Parang mukhang unano o abnormal iyang GMA doll. Nakakatakot at pang-karnabal ang dating. Mas-okey at cute iyong Cory doll circa 1986.

  3. peacer051 peacer051

masyadong lang cute! mas gusto ko yung may malaking pakpak na mukhang paniki para kay ‘panicky’ Glue-ria. At may “nazi” mark sa dress nya.

  4. peacer051 peacer051

…tapos may hawak na laruang oink-oink (baboy) na may naka-embroidered na “Defensor” at “Ermita”. Ayos!

    Ellen,

Here’s the plan for the anti-Gloria rally in Hong Kong:

As for the action this coming Sunday, we can not move this anymore as preparations are already going on.

We will assemble at 11:00 am between the Statue Square and Legislative Council Building in Central (near Chater Road). We will be joined by local groups and I heard that the South Koreans who are in Hong Kong to attend their hearing (they were the once arrested during the protest actions against the WTO ministerial meeting here in HK) will also attend the action.

The march will start at 12:00 nn from Central to Admiralty in front of the United Centre where the Philippine Consulate General is housed. We will have an hour program there and we will submit a joint statement signed by different groups in Hong Kong.

Legislator Leng Kwok-hung (Long hair) is doing a signature campaign for the immediate and unconditional release of Cong. Crispin Beltran whom he met during the People’s Action Week against the WTO last December. He will ask the support of other legislators.

Meanwhile, trade unions and labor groups have already expressed their participation.

We hope that we can replicate this actions in other countries, even not on the same date, I think it is still ok. MIGRANTE network in Asia Pacific, Europe, US, Canada and Middle East are already conducting protests actions since the declaration of PP1017. We hope that your network can liaise with them to organize bigger and sustained actions.

    Ellen,

To follow on the Gloria-Mike Arroyo led coup d’etat, John Marzan has re-published the Gloria speech to COPA admitting to coup plot:

The dolls I’ve ordered (to be expedited to Manila) are tiny with tiny sungays and a tiny buntot (tiny, tiny horns and a short buntot)…

  10. a de brux a de brux

Juanito, maybe you should also draw another rag doll na maigsi ang buhok at may nunal tapos lagyan mo naman ng sungay at buntot…dark blue and damit dahil si Gloria mahilig sa Blue!

Let’s go guys, all those with children or who know friends with children who have dolls in Manila, perhaps, you could ask the kids to transform their dolls into a Gloria Look alike and add SUNGAYS And a BUNTOT…

    Creative exercise pa….

    Ellen,

Re AFP-Palace film spin on A Plan Oplan Hackle (based on AFP powerpoint presentation).

There is a kind of thing going around in cyberspace about the AFP powerpoint presentation re LEFTIST-MILITARY ALLIANCE TO DO A COUP D’ETAT.

The feeling I’m getting is that there are people who are starting to believe the Palace spin that there was a coup d’état attempt hence the proclamation of the State of Emergency.

The fil propaganda aired on TV will have an immense impact on the ordinary pinoy/pinay who is not really familiar with military and para-military maneuvers and therefore can not immediately see through the Palace propaganda.

Before you know it, maaawa pa sila kay Gloria! Ano ba naman yan!!!!

I posted my comments below in haste over at http://www.quezon.ph/blog/?p=856#comments

Plan A of Oplan Hackle: That was similar to Joma Sison’s plan back in the late 60s when he started recruiting Victor Corpuz who finally defected in 67.

Exactly that – there’s nothing new. The tactic of an attack from the ‘nayon’ to the site of central government over a period of time is JoMa’s dogma. That someone lifted that from Joma’s website and passed it off as the current tactical doctrine of a new found left-military alliance is highly plausible..

If for the sake of argument, we accept government thesis of a modern or latter day version of Oplan Hackle, the government has to produce evidence of a a united left wing and military alliance by way of naming names, military defectors and backers. Or one junior officer in active service backed by two very old retired military officers with a few civilian names are not exactly a proof of attempted government overthrow.

Moreover, if we are to continue on the premise that Operation Hackle would indeed culminate in the overthrow of Gloria and her government on 24th February, then the AFP thesis is defeated because to reach their objective, the tactical alliance would have needed at least 1 army division and at least the same number of leftist fighters from the NPA in order to achieve a realistic overthrow attempt.

I doubt that they would have been able to do that. Why? LOGISTICS; you need weapons, ammunitions, trucks, vehicles, other sort of motorized transport to get those men (and arms) – NPA & military adventurers – into severla battle orbits or towards their designated targets.

How do you propose to do that without being noticed by the major service commands? Are they forgetting that with military checkpoints put up in every single junction in the archipelago, how could an AFP military component get away with all the logistics without being discovered! The Palace is taking people for a ride!
These palace people are spin masters. Unbelievable that they would try to force such thing in people’s throat.
Wow! But they have the power of propaganda…

I propose that we train an accusatory gun at them – COUP D’ETAT IN 2001! If people are serious about stopping the propagation of Palace shits, I suggest that people turn around and fire a salvo that they will not ever forget: INDICT THEM for coup d’état…

  12. let us be careful about dolls, this
could be worse than shedding the
blood of tyrants, it could backfire
to us as a people – that is using a
modern weapon unheard of in the bible
or the history of any revolution to
    topple tyrants. People’s power was
truly Pinoy as a modern phenomenon
of combating oppression but it did
lead to the birth and creation of
political devils that will hound our
    people for many generations.

So far since creation, in all parts
of the world and since the dawn of
    history nothing comes best, nothing
comes more effective than the blood
letting of the corrupt powerful. When
it comes to a point where a country
becomes Sodom and Gomorra, then God
must destroy it significantly for a
few LOT to survive and repopulate the
place. The use of dolls can only be
treading the slow road to a SODOM
    and Gomorra.

  13. a de brux a de brux

What’s so sodom and gomora in real, down to earth dolls? I don’t understand Jay…

  14. a de brux

the french did not come out with a doll
hanging by the feet upside down. The
Italians did it in real life with two
    living (already shot) dolls.
the americans did not come out with a
doll being lynched by a fat man.

sodom and gomorra stands for the slow
but sure corruption of a people of a
place, where the core values had been
gradually changed. Think of all the
    Children and grandchildren of Congressmen,
    senators, governors down to barangay
captains – see how they cheat in school
in the school games they play. Have
you seen kids cheating while playing
monopoly, kids of parents who can afford
    to buy the monopoly game.

have you seen how children behave in a
totally corrupt country? Have you seen
how an honest girl who returned found
    money have immediately been corrupted
by the powers that be and by immoral
entertainers, how an old policeman so
honored tried to fight, hold his tears
    knowing the uselessness or futulity
of his act of honesty being surrounded
every minute of his duty day by
    dishonesty and corruption. where the
    good become misfits in government
    bureaucracies and in business organizations.
sodom and gomorra is not all about sex
and undbridled libido – in motels
and bars — that starts in parties
    in 5 stars watering holes.

I am no falmer or robertson, or
cbcp fanatic, i keep my eyes and ears
open to both the good and the bad.
let’s learn from history, think some
more on what the zealots say.

The point: the dolls might just
    prolonged the agony, although it
    could ignite the tenderbox of
anger and hatred towards the oppressors.
But being a Filipino, I know from the
    frustrations of Ibarra, and the
    ineffectiveness of Sinmoun, that it
will not happen not in our two lifetimes
the merry ways of evil will continue.

  15. a de brux a de brux

    I see your point!

    Ok… am all for it!

  16. a de brux a de brux

    Jay,

I suggest you start the launch, the offensive by asking your firend’s, JoMa Sison, help – your friend JoMa will write another political and tactical manifesto from Utrecht (in his capacity as CPP Chairman Armando Liwanag) for the cadres in the CPP’s armed wing, the NPA.

Gloria will then declare Martial Law and we will go into a Sodom Gomora mode quicker, faster…

  17. not so apt on sodom and gomora:

If I am a policeman, I will go after
the owners of flesh spots and their
managers. I will go after the gambling
lords. I will go after the Jueteng
financiers and leeches; I will go
    after the drug traffickers more
than the pushers, I will go after
    the criminals, instead of their
victims. As a Filipino and in PNP
where will that take me? These are
    the people that guarantees their
    a high policeman’s good life.

I guess it can not be help that some
basic upbringing tends to color and
    sway our thoughts.

All young men, if they have a
choice, they will choose to become a
policeman (in Sodom and Gomorra); in
another place, all young men if they
have a choice may only have it as
last choice if their fathers and
    grandfathers were not honored policemen.

I must admit I am not easy to decipher.
Joema is the greatest disappointment in
the communist ideology. To me he stands
    many notches lower than
all the crooked Filipino Presidents. He can not even succeed in his goal if it is to take over a government.
He was good in being an intellectual
fence sitter swaying his feet with the tide
of events. He can help no one, not
even his loyal followers who kills and
collects for him. The corrupt presidents
are better, at least their followers
enjoy the good life on what they can
    collect.

Joema can do no good for my country. The
Filipinos do not need a Joema. They do
need the bloggers, pros and antis to
broaden their options, to kick their
butts to shit or to action.

  19. a de brux a de brux

Right you are Jay! I concur entirely with that:

“Joema can do no good for my country. The Filipinos do not need a Joema. They do need the bloggers, pros and antis to broaden their options, to kick their
butts to shit or to action.”

  20. YEP, a de brux, let a million grains
of thoughts mix in the crucible of
discord, let our balls of shit
fire up the neurons of our shit heads,
let time stand still in the hour
of our cowardice, let’s not move on
but swing our swords of wind until
    its molecules solidify into diamonds
of courage to draw water from blood
    of the motherfuckers.

that’s rap for bloggers from a
jerk (not the person but a mind)
    whose ancestors were once slaves
    of benevolents.

I remember getting several Cory dolls from the DOT people in Tokyo because I owned a travel agency and was promoting Philippine tourism in Japan. I decided to use one or two as pin cushion and one day brought it with me to our rally to pin printed slogans on the jackets of my friends in the movement to save Philippine patrimonies in Japan that the Aquino government wanted to sell then for CARP (kuno). A police officer there to protect our protest from provocateurs, came to me and asked if I was practicing voodoo (kulam) because he said there was a law in Japan that prohibited it!

When Anna de Brux mentioned it, I was reminded of it, and thought, this time, if ever Defensor gives out such dolls with OFWs’ blood money, I’ll make sure to learn some encantations and prick one of his Ate Glue dolls with not just one pin but as many as I can prick it with!!! Only problem is sorcery is against my religion! I don’t want to incur the wrath of God no matter how much I despise that CRIMINAL who calls herself “the God-appointed President of the Philippines”!

I’ll probably just fast and pray for God to end soonest possible the suffering of ALL Filipinos now that at least majority of them have been brought together by one common cause—the removal of a CRIMINAL and her minions.

Kawawa ang Pilipinas kapag nagtagal pa ang mga iyan! :-

  25. ystakei ystakei

Come to think of it, but the Midget is now saying she has been meant to stay in Malacanang, or that she is God’s appointed President of the Philippines assuming, no doubt, that with God now as her excuse, her critics would stop questioning the legitimacy of her position!

In short, to her, it is “To hell with elections!” and reason for talks about Chacha, Abueva’s Constitution and worse, No-el in 2007 and beyond! Heaven Forbid!
