Ano ba naman ito si Erap at iniimbitahan si Noli de Castro sumali sa oposisyon at maari raw siya ang magiging kandidato ng oposisyon sa pagkapresident sa 2010.
Sana panakot lang ni Estrada ito sa mga taga oposisyon na gustong kumandidato sa 2010 para sila ay magkasundo na isa lang ang kakandito.
Kung nagbibiro si Estrada, hindi magandang biro yun. At nakakasama sa kanya. Ibig sabihin noon siya mismo walang pagpahalaga sa katotohanan at hustisya. Paano mo naman tatanggapin ang isang taong kumapi kay Gloria kahit nabulgar na ang kanyang pandaraya noong 2004 na eleksyon ay panggigipit sa taumbayan.
Marami naman mapagpilian sa oposisyon bakit pa niya imbitahan si De Castro. Ngayon pa lang , dalawang taon bago 2010, pumupwesto na ang mga may ambisyon na magiging presidente. Lahat siguro sila naniniwala sa kasabihan, “The early bird catches the worm”.
Si Sen. Mar Roxas, mukhang sigurado na siya bilang kandidato ng Liberal party. Kahit si Environment Secretary Lito Atienza na hindi kasundo ni dating Senate President Franklin Drilon at kumampi kay Gloria Arroyo noong 2004, ay walang tutol kay Mar. Nilalakad pa nga niya na magiging administration candidate si Mar. Sabi niya kay Mar, “Kailanganin mo ang pera at organisasyon ng administrasyon.” Siyempre pera ng tao yun.
Ngunit may mga nagsasabi rin ay Mar na huwag siyang pumayag madungisan ni Arroyo.
Sa Nacionalista party naman, si Senate President Manuel Villa rang pambato. Ang problema naman kay Villar ay magkakaibigan sila ni de Castro na siyang maaring kandidato ng administrasyon. Kailangan ayusin ni Villar si de Castro.
Si Sen. Ping Lacson ay nagsasabing interesado pa rin siyang tumakbong presidente kahit natalo na siya noong 2004.
Pumasok na naman ngayon si dating Pangulong Estrada na sinabing kung hindi raw magkaisa ang oposisyon baka tumakbo na rin siya. May mga nagsasabi na hindi na maaring tumakbo si Estrada ngunit may mga nagsasabi na dahil sa hindi niya natapos ang kanyang anim na taon, pwede pa siya.
Hindi ko maintindihan ang laro ni Estrada. May mga nagsasabi na gusto lang niyang siguraduhin na magiging bise-presidente ang kanyang anak na si Sen. Jinggoy Estrada sa 2004.
Sa akin, dapat si Estrada ay mag-adviser na lang. Huwag na siyang bumalik sa pagka-presidente. Binigyan na siya ng sambayanan ng pagkakataon. Pinalpak naman niya. Kung ano man ang natutunan niya sa kayang maikling pag-upo sa Malacañang, gamitin na lang niya sa pagadvise sa bagong presidente. Ipaubaya na niya ang bayan sa mga nakakabata.
Sa admininistrasyon naman, maliban kay De Castro, sinabi na ni Sen. Richard Gordon na pwede siya. Ganun rin si Bayani Fernando ng Metro Manila Development Authority.
Pinagtatawanan ng Malacañang ang oposisyon dahil malamang maghati-hati ang boto, panalo ang manok nila. Kung hindi man manalo, madali silang mandaya katulad noong 2004. Malamang mangyari ito.
Maari rin naman na isa sa mga oposisyon ngayon ang lilipat sa administrasyon. Hawak ni Arroyo ang pera ng bayan. Kaya niya bilhin ang maaring bilhin. Siyempre ang kapalit noon hindi kakasuhan si Arroyo ng plunder. Kaya tuloy ang maliligayang araw niya kasama ng kanyang pamilya.
Kaya lang e, may eleksyon ba sa 2010? Siyempre hindi pa naggi-give up si Arroyo at ang kanyang mga alagad sa cha-cha.
Ang kabutihan lang sa maagang organisasyon para sa 2010 ay, kapag biglang ipasok ang cha-cha at sabihing walang eleksyon, magwawala ang taumbayan. Tingnan natin kung ano ang gagawin ni Arroyo.
Panggulo na iyang si Erap at hindi na Pangulo… Bakit ba di na lang siya tumahimik at pursue na lang niya ang kanyang pro-mahirap programme?

All this noise should not be taken seriously. All the jockeying in media are nothing but PR-driven noise-making stunts to make the prospective candidates visible in masses’ political radar. The bottomline, they are sure to get good numbers come survey time. That is where it will matter: the surveys.
But I won’t suggest making an all-out effort this early. I’m a bit surprised at the new SWS survey that Villar has beaten everyone else in the “popularity contest” because such position will be very expensive and strategically, very difficult to maintain. This surge in Villar’s approval rating is unfounded. It was more a product of early campaigning in the guise of the widely advertised Nacionalista Party anniversary than satisfaction over his Senate leadership, which should have been the correct measure.
This will also dangerously expose him to a possible Senate coup which could come anytime when the other presidentiables, whether admin or opposition, realize that they are seriously under threat of defeat from him. That could seal his political doom. He then won’t have access to the funds generous lobbyists are willing to spend in congress.
Or Villar might just peak early and somebody else takes over where he left off.

Erap’s detractors are worried about his popularity and charisma. Being Ama ng Masang Pilipino, ofcourse he has guts to lead and serve the people but the elitists composed of Business sectors, Church hierarchy, military adventurist, Tabako and co., civil society and trapo/balimbing politicians are the real enemies of our people.
They are afraid and worried from Erap charisma and possibly he will be elected again in 2010 if those concerned oppositionist will not settle their differences and must be united against GMA forces.
For me, Erap is a nothing but a has-been. He should retire from politics, and go back to movie making.
He should start making documentaries exposing graft and corruption, etc. that may inspire Filipinos to fight back, not be contented with the creeps running their government like hell. Mas maalala pa siya ng marami kung gagawin niya iyan. We can help distribute those movies overseas if the Dorobo will not allow them to be shown in the Philippines like what she did to Eraps’s “To Live for the Masses” because it can serve as evidence of her crime in 2001 committed against the Filipino people with the help of those generals vying for her attention and dole outs.

Ms. Ellen, can anyone or anybody tell Pres. Erap not to get noli “kayabang” de castro as the presidentiable of the opposition. There’s a lot of reason not to tap him:
1. He is corrupt, Mr. Clean from the outside, but dirty from the inside;
2. His cheap (chief) of staff, will just enrich himself;
3. look at his record at the housing sector, he is giving too much favor to a selected few, esp those from his staff at the HUDCC, pag-ibig and the other housing agencies
That is only to name a few.
People from his bayan production, during the magandang gabi bayan, are complaining talk to them and you will find out how corrupt this “kayabang” guy.

Meron din akong Farenheit 9/11 and two other more documentaries Michael Moore did. He was in Tokyo 2 or 3 years ago and he talked about US war on Iraq. Bilib ako! Gayahin na lang ni Erap si Michael since anyway he has started doing such movie as the “To Live for the Masses.”
I got permission to produce it in Japan, and have distributed more than a hundred copies of the DVDs I made to media, etc. It’s an effective tool against Gloria Dorobo that is why it is banned for showing in the Philippines at present.

Rose, how can we stop Erap from speaking and expressing his opinion? He’s a free man…he got back his civil and political rights. Walang dahilan para pigilin siya kung ano man ang gusto niyang gawin. He has the same rights as any other citizen. Even if he runs again and this will result in legal argument, puwede pa rin kung gusto niya. I’ve been saying all along that Erap is no longer interested. At 70, he prefers to enjoy his life. Pautot lang niya ang kunwai’y tatakbo siya. He’s been in politics too long for us not to know that it’s all just politics. At the end of the day, ang susundin niya kung ano ang makakabuti sa kanya at kanyang pamilya…at siyempre kung ano din ang makakabuti sa bansa at taong bayan.
