Tama lang ang pagbatikos ni Bayan Muna Teddy Casiño ng ganitong garapalan. Unang-una ano ba ang qualifications nitong dalawang Arroyo mamuno ng napaka-mahalaga na mga kumite na ito. Maliban sa magaling sa mga bagay na maaring mapagkwartahan.
Dapat natin alalahanin na si Iggy Arroyo ang umako ng Jose Pidal accounts ng kanyang kapatid na si Mike Arroyo. Nakakapagtaka dahil bago tumuntong sa Malacañang ang kanyang kapatid, usap-usapan sa Negros ang hindi niya pagbayad ng mga dapat niyang bayaran.
Itong namang si Mikey nakakabili ng mamahaling kabayo, ano ba ang pinakakitaan nito.
Lalo siguro silang magpakalunod sa pera dahil sa taon na ito 22 power plants ng National Power Corporation ang ibebenta at iba-bid ang 25 taong franchise ng the National Transmission Corporation (Transco).
Siyempre alam naman natin na malaking pera ang sa mining na sa ilalim ng pamamahala ng ating antural resources o likas na kayamanan. Nabuksan na ang mining sa mga dayuhan.
Kamakailang lang nilipat ang e Philippine Mining Development Corp (PMDC) mula sa Department of Environment and Natural Resources na ngayon ay pinamumunuan ng dating Manila mayor na si Lito Atienza, sa Office of the President. Ang PMDC ang sanga ng DENR na bahala sa negosyo ng mina.
Nababahala si Casiño na baka kakuntsaba ng mga negosyante sa mina itong grupo ng mga Arroyo (may sa pang congressman, si Dato, kapatid ni Mikey) sa kongreso na at delikado ang ating kalikasan. Ngayon lang nga nagkakandaloko na ang ating kalikasan dahil sa pangaabuso ng mga taong malapit sa kapangyarihan.
Tinanong ni Casiño kung nakuha ba ni Mikey at Iggy ang chairmanship ng energy at natural resources committee dahil sa kamag-nak sila ni Gloria Arroyo? Sa usapan ba yun sa pagpanatili ni Jose de Venecia bilang speaker?
Mayabang ang sagot ni Senior deputy majority leader Neptali Gonzales ng Rizal. Sabi niya: “Hindi karapatan ng minority na paki-alaman ang desisyon ng majority. Ganun din hindi naming pakialaman ang desisyon ng minority.”
At bakit hindi paki-alaman ng oposisyon? Karapatan ng bawat miyembro ng kongreso, administrasyon man o oposisyon ang pangangalagaan ang kalagayan ng bansa.

I like your comments which are a bit different from the mainstream. In response to your query, I say “pen is mightier than sword”. That’s why we’re all here expressing our anger in writing led by the number one fighter, Ellen. Will they (count me out) stand up and go out to put their writing into action? I doubt. Some are confined in their air-conditioned rooms using the latest PC model. Some are thousands of miles away from the battle enjoying the foreign sky and air. When will those words be put into action? ‘Don’t know. the question shall be asked again and again until a new leadership is born. And then when this new leadership does not please their taste, the same scenario. But you know what? Any new leader will not be as worse as the present one. And I for one am hoping and eagerly anticipating for that new leadership.

He even had a TV talk show with I think a certain Monsod and they were attacking Estrada. For reasons only known to him, he became anti-Arroyo and sort of pro-Estrada. Look around and you’ll see many of journalists of this kind today. In fairness to the many bloggers here who are not physically participating in the rallies, many are now residing abroad. But I know that some tried to return to the country to join the rallies once in a while. Our National Hero Dr. Jose Rizal also used his pen to push for changes and attack the oppressors. He sacrificed his life for the country and people. Perhaps you would ask would any of the bloggers here sacrifice their life?

Mrivera made a general statement so I was not sure who he was alluding to. But Harion, while I respect your opinion and position, you should be aware that you’re in a blog where majority are very much anti-Arroyo and don’t take anything that is contrary to that. You might have misinterpreted their hatred for this Gloria as arrogance. I don’t think many of them are with the exception of a few who continue to maintain a “know-it-all” attitude.
Harion, I wish you could tone down on your critical comments against other bloggers here. Mrivera might be sarcastic and corny at times, but the guy also has good ideas. BTW, if you keep on with your present style of writing, either your posts shall be deleted or be banned by Ellen. Many like you have tried to be different but failed. Many have left voluntarily or involuntarily. If you want to stay alive in this blog, try to tone down a bit.
The commented argument you are having above is nothing more to me, rather it is becoming a personal branding .It seems you are all debating and no longer enough to drink which is better Coke or Pepsi.–Instead you created your own brand and there is nothing wrong with that, except some pedestal ego. Personal branding lets you control how other people perceive, You’re telling them what you stand for — but in a way that’s so organic and unobtrusive that you think you’ve developed that perception all by yourselves, When said right, it’s irresistible, wishful thinking resistance doesn’t kick into action.
