Mr. Go has to go. How many like him ended up giving up? It’s because this evil government does not listen to legitimate complaints and grievances of the people; but is quick to punish those against it. This reminds us of some Magdalo soldiers who finally decided to strike a deal with the government. But, can we entirely blame them? We cannot expect all of them to be like Trillanes, Miranda and Querubin.
Many chose to be practical because of their needs; their families, future. Heroes are not born…they are made.

So sad that Mr. Go has given up fighting, but I can’t fault him. Hinahangaan ko pa rin sya!

  3. bitchevil bitchevil

That’s why people like Jun Lozada who’s still fighting is admirable. So is Sandra Cam. Another jueteng witness, a certain Mayor, is back to his jueteng operation in Bicol.

Lest that my opinion be misinterpreted as being an Erap supporter, what I’m going to say now is my own honest assessment of Dacer’s murder. Malacanang today is trying hard to bring back Mancao and Aquino to testify not only against Lacson but Erap. In fairness to Lacson, he was not aware of the murder…more so Erap. It was true Erap and Dacer had a misunderstanding over Dacer’s closer relationship with Ramos and Almonte. Then, Asistio accompanied Dacer to see Erap to settle the problem. It was settled. When Dacer was leaving Malacanang, he gladly told Lito Banayo that he (Dacer) and Erap were okay again. After two days, Dacer was murdered. Why would Erap or Lacson order the killing of Dacer when Dacer and Erap already settled their problem? Would it be more logical to presume that Ramos and Almonte were behind Dacer’s murder? Dacer could have revealed several sensitive things to Erap while they were settling the problem. Erap’s popularity keeps growing everyday. Erap remains to be the Evil Bitch’s biggest thorn politically.

It is all about money. It does not matter who gets sacrificed. But since they have all the stolen money to put their children into excellent schools, they are not bothered by the sub standard text books.

Many things started wrong in this world. Most of them are here in the Philippines. We never hit right education on its head. We are a brew of confusion of brains. We dont really care correcting small things like gross errors in books, are we serious then in correcting our charter? Next guy seated at the barbershop asked, What charter?

  7. parasabayan parasabayan

Inspite of our sub standard education, over 10 million OFWs are employed all over the world in different professions, some in technical and management positons. If we have a better system, imagine how much more we can achieve!

  8. Wala na nga si Mr. Go. Go is gone.

In Physics, Law of Thermodynamics is the worst of all lies. Einstein’s E=mcc is another.

All prevailing technologies which are the direct result of this costly mis-education do not conform to Nature’s Will and are therefore destructive.

Read something about Viktor Schauberger – his Science is not only easier to understand, but more profound than everybody else combined.

  10. Happy Birthday, sa magiting na Gen. Miranda!

  11. Let me share this letter from a High School teacher who graduated Cum Laude in BS Education from the University of Lubao, Pampanga. She is now teaching English in Pampanga National HS.

    “Dear Ate Charing,

We’ ve been friends for a long time ago. We come from
the same alma mother. Actually, our paths crossed one
time on another. But it’s only now that I gave him a
second look. I realized that beauty is in the eyes of
the beerholder. The pulpbits of my heart went fast,
really fast. Cute pala siya. And then, he came over
with me. He said, “I hope you don’t mine. Can I get
your number?” Nag-worry ako. What if he doesn’t give
it back? He explained naman na it’s so we could keep
intact daw. Sabi ko, connect me if i’m wrong but are
you asking me ouch? Nabigla siya. Sagot niya, The! Aba
! Parang siya pa ang galit! Persona ingrata!!! Ang
kapal niya! I cried buckles of tears.

Na-guilty yata siya. Sabi niya, isipin mo na lang na
this is a blessing in the sky. Irregardless daw of his
feelings, we’ll go ouch na rin. Now, we’re so in love.
Mute and epidemic na ang past. Thanks God we swallowed
our fried. Kasi, I’m 33 na and I’m running our time.
After 2 weeks, he plopped the question. “Will you
marriage me?” I’m in a state of shocked. Kasi mantakin
mo, when it rains, it’s four! This is true good to be
true. So siyempre, I said yes. Love is a many
    splendor.

swell to pieces.
“Well, well, well. Look do we have here.” What the!
The nerd ng babaeng yon! She said they were still on.
So I told her, whatever is that, cut me some slacks! I
didn’t want this to get our hand kaya I had to sip it
in the bud. She accused me of steeling her boyfriend.
Ats if! I don’t want to portrait the role of the other
woman. Gosh, tell me to the marines! I told her,
“please, mine you own business!” Who would believe her
    anyway?

Dahil it’s not my problem anymore but her problem
anymore, tumigil na rin siya ng panggugulo. Everything
is coming up daisies. I’m so happy. Even my boyfriend
said liketwice. He’s so supportive. Sabi niya, “Look
at is this way. She’s our of our lives.”

Kaya advise ko sa inyo – take the risk. You can never
can tell. Just burn the bridge when you get there.
Life is shorts. If you make a mistake, we’ll just pray
for the internal and external repose of your soul. I
    second emotion.”

Tongue, I heard the University of Lubao also offers BS in Jueteng Administration.

  14. parasabayan parasabayan

Tongue, when I said over 10 million OFWs are working all over the world in all capacities, I did not mean that we educate Filipinos only to be employed in other countries. If other countries value Filipinos as employees inspite of their higher standards, it means Filipinos must have some qualities better than others. Imagine if our very own country improves our education system and RETAIN our educated people, where will be now?

whether totoo man yan o hindi (fiction kung baga, :-), seriously though, we have to recognise that most graduates in the philippines nowadays can write grammatically correct paragraphs. if not text-speak, they would just go on taglish! it hurts to say that, but that is a fact.

that’s the sorry state of graduates the corrupt educational system has produced. tsk tsk tsk…what a waste.

Off topic: Nasaan na ba talaga si Bulate? In the news I just read, Gordon pulled out the senate guards kasi daw may anim na police na nagbabantay na kay Bulate but the Police ni Pidal says na wala naman daw silang inassign na mga guards ni Bulate. Hay naku, mukhang naisahan na naman and Senado ah. Unless I just read an old news and now Bulate is with the senate na.

Multiplication tayo. May 12 months sa 1 taon. 4×12=48. Ipalagay ko na lang na 30years na siyang laging napopromote, so 48×30=1,440. 1,440stars??? Kagilagilalas! Iyan ang ranggo niya sa kayabangan. Still counting pa po yan.

  28. maydangalkaba maydangalkaba

What really caught my attention is Bunye’s “sibika” edition_Thanks Toungue, which boast nothing but LIES.
They have introduced lies into the mindset of the innocent
children. Hoping that history would judge gloria as the best president that the country has ever had. When in reality and TRUTH, she the worst. Hindi ba anak sa labas ni
Diosdado itong si Gloria? Pardon my ignorance on Disodado’s
contribution to the Philippines. Would appreciate a lesson on this if need be. The Philippines must have been cursed. Punyemas!!!
I am hoping that it would not be too late to re-introduce to the children the TRUTH on what gloria arroyo really has done to the Philippines and her people. BS talaga itong si Bunye, he knows that these would be taught to our children, and he is very much aware that what he has written is farthest from the the truth.
Gregorio F. Zaide, Camilo Osias, are their books still being taught in our schools? Especially in the provinces? Just a question on that.
I really hope and pray that we get out of this damn pit that we are presently experiencing.
We must eradicate the whole shebang that these politicians are feeding us with, especially to the innocent children.
We need to overhaul our country, and really, really, really
punish all the politicians who has done the country wrong. No Exceptions. The whole rotten bunch of them.

I emphatize with Mr. Go, and appreciate what he was trying to do. Couldn’t blame him for abandoning his crusade. But with our support, I think Mr. Go would be able to continue what he is trying to do. If anyone has link or way of getting in touch with Mr. Go, please do let me know.

Is this true?
I think I am unable to write a better response to this, as I am overwhelmed by disgusts and “gigil”. I shall post a better one later. apologies.

  29. The best that Mr. Go can do now is to go online, and continue to expose those grave academic errors.

That’s the smartest way he can gain massive support.

out of topic lang po.pero ganun pa din ” patuloy ang pagbobobo ng pilipino” ibang bagay lang po.!! i was watching news here in TFC, about the meeting of oil players and the association of public utilities being presided by sec reyes.. but before hand, let me share to you the situation of oil prices here in usa.. dito po sa california ang halaga po ng gasolina ay $1.80 per gallon, and that is 3.8liters. $1.80 per gallon at ps 50.00 per $1.00 that is ps90 per gallon and you divide it by 3,8.. that is ps 23.69 per liter..i was wondering bakit po tayo patuloy na ginagawang bobo ng mga kapwa nating filipino.. i was surprised at the statement of one mr. martinez saying that, wala daw dapat makapag dikta sa kanila kung mag kano ang dapat nilang kitain.. di ba pilipino siya..ganun na ba sila ka siba sa kita, maski mag hirap na ang sam bayanang pilipino, and one mr kanapi saying that, the king of saudi said that the real price of crude oil is $70 to $80, kaya di pa sila sigurado kung magbababa sila. as of now, the oil in world market is $ 46.00 and the trend is going down, ang tingin namin sa mga oil companies diyan ay parang mga drug lord na parang sila lang ang me karapatang magtinda ng gasolina, bakit sa halip na ayusin ni mr reyes ay kanya pang pinagagalitan ang mga asosasyon ng pang publiko, talaga bang wala na silang malasakit sa taong bayan??
panahon na para gumising tayo at huwag mag papabobo sa mga taong ito..manhid na ba talaga ang mamamayang pilipino?? baka isang araw gumising tayo at maloko nanaman tayo ni GMA at mga demonyong alipores niya na sobrang ganid sa kapangyarihan..this people are so greed and so evil just to stay in their stolen power..!! let us all unite and put this evil to where they belong..HELL and at JAIL..!!

Please allow me to reprint a letter from one of the Conservatives MP regarding the Plan Takeover of our Minority Government and our Counter plans of preventing the Takeover of the agreed Coalition of the Opposition…Petitions have been going around, but in the end it will be on the Court of the Governor General, representing the Queen to Decide the outcome… our immediate plan is to ask the GG to prorogue the current sesion of the Parliament until late January where the Party can introduce the Economic Measures and another Throne Speech to re-start the new Parliament. The PM will ask the GG tomorrow to suspend the session.. May she be guided rightfully.

    Dear Friends;

Many of you have been contacting me to express your outrage at the anti-democratic actions the Opposition is moving forward with. I share your views that these actions, at this time of economic crisis, show nothing more than an inherent sense of entitlement, partisan selfishness and a naked grab for power.

Less than 2 months ago Canadians gave our Conservative government a strengthened mandate in which we made it clear that we will continue to address the global economic crisis. Now, a Socialist-Separatist-drive

n coalition is attempting to overturn the results of the last election. They are attempting to impose a radical new Government without the people’s consent, led by Stephane Dion, who Canadians resoundingly rejected as their choice for Prime Minister. This is an attack on Canada and an attack on Canadian democracy.

Internationally under a Socialist-Separatist coalition, I fear Canada will return to solving foreign affairs issues by offering lip service and tokenism. During a global economic crisis, Canada needs leadership. The principled leadership demonstrated over the past three years by this government and this Prime Minister is not likely to be emulated by the current band of political opportunists.

Under Stephen Harper’s leadership, our government was ahead of the curve in anticipating the global economic slowdown. We are injecting billions in stimulus through tax cuts, investments in roads, bridges and infrastructure, and we have made decisive moves to protect the banking system.

While we have been working on the economy, the opposition has been working on a backroom deal to overturn the results of the last election without seeking the consent of voters.

They want to take power, not earn it.

Liberal Party leader Stephane Dion was unequivocal during the recent election that the NDP is “economically-damaging”, and their policies would have horrific consequences for Canadians. He campaigned explicitly against a coalition.

The Liberal Party and its leader, Stephane Dion were rejected by voters less than 2 months ago. After receiving its lowest share of the popular vote since Confederation, the Liberal Party does not have a mandate to lead a government. They don’t have a mandate for a coalition with the NDP. Their Socialist-Separatist-driven coalition is a betrayal of democracy and a betrayal of Canadians.

This is clearly unacceptable for a modern democracy.

Canada’s government should be decided by Canadians.

    Not backroom deals.

    It should be your choice.

    Not theirs.

It’s time to Stand up for Canada!

Please join me on Saturday December 6 from noon-2pm at a soon to be disclosed location in Toronto as democracy-loving Canadians from coast-to-coast gather to support democracy, not political games in this time of crisis.

    Sincerely,

The Honourable Peter Kent, P.C., M.P.

  34. Go fought for “12 LONG YEARS” my friends, 12 long years – grabe, who can beat that? Who among the present crop of opposition and supposed reformers has that degree of commitment? Sayang tong taong to talaga…
How can you go up against giants like V, R, and P when they can sabotage any other winning bidder’s chances of collecting? Ikaw ba naman hindi maka kolekta ng 200M for two years kung hindi tataob ang negosyo mo?
Somebody should look at the material used in these books also, cheap uncoated woodfree paper made from pulp illegally sourced (rain forest, illegal logging, etc) but priced in the level of European paper. These suppliers don’t have Forest Stewardship Certificates (FSC) or Chain of Custody Certificates certifying these were produced under “sustainable” practices thats why they can’t sell to big markets like the US and Europe, so they dump it on our shores where “corruption” laps it up greedily.

  35. I could understand if Go is fed up already, it seems like nobody cares. Where are the “well-meaning” presidentiables? senators? congressmen? this is a fight worth taking, it affects the future of our youth!
There were so many reports about DECS already, millions worth of computers rusting in a warehouse somewhere, and how much is the education budget, its very big actually because its supposed to be a “priority.” I don’t think anyone was called by the Ombudsman for this. Its really strange since its easy to get proof/evidence, just get copies of the books, I believe they’re still using the same ones since 12 years ago…

  36. balweg balweg

Nice statement vic, but ang kaso eh only few of our kababayang Pinoys have access or knowledge in foreign affairs political issues.

juggernaut says: Go fought for “12 LONG YEARS” my friends, 12 long years – grabe, who can beat that?

balweg, actually today and this very moment the PM is in conversation with GG and we are all waiting for the outcome of their talk. If and when the GG refused the request the Govertment will cease to exist by Monday, when the opposition plan to defeat its first measure and they opposition will ask the GG (their turn) to form a Coalition Government and that is for her to decides again as an Election was just held last Oct. 14. I wish we can have another Election and then if the result the same, they oppositions can start the Parliament with their Coalition instead of Taking Over thru the Backroom Deals, which I believe is borderline Undemocratic.

  39. bitchevil bitchevil

What Vic and other Canadians fear most is the Quebec Bloc as part of the coalition since this group is a separatist group.
The problem with Parliament is that the PM could easily be replaced by majority votes.

Balweg, a Philippine passport is treated with suspicion whenever a Filipino travels. Many of my friends hide their RP passports at the airport. If you carry US passport, it’s like a status symbol; but these days Americans are scared to display their passports due to America’s enemies around the world. Canada’s passport is better respected. Many white Americans pretend to be Canadians when they travel.

  40. vic vic

balweg, my elder sister way back in the early 80’s worked in Saudi as a Canadian Nurse and she was paid at the time when the Saudi was still awash with so much money more than she makes at Sick Kids Hospital with free board and two months paid vacations round trip tickets equivalent to her home country and no TAX. she stayed for 8 long years and passed the job to her friend and classmate. they are both retired now and spend their time in the Philippines a lot of time.

  41. balweg balweg

    vic,

    qouted from http://news.aol.com/article/canadas-pm-faces-political-crisis/267137!

The opposition accuses Harper of not having a solid plan to help the economy? This is the main issue why the canadian opposition party revolted against the incumbent PM…nic move from the opposition side coz’ this is their duty to protect their country from inept leader.

Yan ang gusto nila so be it… magtiis tayong lahat!

  42. bitchevil bitchevil

One thing that seems to be unfair but nonetheless a policy in the Middle East that favors US and Canadian citizens is that they get paid in dollars while Filipino nurses are paid in pesos. As a result, some Filipinos who immigrated to the US and Canada after becoming citizens return to Saudi to work and get paid in dollars. This is true not only in medical profession but other professions as well.

  43. chi chi

Domino effect…

Twelve long years of commitment to right the wrong in our textbooks, Mr. Go is a patriot.

  44. vic vic

balweg, the opposition with the instigation of the NDP had already been conspiring with the Liberal before the Minister of Finance told the House, that the Full Economic Measures will be included in his Annual budget to be introduced by next February which is now forwarded to January 27. But during the Election campaign, the Finance Minister had already bought out the Bank Mortgages worth $80 Billions to give them that much liquidity and is now negotiating with the Province of Ontario in regards to Auto Industry Bail Out.

But if you have a minority Government and a Liberal Leader resigning in May for bringing his party to defeat last Election in terms of seat and popular votes and only the Second in the Party History not to become the Country PM, a few months in the office is a Great Temptations. Stephan Dion is a man like others, full of great envy…

  45. bitchevil bitchevil

I wonder if this Stephan Dion is related to singer Celine Dion. Anyway, I never like this Liberal Party leader Dion. His English sucks !

  46. ipaglaban_mo ipaglaban_mo

i totally agree what chi just said.

  47. vic vic

good news, the GG has agreed to PM request to suspend the Parliament to give the Government the time to work on the economic plan, and also to review the proposed cutbacks on campaign fundings for political parties. comes January if the oppositions still want to take over, then the GG may call an election, instead of allowing the Coalition to take over.

I would suggest strongly if ever we will win a Majority or back in Government to propose a Bill that will guarantee a minimum tenure of a minority Government with agenda to be worked out with oppositons and a fixed election for a majority Government. this election every so often is so expensive for the campaign contributors. Note: candidates can not spend more than any individual. campaign and party’s funds can only come from individuals with strict limits and government in the forms of rebates and direct fundings.

BE, Dion is very common French name. they are not related. And Dion is a French citizen too, that is why he speaks very fluent french but poor english..but officially we are bilingual, so it is not an issue.

  48. bitchevil bitchevil

Canada is a bilingual nation; but I notice that many of her leaders speak French most of the time. Even when they speak in media, domestic or abroad, they keep speaking in French even if the audience are predominantly English speaking. One time, I was turned off by Harper’s frequent use of French in the US where Americans understand English.

  49. vic vic

BE, when the PM speaks in other countries he also speaking for the listeners to his home country and has to do in both languages, that is the protocol and the tv back here has to translate both according to which station is based. so they all have to do it twice.

  50. vic vic

but that is only applicable for the Federal Government and its employees. Provincial governments are not obligated.

  51. bitchevil bitchevil

Thanks Vic. I prefer that Canada has one common language, English. It’s divisive to have two languages. Also, I wonder why Canadians have to pay respect to the Queen of England. It looks to me that Canada does not have her own cultural identity.

  52. balweg balweg

Speaking of one common language BE,

Does the United States have an official national language? NO! Look @ http://ask.yahoo.com/20011107.html

The United States does not have an official language;[2] however, the majority of the population speaks English as a native language.
    Source:http://en.wikipedia.org /wiki/Languages_in_the_United_States

53 UN-member nations have English as their official language, why hasn’t America? 85 percent of Americans (including a majority in every subgroup) favor doing so. Even more interesting, more than 2/3 of Hispanics favor it, and 91% of foreign-born Latino immigrants agree that learning English is essential to succeed here. Source: @ http://ezinearticles.com/?English-Should-Be-the-Official-Language-of-the-United-States&id=1665885

  53. bitchevil bitchevil

What I was referring to was a country’s official language. A country may have many languages spoken by ethic groups, but it must have one official language. That’s why I’m not in favor of so called bilingual policy. In the US, when we speak of bilingual, we mean English and Spanish. The problem is many Latinos who became American citizens do not even speak a word of English. In Canada, if you go to Vancouver especially Richmond, there are many Chinese-Canadians who also don’t speak English. You would be surprised to see many commercial establishments and malls that are even written in Chinese as if you’re in Hong Kong or China. This is not correct.

  54. I could understand if Go is fed up already, it seems like nobody cares. Where are the “well-meaning” presidentiables? senators? congressmen? this is a fight worth taking, it affects the future of our youth! – jug

This is one of several reasons why I lost trust in our Politicians. I would rather gamble with the Boy Scouts like Gen. Lim and Sen Trillanes.

And it’s not a fight worth taking, but it’s the only battle we have to fight. Dahil once mulat na ang tao sa katotohanan, sila na mismo ang maghahatid sa mga Shenanigans na ‘to into literal absolute oblivion.

  55. Again, WE DON’T NEED Politicians in order to survive.

Mabubuhay pa rin tayo kahit wala sila.

    Lugi.

Did Oscar Dela Hoya say Manny Pacquiao look like King Kong? Around him are two monkeys, Chavit Singson and Lito Atienza.

  59. Valdemar Valdemar

    Sumpit,
Sa internet no absences. Sa simbahan, no absences at bigay pa sila.

  60. bitchevil bitchevil

I got an idea which others may not agree. If Pacquiao wins, people go out in the streets pretending to celebrate his victory but Malacanang doesn’t know it’s already People Power.
    What do you think?

  62. parasabayan parasabayan

    Excellent idea BE!

People can carry banners and cards that say “Congratulation Manny”. I’m sure the cops will celebrate with these people unaware that they are anti-GMA. Then, they could cross Mendiola to Malacanang. The Presidential Security would all be smiling and celebrating with the people. As crowd grows into hundreds of thousands and million, people suddenly shout “Gloria Resign”.

BE, they are all in the Charter, in reality Section 16 up to 22 deal with Languages and the Respect for other languages ( under the legal Rights sections) other than French and English and also the Queen as the Head of Canada and until we dance the Cha-Cha and change the provisions of our Charter, we have to Abide by them.

As long as there was such a base, I felt strongly that it was necessary to see the constitutional process through to its conclusion, that to do otherwise would be unfaithful to the spirit of that deliberately difficult process and a dangerously destabilizing precedent for the future.”

When we left the Philippines, the issue was the diploma mill. Too many people getting diplomas that they could not even use to find good paying job.

At least, UP was not guilty of it with a lot many students getting shifted along the way, matira ang matibay sort of. When I went through the tutorial education of public education in UK, I realized, however, what Filipino students were lacking, and students contented with the bulok educational system being imposed on them by the kurakots in their government.

    Nakakaiyak sa totoo lang!

  68. BTW, Escudero is being groomed by his party to run for the presidency in 2010. To us, who supported him in the last election and getting disappointed with his flip-flopping and politicizing, we say, “NO MORE!”

I don’t because we don’t have dual citizenship in Japan. It’s the least I can do for the land of my birth.

I got this liberal opinion about The Crisis of Public Education in the Philippines by Dr. Ronald Meinardus was the former Resident Representative of the Friedrich-Naumann-Foundation in the Philippines and a commentator on Asian affairs. E-mail comments to liberal@philippines.fnst.org

According to the human capital theory, the economic development of a nation is a function of the quality of its education. In other words: the more and better educated a people, the greater the chances of economic development.

The Pacquiao-Dela Hoya fight would be a fixed match. Better believe me. It’s alright to watch the fight since it’s the biggest match of the year; but don’t expect a real match. It’s fixed. It’s all about money and gambling. Both fighters have nothing to lose and both earn big bucks. If you have a heart for Manny, bet for him. If you have a heart for your wallet, bet wisely.

If Manny loses, he could always claim that he’s against a bigger and more experienced opponent. It doesn’t cost him anything but just one loss. He would still have more matches lined up for him including a re-match with Dela Hoya. If you recall, his pregnant wife Jinky was very much against this fight. Later, she allowed him. Why? Was it because she was assured that it’s going to be a fixed fight?
And whoever loses, each is assured of million of dollars including the share from HBO Pay-for-View earnings?

The Pidal Mafia may be betting on Manny’s opponent. That’s the way gambling syndicate operates. Is Mike Arroyo in Las Vegas? We didn’t see him arrive with the Evil Bitch from Hong Kong? Of course his son, the horse smuggler, is in Las Vegas. More than half of the congressmen are there. It would be nice to have a list of who are there. Among the senators, I’m 100% sure Lito Lapid is there.

There’s nothing wrong to root for a fellow Filipino abroad. There’s nothing wrong to be patriotic and be proud of one’s flag. But, are these politicians really for the country or for money? Who pays for their trip?

In order not to be disappointed, it would even be better not to watch the fight. Who wants to watch a fixed game? If Manny loses and we see Chavit Singson smiling…that’s it.

  73. bitchevil bitchevil

I don’t think Escudero would join Lakas or the Administration.
So far, Escudero has been consistently behaving like a true opposition. Chiz is closer to Erap than his godmother the Evil Bitch. Chiz doesn’t owe Malacanang anything. The ones who helped him last election were Danding and Lucio Tan. Besides, Chiz is still too young to aspire for national office. He would keep his Senate position since his contribution is very much needed. Then, he would be ripe for Presidency or Vice after 2010.
