Anna. I think therefore that that conversation with Chabeli was quite safe.

And I am trying to perfect my Tagalog—write in it in pure Tagalog, no Taglish! I speak a little Ilocano, too, that I learned by ear. I can read and write in Japanese aside from speaking it like a native!!! If you need translation in Japanese, just holler. I actually charge 50 dollars per page for translation in Tagalog/Japanese for simple documents, and more for more difficult ones. English/Japanese translation is cheaper. 30 dollars a page. For oral translation, I am paid 150 dollars an hour.

  91. I forgot to mention that I have a working capacity to speak Mandarin, too. Studied it for fun and thought I’d increase my knowledge of kanji, the Chinese characters! Sunny is giving me a good practice in it. My Chinese friend in church from Beijing says my pronunciation is fairly good.

  92. Gosh, Yuko,

I’m nowhere near you! I can translate easy stuff but professional interpreting? Eeeeeek! Nope, I’m just a humble amateur translator…(Wish I could though coz professional interpreters are paid loads here in the EU… a friend of mine who’s a professional French-English interpreter, NATO certification gets paid 55 to 70 thousand Euros annually, tax free + lots of benefits, free schooling for kids, etc.)

Professional interpreting is a big thing in the EU!

I had a page translated by a certified professional interpreter required for some City Hall documents, I paid 75 Euros per page and I could have translated it myself (it was easy after all) but City Hall requires duly accredited, certified City Hall translators so, in effect, I paid for the official stamp of the translator! Mais, c’est leur travail and these guys had a degree in interpretation and translation, so quite normal!)

Retired AFP chief of staff General Generoso Senga missed the opportunity to oust fake President Gloria Arroyo last February 25th 2006. The Army Scout Ranger Regiment, the Marines with tanks and armor and PNP Special Forces were ready to march against unpopular Arroyo regime. He should arrest Army chief Esperon instead of Army Ranger Brig. General Danny Lim. General Senga can invoke constitutional provision: the Armed Forces of the Philippines is the protector of the people and the State. I believe the Filipino people will support a just cause. Gloria Arroyo, Jose Pidal, Joc-Joc Bolante and their cohorts should be in jail by now for their crimes. Majority of the Filipino people believes she cheated in 2004 presidential elections and wants her to be ousted.

BANGKOK (Reuters) – The Thai armed forces dismissed the government and revoked the country’s 1997 constitution on Wednesday after a coup to oust Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra. A coup spokesman, Retired Lieutenant-General Prapart Sakuntanak, announced the dismissal in a televised address after the army took control of Bangkok without a shot being fired and announced a commission to reform the constitution.

    Out of topic,
A top General staged a coup de etat in Thailand, while the Prime Minister is in New York, At the same time a big protest is happening in Hungary against the government. The reasons are the same, It’s about election irregularities last April.
When will the principled and righteous men of the Philippine Military, (excluding Esperon and Co.) do the same thing. When will the people seeking the truth and justice about the election irregularities committed by the Glue wake up and go to the streets and protest. Its about time something has to be done to save the Philippines from going to the dogs.

I thought I woke up from a nightmare and found myself in some strange land. And illegitimate Gloria in front of my face and talking funny. Kinda scarry, it was an awful experience and scared the living daylight out of me. How would you like such bad dream, half sleep, open your eyes and there’s illegitimate Gloria on your face? Now I can understand to why Miguel spending so much time by himself in San Francisco and as far away from Gloria whenever he get a chance. Can you blame Miguel? Ha! Ha! Ha!

The Thai coup plotters accused Prime Minister Thaksin of corruption and constant interference with the legislature and the courts. There’s a similarity in the Philippines under corrupt Gloria Arroyo regime. Mrs. Arroyo and Jose Pidal have prostituted the military-police, the lower congress, regional trial courts and anti-graft court Ombudsman. Arroyo cronies and Cabinet men are living beyond their means. They are untouchables and well-protected like Joc-Joc Bolante.

“Just to clarify: Azulay Horn & Seiden IS NOT the second largest law firm in the US.

    xxx xxx ….

They are good. Joc joc must have lots of money to hire these specialists.”

there are really good, honest and competent lawyers around who established their good names and careers, protecting life, liberty and property of upright citizens through strict adherence to the constitution, and the laws of the land. unfortunately for us, there are only a few rare breed of lawyers around us with unsurpassed integrity and probity. i can name one, justice jose y. feria.

sometimes when one say a lawyer is good, it may mean the lawyer is smart enough to go round and round the law and win his case on technicality at best, or at worst, he is crooked enough to lay the ground work of offer and counter-offer and has mastered skillfully the art of free-wheeling and dealing to win a case for a moneyed client at all cost.

in a graft-prone society like ours, money always changed hands in so many successfully litigated cases especially in the lower level. the main objective of practitioners is to win their case first base because one case too many added in a lawyer’s tally sheet will make him look an “abogado de campanilla”. earning a title like that in legal circle means fame and then follows windfall of fortunes.

winning a case at the earliest opportunity, will end the litigation especially if the opponent cannot finance his case on appeal all the way up to the SC. if the other party can afford the added cost of appeals, there is always the risk of losing in a higher level court, and losing a case on appeal diminishes a lawyer’s worth.

case manipulations are done by people who are morally bankrupt and whose sense of right or wrong had been totally wiped out by an overwhelming lure of money. they are experts and spent most of their waking hours designing one legal scheme after another until they can come up with an almost perfect model for implementation.

in our country anyway, the more money you have, the more respect you will get from the society. people who cannot afford to wear signature clothes and jewelries or who do not drive the latest model of expensive cars and auv’s cannot attract anybody’s attention. by nature all of us wanted to be somebody. so that explains why so many people will hock their souls in exchange for a bagful of gold.

not too long ago, i read a news item in a broadsheet about a skillful and convicted forger living in style and luxury and having a palatial mansion and fleet of cars in an exclusive enclaves of the rich and famous.

and how about an alleged swindler now detained? she was previously rubbing elbows with a high-profile defeated politician who allegedly even publicly endorsed the investment company in a grand launching done in a five-star hotel. of course, there were other politicians and high government officials present for sure but since some of them are mere social climbers and free-loaders, their presence went unnoticed. the said high-profile politician later on denied having endorsed the company.

enjoying a highest credibility peak as a no-nonsense legislator, perhaps the mere presence of that politician lend credence to a shady company that enabled it to rake in multiple millions or even billions of hard-earned money of unsuspecting would-be investors (mostly average earner working class and retirees) trying so hard to make both ends meet by augmenting their income with fantastic dividend so hard to resist. of course, we later knew that their dreams turned into ashes when the scandal was finally discovered. the chief architect of the scandal was locked up and so was the money of hapless victims, which they will not recover even in their wildest dream.

  100. You bet, Anna. I used to charge more, but there are now these ex-Japayukis trying to compete with the professional, and they are charging less for a more inferior service of course. With my extra qualification now of course I am better off than any competitor there is in town. But I do like my work at the TV because I get 75 dollars to 85 dollars there per hour. At night the rate is higher because of the health hazard. Kahit nga walang bayad, puede pa rin sa totoo lang because of the first hand news I get, unedited and more factual. I ask for copies sometimes, especially if I take the job at home. I can produce my own documentary with those materials as a matter of fact.

I am buying a professional camera in fact to start this documentary thing. I was planning to form a club with some pinoy enthusiast but a friend has advised against it because of the Filipino bad attitude of not sharing really, kundi gusto magswapang! So, I guess, I’ll tie up with some more generous Japanese or foreign group in Tokyo for this new venture of mine.

I’m cutting on my make-up and use the money more wisely as a matter of fact. This is actually one thing I love about having the money and the means. You can get what you want. I can understand the feeling to have of anybody, even the Pidals but definitely NOT at the expense of the starving millions in the Philippines, and NO STEALING PLEASE!

I don’t gamble because it is against my religion. And sure do follow the tenets and teachings of our church in the best way I can. Mahirap nang magkamali!

FLASH REPORT: THAI COUP OUSTED THAI PM!

THE PHILIPPINES has expressed concern over the military coup in Thailand and urged Thais to resolve their “internal” issues in a peaceful manner.

Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra, a friend and role model of President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, was ousted overnight Tuesday while attending the UN sessions as the army took power in Bangkok.

Philippine ambassador to Bangkok, Antonio Rodriguez, said the coup was an “internal political issue and we should wait for the crisis to be resolved before we issue a statement.”

THIS SHOULD ENCOURAGE OUR OWN PEOPLE TO DO THE SAME AND OUST THIS GLORIA. IF THE THAIS CAN DO IT, WHY CAN’T WE SINCE GLORIA IS MUCH MUCH WORSE?

  105. Diego K. Guerrero Diego K. Guerrero

Former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra was popularly elected while bogus President Gloria Arroyo cheated all the way. The Thai military intervened when the civilian government failed to unite the people and stop corruption. Military intervention may have prevented possible civil war.

  106. npongco npongco

Diego, again the question is why could Thai succeed in ousting their PM while we cannot? Two reasons I could think of: Filipinos are disunited and Uncle Sam’s support of GMA.

was watching the intervw this morning at anc channel with the phil ambassdr in Thailand..hindi ko ata ma-accept ang nasabi nila – commnetators et al – pareho daw ang situation nila Thaksin at pandak bruha…pareho silang mas popular outside of the country capital but unpopular in Bangkok and MetroManila respectively!!!i beg to disagree…pandak bruha is popular kuno bec of the tongressmen and the military hoodlums doing the marketing for her..force-to-good or else they are branded as NPAs, AbuSayaff, JI, and what have you name-callings for the excuse of photo-ops and so that the color-coded tshirts meant for the wanted list will nt be wasted…baka nga naman masilip pa na may expenses for tshirts at matanong kung para sang tshirts, atlst yun ang excuse ng mga namahala sa PO..

anyways…mabuti ang Thailand they have a King who is nt corrupt..ito ang King/monarchy na mga low-profile talaga in the truest sense…well most monarchs are simple and quiet, hindi pareho ng pamilya cochon na ito, puro sinungaling at mahilig mang-angkin ng mga titulo – titulo ng pagka-santo, descendant ni alexander the great, rajah sulayman, etc..maybe title of right hand of lucifer ang meron sila pero pinapabago nila sa national archive!!!!!

  112. Tuwa ako talaga sa iyo, Soleil. Coming from the heart ang dating! Just talked to my Thai friend, a middle-class Chinese-Thai, whose ancestors came from Canton, and reason I guess why we hit off the first time we met during a meeting for interpreters at the Prosecutor’s Office in Yokohama, and she is one of those who welcomes the coup despite the claim that Thaksin is popular. The king it seems is favorable to the coup, likewise, with the majority clamoring for a change.

As an outsider, I would not want to make comments on the affair of countries whose people we do not even have that close relationship, but I kind of feel envious that the Thais have more soldiers who have guts to start a coup every time their people get fed up of corrupt politicians. One thing good about the Thais is that they all have respect and affection for their king, who is directly descended from their kings of old, unlike the bogus president who makes claims based on bogus information forged by some archiver who should have been charged with falsification of documents and forgery using even computers paid with taxpayers’ money.

If my friend says their government is bad, it must be bad. She actually has asked me when Filipinos would have the nerve to remove the bogus president listening to mine and other Filipinos’ claims against her.

I get the opportunity to get invited in fact to the celebration of the birthday of the king of Thailand in December, and one thing I notice is none of the overstaying and lawbreaking Thais get invited to the celebration. That is what I call discipline unlike the Philippine government who even encourage lawbreaking Filipinos to break the laws of their host countries as those lawbreakers who get invited to receptions when the bogus president comes for a visit just to increase the number of those willing to clap for her!!! Pwe!

  113. Hi folks,

This is the real coup d’état – nothing like the act of insubordination crap that Gloria and her military henchmen wanted to tell the world was “committed” by Lim or Querubin:

    Military coup in Thailand

    Tanks circle government offices
    TV and radio stations seized
    Provisional authority declared

The current AFP doesn’t have what it takes to launch a coup d’état – attempts yes, but heck, a real one? No!

The AFP is so splintered; its elements are loyal to ONE man, and then to another one, then another one, within a unit than to the overall chief of a unit. By the time, they’re well and ready to attempt to do anything remotely sensible, the junior officers have become senior officers who, instead of fighting for the good of their troops under their command or for the defence of their fellowmen, start fighting among themselves to grab the juciest post that could produce for the biggest loot.

Even the coup d’état stories that military folks of old liked to recount (during the Cory years) were of boy scout stuff…

They got to grow up into good soldiers first and professional soldiers next, in order to be able to launch a successful coup d’etat!

Gen Efren Abu, had he had the stomach, could have done it while he was CS AFP – the man had principles, alas, he didn’t have the exact combination, the moral and physical courage, to lead…

  114. Hey Soleil,

So, you worked with LeClub? Gosh, you must have been a very, very patient person. (Can’t stand some of the people in that “club”, and I’ve met two or three of them close up, arrogant shitheads some of them!)

The daughter of a friend of mine went to work for the big boss of LeClub for a 4 years I believe after she came back to Manila from Paris.

She often would speak to me of how arrogant and bitchy the guys were to her even if she was doing more than 72 hours a week work. My niece is working at the European School, whose boss is I believe a member of LeClub. I told her that if he even as much as scold her, to tell me and I would bite the head of the guy!

I told her that if he even as much as scolds her, to tell me and I would bite the head of the guy!

  116. Two of the top honchos of the club who had gone into business partnership together once approached me for a consultancy job or to act as brokers (I was then in charge of a European conglomerate for the region).

They were almost Filipinos coz they married and have made Manila their home – pretty professional people too on the whole. But when my friend’s daughter, who was like my real niece told me of how she was being treated (she had since left LeClub and in tears!) by these same guys (who didn’t know that the person who had been their exec assistant all around in Le Club is almost like a daughter to me), and even if I had wanted to hire them on behalf of the company I was working for, I refused their services.

The guys were pretty surprised (coz I was supposed to be pro-French and all that crap) coz instead, I signed up a local consulting firm with a Brit in it.

  117. I’m sorry Soleil, but I should have asked you first – before going into my usual bulldozing spill – whether you were or are married to a French man and member of LeClub.

It so happens that I know some of the local French guys in Pinas (and a few knew me when I was in charge of European conglomerate’s business in the region) – they knew that I could be as taray as they, the French guys in Manila, and those of them who somehow knew me personally, knew I never minced words when they stepped out of bounds. You see, I know the French so well and they can play their little arrogant, bitchy thing to others – but not to me!

In any case, many French expats in Manila are not all like the two of the members of LeClub I wrote about…

  118. Anna:

My mother calls these soldiers “sundalong kanin labas ang tumbong!” In short, bakla!

  119. You know Yuko, to me a bakla soldier as such is not a big deal. He could be as capable as the next viril, he-man soldier so to speak.

The last commanding general of the Philippine Coast Guard while it was still a unit of the Philippine Navy or just before it was transfered under the helm of DOTC, was gay. He was one of the more professional navy men I’ve ever met and intelligent to boot, not corrupt either. He had the respect of many of his counterparts in Europe as he had mine.

  120. Oops, this should read: That is what I call discipline unlike the BOGUS QUEENt who even ENCOURAGES lawbreaking Filipinos to break the laws of their host countries as those lawbreakers who get invited to receptions when SHE comes for a visit just to increase the number of those willing to clap for her!!! Pwe!

Is the Philippine ambassador in Thailand also an appointee. No wonder he will make such statement that is even void of clarity and truth, for at least, Thaksil had offered to step down the first time he was told to step down, but for some reason he changed his mind. For what he did to Thailand, at least, he earned the respect of many foreigners, but not the bogus president of the Philippines whose record in and out of the country is based on bogus statements, facts and figures issued by computer experts she has hired to produce bogus documents being peddled as genuine documents and statistics, and former newpaper editors and columnists like Tiglao and Bunye to do the made-up publicity that in overdoing them sometimes she even looks like a clown instead of a respected queen that she dreams of becoming!!! Taas talaga ng ambisyon. But at least, we know the EU politicians do not buy her propaganda, except perhaps for cockolded Prince Andrew!!!

  121. This, Yuko, seems to sum up Gloria’s record on paper:

“facts and figures issued by computer experts she has hired to produce bogus documents being peddled as genuine documents and statistics,”

Nakakaawa!

We have a new PM, Abe, the grandson of Nobusuke Kishi, a former PM of Japan and once the head of the Philippine Society of Japan. Abe is a die-hard nationalist. Hopefully, he will not push for the revision of our Constitution and change its 9th Article. Kundi patay na!!!

I like Japan with the military used only during times of natural calamities and disasters. Otherwise, everything is done by the police—catching criminals and lawbreakers because the soldiers are there to protect the country ONLY against foreign invaders, and help only in times of disasters but not even to keep peace and order but to help distribute relief goods, first aids, and nothing more. Bawal pang magdala ng baril!!!

Kaya imposibleng magkaroon kami ng coup dito! On the other hand, let’s see if the Philippine soldiers not on the payroll of Malacanang will have the guts to do a Thai!

  123. Chabeli Chabeli

It was interesting to watch and stay tuned with the events in Thailand…it IS an idea; it’s worth a try.

  124. npongco npongco

Another great difference between RP and Thailand is that the latter has a leader respected by people who is the country’s symbol…the King. If FPJ were still alive today, he could be the rallying point of the opposition. But he’s dead and no one is able to lead the country against this GMA. Susan could have done it but she refused. Erap still has lots of influence but the poor guy is still locked up. Besides, his once loyal allies are gradually leaving him for personal and selfish reasons.

  125. Chabeli Chabeli

Isn’t it also interesting that Gloria had a meeting with her generals in Malacañan after the coup d’etat in Thailand? Hee hee hee.

What IS weird is the military coming out on television expressing support for Gloria. I don’t think the other military in the region, or from other countries, are doing that–expressing support for their respective leaders. It goes to show that the possibility of the recent events in Thailand (coup d’etat) happening in the Philippines is high. I think it’s more like SOMEONE is very insecure and troubled by the recent events in Thailand.

  126. Chabeli:

It’s Gloria trying to convince herself that she has the support of majority of the Filipinos as represented by the generals whose loyalty she checked with peso filled envelopes after the wining and dining. As for the military sipsip appearing on TV, they think that they can brainwash Filipinos that way. Problem is Filipinos overseas for example do not even have time to watch the TV except on weekends especially when they are in countries where they work only 5 days a week.

Oops, I forgot, majority are working overseas as Super Atsoys and Atsays and are free only on Sundays for an hour or two to attend mass!!!

As for the majority poor, I wonder if they even have television sets to watch those sipsips make their pledge of allegiance to Ale Boba!

  127. What those generals are doing in fact is like what those generals of Hitler would do to brainwash those Germans to say “Heil, Hitler!” In the Philippines, it is more like “Hell, Gloria!”

  128. BTW, Anna, I did not know Jun Lozada was gay. He looked he-man to me. Ilongo kasi kaya malambing I guess. Bakla ang dating tuloy, but he has a wife and kids!

Someone told me bakla din iyan. Is that so?

  129. npongco npongco

Lacson has three sons one of whom was married to a TV celebrity. There goes another misleading information. Lacson is not and will never be gay. He’s just refined, reserved and soft spoken. If women like some here behave like male goons in their opinions, are they lesbians? And what has being an Ilonggo got to do with gays? Ellen is an Ilongga. The above are the kinds of comments that some untouchable members here always get away with.

yes ur right npongco, lacson is jst a mild-mannered person. my hubby had the chance to meet him way back during eraps time, asking some technical matters re telecomm..very patient and humble person..he was with him for almost 3 hours in the office in paoctf i think..people would be coming and going while he was there and he could here almost all conversations(nt too confidential of course) – decisions, opinions, etc – once can always judge someoone by the way they make commands. my hubby had the impression that he was a man of few words but precise decisions…of course 3 hours is nt enough to take some1s character in generalization, bt then, i guess it gives us an impression…

Soleil, Lacson is not a man of words but of action. I just don’t understand why someone here could even say Lacson’s a gay…and wihout children? Of course he has! Beware of people here who feed wrong information. That erroneous info stating that US permanent residents could perform jury duties is still fresh in my mind. No apology for the error and now another lie. I think with all the lies this Gloria say, there are some here who have also learned how to lie.

    npongco,

you said in another post we are good in making man a woman, right? the very first time it appeared lacson a gay was when the goons of malacanan ordered victor corpuz employ dirty tactics against him (lacson). remember corpuz’s expose some years ago? that stemmed during lacson’s days in the academy with corpuz as one of his instructors.

  138. npongco npongco

Lacson was made to wear woman’s clothing during a PMA party. I think that was an initiation or some kind of “dare” fun. But certainly, this guy is a man. But of course there are indeed gays in uniform. That’s not the point, though. Why should someone even lie saying he has no children?

  139. soleil soleil

mrivera..sa pagmumukha nalang, ke masabi pang ano si lacson, i thnk he has more essence than this corpuz..isa pa ang taong yan..nakalusot at nakalusot sa mga personality check..smaantalang ka-charing nya sila berroya na mga berdugo din sa juetng at droga…kaya sila magka escrima ni lacson, alam nila ang baho ng isa’t isa…although i still prefer lacson..si berroya laging amoy scotch, kahit ma mukha lang amoy scotch na…parang si rosebud ong(kuluntoy na rosebud nga lang hehehe)…
yuko..i thnk it sounds better like this “gloria in hell!, gloria in hell!” hahahha

soleil, sorry i saw your entry just now. i am not sure of the possibilities here for architects but i suppose the first thing you must do is to have your records accredited.the link there is http://www.nokut.no which is probably in norwegian but if you see a flag like the british flag and click on it, this can change to english.lately the norwegian architects had been winning international contracts like the library in egypt which has the largest collection of books and the museum in new york ground zero which practically may be an underground museum.a problem for you may be that a bachelor’s degree is considered here as unfinished degree(lower level they call it) such that you may be required to get additional courses which of course is in norwegian.i suppose that if you have a masters degree it will not be difficult to be accredited. architectural study at the universities here is one of the toughest to come in. i knew several grads from ust married to nurses who did not get the accreditation and will not study anymore but instead went to other easier jobs so in the end decided to move to canada.i know a guy who is a draftsman in an architecural firm but i donot know if he is an architect from the pinas.unfortunately also, engineers and architects are not categorised as lacking here unlike doctors, nurses, dentists where accreditation is more systematic in addition to the fact that they can be given a job seekers visa for 3 months but which can be renewed i suppose.i donot know if there is any norwegian architectural firm there but i knew several filipino engineers here who worked at norconsult in the pinas and was able to get a job here not as a civil engineer but in a lower level.it was much easier before.some have destroyed the reputation of pinoys here that it is more difficult to enter now but this is another story.i hope the link can help you and good luck.

So Anna, please tell your comadre to check her source before posting LIE here. Had I not immediately corrected it, people here might believe Lacson indeed has no children. It’s similar to an earlier post saying US Permanent Resident could act as jurors which is not true…only US citizens. Yet, we never get any apology from this person who continues to behave as if he (she?) knows everything.

Episode: June 10, 2006: Davao Sex Tape

i’A sex video is proving to be a big hit in Davao City. It has a cellphone and a DVD version. But what makes it sell is not only its pornographic content, but the identity of the people in it – the male is a local police official, and the female is married to a local military official.
