Bakit kaya galit ang kampo ni Mike Arroyo sa political ad ni Alan Cayetano, kandidato para senador ng Genuine Opposition, na pinapakita ang kanyang ginawa noong hearing sa kongreso sa kasong kanyang isinampa laban kay Alan?
Hindi naman niretoke ang kanyang mukha at kanyang sinabi. Talagang makatotohanan.
Ang galing nitong ad ni Alan. Pinapakita ang video clip ni Arroyo na buong yabang na nagsabi, “It’s none of your business” (Wala kang paki-alam).
Ito ay sinabi niya noong hearing sa House Ethics committee laban kay Cayetano. Sinabi kasi ni Alan na kung talagang sinsero siyang ipakita sa bayan na walang siyang ill-gotten wealth o kayamanang maaring nakuha sa illegal na paraan, dapat magbigay siya ng authorization na buksan sa publiko ang kanyang bank accounts dito sa Pilipinas bago pumunta sa Germany.
Pinagpipilit kasi ni Arroyo na wala siyang milyon-milyon na nakatago sa Germany . Hindi raw totoo ang sinabi ni Alan na may milyones siya sa German bank. Kumuha pa ng certification si Arroyo sa Germany na wala raw account na sa kanyang pangalan o kay Gloria Arroyo.
Akala naman ni Arroyo tanga ang sambayanang Pilipino na maniwala sa kanyang certification. Alam naman ng lahat na pwedeng ilagay sa ibang pangalan ang tinatagong pera.
Balik tayo sa political ad ni Alan.
Pinakita rin doon sa political ad ang sagot ni Alan, “No, it is the business of the Filipino people.” (Hindi, may paki-alam ang sambayanang Filipino.)
Talaga naman. May paki-alam ang Filipino, tayo lahat, sa nangyayari sa pamahalaan dahil pera natin ang ginagamit.
Sa mga survey na ginawa ng Pulse Asia at SWS, si Mike Arroyo ang isa sa pinaka-iinisan ng taumbayan. Kaya habang inaaway niya si Alan, lalo namang maraming may gusto sa batang kandidato para senador.
Kaya dirty tricks ang ginagawa naman nina Arroyo. Nandiyan ang hindi raw Filipino citizen si Alan, sabi ni Justice Secretary Raul Gonzales. Nandiyan rin na pinatakbo nila itong kargador sa pier sa Davao na si Joselito Cayetano at nagpalista sa Comelec ng pangagalng “Peter”.
Klarong “nuisance candidate” o pampagulo na kandidato itong si Joselito Cayetano ngunit ayaw i-disqualify ni Comelec Chairman Benjamin Abalos.
Itong kaso ni Joselito Cayetano ay isang nakakabahalang signal na si Abalos at ang Comelec ay hindi para sa malinis at patas na eleksyon. Ito ay nagpapahiwatig na galamay si Abalos nina Gloria at Mike Arroyo.
Gahibla na lang ang tiwala ng taumbayan sa Comelec. Sana hindi na hintayin ni Abalos na mapigtal pa.

I think because Alan Peter’s ad shows the ugliness of Pike Piggy Arroyo, his being uncouth and more, his stupidity.
Truth hurts and Alan pushed the right buttons to unmask the arrogance of the boor. I’m glad Alan exposed the abominable fat man and allow the people to see for themselves how the first (un)gentleman conducts himself. The boor is just full of hot air and the best that he can do is fart from his mouth.
If Fartso is not arrogant and can hold his temper and yabang, he’s nothing to complain about. Akala kasi niya ay kayang-kaya niya ang lahat ng tao. Puto porma lang naman ang masibang tao! Giri ang giri, wala namang ikasa! Buti at nakakita siya ng katapat kay Alan Peter na hindi natinag sa pananakot ng Pidals. “yan ang gusto ko sa kandidato, may yagbols opposite kay Fartso!
Sige, awayin pa nila si Alan, libreng advertisement. Ngayon pati ang mga mamamayan sa kanayunan ay kilala na si Alan. Sa susunod na survey ay number one na ‘yan.

Like Gloria, FARTSO seems to have have difficulty handling the truth. They both had this thing about rejecting the truth, in most cases, they would fight the truth. That is probably why they are stuck in the mud. After all, the truth does set one free. They still don’t get it, do they ?
However one looks at it, the old adage still holds true: Ang pikon, talo !

It really is a well-made video, opening with the arrogant flash of the Pig and ending with the same animal’s soprano voice-over. The brother did a fine job painting a fair picture of his fighter of a brother in stark contrast to the dark image portrayed by the villainous pachyderm.
If director Lino Cayetano is reading this, I would suggest the next clip show the now famous “putang ina” blurts of father, sons and lawyer in one synchronized screen.
That should remind the people that this is the family that claims lineage to St. Teresa de Avila.

Much as I abhor Benigno’s (and any other posters’) insults heaped on Filipinos in general, I, personally, find it challenging to think about the thoughts he posts.
He is laying out our collective weaknesses in his thoughts. A lot of them hurt to the bones- because they are true.
If his intention is to malign the Filipino (and I believe, it is not), I’d dismiss his thoughts as nothing but crap and concentrate on attacking his person elsewhere, not in this blog.
If his intention is to wake the Filipino up (and I believe it is) so the Filipino can take an honest look at himself and move forward from where he is, I will engage him in exchanges here in this blog. He came up with stirring questions we did not have any collective answers to. I find it disturbing that we are fighting and we do not know exactly what we are fighting for. Though, I am sure, we know who exactly we are fighting against.
Looking at the posts here, it looked like he is our Pidal and we are his Cayetano. Wouldn’t it be better if we start looking at him from a different perspective?
We hate Pidal so much because of his arrogance and and being “Pikon”. Let us not be like the Pidal we so much love to hate…
Why don’t they just scrap the Comelec? It is a useless agency, and a great burden on the Filipino taxpayers considering the amount of money paid to the greedy Commissioners who are in fact useless especially when their main function is only to cheat for the incumbent.
Unfortunately, there is no such thing as honest agency in the Philippines that can take over the function of keeping the elections there orderly as the kind of national bureau that is similar to the local government department in the Philippines that takes care of our elections here that do not in fact happen all the time.
Likewise, over here, the bureaucrats do not kowtow to the politicians or elected officials even when the departments are headed by ministers from the ranks of the politicians, because they know who their breadwinners are, the people who pay taxes from whence their salaries come!
It’s a good feeling to know clearly in fact the Prime Minister, for instance, is my public servant, and that he should know how to take my criticisms with some grain of salt. Otherwise, it would be best for him to just step down and give the job to someone more accommodating and willing to do the impossible for the people he is supposed to serve, not slave!!!
Likewise, over here, the military is not allowed to meddle in police work, even in the catching of Japanese or even foreign terrorists. It is the duty of the local police agencies under the supervision of the National Police Agency, which is more a policy-making body. The Japanese military is only for protecting Japan from foreign invasion, and amazingly, not even with a Nokor or Chinese nuclear threat.
In the Philippines, the military is now even functioning as the police and there is no more distinction in the function of the local police and the military that has become abusive, and has the prerogative to no longer just arrest and send criminals for prosecution to court, but to try and execute them without trial by directly shooting at them, thus, the present state of terror propagated by the bogus regime.
Why can Filipinos not see this now before the Philippines turn into another killing field like Cambodia, etc. where the “tulisans” and ordinary criminals are lumped up into lefftists and communists only because of sheer prejudice? If that is not stupidity, what is, especially considering the fact that the maldita bogus president connived in fact with the Commies when she grabbed power from the legitimate president of the Philippines, corrupt though he might be himself because of a culture of graft and corruption prevalent and much worse than before 1986!!!

I share your views about Benigno, Ka Enchong. I seldom read his posts in full bec he comes accross to me as condescending and that’s a turn off. I read one in full where he mentioned about ‘institutional reforms’ and i realized he has valid points. I think people here will appreciate him better if he would be more practical and specific. I find his comments too generalized and bookish. What, for instance, needs to be reformed, where to start, and maybe from there we can dwell on it.

The only threats to stability are those moron politicians we pay to sit behind their desk and legislate and instead spend their time in the streets inciting this and that mass action. To be fair, equally moronic people follow suit.

I have two suggestions (which, may also be funny to some) to, at least, start the fervor of this fight for a better Philippines:
– Require all Filipinos (7-year-olds and older) to memorize, understand and live up to the lyrics of “Lupang Hinirang” and the words of Preamble of the Philippine Constitution. (If I were Korina, I would ask my candidate guests to recite/sing a portion of “Lupang Hinirang”… no, itatanong ko na lang kung ano ang pamagat ng Pambansang Awit. Kapag “Bayang Magiliw” ang isinagot, hindi dapat iboto)
– Modify the educational system to give more emphasis on Philippine History and Culture from the Filipino perspective (not from Uncle Sam’s)

I agree that Glue has to be ousted, but we have to look beyond that I think that was Benigno what was saying as well. From experience, we did the same thing to Erap before. He was demonized, ousted and there came the beneficiary of it all -Glueria. We are doing the same to her now, so it goes in circle, with no end in sight. The country needs lasting solutions and not a band-aid one which is that of ousting Glue.
In my opinion, these politicians should tell the people what they intend to do to make a better Phil. I only know Trillanes has from his website. It is good to know, for instance, that he will look into ways by which the Commission On Audit can be more effective as a watchdog of the government. Other politicians should have specific objectives too, of what do they intend to achieve, not for themselves but for the country. If they do not have yet, i think they might need some advice from any of us here.

In short, if Fatso were Japanese, he could automatically be disbarred. He will be good subject for the morning, afternoon and evening talk shows to force him to step down together with the wife, who would be forced to take responsibility, too.

artsee, actually the 0 in benign0 name is not the capital letter O, but it,s the numerical 0 as in zero, nil, nadah, or in our street lingo, bokya. Nuong una, akala ko din letra iyon, but after typing the letter O and number zero using the same font, it became obvious that it is indeed benign Zero, which was the character of Ben Kingsley in one suspense thriller movie of the same title.
