Thai envoy cries foul over RP officials’ statements on crisis

‘Yan nagkakandabuhol-buhol na ang utak ni kilay-less Golez.

MANILA, Philippines – Thailand’s ambassador to the Philippines on Wednesday said he was slighted over Deputy Presidential Spokesperson Anthony Golez and Senator Richard Gordon’s statements on the Thai people’s degree of “maturity.”

In a media briefing, Ambassador Kulkumut Singhara Na Ayudhaya expressed “great concern” that Golez and Gordon’s statements could imply that the political turmoil in Thailand reflects the Thai people’s “lack of maturity.”

“That statement is not based on fact at all and may have some indication of hidden agenda why they have to criticize us like that. In fact, the protest is only indication that Thai people are free to exercise their political right based on democracy,” he said.

The ambassador was referring to Golez’s earlier statement that the takeover of anti-government protesters of two airports in Thailand will not happen in the Philippines, saying Filipinos have reached “political maturity.”

“Our people have reached a high degree of political maturity whereby our people respects due process and the rule of law,” Golez was quoted as saying on November 26.

But the Thai ambassador hit back at Golez, saying: “We have to respect each other and don’t try to compare your society and our society because it’s like we’re competing.”

“I’d like to inform you that I believe the statement made by the two persons I mentioned does not positively contribute to good and long lasting relations,” he added.

He said he could file a diplomatic protest over the “disrespectful” and “unfair”statements before the Foreign Affairs Department (DFA).

“I’ll go to the DFA to inform my great concern. To protest is a little bit tough because I like to tell you, I’m a diplomat. I come to maintain the good relations even it’s a little bit unfair to the Thai side. But I’ll do everything very politely, very properly,” the ambassador said.

Asked if he demands an apology from Golez and Gordon, the ambassador replied, “I can’t force them. It should be voluntary.”

For his part, Golez denied saying the Thai people are politically immature.

“For the record, I did not say the Thais lack the political maturity. I said in my interview that the Filipinos have reached a high level of political maturity,” Golez said in a text message to reporters.

A report by the Associated Press said Gordon denied making any statement that the crisis in Thailand could not happen in the Philippines. The AP report said Gordon in fact said that the turmoil could happen here. – GMANews.TV

Geeezzz, what do you expect from a MORON like golez (not the roilo golez). He may say that it is out of context, BULLSHIT!!! you don’t do that to a frindly country such as Thailand.

Talking about political maturity, we, our politicians, like the moron golez is stopping everything, like the ZTE scandal, northrail, the 2004 i am sorry, to name a few, and we are mature??? sutpid is as stupid does. When the fact that when people say they are against the evil bitch and the hoods, they will label them subersives or destablizers, is that politically mature???

WHen the very essence of democracy is/are always curtailed by this administration, you call that political maturity???

When they don’t allow the executives to attend the senate hearing, you call that political maturity???

When they throw away the impeachment complaint against the bitch so that she could air her side, you call that political maturity??? BULLSHIT!!!!!

    STUPID IS AS STUPID DOES……

How dare Golez speak out against the Thai people ! On the contrary we should commend the Thais for making their voices heard & taking a stand.

It is people like Golez who actually believe they speak for & on behalf of the Filipinos ! Sinusuka na nga si Gloria ng Pilipino !

We should e-mail the Ambassador Kulkumut Singhara Na Ayudhaya & let him know that we support & look up to the Thai people for exercising their rights. The e-mail address of the Royal Thai Embassy in Manila is thai-mnl@globe.com.ph (I searched the web & found this e-mail address. I hope it is correct).

  3. Pia Hontiveros asked him in ANC’s Top Story what Edsa dos was. Was it political immaturity when people osuted an elected rpesident.

He mubled about it being part of history, that the Supreme Court has ruled that it was legal and all the bullshit.

He said just because he said that what happened in Bangkok (the people taking the airport) won’t happen here because Filipinos have reached a certain maturity, didn’t mean that he was saying the the Thais are immature.

What kind of confused logic is that?

  4. Golez is a national embarassment,or better still MATIONAL DISASTER.

  5. balweg balweg

    Exactly The Equalizer,

Golez is a shit like a toilet papers…his double-talk mouth cannot produce good rapport and you never trust him either his master nor their fellow lapdogs continuously barking to misled the people.

  6. The “politically immature” Thailand must be doing something right! Look, we have achieved such a high level of political maturity that there are more Filipinos working in Thailand than Thais working in the Philippines. Dang! They don’t even want to work in Manila! We have achieved such a high level of political maturity that their international airport alone is world class! And their highways? Even better! We have achieved such a high level of political maturity that Thailand was able to solve their traffic problems whereas we, the Filipino politicians are still mired in … wait… I guess it’s called “POLITICAL MATURITY“.

What a disaster that bloody spokesman is! Why can’t they just apologize and apologize quick!

Tita Ellen! People! I’m baccck!!! Hahaha!

    Chabeli,

Golez is a piece of shit…in history of Thai people, ang kanilang bansa lamang sa South East Asia ang di nasakop ng mga dayuhan, kita mo…ibig sabihin, Thai people are most nationalist and defender of their nation against conspirators or foreign invaders.

Di ba ito ang nangyayari today, poor and rich Pinoys di ba halos they kiss the ass of the evil bitch para makinabang din sila.

  8. In this country, Political Maturity is synonymous to Shady Deals & Unprincipled Loyalties.

    Balimbingan.

  9. “What kind of confused logic is that?”

Natawa naman ako dito Tita Ellen hahaha! Quite honestly, I don’t think that Golez spokesman has any logic at all! Looked like “Burds of the same feathers feeds the master!” hahaha

  10. balweg balweg

    Reyna Elena,

Di sila nasakop at napasakop sa kaninuman, kaya their internal polical problems…i do believe na kaya nila itong resolbahin.

Kaya yang si Gloria e still in power?

Isa lang ang dahilan… try to kick-out former Tabako, sure semplang yang si Gloria.

    SumpPit Says: “Balimbingan!”

I hope Golez doesn’t make a mistake of flying to Thailand and find out the state of Maturity of the Thailanders, he might end up growing some eyebrows.

  18. Diego K. Guerrero Diego K. Guerrero

Political maturity?? Clueless Golez is fantasizing. Gloria Arroyo’s 2001 EDSA DOS was a mob rule that ousted a duly elected president of the republic. Cheating, lying and stealing the presidency twice and its subsequent cover-ups to hide her crimes does conform the rule of law. Golez is referring to manure not maturity.

  19. vic vic

To me it is so Immature for a Presidential Mouthpiece to belittle the Nations even granted for the actions of one segment of its society and even that the whole country had shown total Maturity by not resorting to Violence and eventually settle their difference the Constitutional Way> Can Mr. Golez say that about how his Madame did her ascent to the Throne???Say it Mr. Golez, the Thais are listening.

  20. chi chi

Antonia Golez nor Dick Gordon have no rights to make statements critical of the other peoples’ action against their own government officials/government. Kanya-kanya yan, mga tangengot…wala kayong delicadeza!

On the contrary, these two dicks are the immature ones.

How I wished the pinoys would regain their political maturity and to a Thai!

Si Golez … ANG SIP-SIP na WALANG KILAY !

  23. bitchevil bitchevil

Eyebrow less Anthony Golez talks too much. He has no business being a Deputy Sokeshit. He has no legal, business or communication background. He’s a doctor by profession. What is he doing in Malacanang. Another Spokew h o r e Fajardo also talks too much. These two are Malacanang’s spokespersons whenever their boss Dureza is out of the country. But then, Dureza is another shit. It takes a Thai Envoy to make a point. Dick Gordon? He’s a Dick! This guy is the most talkative Senator; and whenever he talks it rains. Ask any reporter and he would tell you that all reporters try to avoid Gordon when he talks. Even his colleagues in the Senate avoid sitting beside him. Gordon claims to be independent; yet he frequents the Palace. Enrile made a big mistake by appointing him as Blue Ribbon Committee Chairman. Maybe it was arranged by Malacanang. The Committee should go to Escudero.

  24. norpil norpil

i felt that i knew the thai character, having studied there for a couple of years. they are a very gentle people in action and in words.people like golez will always find or create enemies even among the friendliest.

  25. bitchevil bitchevil

It’s not only Thai people who are gentle in words and action, many people and leaders from other countries. The Philippines has the worst leaders today.

  26. bitchevil bitchevil

Speaking of maturity, Golez’s eyebrow has not matured yet.

  27. chi chi

The Thai King is well-loved by the Thais.

Thanks.

  29. bitchevil bitchevil

I think Thai King is a symbol like that of Japan’s Emperor; so he doesn’t meddle in state’s affairs. If people criticize and talk bad about their king, the Thais will be more angry.

Once, I was told that to know how thick a person’s pubic hair is, just look at his or her eyebrow. If one has a thick eyebrow, chances are the person has lots of pubic hair. Since Golez has no eyebrow, you know what he has or does not have down there.

My question is… do you think, given the same situation, will GMA also accept the ruling of the court that she steps down? I don’t think so… political maturity my ass.

  36. bitchevil bitchevil

She would accept the ruling of the court because the court would render a decision favorable to her.

  37. azcarraga_times azcarraga_times

golez the marcian, pahiya ka nanaman! how shallow it is for him to measure political maturity by a people’s fidelity to so called institutions when in fact, a politically mature people would be more faithful to the truth as it affects not just the business of governance but their very existence.
a politically mature people owe their allegiance to the values which bind them together, and not on some artificial creature of law known as the institution of ‘presidency’. a politically mature people would be willing to rise above the institutional hindrances if it has proven to be as rotten as the majority of the members of the house of representatives, and pursue a move aimed at better governance and ultimate freedom.
in the final analysis, the ultimate measure of a state is not simply the economic figures, but how such has redounded to the benefit of the people. more importantly, it is the spirit of nationalism, of country, of freedom, of God and of people which keep them going. as Mel Gibson would say in BRAVEHEART: “What good is everything if you don’t have freedom…”

In other countries, such statement made by a government official who happens to be the President’s Spokesman should resign immediately. This affected the relationship between two countries that are members of ASEAN. But then, the term “resignation” has never been on Malacanang vocabulary.

Filipino products are just but a drop. The Thais are more economically ahead of us and more politically mature because they know when it is time to change their corrupt leader. Tayo, dedma lang. The Thai Envoy was visibly angry when he complained about Malacanang officials’ statement. The Envoy should go and kick Golez’s ass. Thais are good at kick boxing.

  57. Pinag-initan ninyo yung kilay ni Golez, hahaha. Sumakit ang tiyan ko kay Vic: “I hope Golez doesn’t make a mistake of flying to Thailand and find out the state of Maturity of the Thailanders, he might end up growing some eyebrows.”

Actually, tourism siguro aside from agri-based export industry ang top dollar earner ng Thailand. Their products are also of the highest quality, e.g. when my wife bought a Louis Vuitton fake in Chatuchak, we had it repaired the next year in the Singapore LV distributor. Nobody noticed it was a fake.

Malilinis pa ang mga Thai, the street restaurants serve the best food in Bangkok, ask any tourist. The typical “karinderya” of Bangkok is much more sanitary than what we have here. Those near Wat Saket in the rustic part of Bangkok, in Prang pu Thorn, in Yaowarat rd., and in Loong Perm which is my personal favorite, attract the most people including caucasians in business suits.

You feel safe when you’re in Bangkok, definitely not like when you’re walking in downtown Manila, Cubao, Monumento or Pasay Rotonda. Women OFWs often take public motorcycles (2-wheel) backride for something like 15 pesos without fearing they would be molested. Now, are the Filipinos really more mature?

One tip to Anthony Golez, you can have your sex change operation, breast augmentation, adam’s apple removal, derma facial remake and finally, eyebrow tattoo on the cheap in Bangkok. If you fail to find a good job after 2010, you can work as a hooker in Phat Phong and see for yourself what maturity means over in Thailand. You’d make a lot of money there, since you’re good at bitching. Good luck!

as a line in the movie legends of the fall goes “some people have these inner voices. these people go crazy. but they become legends.” if u have that inner voice telling you to act and stand up, go ahead and do it. and become a legend. It used to be Thailand sends its best minds to study agriculture at UPLB and other universities in RP. Upon completing their studies the Thai government provides them support to implement whatever they have learned. Thus they are able to produce surpluses such as rice, our staple, which we import from Thailand. Now come golez criticizing the Thais as politically immature. No matter how he says it, that was what he said and that was what was understood. Actually, the political maturity of the Filipinos has been stunted and further retarded by the warp and contorted definition of the likes of golez. People like him should be skewered and roasted on and open fire.

I will do whatever you want to do and tell the people whatever you want me to tell them.

People, golea is not just a piece of shit!

He is an ass! A SMELLY UGLY ASS! A SHIT ASS! AND HIS FACE IS UGLIER THAN HIS ASS!

  67. Sawadi ka to the Thai ambassador. Sinong may sabing mas matured politically ang mga pilipino just because they are not as bold and really willing and ready to remove a criminal squatting at the palace by the murky river.

In short, kamote! Yuck talaga!

  69. langhab langhab

this golez needs to be punished and punished fast!

i think about 40 lashes would be enough.
and of course with matching maskara.

  70. the thai ambassador needs to understand after grabbing power via edsa dos, then hello garci, this currupt administration has been doing everything it can to discourage and frown on the idea of “people power”.

  71. balweg balweg

    Golberg,

  72. balweg balweg

    langhab,

If you want my opinion about his punishment?

Manhid talaga, at ngising aso pa!

Opo, lulubog, lilitaw. Now you see, now you don’t.

GAGO!!!!!!!

  77. The “kilay-less one” is displaying immaturity even as he insists on “not apologizing.” As a sign of maturity/character, he could’ve apologized that the Thai ambassador felt offended, even if he didn’t mean to offend -its basic good manners and right conduct (GMRS) taught to us eversince…

  78. balweg balweg

NO, NO, NOooooooo….

  81. bitchevil bitchevil

Eyebrow-less and pubic hairless Golez is becoming more annoying each day so is his partner Fajardo. This bitch Fajardo even downplayed Erap’s warning that he might mobilize his supporters against Cha-Cha. Fajardo said Malacanang was not bothered by Erap’s warning and even ridiculed him by saying Erap could no longer command a huge following. Was she provoking Erap? Why couldn’t she do the same to Mike Velarde who also issued similar warning?

  82. chi chi

  83. bitchevil bitchevil

They are not scared of Erap but Malacanang is now surrounded by many container vans and armored vehicles not to include tanks and soldiers that can be called upon on a quick notice.

  84. Tedanz Tedanz

“How much is da doggie in da window …. lalalalaalaalalala. Nakakainis talaga!!!!!!!

  85. Valdemar Valdemar

A choice deployment and very patriotic for soldiers protecting the great leader. Baka mapugutan sila sa Mindanao at Sulu.

  88. From Rene Villarosa:

I would like to tell the Ambassador of Thailand that I envy the Thais when it comes to their ability to effect political change over a short period of time. I envy the Thais the way they excercise their political rights. I envy the thais for their patriotism, I envy their aggressiveness to pursue what is good on matters that affect the welfare of their country.

I would like to ask the honorable ambassador not to let go the insulting, politically incorrect statement of that Antonio Golez. He must deal with that Antonio Golez strongly.

Truly, shame on us for we are so ineffective in dealing with the blatant corruption, cheating, and stealing in our current government…how I wish we can act and do the same as what your fellow countrymen has done recently. That is true freedom…that is true people’s power….
