History in the making

It’s a busy morning for journalists today.

Today at 10:30 a.m., Antonio Trillanes IV, who ran for senator under the Genuine Opposition will be proclaimed winner in the May 14 elections.

To say that this is sweet victory for the detained Navy officer (he was deemed resigned from military service when he filed his certificate of candidacy last February) is an understatement. It’s a classic example of triumph over overwhelming odds. It’s inspiring. It’s redeeming.

Judge Oscar Pimentel of Makati Regional Trial Court 148 which is trying the coup d’etat case against him and other Magdalo officers in connection with the July 23 Oakwood “mutiny” and the military for his security, has granted the latest senator-elect permission to attend his porclamation.

Technically, he was proclaimed yesterday by the Comelec commissioners sitting as National Board of Canvassers. But considering what he had to go through and considering the significance of his victory, his formal proclamation is historic.

While Trillanes is being proclaimed at the Palacio del Gobernador in Intramuros, over at the Sandiganbayan in Quezon City former President Estrada will once again be at the center of the drama as the prosecution and the defense lawyers tangle for the last time in a summation of their positions.

Elected in 1998, Estrada was driven out of power almost three years later by an elitist mob led by his vice president, Gloria Arroyo, who went on to plunder the nation’s resources more brazenly to stay in power.

If public sentiments are to be considered, Estrada has been forgiven by the public. He enjoys a plus 30 trust rating. His accuser, Chavit Singson, was rejected when he attempted to run for senator in the recent election.

Another trial of national importance would be taking place at about the same time. At Camp Capinpin, the trial of 27 military officers led by Maj. Gen. Renato Miranda resumes in the absence of a temporary restraining order from the Supreme Court which they had soughtto prevent what they expect to be a kangaroo trial with AFP chief Hermogenes Esperon as the accuser and the final judge.

General Miranda with Brig. Gen.Danilo Lim, Col. Ariel Querubin, Col. Orlando de Leon, Col. Januario Caringal, Col. Armando Bañez, Lt. Col. Custodio Parcon, Lt. Col. Achilles Segumallian, Lt. Col. Nestor Flordeliza, Lt. Col. Edmundo Malabanjot and 18 junior officers are being tried for a number of violations of the Articles of War including mutiny in connection with the reported withdrawal of support from a bogus president in February 2006.

They were charged with violations of the 67th Article of War despite the recommendation of the panel that conducted a pre-trial investigation that there was “lack of factual and legal bases.”

Take your pick which historic event are you going to attend.

You said it, Ellen. It’s 2:30 am here. I can’t sleep because I am so excited about this victory that we do share. Lalo ka na at si Ka Mentong, I am sure. Hopefully, I can go to the TV studio and see the first batch of video clips from Manila on this monumental event, the first in Philippine history!!!

    Ate Ellen

It’s MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! As Antonio Trillanes IV is formally proclaimed today as a duly elected Senator of the Philippines, I would like to report to you our mission is accomplished for the privileged to have campaigned hard although silently for Senator Trillanes. I took a leave from the blog with the promise to return after May 14 elections but my reporting back has been dependent on the day our man will be finally proclaimed.

To all my friends-bloggers here, let’s also give big hooray to Ms. Ellen Tordesillas. Some of you may not have noticed it but Ate Ellen posted here asking me to read my email. It was about the campaign materials for Trillanes she asked me to get from her residence. As I was already in the field, I did not personally went to Ate Ellen’s residence but instructed my two sons to get in touch with her and get the materials. Her sincerity in helping this man Trillanes has inspired me and my sons a lot to go all out campaigning with our own funds. What we did was replicated in many places, people volunteering, a real people power came to fore. We will read so many stories of this kind in the days to come.

On this note, I am also bidding a goodbye. I may not have time for blogging anymore because I will be working in a rural town where my heart really belongs. Goodbye to all my friends, Pareng Cocoy, Pareng Mrivera, Anna de Brux, Ystakei, Manay Chi, Tongue Twisted, DKGerrero, Nelbar, Elvira Sahara and so many others I can’t remember all at this point for having been away for a long time.

But I won’t forget the blow out of Manay Chi. Pangako mo, di ba?

  3. Ellen,

You pick the trial of the gallant men. We’ll just watch the videos that will be available publicly on Senator Trillanes’ proclamation.

On the other hand, maybe, you can delegate someone to attend the trial of the gallant men , and just attend the Trillanes’ proclamation. I am pretty sure Sonny would love to see you there with the gang. I hope Soleil, Skip, Tongue T, et al can be there, too.

  4. Just read the article on the Assperon. Gosh, this guy is intolerable! He is sourgraping too much as he sounds more like he is green with envy at Senator Trillanes.

The Cavaliers like the three Musketeers of old written by Alexandre Dumas should start getting all the evidences now to have this sipsip prosecuted for cheating with Garcillano in 2004 for the unano to be declared winner. That will surely make our day!

  5. Joeseg:

Will miss you. But I know you will always be with us in spirit. Pagbutihin mo rin!

SENATOR ELECT A. TRILLANES- MY HEARTFELT CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU. YOU ARE INDEED OUR HOPE! And to your wife, children, Mom and the rest of your family- CONGRATULATIONS AND A BIG THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR SACRIFICES. JOSEG and the other silent volunteers A MILLION THANKS TO YOU (as Pilita would sing it) and to ELLEN, BUGAL KA GID KANG ANTIQUE (do they or can they give the same award twice to the same person?)and personally BING-GO we are proud of you.!

joseg: “the rural town where your heart belongs..” I hope it is in Antique? But you addressed Ellen as “Ate” but wherever it is “may your tribe increase!”

  8. My latest post is a tribute to Trillanes, I’m sure this will make everyone smile 🙂

Joeseg, bakit ngayon ka lang?! 🙂

We have our hopes for a better Philippines with Sonny’s win!

But with the dominant opposition in the senate, mahirap siyang makalabas ng Pilipinas para pumunta sa Australia o saan mang lupalop. He has to pay for his big role in the Hello Garci Scandal and all other stuff he had been illegally doing to please the tiyanak.

Ellen, you really did and still do a great job with Trillianes and with the other incarcerated officers! Thank you for your standing by these officers and soldiers! They would have been forgotten had it not been for your unending coverages of the events unfolding at all times!

  14. chi chi

With Trillanes’ win, the incarcerated military officers have been assured also of the people’s trust and confidence.

If I were to choose which historic event I’d go to, it would be the trial of the 27 gallant men because they need all the support that we can offer to get through this phase of their lives. If I could emanate in two places at the same time… I’d attend Sonny’s proclamation, too! 🙂

President Erap is well taken cared of by a battery of brilliant lawyers. I wish him the best of luck. Panalo ka rin, Erap!

  15. parasabayan parasabayan

Chi, the proclamation of Trillianes is coinciding with the court hearing of the 27 officers this morning. I guess the supporters of these gallant men will have a tough time deciding which way to go. Whichever way the supporters would go, I am pretty sure these men (either Trillianes or the 27 officers) would understand. They all represent the same aspirations we have. More power to all of them!

  16. parasabayan parasabayan

Joeseg, good luck to your new undertaking. It was when I travelled extensively for about a year in the rural areas of Region 2 that had started my deeper love for rural folks and our natural heritage. As a matter of fact I ended up buying some acreage up north to one day enjoy the rural life as well…only when the times will be safer and we will again enjoy living!

  17. Joeseg,

Been an honor and a privilege to have met you in Ellen’s blog… Congratulations to you too and vaya con Dios!

    Yuko,

Right! There are actually 4 honoured Musketeers in A Dumas’ novel, Les Trois Mousquitaires – Portos, Aramis, Athos and D’Artagnan (the youngest who came from the Pyrenées) and are represented today by the 4 Cavaliers in the Senate!

Cardinal Richelieu is represented by either Edong Ermita or SiRAULO Gonzales (gosh, believe me, this comparisson is killing me because Richelieu although depicted by Dumas in his novel as the ultimate baddie, was in reality AN INCREDIBLY INTELLIGENT MAN AND AN EXCELLENT WARRIOR-SOLDIER and personally knowing Edong Ermita, I can guarantee you that Edong would not even reach the heel of Richelieu in intellect and courage. Sige na nga, si Edong na lang but never, ever Gonzales who is siraulo which Richelieu never was!)

President Arroyo’s net worth grew by P9.3 million from P79.28 million in 2005 to P88.58 million last year, based on her statement of assets, liabilities and net worth (SALN).

Would be good to compare her SALN of the previous years to make a computation of how she reached this phenomenal NET WORTH! NET WORTH amounting to almost 2 million dollars?!

Wow! Politics is really good business, eh?

  20. Just occurred to me that Max Soliven had also supported Trillanes.

  24. (Maraming baby sitters dito na OFWs who are making the same amount every year here, tax free pa yan dahil illegal so not declared sila!)

  25. But I bet you these baby sitters will never be able to declare a net worth of almost 2 million dollars even if they work 24 hours a day x 7 days and not even after enduring 3 presidential terms unless they win in the lottery!

  26. chi chi

Huh, 15K dollars lang yr/maximum! Roughly equivalent to Pnp750,000.00. Where on earth did she get those loads and loads of money?!

It was an honor and privilege to have these exchanges with you. Hasta la vista, baby!

  28. TonGuE-tWisTeD TonGuE-tWisTeD

    Ellen,
Since it’s history in the making, I’m sure you do need to be in Sonny’s proclamation. It would be you who should represent us in that sweet moment. I personally think it would be enough reward for us “secret” volunteers who in our own little way contributed to this monumental triumph of good over evil.

And while you’re at it, why don’t you check out Abalos’ body language at the precise moment he makes the announcement, heh?

  29. rose rose

Chi: I also wondered how her networth came to that much 88+mil. Mabibili ba ang mga bahay owned by one associated with killings, stealing, etc.? At may titira ba? Kailangan pa iba exorcise to rebuke the demons..at gastos pa. Oh well—

I’m happy with Trillanes’ priorities. Sige, Sonny. Baka makita pa nating muli si Jonas Burgos at iba pa.

MANILA, Philippines — Now that he has been elected senator, should the Armed Forces of the Philippines have anything to fear?

“They should not fear anything if they are doing their duties … I am not a vindictive person and I don’t take things personally. I will only do what I should do,” Antonio Trillanes IV, 35, told reporters Thursday.

But among the issues that the former Navy lieutenant plans to tackle in the Senate is one that could put him on a collision course with the AFP– the killing and forced disappearance of leftist activists./ http://www.inquirer.net.ph

“If he (Trillanes)becomes chairman of the defense committee, of course he can summon [Armed Forces Chief of Staff Gen. Hermogenes] Esperon to appear under pain of being cited for contempt,” Lacson said.” (heheheh!)

  33. Saw the picture of our young Senator during his recent presscon. Pogi, and looking really confident but none of the arrogance of the criminal calling herself “President” and her sidekick, the guy who acts more like a butler than a military chief. Pwe! Iyan ang kahanga-hanga.

May God continue to inspire him! CONGRATS SENATOR TRILLANES AND ALSO TO SENATOR KOKO PIMENTEL na alam ko namang kaya niyang dalhin.

“Esperon allows Trillanes to attend proclamation”.

Nagpapatawa itong si Assperon! Para namang meron siyang power over the people’s choice ngayon!

  37. This is really an event that no one can forget lalo na iyong masigasig na nangampanya para kay Senator Trillanes. Golly, ang bayanihan that we all proved is very possible that Filipinos can do given the right incentive and opportunity. A lot of us, must be feeling something inside being made to feel brave and fearless as we berate the system under the criminal whom we now can look forward to will definitely be removed. Abaw, look at all those coming out now in support of our favorite senator. Lumalakas na ang mga loob!

I like what Senator Trillanes said about those crooks who must be peeing in their pants. Sabi niya, “Kung wala silang ginagawang masama, ano ang ikatatakot nila!” And then he added that he definitely will not show any kindness to those who do! Iyan ang tunay!!!

Mabuhay ka Sonny! Hope you’ll remain humble and focus all the time. God bless you!

  38. Chi,

Maaliwalas ang mukha niya, and full of hopes.

  41. Love to sabat here, but trabaho muna ako.

  42. Oo nga lang iyong may posas, Chi. Parang inang bayang nakaposas, remember? Para lalong sumiklab ang damdamin ng taumbayan! Cry of Manila ang mangyayari or Cry of the Senate pag nagkataon!

  43. chi chi

Yuko, mas madrama kung naka-posas ha! Naka-barong daw at sinamahan ni Sen Biazon. Mas guapo siguro ‘no?

Could the padakekang be watching?!

The Commission on Elections proclaimed Friday Genuine Opposition candidate Antonio Trillanes IV as senator of the Republic of the Philippines.

  45. skip skip

Amid rousing cheers from the gallery, Antonio Trillanes IV was proclaimed as Senator of the Republic.

Sonny was visibly in no mood to pose with the vipers who had tried but failed to shut him out of the Top 12. The knaves in black robes all gave their own versions of a deferential gesture to the new solon wishing perhaps that Sonny would look kindly upon them when the Senate hearings come.

Sorry sphincters, you had your chance to set this country right and you all blew it.

    Hail to the Senator!

Trillanes was proclaimed senator at 11:28 a.m., Friday!

I hope Trillanes sits on either the blue ribbon committee or appointments.

  48. chi chi

    Skip,

Thanks, that’s what I’d like to know. 🙂

  49. Just watched the proclamation of Senator Trillanes on GMA News. I could not help the tears of joy as I watched him hold that document confirming the position his people have given him that he does not owe to those crooks who up to the last minute were trying to thwart the Will of God and the people.

Love you guys who stood by him—heard familiar names reported there to give him the support. Buti nga palang wala siyang kasama dahil very dramatic ang dating!

It will be the same with Koko Pimentel, baka akala niya! Taragis talaga ang kawalanghiyaan ni Assperon ano? Living up to his position to the hilt as butler of the stinky unano at the palace by the murky river!!!

Mabuhay ka Senator Trillanes! I’m off for now.

  50. Chi,

Kita ko ang proclamation. Nakakaiyak talaga! Worth all the posts in this blog.

Thanks to Ellen, too. Over and out.

As historic events unfold today to include the proclamation of Trillanes as the 11th senator and the ongoing trial of the Scout Rangers and Marines at Camp Capinpin, I will leave the country temporarily as part of my job. I find myself smilingly sadly though of what fate has done to me and Arlene Orejana Trillanes(a classmate at the University of the Philippines and is currently taking her masters in Australia), as well as the rest of the wives and loveones of these soldiers. Yet, I believe that everything has a higher purpose for whatever sacrifices that the families and relatives have to undergo. For those who believe in the philosophy of the patriotic soldiers that are still behind bars, we would like to thank you for all your support, as we continue to fight against the oppressive administration.

Ah, nothing like the sweet taste of victory ! It is moments like this that make the fight all worth while..

Congratulations to Senator Trillanes. You gave many of us HOPE when it seemed all was lost. You showed many of us that no matter how difficult, the TRUTH is still the strongest foundation of a democracy.

As for those who stood behind Senator Trillanes, most especially MS. ELLEN: We won, too!

    (UPDATE) Trillanes proclaimed

    By Erwin Oliva

Last updated 12:18pm (Mla time) 06/15/2007

MANILA, Philippines — Former Navy lieutenant Antonio Trillanes IV has been proclaimed senator by Comelec chairman Benjamin Abalos Sr.

Trillanes becomes the 11th senator-elect after the May 14 elections and will be the youngest senator of the 14th Congress.

The opposition candidate garnered 11,138,067 votes, excluding those from Maguindanao.

He is also the fourth graduate of the Philippine Military Academy in the Senate. The others are Senators Rodolfo Biazon and Panfilo Lacson, and senator-elect Gregorio Honasan……………..

Trillanes arrived at the Comelec from Marine headquarters in Fort Bonifacio, where he is detained, under heavy guard and handcuffed to two Marine escorts.

I’m not a sentimental person but i can’t stop shedding tears of disbelief and joy watching our man holding his proclamation paper this morning.

Thanks again Chi, Ystakei, Skip, AdeBrux, Ellen and all unpaid but loyal Ellenville bloggers for making this one possible. You too are phenomenal!

    ‘DI NA NATIN LULUBAYAN ‘TO!!!

  59. Sampot Sampot

    Mabuhay ka, Joeseg!

    Ingat.

  60. Now, time to get CRACKING as they say in the British military!

He is not the state to be making those statements that he arrogantly stated. He is still under the state, gago, because the Philippines is not at war nor is there any declaration that the Philippine government is now a military junta. This guy should be put to jail for his contempt of court, and rule of law! Ummmmmph, gusto ko nang magmura!

Balik ulit ako sa trabaho. Medyo nag-iinat-inat. At least, dito sa lugar a puede akong sumilip sa Internet.

  62. ‘Tang….ummmph, Esperon sipsip magpakulong ka na ulol! Sorry, Ellen, can’t help it while hearing the news on DZBB and the video clips I am translating. Ha….yup talaga ang animal na ito!

    From Nick’s site:
“Abalos said that it might be too expensive for all 66 Maguindanao election officers — from the original 22 who have been served subpoenas — to come to Manila.

To this suggestion, the exasperated Abalos replied; “Comelec does not have enough funds to get them all [the election officers] here.”

That last statement, there is the controversy in my view. They cannot afford 66 Magundanao Election Officers to fly to Manila, but apparently they had the money to declare a failure of election, declare a special elections, prepare more election documents, require teachers and other election officials to set up elections as well as canvassing, and probably send some military battalions to guard the elections.

Apparently they could afford the much more expensive Special Elections, but cannot afford 66 plane tickets.”

    ————————

    Nick,

Abalos and KUMOLEK are really UNBELIEVABLE and SSSOOOOOOO FUNNY!!!

  64. Sampot Sampot

History in the making… indeed for a jailed Navy Lieutenant who just turned Senator.

    But for Assperon and Glueria?

    … they’ll be “history” soon!

  65. chi chi

Esperon said that he can’t understand why people voted for Trillanes!

It’s very clear that Assperon was blocking Trillanes proclamation by requiring him to get permission to leave his cell while Makati trial court had already granted him temporary leave.

  66. Chi,

Esperon has ONLY GLORIA & GUNGGONG TO BLAME in addition to himself for the victory of Trillanes – hehehe! I posted a comment in the succeeding thread about it.

  67. God is great! He makes everything beautiful in His time!

    Congratulations, Ginoong Senador Trillanes!

Here’s hoping that Senator Trillanes will show the right way as a Senator to his colleagues in the House and the Upper Chamber.

Do not mind, assperon and gunggong! Mahilig lang magpa-Photo-Op yang mga yan…just like their boss na bubuwit!

Laking inggit lang nila, kasi si Sen Sonny will now be addressed, “Sir”….He-he-he!…..

    Hee-haw!

Mukhang walang balita kay Gunggong lately, ah… whatever happened to him?

    Nalulon na ba ang dila?

  68. chi chi

    taipan88,

  69. chi chi

Yes, Anna. I read na and tututs na tututs ang lahat ng sinabi mo doon.

  70. chi chi

    Invictus,

I’m going to miss your posts for “a while”, Good Luck and God Bless!

Take care and thank you, too.

  71. Invictus,

    Best of luck!

  72. Gosh, that was indeed a touching scene and a refreshing experience for a lot of us watching our favorite senator receive his credential as a new Senator of the Republic of the Philippines. I could not help feeling emotional when I was translating a short comment by one soldier (name not mentioned) when he said that Trillanes’ victory means victory to all of them doing the dirty, difficult and dangerous works in the military but never seem to be appreciated.

  73. Kaya inggit na inggit si Assperon kay Trillanes, baka may usap-usapan na kukumbidahin ni Unano si Trillanes sa Malacanang for being the new hero dahil may ugali ang isang ito na mahilig magnakaw ng eksena, isa pa iyong aling sabog ang utak.

Nag-lecture pa ng mga neophyte sa Senado. At least iyong mga neophyte na lumabas are not scattered brains like her, lalo na itong new hero ng mga pilipino!

Nagbabanta pa si Assperon. Dalawang court daw under si Trillanes. Gago ba siya? Hindi na military si Trillanes. Bobo!

  74. Ellen,

Just read the tribune and the remarks of Esperon:

He also stressed that he will not allow the transfer of the detention facility of Trillanes or place him under the custody of the Senate to allow him to assume his duties as a legislator.

He also said that Trillanes will not be allowed to put up his office inside his military detention facility, adding that the move will need an approval from court authorities before it can be done.

“It will run counter to the apolitical nature of the military. Imagine the military, an apolitical institution will become an office of a senator?” Esperon said.

First: Esperon must be told in no uncertain terms that if and when the Senate decide (with the agreement of Sen Trillanes) to place the new senator in custody which could be done during a Senate session where the new senator is in attendance, there’s NOTHING, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING his armed goons can do about it except to invest the Senate building with arms, bombs, and cannons (attack mode)! Esperon is speaking out of his backside again.

Second: An office could mean a desk, writing paraphernalia, a word processor, a telephone, a fax and a photocpier. If he refuses to supply an elected official with these paraphernalia, he will be obstructing a Senator in the perfomance of his duties; Esperon might find that in that case, he being in the military and therefore subservient to civilian authority might do himself great disfavor because legally, he could be hauled in by the Senate (if the rest of the Senators are bad) and be accused of physical obstruction and harassment of some kind – if that happens, this will be a fight that he cannot hope to win. Stupid in the extreme! (Gago kaya di manalo sa guerra against 7,100 slipper donning guerillas ng NPA!)

Third: He is speaking absolute shit! What does he mean by “It will run counter to the apolitical nature of the military. ” ESPERON IS THE LIVING PROOF THAT THE MILITARY IS NOT APOLITICAL. The appointment of an officer to become chief of staff AFP is the MOST POLITICAL event in the history of the armed forces precisely because the PRESIDENT HAS THE ULTIMATE PREROGATIVE TO APPOINT AN OFFICER TO THAT POSITION EVEN IF THAT OFFICER IS ONLY A COLONEL! In other words, top positions in the military, i.e., commanding general army, commanding general air force, flag officer in command navy and chief of staff are ALL POLITICAL APPOINTEES.

In other words, Esperon is full of shit! He doesn’t know what he is talking about – he should swallow his tongue when he says the military is apolitical! BALONEY! Cannot be APOLITICAL, follow the logic you dumb banana eating monkey!

  75. Ooops sorry, (if the rest of the Senators are BRAVE enough to haul Esperon!)

  76. NOT APOLITICAL because the PRESIDENT HAS THE ULTIMATE PREROGATIVE TO APPOINT AN OFFICER TO THAT POSITION EVEN IF THAT OFFICER IS ONLY A COLONEL even if that appointment means bypassing that colonel’s superiors! Just look at Ver who was appointed CSAFP against FVR!

Obviously, by tradition, most Philippine presidents have tried to choose from among the serving CGs to appoint his-her Chief of Staff AFP.

Even Cory Agquino selected Lt General Boy Abadia, CGPA against senior officer and CG PAF Lt General Abadia (Boy’s older brother too and upperclassman in PMA) because that position is political!

Same with FVR who chose Lt Gen Boy Enrile to become CSAFP (replacing Boy Abadia) over Vice Admiral Billy Marcelo, FOIC PN (Class 61) and General Rodriguez CG PAF…

CS AFP position is a political appointment and no matter what shit comes out of Esperon’s mouth that the military institution is APOLITICAL, he must not be believed: PROOF, HE IS A POLITICAL APPOINTEE; he wasn’t even qualified for the job but Gloria told Senga that she would appreciate it if the Board of Generals recommended Esperon at once to replace Senga so that she didn’t have to send back the papers back and forth (presidential prerogative when the president dislikes the Board of Generals’ recommendations, he-she could send back the papers ad vitam eternam!)

  77. Invictus, good luck!

  78. Diego K. Guerrero Diego K. Guerrero

AFP chief General Assperon is still clueless what the real pulse of the Filipino people. They want Gloria and her ilks out. AFP spokesperson Bakero refused to call Senator-elect Trillanes as ‘Honorable’. He wants to address him simple Mister Senator. The corrupt AFP leadership cannot accept defeat. Shame on them!

    Cuffed Trillanes proclaimed senator

    Excerpts Daily Tribune 06/16/2007

Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Chief of Staff Gen. Hermogenes Esperon Jr., who has shown displeasure at the victory of senator-elect detained Antonio Trillanes IV, former Navy junior officer, pursued his goal of humiliating Trillanes further and showing utter disrespect for the new senator of the republic’s office by having him brought to the Commission on Elections (Comelec) building in handcuffs.

Trillanes arrived for the ceremony in Manila in handcuffs, flanked by armed guards after being given temporary leave from a military camp where he is in detention. The handcuffs were removed just before the start of the ceremony.

  79. Diego:

Esperon clueless? I doubt! Nagtatanga-tangahan lang iyan para makalusot. Pero ang mangyayari diyan lalong matatanga! Daming nagalit sa ginawa ni Esperon. The guy must be really stupid. Ipinakita niyang wala siyang respeto sa batas, at hindi niya naiintindihan na si Trillanes ay binoto ng mga pilipino, and therefore, it is more or less a vote of approval and acquittal of his case titled “People of the Philippines Versus Antonio Trillanes IV.” It is not “People of the Philippines JUDGE IN FAVOR of Antonio Trillanes IV.”

Intiendes, inutil? (The philippines is not under a military junta. It is a democracy, supposed to be anyway.) Bakayaroo!

  80. Ooops, the last paragraph above is intended for the inutile at the AFP—Mrs. Unano’s Cheat of Staff!

    Pareng Joeseg:
I am so pleased about your mission accomplished and I am very proud to have a friend like you, by the time I have a chance to come back to our country I will be looking for you, karaho ka.I know Ellen knows where to find you then, I can ask her. Sure! I’ll be missing you, but, please do a good noble intention where your heart belong.Tunay kang talaga!

    Pareng Mrivera;
I was out for a while because I have an important things to attend, I was in court for a hearing, regarding a discrimination lawsuit I filed a case against my employer, although they are offering me a monetary settlement for me, money is not an issue, I will proceed my case to trial. To teach them a lesson that they could not just violate anyone’s right.

    Chi;
Masaya ako kay Trillanes at Koko, maybe,I’ll be out for a while for a trial.Pero pasilip-silip ako sa inyo.Tongue and the rest—I’ll be back—

  82. Emilio_OFW Emilio_OFW

“Comolec does not have enough funds?” Baka maynagkaw sa bulsa niya? Ang sabi nga ni Bedol- “I don’t know how they were stolen?”

  84. xanadu xanadu

@Rose: Ang sabi nga ni Bedol- “I don’t know how they were stolen?”

    It’s INCREBEDOL!

  85. rose rose

Seguro napadaan muna sila sa palasyo by “the murky river” at sinabon by the banks of the the filthy river. Anong baho noon. It must have been nauseating.

  86. Cocoy:

Good luck in your trial! I know the feeling. I was once a victim of racial discrimination in the USA being called derogatorily as “a Jap”!!!

I never had such experience in Japan even when Filipino women here are called derogatorily as “Japayuki” which means “prostitutes” because it is not directed to me! But all the same, it is hurting! I can’t blame the Japanese though for it. I blame more the pimps in the Philippine government for it.

  87. Mrivera Mrivera

    pareng cocoy,

(he he heh, patawa lang)

i know you can triumph whatever trial you are facing. we’ll all pray for it!

  88. nelbar nelbar

I would like to share this reaction of mine in the Media in Focus(cheche lazaro) I watched yesterday. Guest were Teddy Boy Locsin and Rissa Hontiveros Baraquel.

Romantacize EDSA 1 and EDSA 2

The picture of Abalos raising the hands of Trillanes yesterday was in contrast of what we witnessed last week for the proclamation of 10 Senators.

    This is the People’s choice!

    Yuko and Pareng Mrivera at pati na rin sa lahat ng pare at mare dito;

Thanks for your support, I am inspired to take my case to trial, I will not settle for small slice and I will take the whole pie or no pie at all. I’ll tell you all the case story when it’s over, for me, it is an indication of victory because the defendant is settling the case with a substantial amount of money.–I will be missing you all for a while and I hope you will always keep the fire burning hangang sa maubusan ng gasul na sabi ni Tongue.

  91. TonGuE-tWisTeD TonGuE-tWisTeD

    Cocoy,
Tama iyan!
