Hindi pa nagaganap ang 2010 na eleksyun ngunit nagsisimula na ang girian para sa 2016 na eleksyun.
Napabalita noong isang araw ang maliit na gulo sa Liberal Party sa pagitan ng Team Chiz at grupo ni Mar Roxas, ang kandidato nila para bise presidente.
Ang Team Chiz ay mga tauhan ni Sen. Francis “Chiz” Escudero na kinabubuan ng writers at media coordinators. Medyo marami-rami din yan sila.
Kung maala-ala natin, tatakbo sana si Chiz bilang presidente sa eleksyun na ito at maganda ang kanyang ratings. Kaya lang nang namatay si Cory Aquino, nag-iba na ang tanawin sa pulitika. Pati si Mar Roxas, na siyang pambato sana ang LP para presidente ay bumaba para magiging bise-presidente. Si Chiz naman, nagdesisyun na hindi na ipilit ang kanyang pagka-kandidato.
Si Chiz ay tumutulong ngayon kay Noynoy Aquino. Ayun sa isang newspaper report, ang media group ng Team Chiz ang malaking kontribusyon ni Escudero kay Noynoy dahil sagot niya ang sueldo ng kanyang grupo pati na rind aw ang budget para sa mga reporters na nagku-cover sa Liberal party.
Sabi nga ng isang reporter, “pera kaya yan ni Chiz o pera ng isa niyang mayaman na suporter.” Pera man ni Chiz yun o kung sino man, contributor na rin ni Noynoy yun. Siguro naman alam ni Noynoy yun.
Epektibo itong Team Chiz lalo na nang pumasok si Serge Osmeña at Lito Banayo. Ito kasi ang grupo na para sana sa 2010 presidential bid ni Chiz na naudlot.
Di ba nagsimula si Noynoy na mataas, sobra 50 per cent ang survey ratings, tapos bumaba at unti-unting tumaas si Manny Villar ng Nacionalista Party. Nang pumasok ang Team Chiz at si Serge Osmena, naka-recover kaagad. Itinulak nila ang “Villaroyo” na propaganda na pumatok.
Ang problema lang dito sa pagpasok ng Team Chiz ay si Jojo Binay na kandidato para bise-presidente ni dating pangulong Joseph Estrada ang kandidato ni Chiz. Malapit kasi sa isa’t-isa si Chiz at Binay dahil nagtabaho sila sa kampanya ni Fernando Poe Jr. noon4 2004.
Kaya medyo inis si Roxas. Nang iniwan na ni Serge Osmeña ang kampanya ng LP para asikasuhin ang kanyang senatorial campaign, si Mar ang pumalit. Medyo ilang naman si Mar sa Team Chiz dahil alam naman niyang hindi siya dinadala ng grupo, kaya, “ginarahe” daw niya ang grupo.
Kinampihan ni Aquino si Chiz. Sabi niya, “Chiz and his people are still in my team; specifically my team. Not LP, not coalition but my team. The important thing is they’re still my team.”
Naayos naman kaagad ang gusot dahil ang maliwanag naman sa mga apektado sa isyu na ang kalaban nila ay si Villar. At si Mar, sigurado naman ang kanyang panalo sa pagka-bise presidente.
Sabi ng isang opisyal ng LP, kinikinita nila ang 12 taon sa kapangyarihan dahil pagkatapos daw administrasyun Noynoy, siguradong mahal pa sila ng tao kaya kanila pa rin ang susunod na presidente. Si Mar nga yun.
Hindi dapat manigurado ang mga Liberal sa 2016 kahit malaki ang posibilidad na sila ang sa Malacañang sa Hunyo . Sa tingin ko, kahit sino ang mananalo sa Mayo 10 sa dami ng problema ng bansa, walang masyadong pagkakaiba ang mangyayari sa ating buhay. Marami ang magiging dismayado. Sa loob ng isa o dalawang taon, mumurahin na siya ng mga tao. Kasama na diyan ang mga kakampi nya.
Tama ka dyan, Ellen. Tignan mo na lang si Gloria nang maupo. Di ba inakala ng mga sumuporta sa kanya, siya na ang “savior” ng bayan? Pagkalipas naman ng ilang taon, yung ding mga sumoporta sa kanya ang nagtawag na palayasin siya. Ang hirap kasi gusto natin at naniniwala pa tayo sa isang HERO na sasagip sa atin.
Mar and Chiz are both admired by Filipinos now, because Mar gave way for Noynoy while Chiz withdrew from race. Both actions were uncommon in phil politics, wherein a politician persist and insist to run and cling on to power in the hope of winning by hook or by crook. However, Mar’s performance in his 6 years vice presidency will be measured by voters and a deciding factor in 2016 presidential race.

I think, we have to look at these virtues of ” Humility and Respect, and complete understanding or analysis of a given situation ( not greedy or opportunistic ). I / we wish these two humble-intellectual Senators should be given a chance to show their skills and leadership to repair the country. Just my ” food for thoughts “.
I remembered in one the speeches of the late Sen. Ninoy Aquino, he said that “Anyone who succeeded Marcos, would smell like horse manure six months after taking power.” He never thought that it would be his wife that would be succeeding Pres. Marcos. And indeed, Cory’s gov’t (NOTE: Not Cory as a person but her gov’t which was actually being run by relatives and opportunist) in less than 6 months started smelling like horse manure.
I believe this will actually happen to whoever will become the next president. And yes, even Noynoy who profess to be “clean” and not tainted with corruption, etc.. (daw).
One ALEX PINOY wrote the following qualities of an ideal politician. They are as follows:
1) God loving and fearing, 2) Love for his own country, 3) Love for his fellow countrymen, 4) Loves to serve his/her fellow countrymen within the bounds of the law, 5) Has a high regard for morality, 6) Has excellent leadership skills, 7) Well educated, 8) Has charisma, 9) The ability to wield a nation by his/her Political will, 10), Down to earth albeit his/her position is in the cloud, 11) Has no tendencies to corrupt even a single cent, 12.)Implements and upholds the laws of the land always.
Except for #7, we all know Gloria Arroyo is none of the above.
Do our present CRAP of candidates for the national elections this coming May exhibit any or all one of the qualities above ? Ewan ko kayo, pero this is my humble take on this:
Without exception (because we will never know their metamorphosis once the sweetheart deal is over), our politicians in general are scions of wealthy and old political clans, schooled in the best schools money could buy, has a COLGATE smile, a few sweetheart deals here and there, and a mind-boggling capacity for a lot of bullshit. Worse, they even turn to some shadowy PR firms to get their lies and garbage out in public.
We all know them. They are the cream of the crap. Depending on the situation, most of them are devoid of any real-time moral or ethical values. In other words, these #%$@&* compromise whatever values they have left just to get elected.
They will kiss our asses and even our babies (PHOOEY !!). But deep in their inner sanctums, they keep a lot of secrets and closet boogey-men which will be unleashed at an opportune time.
Because none of the presidentiables, for one, has no real clear program of government, I doubt if I will even vote for one.
Sino nga ba sila ? Si Manny na pobre, si Erap na maka-mahirap, si Noynoy na haciendero, at si Gibo na walang ka-malay-malay ?
Ang masasabi ko lang , VOTERS, CHOOSE WISELY.

Noynoy sided with Chiz instead of his VP Roxas. So, Chiz is more VIP than Roxas?
Now it can be told that this was a result of that late night visit of Noynoy at the house of Chiz last year. Niligawan niya si Chiz na mag-back-out muna as candidate and support him instead and in return, he will support him (Chiz) come 2016. The picture has now become clear why Chiz backed-out. A give and take or in short a symbiotic deal had been forged between them.
The poor victim and the loser is Mar Roxas. Kawawang Mar, naisahan at na-onse na siya at napatalsik sa matagal na niyang pinapangarap at pinaghahandaan na pagkandidato sa pagka-presidente, mukhang outside the kulambo siya uli sa 2016. He has been shabbily treated by Noynoy and no sign of respect whatsoever.

Was that an spontaneous reaction or in a moment of “meltdown”?
That’s not how to talk to a teammate especially your VP, as if Roxas is not a member of the team. He considered his relationship with Chiz as personal and that the later will only work for him and not for the entire party. He could have been more tactful and polite in dealing with the situation and not with a spoiled brat arrogance. How’s that for a teammate?
For Mar, nasingitan siya as presidential candidate, naunahan din siya kay Korina. Tough luck!

Noynoy: Palace impounding my ‘pork’

MANILA, Philippines – Sen. Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III said yesterday Malacañang has been impounding his P200-million annual pork barrel fund allocation since he was elected to the Senate in 2007.
“My last was in 2005, which was a SARO (Special Allotment Release Order) for hospitals. None afterwards. Mar (Roxas), I understand, is also not getting any,” he said when asked if he and Roxas received their annual pork barrel allocations.

He and Mar are not the only ones whose pork barrel has been withheld. Chiz Escudero,Antonio Trillanes IV, Liza Maza, Satur Ocampo, Teddy Casino, and others.
In fact, in the case of Chiz, since he was a member of the House of Representatives when he spearheaded the filing of the impeachment against Gloria Arroyo, which a number of the LP members didn’t support for fear that their pork barrel allocation would be withheld.
There is an abs-cbn report about a lawyer revealing fraud by Money’s companies. Violation of lawyer-client relationship daw sabi ng abogada ni Money.
The lawyer client privilege only applies to past crimes, i.e. a client comes and says,
“atty, ipagtanggol mo ako. Nakapatay ako ng tao.”
Everything the client says about the case is privileged, and testimony by a disloyal lawyer is inadmissible. But the privilege does not cover future or continuing crimes, because the lawyer, like any citizen, has the duty to report to the authorities.

Padi-disbar daw ni Nalen Galang si Mendoza. It is Nalen-Galang who may be disbarred if Mendoza proves his allegations, because she participated in the fraudulent undertakings of Money’s company.
I hope hindi matapalan itong Mendozang ito.
