Walang pusong kaunlaran

Sinabi sa Bibliya, “What does it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses his own soul?” Ganoon ang tingin ko sa China.

  1. Tsk tsk. Huwad at materyal lamang ang ganoong kaunlaran. Nakakalungkot.

What China did to the Olympics was indeed embarrassing. They showed a different girl who was more beautiful than the real singer. Even the whole Beijing was covered from ugly scenes where the poor live. It’s not actually fake. It’s show off. That’s what Gloria has been doing. America is as guilty. While she projects herself as protector of human rights and democracy, she continues to bully other countries.

China is a country of fakes today. From toys, clothes to electronics, China copies name brands. That’s why China wants to deal with Gloria Arroyo because she’s also a fake!

  9. I am not prejudiced against the Chinese especially after I discovered that my mother is also part Chinese (Cantonese), and so are a lot many Filipinos, but the deception above reminds me of Akong at our neighborhood corner. I saw him mixing water in the vinegar that he sells to the people in the neighborhood. Worse was nangungulangot pa ang unga while mixing vinegar with water. Mas grabe was when I saw him beating his houseboy who was just a few years older than me.

When I came to Japan, I heard of a Chinaman killed by some Japanese in retaliation for what he did to a Japanese, because they would allow any foreigner to be lording over them. Sa Pilipinas, ang mga pilipino alipin ng mga dayuhan, tapos pag humirit ang pilipino like what the members of Bayan or Akbayan do protesting in front of the US Embassy for instance, sabi na komunista sila. Ulol talaga!

  10. …because they would not allow any foreigner to be lording over them….

  11. i agree with you. beijing cheated its small kid and the whole world even during the opening rite of the event.

  12. bitchevil bitchevil

Pardon me grizzy, I think calling the Chinese “Chinaman” is kinda derogatory. It’s like calling the Blacks “Nigger” and Japanese “Japs”. I hope you don’t mind my pointing it out.

Actually, corruption was taught by the Chinese to the Filipinos. Now, the Filipinos not only have learned the art of corruption, they have mastered it and even better than the Chinese. Sad but true…

  13. Ellen,

Hindi naman permanente ang yaman ng bansa, especially when you think of the still hungry Chinese despite the picture of prosperity.

Look at what nature is doing now to China to give the Chinese politburo a lesson. God’s anger is very evident in fact in the recent earthquake when most of the victims were the children of parents who would never have children ever again because of the one-child policy of the Chinese government that is in fact a violation of nature. It is tampering with nature, what God wants and not want men want to do with themselves.

I doubt na tutubo ng malaki ang China sa Olympics with all the restrictions and all. Nakakatakot iyong violence sa mga foreigners for them to stay away and not go to China to watch the Olympics.

I’m not impressed.

  14. I, myself, do not patronize Chinese products. Kaya nga when I went to Hong Kong, hindi ako namili ng marami.

OK pa iyong sa made in Taiwan.

  15. Kaya iniwan kay Gloria Dorobo. Mandaraya!

Here are some quotes of the day on honesty, etc.:

    >”The true hypocrite is the one who ceases to perceive his deception, the one who lies with sincerity”: André Gide

    =
“Integrity is telling myself the truth. And honesty is telling the truth to other people”: Spencer Johnson

    =
“Every violation of truth is not only a sort of suicide in the liar, but is a stab at the health of human society”: Ralph Waldo Emerson

  16. Ganoon ba, BD. But the news item said, “Chinaman” and it was written by an American who was writing for an English daily here when the incidence happened.

  17. bitchevil bitchevil

The Chinese used to be called “Chinaman” by the Americans in the past just like “Nigger” to Blacks. The author of that news item could be held liable for this. You may want to ask your friends about that. And you could even call that American writer’s attention. Thanks for your understanding, grizzy.

Manila is deluged with fakes because Filipinos cannot afford genuine signature bags.

  19. bitchevil bitchevil

But Valdemar, it doesn’t mean the Filipinos cannot afford a genuine President.

Did you hear about Spain’s basketball team making fun of the Chinese in a photo commercial?

  22. florry florry

At OK na sana, walang snag at very smooth ang flow ng show from start to finish. Shock and awe ang mga TV audience around the world at sabi hindi na mapapantayan ng sino mang bansa ang nagawa ng China, kaya nga lang may nag “rat” sa side ng China kaya pati yong fireworks show ay nabuking din na digitally enhanced para lumabas na napakaganda sa TV. Kaya medyo lumabnaw yong kulay pula.

Swimming at volleyball, beach volleyball are so exciting.

  28. Well, that incident in fact happened a long, long time ago. Besides, what’s in a word. Para sa akin mas masagwa ang “Beho” in reference to a Chinese.

We have a word in Japanese that means “cheater, deceiver (manlokoko) etc.” It is “intsiki.”

Never heard. Sa iyo lang.

Maraming magnanakaw from Fookien ang nahuhuli dito ngayon. Robbery with murder pa ang kaso.

Neither am I prejudiced against the Chinese, grizzy. There are those of chinese descent like Gen Lim, Tiu Laurel and Alejandro Lichauco who have given so much of themselves for the liberation of the Filipinos. But they are more filipinos than the enemy colaborators like gloria macabebe, john rat martir, joan neri, dragon arroyo and evat recto. What I consider as foreign enemies are: those who acquired filipino citizenship thru fake process; those who acquired filipino citizenship so as to continue their economic control over the original Filipinos; those who belong to the rice cartel since the 1900s up to now; those who are giving expensive gifts to Philippine government officials; those who united in boycotting a leading newspaper which fearlessly reports the truth about the country because of its pronouncement that it is only on the side of the Filipinos; those who continue to invade the Philippines when the government claims we are already overpopulated; those who are now uprooting large areas of rice fields in Laguna beside the South Luzon Expressway and converting them it an urban area; those who continue to import from china products which kill our shoe industry; and those who control our economy and displace the original Filipinos from their business.

They are foreign enemies invading our country. Macabebe Arrobo is colaborating with them. What then is the duty of Filipino soldiers among us before this kind of situation- before foreign invaders, before a foreign enemy colaborator? Is it to protect a colaborator like what John Rat has been doing? Or is it to cut off the colaborator macabebe arrobo from access to control of disposition of Philippine resources as it is being channeled away to these Chinese as it is also being channeled away to the Americans?

At masasabi mong umunlad sila. Tayo ano?

  35. JM:

One of my good friends in Japan in fact is a pure-blooded Chinese born in the Philippines. He is Fookienese by descent but since he was born and reared in the Philippines, he considers himself as a Filipino, and he speaks the national language like a native, at hindi niya kinahihiyang pilipino siya. I like that, and it is why he is my friend.

Walang binatbat si Gloria Dorobo when it comes to loyalty to country and all.

  36. Ellen,

You should see the kind of cruelty parents in China do to their children because of their wrong beliefs, perception, etc. One way daw to gain fame and fortune like the giant basketball player who carried the Chinese flag at the opening ceremonies of the Olympics. O mukhang delikado na ang katawan.

  37. Ed Fajardo Ed Fajardo

Let me change our topic to the on-going Olympics. I learned how our first athlete na sumabak, a shooter named Eric Ang,fared miserably, landing 1st from the bottom of 35 contestants. What was disturbing however, was the information na kaya nakasali itong pobreng ‘cano na ito dahil strongly recommended daw ito ni former Ilocos governor Chavit Singson. Is this true Ellen? Moreover, sa larangan naman ng boxing, alam ko lahat na Pinoy was pinning their hopes on the lone Filipino entry in Harry Tanamor and you all know, 1st round pa lang, history na. Admittedly, ABAP president Manny Lopez, anak ni dating Manila Mayor Gemiliano Lopez does not deserve another minute to lead this boxing body. This is his 3rd Olympic that he is in charge with bokya accomplishment. But what surprised me, folks was the statement of both Ang and Lopez that they are eyeing for next Olympics in London in 2012.

  38. bitchevil bitchevil

If it was true that it was the gambling lord Chavit Singson who recommended shooter Ang to Olympic, then the gambling syndicate has also penetrated the Olympic games. Chavit could have bet on Ang to land in the last place; but he landed second to the last. Chavit might have lost millions again. And do you notice that whenever Manny Pacquiao goes, Singson is with him? Even when there’s no boxing bout…even during social events, Singson is with Pacquiao. Is Singson now Pacquiao’s personal bodyguard?

  39. Chabeli Chabeli

Sayang all that ooohs & ahhhs of China in the opening of the Olympics..magaling nga ren sila copying LVs & other branded items.

  40. Who knows what was in the mind of the decision maker when he/she decided to present another child to represent China. Perhaps some of you who have been in positions where hard decisions had to be made and you made them.
Truth is, this is a cruel world, where the majority judge mainly by appearance, tall, long-legged, perfectly symmetrical face, ample breasts, etc. In the world of television, being “telegenic” counts, and goes a long way. The term “putting your best foot forward” ring a bell? In he case of China, I remember a joke I heard once “If Superman and Wonderwoman got married and had a son, what would they name him?” Answer…Anything they name they want, they’re superheroes who’s going to stop them?”
Its a sad picture now really, but lets look at it as a taste of things to come if we become a vassal to China, or would we prefer Malaysia, how about the US of A?
If anything, we need to keep our eyes on the ball, we need to get our acts together, forge alliances, unite and fight tooth and nail those who intend to divide us, we must fight to maintain structural integrity…

  41. A pattern comes out of the woodwork every once in a while, subtle, but visible still to the discerning eye. We seem to have multiple targets nowadays, the MILF, the US, China, and even each other…
Personally, if the US, China, or even Malaysia takes a very serious interest in occupying the country we won’t be able to do anything about it…but would they? If we look like we’re making a mess of things here, giving an impression of ineptitude, thats a clear invitation for others to meddle in our affairs, especially if their interests may be jeopardized by our inadequacy. Who in his right mind would interfere if we are determined, superbly managed, united, happy, robust, and proud of ourselves?
What we can do really is to take care of business “our business” like getting rid of Gloria, cleaning up congress, senate, the local government, and the whole national political conscience, and stop tinkering with the constitution for goodness sake…

  42. bitchevil bitchevil

That means we go to the basic goal; that is, get rid of the Evil Bitch. As always, the question is how…

Hanep. Pinoy na Pinoy a. Sabi pa ng gunggong na announcer, “we are really proud of our swimmers they have broken Philippine and SEA Games records.” Kahit paano, doon may laban tayo.

Kaya pala nagpunta si Gloria sa Beijing nung opening, nagpalista, kaso wala pa raw yung event niya this year.

  45. I am not actually that sold to the Beijing Olympics with all the yabang and ingratitude even to foreign experts who helped with all those gimmicks at the opening ceremonies like what the Panasonic technicians did but never got any credit, or the Japanese fireworks makers who submitted their proposals with all the technical knowhow that must have been stolen by the Chinese, but were turned down just a few days or weeks before the Olympics after their plans, etc. were stolen. That is why the fireworks did not come up to the kind of fireworks show we see in summer in Japan.

Kaya wise din iyong medal maker na hapon on contract with IOC to turn down making medals for the Beijing Olympics. Nainis kasi doon sa Japan bashing last year after all the economic ODA given to China by Japan.

No pun intended as a matter of fact. Nagsasabi lang ng totoo. Truth is China is made up of a lot of people with different spoken languages, customs and traditions.May mabuti at masamang ugali din. Talk of One China. It was actually a big myth. I suppose it is still deep inside each respective group of Chinese.

  47. jose miguel jose miguel

bitchevil, how to get rid of the evil bitch? Show the Filipinos a compelling reason to. Unearth the reason for the Filipino soldiers. As an example: “It is the duty of a soldier or for every Filipino for that matter, to defend his country against foreign invaders and their colaborators. Foreign invaders are the Americans and the Chinese who are now in control of our economy, military, foreign affairs, political affairs and our psycho-social behavior. The Chinese are still pouring in their people clandestinely with the help of many government officials. The Chinese control our rice industry which discouraged many farmers to abandon rice production. The government blames over population and depleting resources to the Filipinos. GMA provides the puppet government for these foreign invaders. The evil bitch is a colaborator. We only need to provide the detailed documents if the Filipinos for some pathological reason still can not see this.”

  48. bitchevil bitchevil

Jose, when we talk about the Chinese in the Philippines, we need to distinguish between Tsinoys (native born) and those who just came from mainland China. The Filipino-Chinese have all the same rights as that of Filipino citizens. Some Tsinoy children today even speak better Tagalog than pure Pinoys. The ones destroying our economy now are those from mainland China mostly of whom do not even speak a word of Filipino. They belong to the Chinese and Hongkong crime syndicates. These are the Chinese who must be kicked out, but not the local Chinese.

How to get rid of the Evil Bitch? I recently mentioned one option but the term would not be welcomed by this blog. I was already reminded and warned. But to my mind, that’s the only option I see. I see R…..RED.

  49. Nate Contreras Nate Contreras

  50. jose miguel jose miguel

Like I said in my earlier reply, those of chinese descent like Gen Danilo Lim, Tiu Laurel and Alejandro Lichauco who have given so much of themselves for our liberation, those are not the ones I am refering to. It is they who came here clandestinely, acquired fake documents thru immoral means. It is they who have acquired Filipino citizenship documents in order that their having dislodged from business the original Filipinos among us before their acquisition, will then have a legal status. It is they who are continuing to infiltrate the Philippines to occupy our limited areas and drain our depleteing resources while the puppet government blames us Filipinos for overpopultion. It is they who united and organized to control our rice, mango and other agricultural products which brought income of our farmers from the minimum to negative pushing them to abandon farming, bringing down our food supply level. It is they who after controling farm produce from farmers to a very low price, distribute them to retailers in the urban centers at a very high price. It is they who when farmers abandoned farming as a result of their cartel which resulted to critically low supply of food, begun to import what was traditionally a local product. It is they who drove away the Tboli tribes from their lands thru legal and pseudo legal means. It is they who imported shoes from China and killed the growing shoe industry of us Filipinos in Marikina. It is they who bribe our goverment officials from the lowest to the highest resulting to their having control of our political system. It is they who control our economy making us Filipinos unable to have access to our own resources.

It is they who applied what the famous Chinese General Sun Tzu said something like, “…more superior is an Army who conquers cities without fighting…” They conquered our cities without the use of traditional combat weapons. They cultivated GMA who was more than willing to be their puppet government.

Filipino soldiers among us, what are we doing? Where is our enemy? Who is our enemy? Our own flesh and blood Filipino rebels? Who are they fighting against? Are they not the foreign oppressors? Who told us they are our enemies? Let us read history researched by Luzviminda Francisco, Stanley Karnow, E San Juan, Howard Zinn or Gabrial Kolko to realize how Filipino soldiers DNA for enemy recognition was damaged into becoming autoimmune.
Let us read history of Japan, Vietnam, Israel, France and Finland and see how their soldiers respond to foreign intervention and colaboration with the foreign enemy.

  51. bitchevil bitchevil

Jose, may I remind you that the local Chinese actively participated in our fight against the Spaniards, Americans and Japanese. Many of our heroes are Tsinoys including our very own National Hero Dr. Jose Rizal. Their patriotism, contribution to our culture and economy cannot be ignored.

  52. jose miguel,
You’re “shoe industry” thing struck a chord really. I have a very close friend who is a chinese businessman, he’s one of the old, start from nothing, hard working, traditional Filipino Chinese families. He once told me about a new neighbor of his who recently arrived from mainland China and managed to build his fortune in a matter of months. This guy was importing garlic from China in containers but the real business was drugs, shabu, smuggled in with the garlic. Now how could an importer of garlic become a multi-millionaire in six months, is anyway, is that how expensive garlic has become?

  53. be,
Ask any Filipino Chinese or even Singapore Chinese about the mainlanders now and they’ll tell you to their shame that these guys are a breed apart. They have no scruples, and the old honorable way of doing business bounded by word of honor means nothing to them.

I agree, jug. We only have to go to Chinatown to see how many of these new faces coming from mainland China live and operate. Not even a word of Filipino. They are now in the millions. Out of these millions, how many are deported? Only very few and well publicized by media. It really sucks!

For me, it was an empty presentation.

BTW, it’s in the internet that some of marvelous fireworks display was an earlier 3D pre-recorded.

Speaking of sports and the Olympics, do you notice that there are some sports that the Blacks don’t get into? Look at the US Team, most if not all athletes in Track & Field, runners, are Blacks. Most of the basketball players are Blacks. But in gymnastics, swimming, rowing, volleyball, it’s White. Why is it that? Any explanation?

For gymnastics, you need to join a club, pay a coach, etc. Same thing with rowing – this requires money.

Thanks atty. Good explanation. That’s also the reason why RP can’t excel in sports. But, doesn’t the US government have funds to train the Black athletes even in swimming? Or could it be the Blacks are afraid of cold and water? On the other hand, the whites are afraid of heat so few go out there to run.
