A warning to Abalos

Update: Abalos to critics: they can jump to hell

It’s too bad that the Metro Manila Council resolution banning rallies and motorcades in Metro Manila major thoroughfares passed last week will not be taking effect until 15 days of publication of the implementing rules and regulations.

Tomorrow’s motorcade rally by the Concerned Citizens Group would have been a good test case.

Tomorrow, at 9 a.m.. the CCG will express their “outrage and disgust over the blatant, frontal cheating maneuvers in Maguindanao” by holding a motorcade from Liwasang Bonifacio to the Comelec office in Intramuros.

They will be demanding that the Comelec proclaim Koko Pimentel the 12th winner in the senatorial elections. They are suspicious of Comelec’s delaying tactics, as if giving Team Unity’s cheating operators time to complete the new set of manufactured election documents to enable Miguel Zubiri to dislodge Pimentel.

In the press conference sponsored by A Peaceful Organization at the Manila Polo Club last Friday, where the Genuine Opposition rallied behind Pimentel, Makati Mayor Jejomar Binay warned of a crisis if Comelec and Malacañang insist on “electing” Zubiri with the use of manufactured Maguindanao votes. “Everyday the crisis is heightened. They have to end this.”

Could Comelec’s delaying tactics have something to do with text messages going around:

“A debate is raging in the Palace whether to force a Zubiri win. GMA not keen just as she didn’t act on Recto’s pleas. Fears it may stir passions.”

“Maguindanao copy they are waving is listed as Cotabato for per ID number. Bedol burned all copies .He panicked.”

“Plan is to proclaim Migz, let Koko protest. Ermita heads the group that’s pushing it. Lots of money poured.”

The motorcade tomorrow will deliver the message to Gloria Arroyo, Executive Secretary Eduardo Ermita, Comelec chairman Benjamin Abalos and his fellow commissioners and Zubiri that the days of fake presidents and senators are over.

This was the message of Sen.-elect Antonio Trillanes IV read in last Friday’s press con. Trillanes said: “The whole world knows now that Attorney Koko Pimentel is the true choice of the Filipino people for the 12th place in the recent senatorial election. Both Chairman Abalos and Congressman Zubiri know that for a fact. Moreover, the people of Maguindanao definitely did not vote 12-0 in favor of Team Unity. Again, both chairman Abalos and Congressman Zubiri know that for a fact. Therefore, we would definitely not take lightly, any move by Comelec to desecrate the Maguindanaoans’ sacred right of suffrage by canvassing the manufactured results from the said province.”

Trillanes, whose stunning victory despite tremendous odds is seen as the ultimate protest vote against the Arroyo administration, warned: “In case Comelec has not noticed it yet, the tides are changing. This is your last chance to do the right thing.”

Genuine Opposition lawyer Sixto Brillantes warned Abalos and the other Comelec commissioners that they could be impeached if they insist on canvassing the fraudulent certificates of canvass that gave the Team Unity candidates a 12-0 win in Maguindanao over the GO.

GO spokesman Adel Tamano, a Muslim, said the manufactured Maguindanao votes do not reflect the mandate of the Maguindanaons. Dislodging Pimentel from the wining circle on the basis of fraudulent documents would be “a betrayal of public trust and a basis for impeachment,” he said.

Brillantes said a 12-0 win may not be impossible but 19 GO candidates getting zero in the whole province is improbable.

Sen Panfilo Lacson also warned Abalos against taking as official the manufactured results because they have in their possession copies of election returns showing that a number of the 19 who supposedly got zero, actually got votes.

“This will blow up to their faces,” Lacson said.

After a few “corona extras” (mexican beers), something came up to my mind; why don’t we outsource the Conduct of Election to a Foreign Service, like other countries outsourcing their IT to the Philippines?
Get rid of Abalos, Bedol and the rest and maybe hire the man like JP Kingsley to put up his own electoral body hiring locals, under the management of foreign Executives and maybe we will save a lot at the same time. Since most cheating, and frauds were done by Comelec personnel anyways, and others under the implicit and explicit knowledge of them, then why not?

The pot is boiling really hot now! Gloria BEWARE!!!

  3. Not only should the Schizoglo beware but the one who is now with his head on the block is Abalos.
This fool Abalos retires long before the next election, that means that as from right now Schizoglo has no use of Abalos because she has already used him this time around and her Team Unity lost anyway. The only use Abalos has for Schizoglo now is to take the rap for cheating her in this election.
Abalos, the whole country is looking closely at what your about to do – better you wake up before its too late.

    Vic,
What a good idea, lets say the Indian’s take over our election process as they will give election results in a matter of hours, not months. We already know they’re smart managers with their five/six lending operations that our poor cirizens are forced to use to survive.

  4. Abalos, take this as a friendly piece of advice, better for you to announce that Koko takes the 12th slot as Senator so at least you can be remembered for doing something honest before you retired. Otherwise you got nothing going for you.

  5. Still with Abalos & Comelec, I sincerely hope that there’s someone in the opposition looking after the life of this whistleblower De la Torre, a PMP coordinator in Maguindanao we need more brave people like him to come forward.
Abalos must be shaking in his shoes – better Abalos comes clean because there must be many hundreds of witnesses to say there was fraudulent elections – lets encourage them to tell the truth – the whole body of the Comelec should be kicked out, right NOW!

  6. And where’s the investigation to where the missing three teachers are – seems to me that nobody accept the opposition wants to hear the TRUTH and give JUSTICE.

  7. The Tribune reports “De la Torre, a PMP coordinator in Maguindanao, who had told this paper about the massive and systematic electoral fraud in the province that delivered a 12-0 victory for Mrs. Arroyo?s Team Unity (TU) senatorial bets in the May 14 mid-term polls”.
Abalos must be made to listen to what this man has to say and not to just give a ‘rubber stamp’ reply of an ‘Honest Mistake’. Abalos its time for you to realise the game is up, the game is over!

  8. luzviminda luzviminda

The one wrong move of Gloria-Abalos tandem that we are waiting for is maybe coming. Their END is coming. THEY’RE FINISHED! Mga kababayan, Humanda sa maigting na LABAN! This maybe THE FINAL BATTLE!!! Be ready to be teargassed!

  9. he he he! Schizoglo has no finesse, no tact and good humour as far as she’s concerned Nah! Schizoglo will have to be carried out kicking & screaming tied into a straightjacket for the whole world to see what a nutter we have had leading this imaginary grand economy of the sweat & toil of our brave OFW’s.
As for Abalos & Ermita it seems that they didn’t realise that the masses has suspected them and their blatent lies to the public some time ago. Maybe its because they live in their own small elitist world, busy cultivating their plastic smiles.

  10. luzviminda:
For some time I feared an uprising and battle.
But for some time now I’ve realised there are many cooks in the Administration bur no Chef to lead any policy, making them ineffective to govern let alone to dictate.
The white helicopter will be overhead very soon for the grand exit – the sooner the better – lets get it on!

Proclaim Koko Pimentel sooner than later.

  12. rose rose

Si Abalos ay waay gid ti pulos. Whatever action he takes now will be a lose-lose situation for him. Why don’t you choose the lesser of the two evils for you- declare Pimentel the winner as he is or to canvass and continue with your stupidity.

  13. About time, Ellen. I have been wondering when this rally or rallies going to happen between June 20 and 30th when this idiot of a Commissioner will have to make a decisive decision or he faces the wrath of the now angry and really awakened Filipino public.

It reminds of the interviews I have been translating of late for a show on Japanese TV in August on WWII. Time and time again, Filipinos have proven their inherent capacity to endure and persevere, even tolerate abuses inflicted upon them, but even then, as they often say, “‘pag umaapaw, kinakalos,” and as always, the time has come, especially with these promising neophytes who are moved more by love of country than by any personal interests and ambition as in the case of Senators Trillanes, Cayetano and even Koko Pimentel, who is moved not by ambition, I know, but to help, if not continue, what his father has dedicated his life to do, to right the wrong in the system and stop these crooks, and eventually put them all into jail for crimes committed against the people of the Philippines.

Time to demand the abolition, if not complete overhaul, of the COMELEC, and send Abaloslos and his fellow commissioners to prison for not just messing up the election but for insulting their own people!!! PATALSIKIN NA, NOW NA! The idiot now gallivanting in Singapore should not be allowed to get back to the Philippines now, PRONTO!

  14. Rome – Spain – China – Australia – New Zealand – Singapore etc.
Have we missed her Nah! she’s a bloody joke, but the joke is on us because we are the laughing stock of the world and we allow her to continue until we remove her in a straightjacket!

  15. I’m waiting to see what reaction this Pichard Abalos makes.

And here’s Gloria’s report card while at Singapore.

Over in Singapore, Gloria blamed Erap on the bad economy she inherited but flaunted her sound economic policies kuno which made Philippines progress on the roll. Lumalago na raw ang ating ekonomiya, the oft repeated statement we hear almost everytime. But she failed to notice a declaration from the World Economi Forum on what ails the countries in the region. WEF cited urban congestion, poor education, inadequate infrastructure, and income disparities as key problems faced by some countries. It added that the rapid urban growth is stymied by the widening income gaps.

At sino kaya ang pinatatatamaan sa Singapore? Their observation of urban congestion (proliferation of squatters), poor education (lack of classrooms, low salaries of teachers and textbooks scams at the DECS) and inadequate infrastrure (due to corruption at DPWH and DOTC) are exactly what is happening in our country! It is an indictment to Gloria’s maladministration. Manhid!

    ‘yun ang gusto niya, ibigay!

hihintayin pa ba ang 2010? mahabang panahon pa rin ‘yan ng pagdurusa ng sambayanan.

  20. The idiot does not really have to be in Singapore since she cannot contribute anything to the talks there except brag about her policy to make even qualified professionals in the Philippines as those doctors to be super maids and houseboys! 😛

She could have delegated someone more qualified than her, but no, she has to go and pretend to be ignorant of the cheating, etc. she has ordered her deputies to do on her behalf. For her, it is exactly what they are being paid for to do even when the money she uses is not hers but the people’s plus those loans that the people of the Philippines of this and future generations have to bleed to pay for.

Hindi pa bumaba at magpakulong na lang. PATALSIKIN NA, NOW NA! TULUYIN NA!

I’m pondering why there’s a 3pm deadline for the voters during election day, and no deadline for Comelec in the counting of votes.

Bakit ‘di nilagay sa Omnibus Election Code ang deadline on the counting of votes?

  23. kulitus kulitus

i think comelec will let zubiri win. they need him to insure that villar gets the senate presidency. with villar as senate president, lacson will not get the blue ribbon committee. they will put “noted” pangilinan instead. other powerful committees will then be given to other senators who have forged allegiance to gma but are being kept in the opposition. we will see the true color of these senators in the coming months, specially villar. perhaps they are afraid of having lacson, cayetano, pimentel and trillanes in the blue ribbon committee. too many investigations… one of them might prove fruitful.

    just my comments.

Sinabi mo pa Sampot. Sorry, Ellen, for the mura. I could not help myself. Kesa naman magkaroon ako ng stroke kasi. I have actually stopped saying bad words even in Pilipino, but since the idiot placed herself at Malacanang, I cannot find a better way to express my anger but by saying the crispiest profanity for this pimp!

  26. Sampot Sampot

    Kulitus,

I share your hunch. VIllar for his part is itching to become president by 2010, and he can’t wait any longer. Tumantanda na rin yong mama. That’s why, deals and compromises are really part of his game plan since he talked with Erap or maybe even earlier… Ang gusto kasi ng mga negosyante like Villar is the status quo.

The likes of Escudero, Pangilinan, and Honasan are what we can classify as “resistance regulator”. Their job is to pretend they are carrying our sentiments so that we don’t need to ventilate it elsewhere.

Kaya nagtataka ako kung sino pa yong totoong nakipaglaban para sa tunay na reporma, siya pa ang nahuling isinama sa line-up ng GO senatoriables.

  27. luzviminda luzviminda

    Sampot,

IT IS OBVIOUSLY BECOME AN OFFICE FOR THE CHEATING OPERATIONS OF MALACAÑANG.

  28. Sampot Sampot

    Mrivera,

Pambihira, nag-ambisyon pang maging senador! Naloko na.

    Nalanta na pala.

  29. luzviminda luzviminda

The REAL OPPOSITION should really be united and firm para talagang Oposisyon ang uupo bilang Senate President. I will really go for Senator Aquilino Pimentel.

    Thanks again. Mabuhay ka.

RE: Metro Manila Council resolution banning rallies and motorcades in Metro Manila major thoroughfares.

This is a concerted effort by Malacanang and MMDA chief Fernando to suppress mass protest action as a result of Hello Abalos-Zubiri political scam. The unconstitutional calibrated preemptive response (CPR) policy was enforced after wake of a series of rallies calling for Gloria’s resignation or removal from office due to massive electoral fraud in 2004. Gloria Arroyo and her cohorts are using the same illicit method to ban rallies and peaceful assemblies. The Arroyo government has mastered the distortion and selective interpretation of laws that fits their own interests.

  36. Diego K. Guerrero Diego K. Guerrero

MMDA Chairman Bayani Fernando thinks he is above the law. He has no mandate and appointed by a fake President Arroyo. Both are sham.

Makati City Mayor Jejomar Binay tells MMDA to obey SC rulings
    06/26/2007
The SC, in its decision in the Bel-Air case in 1991, said the MMDA has no legislative powers, and that it is only the city or municipal councils that can pass local laws governing traffic management.
“The power to pass local laws, including laws governing traffic, belongs to the local legislative councils of the local governments. The MMC is a policy-making body of the MMDA, which in turn, is a coordinating agency for Metro Manila based on the high tribunal’s ruling,” Binay said.

While we are at the Pimentel-Zubiri running feud to gain the senate 12rh slot, there’s an interesting comment in the Philippine Commentary blog by GSDC which is worth our attention. Please let me quote in part:

One thing to consider, is that whoever ends up the 12th senator will determine who becomes senate president. Its fearless forecast:
    (1) The Supreme Court will throw out Koko Pimentel’s ill-advised petition for being “premature” and in the nature of “pre-proclamation controversy” over which the Comelec has “exclusive jurisdiction” (according to the Omnibus Election Code).
    (2) Weakened by such a setback, the Comelec will brazenly proclaim Migs Zubiri the twelfth winning senator and let Koko file an election protest.

Based on what is known, Koko will probably win that protest…eventually…and serve one day in the Senate sometime in 2013.
    ==
Panalo talaga si Koko but Comelec will do everything as being orchestrated by Malacanang to declare Zubiri as the winner so that they can maneuver into getting their man get the Senate presidency. It’s how I understand GSDC’s opinion on the matter. Sabi ko nga, they will do everything in every turn basta to stay in power. It’s the legacy she’s talking about.

  39. rose rose

Xanadu: Is Villar the man GMA wants to be the Senate Pres.?
At papayag si Villar ng ganyan? Sumama siya sa opposition. Kung ganoon fake rin pa la siya. And Cavalier kuno? Woe is me.. my poor country!

  40. Xanadu:

The unano should not be too sure. Just because Zubiri is being aided by some crooks in Mindanao, Koko likewise has a big following in his father’s home island.

I have actually met a Moslem leader who told me that they are supporting Senator Pimentel and reason why they have remained in the Philippine Republic instead of opting for total independence from the present Philippines/Philippine government.

I am glad they still can think that way because of Koko’s father especially when such move (independence per se) can mean the end of the Philippines that you and the rest of the bloggers here should not approve nor support.

Koko is the real winner, not the binabae, who should concede now if indeed he is thinking of the welfare and interest of the Philippines, and not his own. Anong gusto nila, guerra patani?

Oh yeah? Then if that is what they want, then give it to them! Sino bang tinakot nila?

PATALSIKIN NA, NOW NA! THE CRIMINAL SHOULD BE REMOVED NOW PRONTO! Maybe, we should have our own rallies in Japan as well to show sympathy for those back home. Those parties that the unano is giving for OFWs during her gallivanting spree is actually an attempt to tame Filipinos overseas. Baka nga naman magaya doon sa mga movement before against Marcos.

This time, it is going to be a purely Philippine affair!
