Kung nakakahawa ang masama, ganuun din ang kabutihan at katapangan. Nanindigan si Jun Lozada. At ito, nakita rin natin na naninindigan ang judge na humahawak ng kanyang kaso, si Judge Jorge Emmanuel Lorredo.
Dinala sa Medical Center Manila si Lozada noong Martes ng gabi dahil sa dehyration. Mabuti na rin daw ang lagay niya ngayon.
Naka-schedule siyang i- arraign sa sala ni Judge Jorge Emmanuel Lorredo ngayong araw at 8:30 ng umaga. Bago niyan magkakaroon ng pagdarasal. Sabi ni Lorredo sa kanyang pambihirang order na maaring sumali ang mga iba’t-ibang grupo na sumusuporta kay Lozada sa morning prayers . Sabi pa niya gusto ng Supreme Court na simulan ang sesyon sa korte ng pagdarasal.
Sinabi kong pambihira ang order ni Lorredo sa kaso ng perjury na isinampa ni Mike Defensor, dating chief of staff ni Gloria Arroyo, dahil hindi lang simpleng notice ng araw, oras at lugar ng arraignment. May kasama pang payo.
Pinayuhan niya si Defensor na makipag-ayos kay Lozada dahil baka matulad siya sa isang Mike, ang asawa ni Gloria Arroyo. Sabi niya, “ There are those who say that the serious heart disease is some kind of punishment for Atty. Mike Arroyo. I do not know if this is true, for I do not really know how our Lord works, for He does works in mysterious ways…Iif it is true that Mike Arroyo is being punished, Defensor may also be punished with some serious disease.”
Dapat naleksyon na si Dfensor dahil sabi ni Lorredo, naparusahan na rin siya.Natalo siya noong 2007 eleksyon. Dati raw sikat si Defensor bilang presidential chief of staff. Ngayon sabi niya ang pinaglalaruan na lang ni Defensor ay ang mga luma at bulok na tren. Kasi ang posisyon ni Defensor ngayon ay hepe ng Philippine National Railways.
Sabi ni Lorredo kung makarating sa trial ang kaso, maaring magiging malaki at explosive na kaso ito kasi hindi niya mapigilan ang sino man sa dalawang partido na tawagin si Gloria at Mike Arroyo para mag-testigo.
Kung ayaw ng mag-asawa humarap sa korte, pwedeng silang ipa-aresto. Kung ayaw ng mga pulis mag-aresto, may awtoridad siyang mag-deputize kung sino man ang mag-aresto sa mag-asawa.
Sabi ni Lorredo, maari niyang i-deputize si Manila Mayor Fred Lim o Sen. Ping Lacson, na parehong malawak ang karanasan sa ganitong mga bagay dahil dating mga pulis.
Kung sasabihin naman na kayang-kayang harangin ng Presidential Security Group ang mag-aresto sa mag-asawang Arroyo, sabi ni Lorredo “Ay kung sumama si Sen. Trillanes at ang kanyang mga kasamahang Magdalo sa misyon?”
Okay itong Judge Lorredo na ito, a. Sabi a niya, “Naintindihan mo ba, Mr. Railroadman?”
Nasa Amerika pa si Defensor kaya wala pa siyang reaksyon. Siyempre, medyo inis si Justice Secretary Raul Gonzalez. Sabi niya dapat daw si Lorredo, kaso ang ang kanyang talakayin at hindi na siya dapat magkomento sa ibang bagay.
Sabi naman ng isang abogado sa aking blog, ang kaso ay sub-judice kaya hindi rin dapat magkomento si Gonzalez tungkol sa merito ng kaso.
I’m more convinced now that Judge Lorredo means “REAL” business in dealing with the TRUTH! He’ll start the arraignment with PRAYERS and even invited groups who’d like to participate to join him!

As with Judge Lorredo, that was a classic. Maraming nagulat considering the fact that what he penned diverted from the usual stiffly legal parlance used by judges – why, he just made a Wordsworth! There are mixed reactions to the court order, some said it was wonderful while some thought it ridiculous because of the style Judge Lorredo used. I too, saw it as awkward but because it was written out of good intentions I will side with him for in some way he preserves the bias of the judicial branch that is towards nothing more but Justice.
I note that everyone use th St. Lukes. Probably because they have the best doctors and certificators. Reason enough for our SECOND CLASS doctors are itching to leave us.

Who is Judge Lorredo? Where did he came from? Is Lozada’s case his first high profile and publicly publicized case? He is so strange in so many ways, e.g.,
1-he is persuading the accuser, Defensor to settle with the accused (Lozada).
2-he is the only judge who’s got the balls to publicly tell that he can issue arrest warrant to the first couple.
3-he is the only judge who mentioned that he could deputize guys who can arrest the first couple.
4-he is the only judge who insinuated that FG illness was God’s punishment.
5-he is the only judge to suggest the Magdalo against the PSG.
Judge Lorredo’s true color will be known later. Hopefully, he won’t be like Defensor who is already a sacrificial lamb. In my opinion, this issue is one bait of the administration to destabilized the government to proclaim martial rule. One of Judge Lorredo’s line is an igniter. He said, “It is true that evil, cruel and vindictive regimes can use the law to make their enemies suffer, but it is that very same set of laws that can enable the oppressed (to) fight back”.

gabriela, I am not against Judge Lorredo but we need to first find out what the administration is cooking before we react. Recent events are so drastic and doubting, it may be connected to Cha-cha or Martial Law. These events are,
1-addition of party list to Congress.
2-early retirement of Gen. Yano and Gen. Luna.
3-imprisonment of Jun Lozada.
4-arrest of GMA’s critics on the Hello Garci scandal.
5-Comelec’s impending failure on election automation.
What we are trying to avoid is a repeat of the manipulation and deception by the administration’s master planners that may result to what they wanted, where a good example is EDSA 2.
the most intriguing is the recent press release of comelec that all of the bidders are disqualified…hmmmm

habib: I really don’t know if he said so..I was out of the country since 1969..but I thought it was Fidel Ramos..I think he died in the early 2000. As a matter of fact Jorge Lorredo, jr. may have died not so long ago..that is what his friend told me in 2006, kasi naitanong ko kung kamusta na si Jorge.

THE 15-man Philippine Stock Exchange named Hans B. Sicat, eldest son of former Planning Minister Gerardo P. Sicat, as its chairman during the annual stockholders meeting Saturday.
