Dec. 10 has been declared Human Rights Day to remind mankind that as stated in the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights, “ All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights.”
In the Philippines, where people take pride of their adherence to democracy, there are still “political prisoners.”
Extra-judicial killings of people who have not been accused of any crime, continue.
