Sa Biyernes, Oktubre 8, isang daang araw na ang administrasyon ni Pangulong Benigno Aquino III.
Alam naman natin na maigsi naman ang isang daang araw para ayusin ang bansa lalo na sa siyam na taon na pang-aabuso at pagsalaula ni Gloria Arroyo ng mga institusyon pangdemokrasya katulad ng eleksyun at hustisya.
Ganun din sa larangan ng pang-ekonomiya. Sadlak tayo sa utang. Ang nagbubuhay sa atin ay ang padala ng ating mga kababayan sa ibang bansa. Pera na kabayaran ng kanilang dugo at pawis.
Kahit na wala namang umaasa na malutas ni PNoy ang problema ng bansa sa kanyang unang tatlong buwan, dapat nakikita na ng taumbayan ang direksyun na ating pinatutunguhan.
Pinangako ni PNoy noong kampanya na siya ay maging iba kaysa kay Arroyo. Sinabi rin niya na pananagutin niya si Arroyo sa kanyang perwisyo sa bayan.
Hinikayat niya ang sambayanan sa sinasabi niyang “matuwid na daan” at tuwang-tuwa naman sumama sa kanya.
Hindi madali ang unang tatlong buwan ni PNoy. Ngunit may pinakita naman siyang maganda. Isa na dito ay ang “transparency”, ang kanyang pagiging bukas sa publiko at sa impormasyun tungkol sa kanyang pamahalaan.
Makikita naman na sinsero siya at hindi siya waldas. Buo naman ang tiwala ng taumbayan na hindi siya kurakot.
Ang kahinaan ni PNoy ay sa pagpili ng mga taong tutulong sa kanya sa pamahalaan. Kung tingnan natin ang mga miyembro ng gabinete ni PNoy, ang karamihan ay tumulong sa kanya noong kampanya. Parang bayad utang.
Matinding pagsubok ang dinaanan ng administrasyong Aquino noong Agosto 23 kung saan nanghustage ang isang napatalsik na pulis ng isang bun a puno ng turista galing Honkong.
Kung timbangan ang nangyari noong Agosto 23, lumabas ang maraming pagkukulang ni Aquino at ng kanyang mga tauhan. Ang ilang nabuking na palpak ay sina Interior Secretary Rico E. Puno, ang PNP Chief noon na si Jesus Verzosa, at si Foreign Secretary Alberto Romulo. Nasa report ng Incident Investigation and Review Committee ang listahan ng mga opisyal na pumalpak.
Inaabangan ngayun ang desisyun ni PNoy sa rekomendasyun na ginawa ng IIRC dahil dito malaman kung kaya ni PNoy disiplinahin ang mga taong malapit sa kanya at tumulong sa kanyang kampanya.
Kung hindi, lihis na si PNoy sa matuwid na daan.
Normal sa tao ang magkamali. Normal sa buhay ang matisud. Ang mahalaga ay matuto sa pagkamali. Bumangon sa pagkatisud at magpatuloy na mas malakas at mas bukas ang mata.
Sana ganun si Pangulong Aquino.
Mabuhay ang inutil na administrasyon ni noynoy! ipagdiwang at magsaya dahil sa kanyang palpak na administrasyon. 100 days na siya pero lalong pumupurol ang mga kokote nila. Imagine pina translate pa pala yung reports sa 5 language para maintindihan niya! OMG gosh abelgoshhh…. presidente ba siya!? MGA Bontante magpakatalino kayo sa pagpilit ng presidente dahil ang napili nyo mas magaling pa yung bario kapitan.

Si Pnoy na nakita natin ngayon ay siyang Pnoy din na makikita natin bukas. Maaaring may pag-iiba sa ilang bagay, ngunit pansamantala lamang. Mahirap na magbago pa si Noynoy.
Kaya kung si Nana Sana ang tatanungin, sana nakita natin ang Noynoy na nakita natin ngayon. Sa ganoon, mas informed sana ang pagpili natin ng presidente.

I’m satisfied with PNoy’s 100 days. Looking back at Gloria’s 9 years… oh yes, I can say it’s not bad at all for PNoy. I can see that he’s adjusting and doing his best. His best may not be good enough for now so I’m giving him the chance to move on and do what he has to do for our country. The problem with our kababayans is the lack of patience and lack of support…too negative and too critical.

i agree there are areas to be improved in P.Noy’s gov’t, primarily 1.) in the pending issue of Usec Rico Puno’s jueteng involvement, and his unfulfilled promise of resignation. 2.) The proposals by DOF to increase SLEX Toll rate, tax small market vendors, increase LRT fare, and filing of tax evasion against small fries while turning a blind eye to corrupt big fishes in gov’t, were some of the early major major mistakes and blunders of P.Noy’s people. A truly good government would only file charges against the private sector as a last resort, instead of its first option. 3.) The handling of OFWs languishing in detention cells abroad , and the finger pointing game who received HK’s Donald Tsang’s urgent call to P.Noy during the hostage crisis, showed incompetence and anomalies at DFA. 4.) NHA’s violent demolition of informal settlers in QC to accommodate business greed. 5.) MMDA’s cat and mouse game against colorum buses to the gross inconvenince to commuters and motorist alike. 6.) Plan to sell income generating PAGCOR. 7.) Unwise decision of putting 2 person to head one agency, like in the case of Coloma and carandang. 8.) Major major blunder in appointing a friend Rico Puno as Usec at DILG.
Above were just some early blunders, however, positive developments far outweigh mistakes. Nevertheless, P.Noy’s gov’t must not be over confident that people’s trust will remain even if they don’t correct and learn from early mistakes. P.Noy should put COUNTRY FIRST before friends, relatives , or campaign contributors.

Convoluted yang opposition ng Simbahan. Moral issue daw ang RH bill, dahil abortion is a sin.
The RH bill is about contraceptives. Contra-ception – meaning, to prevent conception. An abortion presumes a fetus, which means, conception already took place. Nahilo na yata ang mga fraile.
Also, a moral issue is one to be decided upon by the individual, not decided for him by the frailes, imams, rabbis or dictators.
God gave man free will; but the religious (Catholic Church, Al Qaeda imams, and fundamentalist rabbis) want to take it away. This is an attempt to exercise veto power over the grant of God. This is the most insidious evil of our times; the intolerance towards free will, and the desire to dictate moral decisions on the individual.
Maybe they should start the Inquisition again (Catholic Church), and burn at the stake, the sinners who use contraceptives; the first-born of non-believers (of Judaism) should also be killed (Moses); the non-believers of Islam, as well, should all be killed (Armenian genocide). That way, only the righteous will inhabit the earth. And when they die, they will have their fill of their seventy-two virgins.
Then again, the Congressmen could pass the bill, and let the frailes all go hang. After all, their purported influence over the electorate is overrated. The Congressmen can always go to Father Garci and pray to him for more votes.

Agree to wait, HOWEVER, there is nothing in this world that stops good thinking Filipinos ensuring that recommendations by DoJ Secretary de Lima are NOT DOWNGRADED.
From what we are hearing and seeing and based on piecemeal info we’ve been getting, i.e., (1) Pres Aquino decided to hold onto the publication of the commission’s recommendations instead of releasing it right away, (2) that he is asking a “presidential panel” TO BLOODY REVIEW the findings and recommendations of DoJ de Lima’s commission (WTF????? what the heck????), etc., it could be easily concluded that something is being cooked up.
Obviously, could be too that Pres Aquino is indeed SO OVERWORKED, SO BUSY, SO WHATEVER, that he needs time to read the 83-page report and recommendations of DoJ de Lima, howerver, it is imperative to show Malacanang that people are not exactly stupid or idiots or morons, and while we have confidence that Aquino will “do the right thing”, meaning HE WILL ABIDE BY THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF de Lima’s commission just as he promised, we want to make sure that he has not forgotten his promise and to remind him too that he owes it to the people of this country to do the right thing.
It is imperative to inform Pres Aquino that we are watching him, that his loyalty to his friends (particularly the unqualified Mr PUNO) ends where his loyalty to his country begins.
Pres Aquino, don’t take good governance for granted. Show them that you have a spine and that you deserve their trust! Don’t cut off your nose to spite your face. Don’t SLAP Secretary de Lima’s on the face just to protect people, your friends, your cronies, who are definitely not worthy to keep in government.
Too bad, Noynoy’s taking so much time reading an 83 page report. All along,I thought Lacierda or whoever, said that they already simplified it to meet the level of his intellectual capacity. Something’s cooking? Or something’s cooked already as in lutong macaw?
Maybe Noynoy is still in a “sponge” mood, trying hard to absolve everything. The problem is this “sponge” is full of holes, already worn out and not only be able to hold a bit of what is there to absolve but all that was taken in are also leaking out.
In the final analysis, we will be back to square one; jueteng king Puno is still the Unsec of DILG, and a grinning Lim still wearing his dark glasses to cover his no-more tears eyes.

Well, Kgg. Tiago…nakapagtiis ang Pilipino kay Gloria for 9-years na kalbaryo sa hirap’t dusa, ngayon pa na 100 days pa lang niya sa Malacanang?
Ang gustong masaksihan ng Sambayanang Pilipino e magpakatotoo sila sa kanilang sarili at STOP politicking. Alam naman ng bawat isa ang kapasidad ni PeNOY pero binigyan siya ng pagkakataon to prove sa 90M Pinoys na kaya niyang pamunuan ang gobyerno or else buti pa magtanim na lang siya ng kamote.
Nothing new about PeNOY…except ibinoto siya ng mga Pinoy na naniniwala sa kanyang Leadership, but still millions of Kababayan e di pabor sa kanya.
Ngayon, e prove niya na kaya niyang pamunuan ang bansa at matuto siyang maging maingat sa pagdedesisyon coz’nakasalalay dito ang katatagan ng bansa at kinabukasan ng Sambayang Pilipino.
Personally, i’m not expecting something from PeNOY kasi we know him bilang isang pulitiko…naging senador siya pero isa mang BATAS e walang naipasa sa plenaryo.
Ok, granted…he is eloquent na magsalita either Ingles or Pilipino, but ang punto ng usapan e ang kanyang kakayahang pamunuan ang kanyang gabinete at 90M Pinoys.
Sa kanyang 100days sa Malacanang…imagine, ang Pinas e naging kakatwa sa paningin ng buong mundo ng dahil sa kawalang direksyon ng pamumuno or leadership?

Ngayon…malaking hamon ito sa ating lahat upang patotohanan na ang 100days ni PeNOY sa Malacanang e unsuccessful…paano na ang remaining days ng kanyang pagka-Pangulo, 6-years tayong magpipingkian ng katwiran upang pangatwiranan na TAMA o MALI ba ang ating judgment kay PeNOY and his regime.

Suko na ako diyan. I am not expecting anything positive from Noynoy’s decision re the hostage fiasco (even jueteng) regarding Puno et al. It’s not just the body language that’s giving him away. It’s the spoken language. More prevarications and double-talk.
His only saving grace, if it happens, is if he stands by his word that “heads will roll”. I’m still hoping he does so but not that optimistic.
Will I be disappointed if he does otherwise? No. I’m not planning to do a Reyn Barnido and write him another open letter either, to remind him of what he promised the people, and to Barnido.
